Bollocks Pub & Kitchen - Pickering Patio in Pickering

I love wings and I usually cook my own but I recently went to Bollocks Pub & Kitchen in Pickering for their Wing Night on a Tuesday. It was a great deal and they were really good! I had the Garlic Parmesan Wings, while my friends had the Lemon Pepper Wings, and Honey Garlic Wings. All the orders came with a very generous amount of fries and a dip. The wings were all large and perfectly cooked, crispy, and served hot. The fries were really good. I ended up taking home half of my order since I was still full from a late lunch. If you like wings and love a good deal, check out Bollocks, especially for their half price wing deal on Tuesdays (1lb 7.50 | 1½lb 10.00 | 2ilbs 13.00). -------- 2019 I recently had the chance to try the wings with onion scoops and fries and was mostly pleased with the results. Despite sweating in the boxes on the way home, the wings and onion scoops remained crispy while the fries ended up soggy. Nice flavour on the wings. Ill have to try them again, in-house.

Great good and good service

Poor customer service. When I go for a pint and wings I dont want them served with attitude. Doubtful of returning.

Always fantastic food and a great cold beer to go with! Never had a bad meal and still make a point to stop in when I can.

This place is mediocre at best. Dont go there expecting good food. Thats a place you go watch a game and drink beer. Their rating sure fooled me.

Good food, but awful service from the lady with black hair. Was rude the entire time, walked past us multiple times without saying anything or asking how we were, so she could go speak to the tables directly next to us. Had to ask her for things ourselves, and when she brought them out, she slammed them on the table and left right away to go talk to the other tables again. Will only come back if there s another server.

So, they offer a gluten free bun for their burger which has gluten in it. Why bother? Very deceitful...

ABSOLUTELY NO VLUE FOR MONEY!! I am a realtor and I take my clients out often. Cmon, glass of pop $3.5!!?? a shot of Tequila is $7.5!!!??? WOW !! Side of fries is $5 !!?? lets say all that is fine... I asked for a side of hot sauce... and I had to pay $1.5!!?? WAAAAT a rip off!!!! I was there today with a client today and spent over $100! HUGE mistake! I feel sorry for the all the seniors who comes there! Listen up people, stop feeding these greedy franchise operators! And help local mom and pop shops! you would get better food for wayyyyy less price! Go to the Knights Corner pub on the other side (Value Village plaza), you would get way much more food and drinks perhaps for half the price! And no, they do not charge $1.50 for for a side of hat sauce and no, they do not charge $3.5 for a glass of pop! Plus, they had only 1 waitress / usher / bartender..., poor girl (Samantha). She was super amazing, if I start a restaurant I would hire her the GM! Her service was top notch! She was actually doing an amazing job covering about 40-50 patrons and taking gazillion orders all at once AND delivering them all without a delay!! Kudos to you and the lady in kitchen! Shame on you management ! Shame on you franchisor! NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

Great local pub with a variety of food options on the menu. They are really known for their wings but a lot of food on the menu is good. Amanda was our last server and she was excellent and was very attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu.

Great wings, too bad it closes right after the Leaf game.

There daily lunch special is not recommended very cheap and not tasty

Great service and great food. Visited here during the holidays (2022). Even though it was fairly busy that night, the service was prompt and polite. Both the food and the drinks came hardly anytime at all. The place is a bit smaller than some of the other locations but the staff are great and would highly recommend stopping in for a pint and some wings if you get the chance. Parking: Ample parking in the back if the front lot is full.

Atmosphere was great and the food was outstanding. And the customer service perfect!

Celebrated a birthday here, one of our party had a gluten and dairy allergy, they were able to accommodate this.

Love the Tuesday wing nights (85 cent wings) ! The beers are always cold and the service is swift. Great place to hang out to catch à game or just to hang out if you dislike rowdy crowds.

Meeting friends for dinner and looked at menu. Always looking for high quality food at fair prices. Choices and pictures were impressive. Old and run down restaurant. Needs a facelift. Bruschetta was a piece of bread with a little bruschetta on it. Took one bite and put it down. Burgers were average, two very thin patties and french fries were tasteless. Was really looking forward to going to location in Whitby but will now pass on this restaurant. Too bad.

Really enjoyed my lunch time here. My server/bartender Carmen made the experience wonderful and fun. She has a great sense of humour and knew when to serve me. Burger was ok ,Beer was cold and refreshing , Vibe was good . Lots of TVs for sports watching and enjoy the free wifi.

