One of my favourite spots in the county! I always get the brisket poutine. The portion is so generous and delicious. And everyone is so friendly.

Amazing BBQ - must stop by if youre in the area! Tried the 3 mini sammies and the side salad (which could be a main on its own). Highly recommend!

Amazing barbecue, wood smoked meats well prepared with great sides and amazing sauces. Highly recommend for any bbq enthusiasts.

How was the food? Dunno. Drove 45 mins to get BBQ, waited in line, only to find out that (with 3 hours still to go to closing) all they have is brisket left. Yes, it is a long weekend. Yes, this is a tourist area. Maybe they should have considered that when preparing for business this weekend. Incredibly frustrating. Maybe if they had a website they could let people know to call ahead if they actually want to eat on a specific day. And no, I am not calling a restaurant 3 hours before they close to ask if they still have food available. Ridiculous. I hate giving bad reviews, but FORTY MINUTE DRIVE.

Best bbq Ive had in a long time. Ribs, brisket, smoked chicken, fries and cornbread were all delicious and had our group begging to return as soon as possible.

Absolutely delicious food!! We don t always love the summer traffic into the County but cannot wait to plan our next trip down to Hendricks BBQ!! We shared the 3 meat, 2 side combo. Brisket - so tender and full of flavour! Ribs - smoked to perfection!! The bbq sauce was incredible! Pulled Pork - so good!! Would like to try a pulled pork sandwich next time! Coleslaw- very tasty and not overloaded with sauce, just the perfect amount of flavour. Fries - Incredible!!! Seriously so good! We got ours with a side of gravy and we could have drank it the gravy was so good!! Overall wonderful time! Nice quiet little spot with picnic tables and umbrellas. Also has two porta potties that flushed and had sinks with soap to wash hands.

I finally stopped in for some Hendriks BBQ today. We had Annies platter, It was incredible. The ribs were particularly perfect. The rest of the meats on the platter were excellent as well. We got to try a slice of Brisket as a bonus and it was the melt in your mouth style I have only experienced in the south. Lastly, I dont believe it is on the menu, but a feature desert of the day was a peach bread pudding, As you can imagine from the rest of our experience this was incredible as well. Well done Mark, we will be back very soon!

An amazing dynamic duo of the nicest mom and son I ve ever seen. Service with a smile makes the food that much better. Everything fresh and delicious. Stellar ribs and wing special. Sauces and dips were on point. Will be Supporting this business many more times to come.

Food is incredibly flavourful and hot. People are friendly and helpful. Their croquttes and Mac and cheese balls are unbelievable! You have to try it! Kid-friendliness: Picnic tables and green space to play

Cannot say enough good things or recommend Hendricks BBQ more. The food is always fresh, hot and SO tasty. The service is phenomenal. We ve had a lot of regular menu items which are amazing but the specials always blow us away as well. 10/10, 5 stars, A1.

Not the place to go for brisket or chicken, both dry. The beans and pulled pork are good.

This place is absolutely amazing! We got the 3 mini sliders the pulled pork and slaw was out of this world and their fries with garlic aioli was killer and wish he could have sold us a bottle! Highly recommend adding it to your stop.

Excellent BBQ. The ribs were particularly delicious. The jalapeno sausage had great snap. The fries were freshly cut and crispy. The team was super friendly and the picnic tables were comfortable with plenty of shade on a sunny day. Dont miss the cider next door, which is crisp and a perfect match for the BBQ.

This was the best BBQ I have ever had. The pulled pork was incredible, the corn bread and honey butter combo was spot on. Pair that with some cider slushies and youve got a great meal.

Went for lunch. Salad was fantastic and the sandwiches were very good and large. Will be going back for certain.

Its a cute little roadside bbq stand on your way in or out of the County. Enjoyed the 2 meats + 2 sides combo, love supporting a local business! Will come again :)

Brisket was a little dry.

If you re looking to break the bank for extremely poorly done BBQ, this is the place to go. The brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were all dry as a bone, poorly seasoned, and seemed as though they were not made fresh that day. The sides are mediocre at best. All of this for about $30-40 per person. Not to mention, a bottle of Kirkland water costs $3.50 absurd. Overall, very disappointing. I will not be returning.

Regular customer at hendriks bbq. Going on year three, opening day did not disappoint for us yesterday. The tacos croquettes the sides even the off menu item was delicious. Food was hot and very tasty.

Absolutely one of the Best BBQ stops in Ontario. Completely worth stopping in. The Brisket Sandwich was excellent and the Pork Belly one was even better - one of the best meals on Prince Edward County so far.

OMG! The food is absolutely devine! Hubby & I had the Crispy Ribs. A twist on ribs, that definitely works! Fries were crisp on the outside, tender inside. And seasoned perfectly! Easy to tell everything is made from scratch. This includes the baked beans & coleslaw! Generous portions. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Better late than never! My family took me to Hendrix Barbeque for Father s Day after hearing all the talk around town about it. Everything was beyond what we expected. Great staff, great food and fast service! We will be back for more! Food

Hendriks BBQ is the best spot for traditional barbecue ALL AROUND. The value, the selection & the hospitality are unmatched. There is always something new on the menu to try out but the classics remain consistent. Perfect spot for anyone and everyone. Highly highly recommend.

