We actually did the wine tasting and vinegar tasting at Black Prince Winery behind the pizza house. Very knowledgeable and entertaining sommelier. If youve made it to Picton this is 2 minutes away.

The barrel house pizza I tried while visiting the winery was very delicious. The pizza dough was chewy and crispy. The caramelized onion was also delicious. I think the price is reasonable. It was a happy day as I filmed a video of the pizza making process with the friendly owner, Brody. I think Ill eat there again if I go to Prince Edward County.

The pizza was good. For the price I would have expected a substantially nicer venue and to have it served on plates with cutlery. Zero ambience in the indoor dining. Salad was not very good.

Nice location as it is paired with the vineyard. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the scenery. The pizza was ok. It had great flavour but the crust was very thin.

Had a craving for some wood oven pizza after seeing so many signs across PEC. Pizza was fresh and good. Place was not busy as we stopped on a rainy day. Sitting outside was not recommended as there were too many wasps. But end of summer tends to attract them. They have a bunch of other activities on the grounds and many products like wine vinegar and oils.

Amazing Pizzaria connected to a very rustic looking winery. The staff are friendly, and during slow days the chefs will come and give you the pizza them selfs which is neat as they are very experienced with what they do! Their pizza dough is made by hand. They use the winerys vinegars in allot of their item like the Peach in their onions, black currant in their mushrooms and they even have a ceasar thry use in their dips that you can request on your pizza instead of their handmade tomato sauce. Ive been here so many times and no complaints other then maybe slightly more customizations but their usually willing to work with yah if its not super busy, and even then they usuallyhave no issues with it. I wish they Had green olive tho haha. Keep up the good work and amazing service!!! We were really disappointed maybe because it was a Monday night? I dont know. But we found our pizza to be super mediocre, especially for close to $25 per 12. I expected better because it was wood fired. oh well

Casual dining, order, and pickup. Lovely picnic tables and wine grove to enjoy your fantastic pizza in. Never would have ordered the BBQd chicken pizza, but it was amazing! The BBQ sauce was excellent!

Visited in October 2023. We were glad to stumble upon this place, which is located in between Bloomfield and Picton. The pizza is great - we got the Amatriciana. One pizza was perfect to share between two people. The atmosphere is very casual, and although the inside was very plain, the outside looked like it would be a great atmosphere for dinner on a warmer day. Parking: Extra parking behind building.

Amazing pizza! We got the Meatlovers and the Aloha. Crust is nice and light. Seriously one of the best pizzas we have ever had!

The pizza here was tip-top and definitely a highlight of our wine tour! Made to order and fired in their woodstove while you wait. My only regret was only trying two of the pizzas they make - the Aloha will be the first on my list when I come back. Friendly service in an unpretentious location with a great patio and a winery within steps of where youre eating.

I came here on victoria day. The pizza here were amazing. I ordered the margarita pizza. The staffs were very friendly and kind. Definitely a must visit place with good outdoor seatings. Would definitely coming back for the pizza

Wow absolutely amazing, been driving past this place the last couple months and decided to go in today. Man I should of pulled in the first time I saw it. Their pizza is the best pizza Ive had in a long time. My husband has never had a wood fire pizza and now he will never go back to a take out store. We are going to be comming back here at least 1 or twice a week for sure. How can we not as our office is right next door.... you now have regular customers as you have become one of our top favorite places to eat at...... and were not pizza people, but dam so delicious...........

This week-end I visited Barrel House Pizza which is located in the heart of Prince Edward County. That was definitely one of the best pizzas I ever tried! (Thank you chef Evan)! I was impressed with care and attention that was given to us by our host Oliver! He made sure that we have everything we need. Love the @countycider - I chose to try Shiny and it was as expected - dry, with à little candy finish. The place itself is very authentic! Do not expect to see fancy & modern details. A group of us ended up at the Black Prince Winery for some sampling yesterday, and tried the wood-fired pizza from the Barrel House Pizza restaurant that is onsite. Fantastic pizza, excellent wine, an amazing time! I definitely recommend this place to anyone touring around Prince Edward County!

What a nice place!! Pizza was very good for the Price(average 20-25$). Black Prince vinery on the same spot Its two for one. The staff is ok but they are not good with people, they need a bit of vibe with customer they are stiff (visiting the place August 27). But the place have a lot of potentiel.

Talk about a good pizza, I thought this was going to be just another one of those winery pizza ovens... Boy was I wrong. These guys invoked the pizza outta the park! The sauce! The crust! Everything really came together inside of my mouth and let me tell you, you can bet your bottom that there was a party in there. 14/14 will be back
