A cozy Inn. Right on the harbour, our room looked out to the harbour side Very comfortable, reasonably priced. A shirt walk to the main street, with many restaurants and pubs you choose from. We will come to stay again . Rooms: We had 2 Queen beds. Very comfortable Walkability: A short walk to restaurants.

Location was perfect near Picton main st. The rooms were clean and updated. The view from the 2nd floor was really nice.

Great rooms with a view, with easy parking. Really worth staying here. Close to the high Street. Only downsides are very soft beds and not enough toiletries in the bathroom, worth bringing your own shampoo etc.

We have gone there many a times for the past twenty five years and love not only the great food but the staff (including cooking staff) are friendly and both hospitable. P.S. Its worth the wait.

The rooms are in really good shape with a small fridge and microwave. Parking was right outside our room and we had a lovely view of the harbour. There was a coffee maker which doubled as a tea pot. It was also great that its pet friendly.

I feel lucky to have found such a gem! I came here for a weekend getaway with my girlfriends and couldn t have asked for a better experience. The view of the harbour was beautiful, the rooms were very clean, there were lots of towels, toiletries and even make up cleaning wipes (they definitely knew their audience lol). Check in process was seamless and front desk staff was very friendly. We asked for wine glasses and they brought it to our room within minutes. The location is also very convenient. Just down the street is downtown Picton with a variety of shops and restaurants. For the price we paid, I feel like we got such good value for our money and looking forward to coming back!

10/10 recommend. My friend and I did an overnight road trip. Beautiful view by the water. Super cool and easy check in and check out process. You don t even have to go to a desk, you just go straight to your room. Would stay again!

The harbour is nice but the room was not the greatest. There was a big gap between the door and the frame. You can see a lot light through the gap, makes for a good draft. The rooms was pretty clean but you can see dust and and some mould in the bathroom by the baseboard. We only had a 1 night stay so you live with it.

We had breakfast here today and it was so good. The location is beautiful by the harbour and staff are so welcoming and the service was quick. The farmers sausage was recommended and it lived up to the hype. It was juicy, delicious and its pairing with sunny side up eggs made it even better. We are planned to return to Picton in May and plan on being back. Anyone stopping through should try this place you won t regret it. The historical newspapers on the wall add to the towns history dating back to 1860. Can t wait to return.

The Picton Harbour Inn was a gem of a home away from home for the 15 members of my family. The value for money was superb with its clean and well supplied rooms/suite, but this was only the beginning. Ever polite staff and management went out of their way to welcome and accommodate us. Stephanie and Uta responded to our many questions, helping us problem solve as needed to support our event, while Jerrys kind help with a special request was generous!! The Inn is well situated in beautiful Picton, and the view of the Harbour has us all wanting to return in summer. My sincere thanks to the whole PHI team for their kind, professional service. What a beautiful place, so breath taking and everything a girl could ever ask for on her wedding night

My rating is for the restaurant. Stopped in on a Sunday for brunch. The Harbor inn restaurant has a wonderful menu great food and great service. We loved the breakfast poutine and eggs Benedict. Well definitely be going back to try the lunch/ dinner menu real soon. You wont be disappointed.

Restaurant service was very good. Our suite was no-contact (dialpad entry), so there was no human to check us in. Location is great. Nearby activities: Harbor is right there, if you go in the summer and fish. Lots of restaurants, bars, and a cocktail lounge. I went in the winter, but I did go to the cocktail lounge and it was a wonderful, unique place.

Everything was perfect, well almost. We didnt have any hot water, but we didnt advise management either as we were leaving early. The price of the room was a great value compared to anywhere else in the surrounding area, plus breakfast was exceptional and inexpensive. Will return visit for sure. Thanks.

Good little hotel in the heart of Picton. Lots of parking with a great restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Rooms are basic but good value for the price. Everything is walking distance to downtown Picton and all its shops and restaurants. Good water pressure in the shower and rooms are quiet from any road noise. Hotel has slips for boaters as well with a shaded BBQ area and tables for each slip.

Very nice room and location. Newly refurbished.Large suite with microwave, fridge/freezer and pullout bed/ couch. Room is over the kitchen area so sorry me door opening below at 6 30 am or so, but only two rooms off the hallway so very quiet otherwise.

Enjoyed my stay here a lot. Called last minute at the start of a long weekend. I called and left a message. 5 minutes later, i got a call back. The reservations person could not have been kinder. Newly renovated. Clean and efficient. Room with a view on the marina. Very centrally located. Right in the thick of things. On-site parking. If I had to critique, I d say they need better wifi service. Especially for us city folk, still needing to get work done on a long weekend!