Sport pub, big screens nicely distributed all over the place, the food is good, they have special on Thursdays, unfortunately the staff are not friendly, we order many times but they didn t bother to take the empty dishes and glasses.

I have to say, I was not impressed with this place. However, I d also add in this case to not actually write this place off on account of this review of mine (although I doubt if anyone would. Still I feel I should mention this). Anyway, to be fair my friend and I only ordered chicken wings and beer so really can t comment on the quality of the entire menu. I was not a fan of the wings. It was too hard for my liking and lacked that soft texture that I look for and crave for. I wouldn t say there is abundance of parking right in front of this joint. Maybe I d use the word adequate albeit cautiously. I ordered Corona for my beer and the first pint was a rather small bottle, but the second pint I ordered of the same beer, ended up being in a rather long bottle. Perhaps physics might prove that the quantity/volume I got from both the bottles are same. However it doesn t help the optics. The fries we ordered were rather too soggy for my taste and liking so overall I d give a 4 stars for parking and 2 stars for food. Now for me service is as important as quality of food. I can t live with a substandard service and good food and vice versa. The girl who seated us, we asked her what beer you have on tap and she right away pointed to a wall about 8 feet away from us( from the way I remember the place) and asked us to read the black board on which was scribbled the name of the beers available that day. That was rather shocking and unpleasant as she sounded more like commanding us to read it which was not legible anyways instead of just telling us. However the girl who really served us was very patient and very pleasant and I really have to commend her for her patience. The place seems very cozy and was filled with typical working class crowd and family. There was a birthday celebration of a little girl two tables across ours and lot of people seems like are regular patrons of the place from the looks of it. I for some reason couldn t connect with the place primarily due to the first impression of the quality of food and service and the vibe of the location that this joint is located in. But if anyone else has visited this place and have a different or similar experience, please do share and I d appreciate that. Cheers.

Found the burgers dry and lacking toppings, over priced for what we got.

Food was great and the beer was ice cold. We will be back to watch the leafs on Monday

We ordered 1.5 pound of chicken wings each with different dry spice rubs. We got plain wings with no dry rub, no seasoning at all, no taste at all, dry as heck. I ordered suicide dipping sauce on the side and got franks red hot sauce with a couple chilli flakes sprinkled through. Taste like pure vinegar. Fries were mush. Would never eat here again.

Food was good, and they have combo deals depending on the day/game on. Like 1lb wings and a pinte for 15$, also ordered coconut shrimp amazing. Plenty of screen to not miss a screen

It was great having some time on the patio and had some great food! Janine was a great waitress and made sure everyone was taken care of. Would return! We had the beef dip, California wrap, and chicken tenders were all great!

Most of my party thought the pub was closed when they arrived. If it wasnt for the welcoming staff I would have bolted right back out the door. Every head slowly turned when I walked in. I thought I had walked in on a Klan meeting. Our group was mixture of all kinds so I was a little worried, but as I said the staff was good. This location would be great to watch sporting events, they have several TVs and a huge TV wall. The food was ok, the drinks were a little watered down.

Been coming here since I was 19. The wings hands down are the best. Better than Duffs or any of the quote on quote amazing wings in Toronto . That being said bring back the original wedges and dill dip and lose the mediocre fries and dill dip that doesn t taste like anything.

Food portions became stingy. I remember before covid it was a good restaurant. Now things went down hill.

Great place for wings. Amazing selection and flavors. Also the best nachos Ive ever had anywhere. Overall the food is fantastic and so is the service. The atmosphere of the restaurant is the one thing that doesnt quite live up as its somewhat boring.

Amazing food, specially their vegan burger was the best and it was recommended by Nicole. The cheesecake was fantastic as well!

Lots of great food here thats EXTREMELY VEGGIE friendly. I find it so difficult to eat and drink at pubs because the variety of food is quite limited to mostly burgers etc. Nice to see different options. I would say its not as updated interior and less people around overall. This place is very cozy and tbh if you want to not be disturbed and just have a nice drink and grub. This is your go to place.

Dirty filthy! I sat in my car waiting for my food when I look over to see the MANAGER of this restaurant in his car beside me PICKING HIS NOSE AND EATING IT!!! How disgusting!!!! I drove off without my food. NO THANKS!!!

The food was alright, I ordered the the poke bowl and it wasn t my favourite but their burgers are great. Overall just a chill place to have an evening drink with friends.

