Very over priced for the portion sizing nothing that couldnt be made at home to be honest 28 dollars for a chicken burger that was smaller than the palm of my hand and tasted just like KFC with some half decent lettuce

While passing through we stopped for lunch and it was just perfect! A great welcome, we tasted our first poutine which was very good and for dessert we took takeaway which we ate on the road without knowing what it was and it was a delight Really go there you wont be disappointed

The Birdwich is really delicious and Zippity do da wrap was fabulous. It is also nice that the carry the County Cidre beverages. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to the main door.

One word to describe this, Skimpy for the price. Would never return. Expensive for little!

Have been stopping here on our way to Sandbanks every year, for past 8 years, and it is always great food, great service, well priced, awesome patio and located across the street from great park for littles and a fantastic skateboard park. very rude and unprofessional service, went in and asked for a table for 5 and was told i m not cleaning a table for you, we re under staffed. she said rudely that we would need to order take out and then leave and eat outside near the parking lot. only about a third of the tables in the restaurant were full. as paying customers who drove over an hour to come here it was a let down to be treated as if we were a burden, instead of people who chose to be there over anywhere else. the food is very good but the bad service weighed so heavily on the experience, it ruined it. for take out, you are also charged with a packaging fee what?? lol

LITERALLY out of rorisserie chicken. We drove 20 minutes each way and they didnt have chicken.

Ordered a rotisserie bird. They placed the cut up pieces in a carton and sealed it, very nicely I might add. But neglected to include the chicken breast.

The food here is mediocre. The problem is that the humans running it are not nice at all! Actually not nice humans at all!!!!

My mom and I came here for lunch during our visit to Picton. I had a quarter chicken with fries along with Big Bird Punch and coleslaw. Everything was delicious. A small cute little restaurant that feels welcoming. Great food and great service.

After spending $200 and being a party of 9 I would definitely not go back. When we first arrived I didn t understand the weird stares. She proceeded to sit us down but didn t even have the courtesy to put some tables together so we can all sit as a group. Not only was the food bland but we received bacon in the burger when we had specifically asked for no bacon. One of the garden salad sides to the wrap had completely rotten greens. After we complained she says oh no . I would tell everyone reading this to go spend your money elsewhere. You ll probably get better food & service at kfc just a couple of mins away.

We had a great diner with really good food. The price was reasonable and good value so if you love chicken youll love this. Wed definitely go back.

Food was certainly serviceable. Poutine side was small and I was surprised that the wrap was served cold. Service was good and very attentive. Overall, found it very expensive for what I got in return.

What a delicious chicken spot! We saw an ad for this place while driving around Picton and we were very happy we decided to order take out here. We had the half chicken (two legs), a cordon bleu sandwich, and a chicken pot pie. Everything was delicious. My partner described the pot pie as so wholesome. I strongly recommend one of the chicken dinners as the rotisserie chicken is just so juicy and tasty. Cant wait to come back!

Took my Dad for belated b-day dinner. He had the half chicken meal & I had a wrap with curry & pineapple it was so delicious!

I saw the angry birds getting scared to be rotisseried and the pigs were behind me laughing at them and the red one was my favorite so juicy and tender who knew angry birds can be so delicious would eat again 5 stars (btw where do you get the birds?) The picture below was there merch I Loved it

Excellent food. Absolutely no complaints about the food or atmosphere or building. The waitress however, is different. Friendly yes, but not efficient. Brought menus right away. Then we watched other people arrive and she took their orders before us. After 20 minutes, finally came to take order with apologies for taking so long. Food arrived promptly. I asked for water, which again took 20 minutes to arrive as I watched our waitress talking to a friend (OR ANOTHER SERVER, NOT SURE AS SHE DID A FEW THINGS) at the bar. Finally got water with another apology for forgetting. Brought the bill with water without asking about dessert. I dont normally complain, and if the restaurant is busy I understand, but watching the waitress talking to a friend at the bar while customers wait for service is not acceptable.

Good service and food is tasty but the portion sizes are much smaller than youd typically get in a restaurant. Twice now Ive had to go find more food after my meal and I have ordered what Id get in another chicken restaurant.

Stopped here a night after fishing last summer, the staff were super friendly and the food was amazing! We got chicken wings and nachos. The Caesar s were one of the best my boyfriend has ever tried! Highly recommend going here!!

Stopped here for lunch. Had tasty chicken and fries, similar to Swiss Chalet, but at an independent restaurant. I loved the decor, and the owner was friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere.

It was my frist time there and My only complaint is dont get the birdwich I didnt like it at all it said it had Chipotle sauce in the Shredded chicken but it tasted like curry thats all I tasted and then with coleslaw on it who ever made that has no taste sorry to say. so Im like ok i want to get something different so I tried the chicken wrap with pineapple and I also didnt like it cause it tasted like curry I will give place another try but i will only get the quarter chicken

Ordered take out. Pineapple chicken wrap and the chicken and waffles. My husband said the wrap was bland and my waffles were like eating dry two day old toast not even the maple syrup could soften them up. Chicken on top of the waffles - one thigh was ok but bland and really not enough to class as a dinner. They charged a packaging fee on top that they don t warn you about and then ask for a tip. Not likely to return.