My wife, son and I stayed at the Inn from June 18-20, 2023. We stayed in the Aletha suite. It was well equipped with a full size fridge and stove and dishes for 4 people. 3 window mount air conditioners kept the entire space at a great temperature as it got warm outside. The washroom had 2 pocket doors, one separating an area with two vanities from the shower and toilet and one toward the main hallway. The shower is large and has great pressure. A large bedroom housed 2 queen beds and another one king bed. All beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. We had breakfast both mornings in the Lighthouse restaurant downstairs. The food was very good and priced fairly. It only served breakfast and lunch but there are many great restaurants within a short walk or drive. The only reason that I gave the Inn a 4 star rating was that everywhere you go in the Inn is up and down stairs, so if you have mobility challenges getting around could be difficult. If you use a walker or wheelchair only the ground floor units are accessible and restaurant access is possible by going around to the front door. Our unit was very comfortable with a great view of the harbour from the balcony. We will stay here again.

This is the second year in a row that we are going there for the St-Jean fds. We go there because its close to the Sand Banks about 20 minutes by car. Small charming hotel renovated rooms good service. The restaurant for lunch is very good, excellent menu choice and affordable prices. The hotel is located in a beautiful little village with many restaurants and shops. I recommend it to you

Avoid room 208. I debated leaving this review, but feel there needs to be some transparency from the inn when booking guests to stay in room 208. My husband and I stayed here last weekend for a wedding and were reserved accommodations at the inn. Originally the bride had arranged for us to be in a water front room, but upon reservation we were told we were in a street view room. As this wasn t a deciding factor for us, we still opted for the street view room that was given to us. Upon arrival and speaking with the other wedding guests, it had come to our attention that our accommodations were not comparable to those of others, even though the cost of the rooms were the same. ($467 for the weekend) We were in a room located behind the stairs beside a high-traffic area of the parking lot, with vehicles and pedestrians passing by our window at all hours. During our stay, we were unable to open our curtains due to the lack of privacy. We were placed in a small room with no closet and one double bed for both my husband and I, while other guests were in much larger rooms with two double beds and ample closet space. Our dissatisfaction grew as the weekend went on as we feel the cost of our stay was in no way comparable to those who were given larger rooms, extra beds, closet space, as well as a balcony while we were tucked away under a staircase in what felt like a make-shift room for guests from a utility closet. Although we did thoroughly enjoy the town and the contactless check-in/check-out option, the room itself was extremely disappointing. Upon check-out, I informed the inn of our disappointment and the lack of transparency when it came to being booked in this specific room. Although they did apologize, the issue was never rectified as we were given the runaround of excuses and told we should have asked during our reservation to be placed in another room. Since we had never stayed at the inn before, we were unaware that we would be in such a room, therefore did not ask to be moved. Due to the lack of customer care and the inadequate room that we were placed in for the weekend, this is definitely not a place we would consider staying again. Unfortunately the other rooms were beautiful and would have justified the cost for the weekend, but if we ever return to Picton, we will choose our accommodations elsewhere.

I recommend it to you. Very cute for a stay in Sandbanks (20 min). Everything is nearby and the city center is a 5-minute walk away. Excellent choice!

Beautiful location , clean spacious rooms and with your own mini fridge and coffee maker . A little pricey but you are right in the center of Picton. Bonus a quaint restaurant on the premises . Nearby activities: Close to all good restaurants in town . Walkability: Leave the car in the lot and walk to most shops and restaurants. Noteworthy details: Great WiFi.

A quick overnight stay while visiting family. We didnt need to visit a check in desk to get a key, we got a code to the room in email all ahead of time. The building is older but the rooms are nicely furnished. We havent checked out the breakfast yet but apparently it is legendary...

It was one of the best and most pleasant stay. We enjoyed the nice clean and comfy beds. Super nice staff members. We would definitely go back to stay and visit the staff. Decent amenities, however, they provide the cheapest possible TV s that only have an off switch, and remotes that purposefully do the absolute bare minimum. Can t even change the source to HDMI to connect a laptop or a switch, just kind of soured the night and am very disappointed in the aggressive approach to the bottom line.

We are frequent visitors to the restaurant. Consistent good food and service but sometimes feel we are being rushed out.

Loved the contactless check in process. The room has been updated so it does not feel like and old roadside motel. Of anything, the only downside was we didn t know how popular the attached restaurant was. Too busy to get a table, but that s not their fault lol. The TV picture was a little washed out, but we don t travel for the tv so it was no bother. Rooms: Updated and clean! Nearby activities: We ate and shopped at the little stores on Main Street. Walkability: This motel is just off the main strip. Easy to walk. A slight hill may not be great for people with mobility issues.