We visited Hendricks last week while eating our way through PEC and this stop was by far our favorite! We got the sticky Korean ribs and they were simply the best ribs weve ever had. The owner was amazingly friendly and takes great pride in his work and it shows. We will definitely be returning for more BBQ and cider next summer!

We stopped by in July to grab a bite while doing a cider tasting at Crimson Cider nearby. They were kind enough to let us put in some orders before they close early for a private event. We got a variety of sandwiches and sides. The flavours are decent and the food was very fresh. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and the poutine. Unfortunately we could not order any of their platters as they had to close for their event.

The flavor of the ribs are to die for, absolutely loved their salad too. I think next time I visit, I will have the salad with the chicken thighs. The mustard sauce is so good that I would buy it if it was bottled! Congrats on your first day of opening.

Great food!

Ordered the Hendriks Platter with fatty brisket. It was stunning! Also highly recommend their pull pork and sausage. Beans and cornbread are also a must have. Craving to go back!

A must-try if you re heading to the county this summer, super fun experience, great service and some seriously good BBQ. We ve already been twice this season & will definitely be returning for more! I d give recommendations but you can t go wrong with anything on the menu!

We have attended Hendriks twice now. Both times we were greeted by kind staff. Our orders were prepared quickly and correctly. Our food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The food truck is clean and well maintained. Such a cute little patio out front! Let s talk taste!!! The hand made roasted garlic aioli is a MUST with freshly seasoned fries! The double thigh sandwich is absolutely fabulous! Tangy with a bit of spice! The fresh veggies on top add a great element of brightness to the sandwich. The brisket sandwich is mouth watering! Topped with crispy onions, giving a great texture and apple slaw adding a perfect touch of acid to cut the sweet-smoke of the sandwich! Both sandwiches were nested in a fresh, soft bun which set the whole thing off! Their poutine is fantastic too, it is rich, thick, cheesy, and Smokey! Honestly, a must try for anyone going to the county!! Cannot wait until our next trip back. 6/5 would recommend!

Absolutely delicious pulled pork and chicken sandwiches.

I grabbed 4 sandwiches, one of each (brisket, pulled pork, chicken and mushroom) and I tasted all of them except the mushroom. They were all excellent and my wife loved the mushroom sandwich. LOTS of meat and a large portion of fries that were decent but not the best (cannot complain its not a chip truck and they must use frozen fries). My wife took the salad as the side and it was full of fresh fruits and nuts, definitely not what she expected but thought it was a pleasant surprise. The only negative point is that on take out (after a +/- 10 minute drive) the bottom buns were fairly wet for two of the three sandwiches, I believe the pickles were too wet. Next time if we can I will eat there or ask for no pickles, theyre sweet/bread and butter type and not necessarily adding much to the sandwiches, perhaps dill pickles would be better but thats just my preference. Anyways as I was there for the barbecue they still deserve their 5 stars it was very good!

Great stop for a yummy BBQ sandwich in the county. My friend and I shared the pulled pork and chicken sandwiches with fries and a salad. The pulled pork was really good. We liked the chicken too but found the pork moister and better flavoured - the chicken was not quite as moist and had a bit too smoky a taste for us. Still good but just not our fav. They gave us a nice big tasty salad with fresh greens, strawberries, and nuts, and the fries were hot, salty, and cooked through. Yum! The only thing I would change is to ask for a little container of ketchup or (better) self-serve ketchup dispenser, because the two tiny packets of ketchup they gave me were sufficient for less than 1/4 of my fries (although we didnt notice there was aioli on the menu, would try that next time). Would probably give 4.5 stars if it was an option. Service was fast and there were picnic tables outside to enjoy our food. Thanks!

Outstanding brisket! This was honestly some of the most amazing bbq I have ever had. Stopped in for a brisket sandwich on my way into Wellington and had to go back the next day for more! Amazing, friendly service, great set up, reasonable prices! They know what s up when in comes to bbq and I will be back for sure. 5++++++ stars.

Perfect pairing with Crimson Cider Co. We placed an order, grabbed a table at the cidery, and they texted when our food was ready. We got the mushroom and brisket sandwiches, plus a poutine. Everything was delicious.

Absolutely incredible! We stopped in for lunch and all three of us said hands down the best meal we have ever had! Ribs fell off the bones and the chicken tacos were mouth watering. Not to mention the incredible staff and service we received!

Went yesterday. Marc is crushing it. This barbecue is the best in the county in my humble opinion. We got the platter for two but I asked for a slice of brisket because I wanted to taste everything. It was all on point. My wife wants to bathe in the beans they make, its that good. Everything was super delicious. The fries are awesome too. Great job you guys. Very fair prices too.