I had looked forward to this place for a couple years now after hearing so much about it. Maybe my expectations were simply too high and while the food was good, it wasnt fantastic. Got the Thunder Crunch and it was not very big and not alot different from other chicken sandwiches Ive had. The service was top notch though - friendly & quick- and its a very nice atmosphere (if you ignore the kids yelling at another table). If I lived closer Id probably go back again and try something else, but its almost an hour drive.

Stopped in tonight around 3:30 or so for take out. We got 2 pounds of wings, 1 half chicken with poutine and 1 half chicken with just fries and 2 legs. Everyone loved the food and it was delicious. We live north of Kingston by 30 minutes or so and the food was good even when we got home from Picton. Next time we will eat in for sure and I ll be by on the bike this summer I m sure! Thanks for a great meal folks.

Wonderful place to stop and eat. The wife and I had lunch it was served very quickly by a very pleasant waitress. The food was hot and delicious. Sometimes when food comes fast it can suffer on quality, but this was not the case with Angry Birds the food was perfect. Outdoor patio is lovely. Not a single complaint about this place! It was perfect!! Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly! Parking was plentiful!

It was a takeout meal. We don t have a Swiss chalet in Picton. It was almost the same.

I cant believe they ruined their Zippidy Do Da Wrap!! it used to be a chicken salad and was so tasty and lots of chicken and mayo...fav on the menu! Now lots of lettuce, a few chicken pieces, barely any onion or mayo and a few pieces of canned pineapple...such a disappointment! Thankfully the mango salad hasnt changed. I was so upset I actually called and was advised they changed it 8 months ago...dont mess with perfection please! :(

I understand why its called angry bird, I was angry when I left. Theres a packaging fee that was not disclosed to us. We were treated poorly right off the bat upon entering the restaurant. It was our first time at this place and we were looking for clarification on the menu and were sassed by the lady at the front. Not sure if they dont care about take out as the people seated at the restaurant seemed to be treated nicely. If youre looking for rotisserie chicken I suggest Swiss chalet as they already steal their sauce anyways.

Great food. Ordered chicken burger and the pulled chicken sandwich. Food was excellent. We had to wait 20 mins as they were busy. Prices are a bit steep but worth the quality. There is a childrens park with splash pad opposite.

What a great idea to pop in for dinner before the Sam Roberts Band gig at Base 31. Staff are awesome, food is great, and getting to see Delilah was a treat.

The go-to for a perfect chicken dinner in Picton, Ontario. We love it!! There are lots of goodies on the menu, not just chicken. The nachos are delicious, and dry rub chicken wings hit the spot!! Totally recommend!

7 adults and 4 children came here after a day at Picton Beach. It was around 730 pm and the initial greeting was one of inconvenience and werent sure they were going to accommodate the group. The younger brunette waitress was very sweet and started seating everyone There was a blonde haired older waitress who should just quit her job as her demeanor was clearly not a fan of a large group nearing the end of her night. The chicken is overpriced for the serving size ....not worth it. I mean 20 plus dollars for the smallest chicken thigh I have ever seen. Any parent will know sometimes kids can be kids and our 2 yr old of the group (although being watched by the full group) managed to dart back in the empty restaurant. The older blonde haired lady comes put and with disgust says you shouldnt have your child running around the restaurant is full of Glass?It could have been worded entirely different (the group was not rowdy and a child can be a child sometimez) but her miserable demeanor continued to shine through I dont see how having unsafe conditions of glass everywhere she claimed was on the floors of the restaurant should make its patrons have to be more careful due to an unsafe atmosphere. Food overpriced only one staff member was OK The older miserable blonde waitress should call it a day.

Chicken is crunchy, fries are great! Beer is cold, what more could you ask for? Gave a 4 for atmosphere because of the construction out front, but thats not their fault. Thank you for putting up those signs!

I had a very bad experience with the meal I had at Angry Chicken, the crust on the chicken was so hard I couldn t get my fork in it. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and besides being so hard to eat, it was cold. I was extremely disappointed in the meal and said so and the server said that I shouldn t say anything about my meal in front of other customers. I found that very rude. We go almost every Thursday in the spring to fall and have never been served such a terrible meal. The wasps were a big problem as the outside doors were open, and they were flying around us as we tried to eat. I was not pleased with the food, the Ice Tea was very good.

My wife and I were on our way home from Kingston and decided to get some takeout. We had been here before and we liked it. Not sure what happened in between but we were very disappointed. My wife ordered a wrap, which came with unordered bones. I thought I would be safe with a 1/4 chicken. I didnt notice anywhere on the menu anything about using mini chickens. Not a very good deal for the price.

Rotisserie chicken extremely burnt!