I come here at least once a week. The serving staff feel like friends, and were always so happy to come here for great drinks and great food. I think Ive tried the entire menu at this point, and its all too notch. Highly recommend the pastrami sandwich with a cold beer! Parking: Parking can be bad, its a small lot. But after the daycare closes you can park at the back of the building with no issues. Kid-friendliness: Its a pub, so your mileage may vary. But the staff are great with kids and the childrens menu seems pretty nice!

Wife and I were there a week ago for lunch. Unfortunately we didn t have a great experience. Manly my wife lunch! I ordered a pizza and was quite happy with it as it was quite tasty. My wife ordered wings that came with fries. Fries arrived cold, waitress offered to replace them so we did. She just brought the new fries but offered no apologies, Wings were pretty bad, wife ordered 1.5 pounds and I was to have a few. Wings looked to be dried up and not very meaty . They also looked to have been refried just to heat them up resulting in further shrinkage. I could only eat 1 and my wife who is a great wing lover just had a few. We didn t mention about the state of the wing order as we had to get on with our day. Perhaps we should have but it would have lessened our day. I probably would have given 1 star but gave 2 as I did thoroughly enjoy my pizza.

My favourite local restaurant/pub. Great to watch a game, or dinner with the family (kids included). The waitstaff are all lovely. Shout out to Janine who knows my drink when I walk in the door. John the manager/owner is also very nice. Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu.

The BEST chicken wings that I have ever had!! Spicy bbq is our fav. You need to try this place! Hidden gem!

75 cent wings is hard to beat!

My brother and I dropped in after a round of golf looking for a later meal. We have never been here before but was so pleased we happened to find this gem. The beer, food and service were all excellent and we had a most pleasant time on their patio. Of special note is the outstanding service and care we received from our server Samantha and the chef Tim. I had identified a dietary need and they both spoke to me in person to suggest options that would meet my needs. They both went well beyond the call of duty and I wanted to thank them again. Really hoping you two are working next time I drop by again. Thank You again for a positive experience.

If you want to support local and just have an all around great time this is your new favorite spot We brought the kids and amazingly they have iPads with a bunch of games so mom and dad can eat in peace Great bar food at a great price. This is our new family spot by day and party spot by night

Great food and Im very picky.

It was nice to dine in for the first time in a long time. Bollicks is known for their wings, and my bf enjoyed his GarPar wings. I ordered the Basil Chicken Linguine with a Somersby and it did not disappoint. Sorry, no pics...we were hungry!

Only served double burgers and didnt have orange pekoe tea. Had fish and chips instead and was very good.

Went to pub last night party of4 as usual the food was amazing nd service was the same however at 1015 we were told we had to i eave had not finished our drinks correct me if I am wrong but sign on front door says open till 11pm as does your website was not informed as to last call for drinks very disappointing ending to a great night still gave 4 stars

In the days of restaurants posting black lives matter this is the most racist place i have ever been they told me an my black friends we could not stay an eat because one of them did not have id.. mine you we were not drinking we were dining an they still said we had to leave... this has never happen to me before never felt that type of racism before was in shock came to eat food but due to the color of their skin the manager kicked us out I will be seek legal action.

Optimum food quality. Everything on the menu is executed extremely well. Plenty of TVs so great for catching the game. Always good service so long as youre not a dink. Ive worked in the industry for over 12 years & this is one of my go-to restaurants on days off, usually my top choice tbh.

Busy, busy, once the hockey game started. Excellent service, tasty beer and decent wings. What more do you want on a Saturday night? Always a great place to go for a bite.

We order from this restaturant and were so impressed with the food we got. It was tasty and well put together. However, we have ordered 2 more times through Skip and my order gets canceled. When it happened the first time the order just never got completed. The second time (last night) the driver went to the restaurant and the food wasnt prepared. So frustration when you wait an hour only to find out nothing is coming and you need to figure something else out for your family for dinner at 8pm!!!! I think you guys have good food but you need to work on your organization. We wont be back to this restaturant:(

First time coming here but the lady at the door seemed unsure if she should give us a table or not.. first she asked how many? I said 3.. then she asked whats the duration? I said not sure.. hour or two? She asked, under what name?? I said walk in.. she said ummm (looked at me) then after looking around ( some table free and a number of people leaving.. no one is standing waiting..)she said, we have reservation..so then I asked,do you need reservation to come in.. she said no, we can do walk in.. so I asked can I wait?? Then she said.. no were full!! I mean make up your mind.. I understand if yourr at capacity but be clear.. so next time we come I know what to expect.. dont look at me and then decide if you should let us sit or not and based on how we look. Bad experience!
