We were looking for a replacement for subways and we came across these guys and will never go back.... on a busy night this is our go to from now on.

Amazing toasted sandwiches and great selections. My kids and I are regulars.

Best subs ever! Fresh and tasty. We had a 12 inch to share. It was perfect for 2 people.

Unfortunately, we found many hairs in a sub. Very disappointing and disgusting. Dont think well be back.

No, my son and I love to eat here. They often have a two for one but even if they dont the food is worth it. Its really good. We often have there Philly steak sub but all of their subs are really good. Weve tried them all. We eat there often and its really a good place to go. Even if you dont like subs, they have other options. Its just one of those restaurants that as soon as you see it youre like. Yeah, lets order there My son and I love eating there. When we look on Uber eats on what to eat we often end up choosing this place. Price is good. The food is good. All in all its good place so dont hesitate go try it. Its down on the St. Johns boulevard. You take St. Johns boulevard in point Clare and you had north on St. Johns. You go all the way down. You cant miss it toasties as near the bottom of st. Johns on your left or west side and its very good. You can try the Philly steak sub with or without pepperoni. Either one is good. We often have the one with the pepperoni. My son will often eat both, so if youre a big eater like him, you can have both subs. Theyre different sizes I think 8-in and 12 in but dont quote me on that. But they do have two sizes and I recommend one per person. Not everybody eats like an ogre like my son. He told me about this place. I think its right next to lamburger which is not my favorite spot although my son loves it. I tell him to hamburgers suck there but he likes it. So yeah, if youre not sure what to eat order toasties you wont be upset. Its the good choice so just in case you need the address, Ill leave it for you. Its 4712 boulevard Saint Jean in Pierrefonds. You get off highway 40 on St. John boulevard and you head north almost all the way. At the bottom of the boulevard youll see toasties on your left or you can just order. Either way you wont regret it. Its really good. My son showed me this place once and I ordered just out of curiosity and it ended up being really good that actually order there pretty often. And if you like peppers, dont forget to add jalapeno peppers in there and theyre really really hot and really really good. So thats it folks. Like I said go try it. You got the address 4712 boulevard St Jean Stop procrastinating and get out. Go try this place. Dont regret it. Its good, thank you

Looking from the outside youd think hmmmm?? My first time ever having toasties, I had the Club and my son the CBC... OMG! Amazing, better than subway, better than Dagwoods! So tasty, super real back bread.. Soooo gooooddddd!

The sandwich shop reminds me of Quiznos in US. All the sandwiches are toasted & you can customize toppings and sauce. The Italian sandwich was good. The Philly cheesecake was good, but not traditional as they place pepperoni on the sandwich along with the shaved steak. I should have asked to replace the pepperoni with extra steak so it would be more traditional like in Philadelphia. The Nutella chocolate chip cookies are off the charts delicious -- Very soft and gooey, filled with Nutella. Basic decor & seating which wasnt very appealing, but there are picnic tables outside to eat at.

I have been ordering here for years, very quick with high quality ingredients. If your looking for a quick tasty sandwich this is the place. Much better than the big restaurant chains. Great little spot always have sports on the TV s inside! So many different types of sandwiches my fav is the Onassis. Don t forget to try the hot sauce it s great.

I am in love with this place. I was in the West Island by chance and stumbled across this amazing spot. The service was awesome by the 2 gentlemen on June 21,2023 at 8:30 just before closing time. The sandwiches were some of the best I ve ever had and when my girlfriend tried hers she was in love. I Will definitely be a return customer and recommend this place to everyone

My partner and I stop by here every time we are in the West Island. Bread is fresh and toasty filled with delicious ingredients and sauces. I recommend the Onassis sandwich.

I found it was a much higher quality sandwich experience than Subway at a similar price. Will definitely be going back and fine-tuning my order to hit the same or better flavour notes as my Subway order. I would absolutely recommend trying this place out if you are a habitual Subway, Quiznos, etc. customer.

I never heard of a sub shop that doesn t offer an option for whole wheat bread until today at Toasties. To not give customers an option is very cheap and a turn off. The overall taste of my sub was just ok, definitely not delicious, certainly not something that I would crave or dream about having again in the future. The quality of the white bread was very low. I don t like that they serve raw mushrooms, which can in turn lead to foodborne illness. The sauce is nothing to write home about. Not my kind of place. Dagwoods is a million times better.