I went with my aunt and uncle for a day trip and I had the cheese cheter balls and they came out so warm and gooy I was soooo soooooo sooo dame good 10/10 would 1000000% love to go again

Picked up a couple of orders of chicken fingers and fries, side gravy and slaw. Generous portions and very tasty. Was still hot when I got home and I was staying 15 minutes away. Excellent food simple as that.

Nice friendly staff and decent food

We ordered the Pulled BBQ Birdwich and the Cranky Rooster Wrap with Mexican soup on the side. The soup was clearly made from scratch, nice and spicy, hearty and delicious. The rest of our order was fantastic. The perfect meal after a long day of winter hiking through the woods!

Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was awesome. I had a breaded chicken wrap and a dill and potato salad. Both were very tasty. The open sign in the window is super dim, luckily they had their hours on a sandwich board out front.

Stopped by here today from out of town. An excellent experience from start to finish. Very friendly staff. Potato and Leek soup was delicious along with the Nachos (BBQ chicken flavour), very tasty. Will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is fresh, tasty, and reasonable. The staff are kind and accommodating, Kayla has gone above and beyond on my visits. When I was vegetarian, they would give me the mango salad in a wrap, which was delish. Now that Im back to the omnivore life I am shocked at how delicious everything Ive tried on the menu is, I love the butter parmesan wings! The portions are large and generous. The food is perfectly prepared and seasoned. The kitchen is swift and well managed. The restaurant is clean with an amazing patio. The decor is fun and light-hearted. The view of the crystal palace is spectacular. The places are always filled with smiling, satisfied customers. And they even have free candies at the check out.

The food was excellent, the service couldnt have been better. Highly recommend you stop and check it out.

I always love Angry Birds! Consistency is the main word. You can always depend on the wings, regardless of style to be the same, never disappointed. Love the wings!

The service was great and we liked the outdoor patio. Quarter chicken meal for adults was very small and did not fill us and the chicken was basic in taste. The kids meals (chicken tenders/ mini pizza) we re enjoyed by our kids and they liked the Shirley temples.

Bought a whole chicken. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Was disappointed. Also opened umbrella and 10+ earwigs fell out. The staff were nice though.

Nice little place with good sized portions and tasty food. Swiss chalet style chicken and gravy. Waited longer than what we should have for our food considering other tables were served first even after we were seated. Service was lovely and attentive. While parking was available it is a little limited. Also, if you have little kids there is a large playground right across the street.

Really fun place with delicious appetizers and mains! The spice on the rotisserie chicken is unique to this restaurant, as is the dipping sauce. Thoroughly recommended!

I got the whole chicken with 2 sides, fries were ok, Ceasar salad was very good, way too much dipping sauce. Very friendly staff, quick service, but a Swiss Chalet taste clone for sure. Nice to see a restaurant that locals can afford with food they can recognize. Definitely will come back.

The chicken and chips was very nice but sitting outside at the picnic table was very hot. I liked that you could get free refills on the lemonade. I found it was very expensive too.

My family of four had different dishes. The 1/4 chicken was delicious and the fries were fresh and crispy. The salads were fresh and the crumbed chicken and one of the wraps was tasty but uninspired for the price.

If you are seeking outstanding rotisserie chicken, this is the only place to go. Extremely excellent chicken and fabulous customer service. Well done to the kitchen and counter staff while following all COVID protocols.

Great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The fries and gravy are incredible, in addition to the chicken. Lots of outdoor tables to eat at while the weather is nice. They have an app as well for ordering which makes things simple for pickup. They sponsor street luge and many community projects and events, happy to support them and you should do the same!

Friendly staff and a good place to get classic rotisserie chicken. I also got a pound of their wings which had the best sauce-maple bourbon. We also got 4 sides along with the chicken and it was all quite good! If you re in town you should try it here as it seems the locals love it too.

The staff were super friendly and attentive without making it feel like they were hovering. Had great fries and a good burger called bird s thunder crunch. Found the sweet potato fries weren t as good as the normal ones and the bbq sauce on my wife s wrap was a little too sweet.

We loved it. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. The 4 stars is because the chicken legs were a bit dry. Other than that, it was a restaurant wed return to.

I was in Prince Edward County for 5 days and this place was the best experience!! Food: Delight! Im vegetarian so had their Thai Noodle Salad (a new addition to the menu) and it was so good! The quantity of their sides is enough to fill your tummy! Service: Steacy was super friendly!!! The staff stayed for 20 minutes after the closing while our group finished our meals. I had to do this. I asked Steacy if I could give her a hug, which she gracefully accepted. It was such a nice mommy hug!! Rusty, Kayla, and the other guy (didnt get to catch his name) were super friendly as well. Guys, this is hands-down a to-do in PEC.

In town from the States to fish for the week and this restaurant was the best part or our trip! Great food and staff and our group literally ate here every day we were in Picton. A must stop and dont leave without having a Pot Pie or Fried Pie!!

I stayed in Picton for a week and this was always a very satisfying option. Always great service and great food; would recommend chicken and waffles. Be sure to also get a fresh pie if they still sell those when you read them!