Nice hotel with picturesque view. Check in was fast and room was nice and clean. Has a couple minor issues which were addressed immediately. Didn t interact with staff other than on the phone but they were very pleasant and professional. On site restaurant was closed when we were there but have eaten there before and had always been good. Will book this hotel again.

The hotel is incredibly nice, the rooms are very clean, the check-in and checkout process is easy, and the staff are very pleasant to interact with. The hotel loses a star for the following reasons The internet is not good. Its bad enough to the point where any live stream or facetime video gets frequently interpreted/ dropped. The heater in my room was loud enough to warrant turning off overnight The tv has very poor reception Despite this Id stay here again.

We stayed here for a quick getaway and it was the perfect place. Located right on Picton Harbor with picnic tables by the water to enjoy dinner at. The location is perfect for shopping on main street as its only a 2 minute walk. The rooms were clean and updated nicely. The Alexandria Suite we stayed in had everything we needed and lots of space even with kids. We had a kettle, toaster, utensils, kitchen sink, microwave, and electric cooktop. Highly recommend the Picton Harbour Inn if you are traveling to the area

Excellent service and reasonable prices

Its a good hotel. Nothing fancy, the rooms are pretty modern. Its in a good location, the main street is within a couple of minutes walk which has many restaurants, and shops. Minus a point for a couple of things. The wi-fi is pretty spotty, it kept disconnecting and not very fast, and secondly the walls are quite thin, so youll likely hear the occupant next door.

We came with 4 adults and 2 young children to a very busy morning breakfast time. The staff was super friendly, no problem, we can get you all in . Food was homestyle and delicious. Servers even brought the kids little plastic fireman s hats! I would recommend this restaurant.

The position of this Inn is great and some rooms have a nice view of the little harbour. Picton is a small town. Rooms have every amenities you need plus a coffee stand.

Beautiful clean and well maintained rooms, topped off by one of the most amazing showers Ive ever had - I know that sounds weird but the pressure is great, its like a waterfall and after a long day of driving it rejuvenated my soul. The Inn is literally as the name says, on the harbour, allowing you beautiful views from your room and just outside your door. Spent 2 nights and we were very happy with the room and the staff was accommodating with making the door entrance accessible.

We had a wonderful one night visit. Booked this extra night in Picton on a whim and this gem did not disappoint. From the efficient email confirmation and welcome info with room key info, to the warm and helpful reception. This place is worth the visit. We were greeted and assisted by the lovely and charming Katie who made us feel like family as soon as we walked in. She is here to ensure you have a wonderful visit and has such a lovely spirit about her - she really is in the right profession. Part of this five star review is for her wonderful service. We stayed on the lower level - The rooms have been updated and were very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are accessible and newly updated. The inn was hosting many bridal parties but the noise level was never too much and it was quiet all night up even into the morning. The adjacent picnic tables were a nice option to have your morning coffee by the water and take in the sights. Having a restaurant right next to the inn is also really convenient and again, wonderful service and food. We will be returning to this wonderful location soon! Thanks for a great visit Katie!

An amazing experience. From initial booking direct ( as online was messed.up) . our contact was a wonderful lady. Sooooo helpful. Checking in / out so easy and contactless however staff we encountered were so very very helpful and cheery. Our room 203 ? Immaculate ...and what a view of the harbour... Cant wait to return to this beautiful area of Ontatio...

This was the best place to stay! I went on a mini-trip to Prince Edward County mid-week and stayed here. The location is great, with only a two minute walk to the town for restaurants and shops (and ice cream!), and the view of the harbour is so lovely! The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were extremely friendly. The Lighthouse Restaurant at the Inn has the absolute best breakfast and best service! Will definitely return here for future stays!

Super place to stay on our one night getaway! Clean and practical room. Shower was good and the bed was super comfortable. Pretty to look at from the outside too with all kinds of flowers outside! Outside our door we could walk to a little picnic table area to watch the boats coming and going. Will definitely return.

Our lunch here was amazinggg! We had breakfast poutines and they were even better than I imagined, lol. Its been a long time since we ate that much food in one sitting but my bf and I couldnt stop eating. We were STUFFED for hours; so maybe just plan on not moving the rest of the day afterwards.

This place was so nice to stay at! Very clean, friendly and the staff is AMAZING! When I forgot something and I live out of town they offered to mail it to me. When I gave my address it just happened the woman I was talking to was headed my way and offered to personally drop it off! What better customer service is that! Nice clean hotel in the centre of Picton. Walls are a tad thin so you may hear kids doing kid stuff.