My bf and I love to try new restaurants, we found Toasties because we were looking for a subway look-a-like. BEST decision ever, it was WAY better than we expected. The service was incredible, super nice and helpful! So many choices of sandwiches! As someone who is pretty picky about what I eat, it was very pleasant to choose from the meat and cheese to the veggies and sauce! We will DEFINITELY come back and we recommend to everyone to try this place!

Bread is good, everything else seemed as normal as the others. Recommendation to staff. Dont smell the cold cuts to your nose before assembling a sub. That just freaks anyone out.

Well I get sub sandwiches there a lot usually for delivery but if I need to pick it up then its a short walk away from my place where I live in my hometown of Pierrefonds, Montreal. It has great meal options but mostly the sandwiches are delicious and more gourmet but cheaper than the competitor which is great. They have friendly service and a good laid back atmosphere for a sandwich shop and they are a good local eatery for those who know but fun to get recommendations and to explore if you are new to town. They are open regular hours but might close early including delivery within a certain area if not enough people going on any given day including holidays but always call first. I recommend this place always to locals and newcomers to the area. They have good portion sizes too for the sandwiches they have at a good price plus extras like chips and drinks plus cookies. Enjoy if you go. Vegetarian options: Well they have Vegetarian sub sandwiches and they are good including the crispy bread, made to order but always fresh and the vegetables too which are all delicious and you can put any topping you want on your sandwich at no extra cost including the sauces they recommend. Enjoy!! Parking: Well parking is OK but limited cause its a small place with a strip mall and other restaurants and businesses in the same complex where Toasties is sadly. There might not be enough parking in that area to find and you cannot park on the side street near there cause its a major boulevard and you will get a ticket from the local Montreal police plus get your vehicle impounded and towed to the local impound lot afterwards at your own risk. Enjoy the location and good luck. Kid-friendliness: Well you can bring kids there but not big groups sadly cause the place is rather small to begin with but no plans for expansion cause the area is very small as well. They dont have a kids menu either but the food is good and to the parents of the kids to portion the food to their childs appetite and you can ask the rest to go so as no waste. Have fun and enjoy! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes theres access but its limited and the chair owner might need some minor help getting in the place cause not sure if they have a ramp on the edge of the strip mall where the restaurant is located but I think so just have to take a look for that but after when you can get inside the restaurant, theres enough room to move around with the help of the staff. This has been our favorite place to eat while visiting Montreal! We re going to miss the subs. The toastie sauce is THE BEST! We ve tried 5 different subs now and all are great. Fast, efficient , and great subs!

Nothing special... I dont get all the hype. This resto is basically a wannabe Subway. You can literally buy bread at the grocery store and make the same sandwich The service was slow, but super clean resto.

Best Sandwich place in the west

After eating here once you will start realizing that subway needs to step up their game. The subs here taste better and are nicely toasted. On top of that they have a sweet and unique sauce called creamy which is a very nice touch. I recommend the italian sandwich since i find it to be the best, however there might be other good options too.

Discovered this place thanks to my boyfriend who used to work in the area! I love their variety and the sandwiches taste great! Friendly service and all the COVID measures are in place. I got the CBC sandwich which is cheddar cheese, bacon, and chicken. I added lettuce, black olives, and the special toasties sauce. It was a really good sandwich. Its the same concept as subway but what I like about it is that it isnt subway.

Great sandwiches at reasonable prices. Bread crust had just the right amount of crunch and everything is assembled right in front of you. Was busy during lunch hour, and it was nice to see the guys behind the counter, respectfully asking people to wait outside to respect social distancing depending on the number of people inside. And a few picnic tables outside is nice too. Will definitely go back whenever Im in the area.

Needs more originality not just the sauce

Delicious sandwiches done fresh! They have loads of options all at roughly the same price and various daily specials as well. They always load your sub with the requested vegetables and offer fabulous Nutella stuffed cookies.

Been going here since high school not once I have been disappointed! Way better then Subways and Dagwoods. The prices are great, they have some unique toppings, the portion is filling and their bread after toasting has a nice crunch. Hands down my favourite deli sandwich shop in the West Island.