Beautiful Inn right on the water. The views of the harbour both morning and night are gorgeous. 1 Queen room is spacious with a pull out couch for an extra person and a large bathroom. Self check in was super convenient. The restaurant attached to the Inn has a delicious breakfast.

I find this jewel IN EXTREMIST and was lucky enough to get a room...the receptionist was awesome, the shower and the BED were delectable and the morning walk on the harbour...magnificent

I did not need a room at the Inn, given my parents and sister live here in Picton, however the breakfast was excellent both times I went. Try the breakfast poutine. I highly recommend it and this Restaurant!!!

My family and I stay in room 113. The room was very clean and the beds are amazing. The staff very friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious. I have been to many places in the world ... But far the most aggressive shower .... spent tons of time taking showers. By far the highlight of the trip haha. Overall a great/amazing experience. Many blessings to the PHI staff.

We had a great view from our bedroom but the air conditioning is not the best, it is super loud. The blankets are not very comfortable, however the location is just superb.

Staff was excellent, location was great but rooms were not clean, floor was sticky and dirty, cob webs and spiders in every corner of the room, my cup in the restaurant had lipstick on it!

The view from the hotel room is spectacular , unbeatable , bed is very comfy , staff are all very helpful and happy. The room was very clean , the only one thing I dont like is the AC , it was very noisy , i had to turn it off and set it to auto , but then I felt hot without it , I left the balcony door opened. Overall , great nights spent there.

Perfect location right on the water, at the start of downtown Picton. Great room, modern with potlights, fridge/microwave ...the map of Prince Edward County on the wall was pretty cool. Room was clean, bright and fresh, towels and bedding were very soft.

Ideally located in the heart of Picton, literally walking distance to most venues. The on site restaurant has a nice selection of menu items for breakfast and lunch. The rooms all have beautiful views of the harbour. Mornings have the sun coming into the bay while in the evenings, the lights around the fishing boats are serene. The rooms are spacious and large bathrooms. A special treat (in our room anyways) was a full wall size mural/map of Prince Edward County.

What a great place to stay, the food at the onsite restaurant is excellent, it is well situated in downtown Picton, free parking, view of the harbour and staff that go above & beyond to provide excellent service. The staff all maintain the warm cordiality of Prince Edward County. The covid measures were sufficient for me, with contactless check-in & out and reduced housekeeping & laundry service. The code for the room & relevant information was provided in a timely manner by email. I hope to return soon.

Cobb salad was delicious. Bees are a little annoying at the patio but otherwise all good. Great staff!

Myself and my Daughter stayed at the Harbour Inn for two nights in the fall. Since we ve stayed in many tourist Ontario towns before we really enjoyed our four days in PEC! The harbour view day or night from our room window & balcony was gorgeous. And sitting at the picnic tables for breakfast was stunning on a sunny cool day. For the price in the fall during covid I found it very pricy for the rooms. I did not think that the rooms qualified for the price. They didn t feel like a five star, a bit outdated. Although the bed was very comfy and the linens were excellent. The bathroom was not bad you could see it had a renovation there was no problem with hot water and the hotel was packed. We ordered breakfast to our room it did take very long and the food was not very warm. All in all I would still go back. I know that during covid the hotel does there best to provide good service. The staff in the restaurant when picking up our order was very friendly. TV could use a movie channel for the nights that are cold and rainy...Still giving it four star perhaps just a few items to make it more worth the $$$

Great location and value for money! Our room (2 queen beds) was a motel style room on the ground floor. The mattress was comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Room had a mini fridge and microwave so we could prepare warm snacks/take home leftovers from meals out. Wifi worked well (we werent streaming videos or anything but didnt have trouble getting connected). TV had basic channels. Blackout curtains made the room very dark when sleeping. The only minor issue/suggestion I have for the owners-- the pillows are very fluffy and comfortable, but I like having a thinner pillow. It would be nice to have a bit more pillow variety in the rooms, as sleeping on a thick pillow sometimes leaves me with a sore neck. For the price, Picton Harbor Inn was a fantastic place to stay and I would absolutely stay there again.

Really cute place and I liked the easy, contactless check-in. The walls are paper thin and we could clearly hear the people in the next room, so we paid a little extra and got a different room with no neighbours. It felt a lot better. If that kind of noise bothers you or youre a private person, thats something to keep in mind. Otherwise, the room was nice and the view was pretty.

Great value. Very comfy beds. Very clean. Exceeded all expectations.

The view is absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed our stay. However you can tell some interesting things take place here occasionally which came as a surprise as we didnt know that sort of thing existed in Picton area.

Beautiful Rooms, delicious fairly priced breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff :) wish stayed there longer!