Changed from 5 stars to 1 star. Got phili cheese steak sub with pepperoni sandwhich was wet under the bread and brown patches of of just wet spots under the bread it was disgusting and it did not taste fresh at all. This was the 2nd time this happened this place use to be amazing.

Toasties is, by far, the best sub shop in these parts. They have a great choice of warm and toasty sandwiches and a wide selection of toppings , the Greco with tsatsiki is one of my go-tos . Prices are quite reasonable. Quality and freshness are best-in-the-West.

A real American Style Sub shop. When I travel to the states, there are dozens of these types of shops all over, but up here in Canada we get...Subway...ugh. That is until now! Toasty Sub is a delicious crispy sub, Ive tried many different subs and theyre all great. Its cheaper than Subway to boot! Keep up the awesome Toasting!

Hidden gem of the west island.

This is supposed to be a phillys cheese steak. I ordered extra steak & extra mozzarella for a but it seems more like a steak sandwich . The 2 portions of steak is like 1 portion & it doesn t have no cheese at all. The sandwiches are fresh but very cheap portion. Not worthy at all to pay for extras, they are very cheap, dont give you what you pay for.

Ive been going here since it used to be called Toasty sub and it was always great. I decided to order uber eats toasties and a very burnt sandwich showed up i was extremely surprised cause these guys have always been consistent. I called the store and some kid answered and I told him the situation and I told him Ill send you a picture of it for proof he says Id like to see that with arrogance in his voice so i instantly sent the photo to the number he provided me and he tried to tell me thats not burnt lol i instantly asked to talk to the owner who gets on the phone and agrees with his blind employee that the sandwich is not burnt claimed thats the way the sandwiches come out of the new toaster they have now. I said well thats a huge problem if theyre all going to look like this. I told him Ive been in the resto business over 15 years working at real restaurants and Id never serve something that looks like that. Not one apology from the owner just arrogance as if he didnt care at all. All i wanted was an acknowledgement of their mistake and I would of giving them another chance but after the way he disagreed with me and his employee spoke to me they lost a loyal customer here. Look at the picture! whats to argue? black means burnt and this was blackened lol I sent the photo to uber and they instantly agreed with my complaint and refunded me fully I purely made this huge review over the owners arrogant attitude.

Awesome flavours and the Toasties sauce is the best. Popular here are the Vasco, Philly Steak and Rôti du boeuf! Excellent service to boot!

A terrific little sandwich joint! I had never heard of it until one of my coworkers had one for lunch. Since then, we have been going out of our way to get food from this place. Subway and Dagwoods would have some good competition if the owner ever decides to expand. You won t be disappointed if you like good toasted submarine sandwiches that are reasonably priced!

Toasties was always walking distance from me, and let me tell you it s worth the walk in -20 degrees. That s how good their sandwiches are, and the staff is always very welcoming as well.

Grew up in the West island. This place was a go-to for great sandwiches. Years later, theyre in a renovated spot but the quality is still the same. I dont live in the West island anymore but I still try to come here everytime Im around

Subs with not much in em. Was expecting more given the reviews, but just felt like ... why go to all the hassle of going here when I can get much more at Subways for the same price. Sure, Subways kinda sucks, but at least the subs have some bulk to them. Otherwise the place is clean and has some seating inside. Mall parking. Wheelchair accessible.

Decided to try this place for lunch based on previous reviews. Ordered the Onasis and the Pizza 12 sandwiches. I was not disappointed. Usually I avoid sub sandwiches but they both were very good and tasty. Not dry tasting at all. Fresh ingredients, good sauces and nice bread. The seating is a little small, maybe 20. Parking lot in front but not too many spaces. Clean and friendly, informative servers. Price is very good.

I had heard good things and was in the neighborhood. Im glad it wasnt at lunch rush time. Theres definitely a learning curve for newbs. So many sauces and vinaigrettes to choose from. We stuck with the most popular, Philly cheesesteak, but its really a steak and pepperoni. The staff was helpful with choosing the dressings and it was really tasty and crispy. I wish I lived closer to try different combinations. I would definer choose this over the chain sub restaurants.

My favourite sub place so far. Amazing, kind, and devoted staff. Very clean. Alway enjoy my time and the food there. YES, there are a bunch of different types of subs you can make so try something different if the first one wasn t perfect! Also, the creamy sauce is great!
