Order a smoke meat sandwich and paid 4.50$ extra to substitute fries with a Greek Salad on Sunday night 11/10-24. Order arrived and it had fries with Greek dressing. Called to inquire about the salad and was told that we ordered Greek dressing. Our on line slip clearly says Greek salad not dressing. Like we would pay 4.50$ for a 1/4 cup of dressing. Lady on food said to bad and we would need to pay extra to get the salad and we would receive it when sometime. We definitely was not paying another charge to get a salad that was all ready ordered. To the owners be assured I wi let everyone I know how shitty the service was and never order from here again
I hate to do this because I want to support local businesses but this place is nothing more than just alright. Service was ok, not many smiles but ok... Food was just alright, nothing more and I'm being generous. Sub, pizza...cheap bread, cheap dough, cheap ingredients. The greek village salad was ok but $16.50 and you get the equivalent of maybe 1 tomato in there, very small portion for the price. Prices wayyy too high for the quality of food. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be going back here even though there aren't any much better restaurants in the area.
Pros; Service was good, place was clean. Cons; Coffee was weak, rye was miniature sliced ends of the loaf, the bacon was paper thin and tasteless, the eggs were small and pale yellow... the fruit was underripe and tasteless. Wanted to get the salmon on a bagel but that was $21! Unless its house smoked quality salmon and fresh bagel what world is that a reasonable price? The ingredient quality in this place is not worth the ridiculous prices. Never again.

It was my first visit at this restaurant. I was invited for dinner (Oct. 2023). Food was amazing and a nice young girl served us. They have verity of options (Vegetarian food, pasta, meat and salmon). Also, they have dessert menu. I ordered pizza and had a blueberry and white chocolate cheese cake with coffee. A clean restaurant and good service. Recommended to visit it.
I had delivery from you tonight.... the pizza was good! But there was literally wax paper sheet (reddish) in my bacon cheese burger that was missing bacon!! I've been a long time customer and never had any complaints! But this was very disappointing and especially with your prices I expect more from you guys! I gagged pulling the wax paper from my mouth and at first i thought it was from a frozen hamburger patty... but I think it was the cheese casing.. Either way it's disgusting! 100$ for speghetti, small pizza, and a burger that I can't eat is unexceptable!
This has becoming our favorite breakfast restaurant! First of all, how they disinfecting their tables is really thorough, always using the disinfectant spray. The service is always awesome. The food quality and quantity is very satisfying. We have sampled different dishes, and all tasty! Love their crepes, very chewy, as well as their crispy bacons. I also like how they individually packed the corn syrup. A restaurant pays attention to details, service and cleanness. Highly recommended to everyone!
Food is very good! The waitress we had that day I assume lacked a bit of experience in general customer service but thankfully an older gentleman to whom she referred to demonstrated appropriate and genuine concern for the need of the customer and made efforts to meet our desires. Would have been better however if he came to speak to us directly as she was often going back and forth and sometimes answering his questions concerning our needs based on her assumption rather then checking in with us. Food however is delicious and the kids menu is wonderful as it includes a drink along with ice cream to accompany the main dish. Very cozy inside ... Mounted TV screens displaying sports or news ... high chars available. Worth trying again ;)

First time for me at this Restaurant and not the last! I tasted their balsamic strawberry salad (goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, grapes, walnuts, red onion etc.) and chicken and Wow I loved it, sweet and savory and the chicken is delicious. I cant wait to come back and eat it again. Good big salad, very appetizing and tasty! Thank you thank you thank you to our very friendly waitress!

By far, a gem of a restaurant! Exceptional service from Pasha. Attentive, gentle, delicate, friendly, patient, professional and efficient, Pasha immediately made me feel welcome and welcome. She is smiling, knows her menu and is focused on solutions. I work on the road and this restaurant lives up to its name. He is the Star that lightens my path and offers me an oasis of happiness. I ordered linguini Carbonara and it was to die for, it was so good! Everything was perfect in this restaurant. I will return there every day I am in Pincourt. I highly recommend it! Ive been going there for a good 40 years about, ever since I was a kid. They have the best pizza in the area and, the BEST poutine !!!!!!! Id recommend asking for the homemade fries, makes it reach that yummy level :o) Theyre quite accommodating as well if you want something out of the box... went there today and, asked for a poutine with Kalamata olives on it & tzatziki. I didnt know if Id like it but, Ive been wanting this for years. They made it or me and, OHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY GODDDDDDDDD BEST POUTINE EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next time Im so going to have to ask them to add souvlaki onto that and, voila best Greek poutine ever !!!!!!!! Never had one of those before but, this surely wont be the last time. I cant explain how good this is their tzatziki is the bomb with the mix of the kalamata olives & the poutine theres a party happening in my mouth :o) The staff is always courteous there & polite, theyll go the extra mile for you. The atmosphere is calm even when its jam packed of customer good family vibe. I basically saw one of the owners, Kosta, grow up all the while when I was growing up. This is a family established restaurant and, when youre there... they make you feel like family. Pickles ;o)

This restaurant is very clean and well set up. The pizza is great whether you eat there or order delivery. Every dish we have tried are all great. Salads, wraps, clubs, great. The service when we eat in at this restaurant is excellent. its a nice local eatery. On weekends you will find that this jewel of an eatery is packed and often busy even on a weeknight. The breakfast here is fabulous with good portions of food and smiles. Very good, very hot tasty food, with good choices to choose from. We go often as many people do. Enjoy,. We ordered a small poutine and a club sandwich. Very disappointed. The club sandwich was wet. With only one salad leaf inside and very few condiments. Very disappointed with the taste too. The poutine was cold and very soft fried. Little cheese and sauce. All for a total of $48....

I always order eggs benedict when I try a new place. It was just okay. There are only 3 possible choices for this dish. A little limited for my taste. My wife liked her eggs but the choice of meat must be added to the plate, for sausages, bacon or ham. Overall, I found that the prices were not competitive compared to other lunch places.... A little too expensive for what you get on the plate. Nothing like Amys in the West Island. This is just my opinion.... Otherwise, the service is good. Good atmosphere. Convenient for locals.
I ordered a spagetti primaverra on Friday February 1, 2024. I had food poisoning and I am suffering until today. They made me pay for the food because I was sick from drinking
We stopped by the restaurant on Saturday 17th February for the first time in many years since we no longer live in the area. The young waitress greeted us warmly. We ordered two western sandwiches and coffee. The food was nicely presented and tasted great. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant had undergone many upgrades since we were frequent customers back in the nineties. We strongly recommend LEtoile restaurant.

Great tasting subs. I find them a bit expensive though. I would have give 5 stars but the meat filling never seems to make it to the ends of the bun on either end. Youre left with bread and dressing for the ends. Ill pay the price they ask but fill the full 14 inches, Im paying for it.
Very nice restaurant in Pincourt. I was hesitating between 4 and 4.5 . The place is clean, modern and well glazed. The menu is extremely diverse. It s perfect for groups with different tastes because there really is everything. The service is very courteous and fast, the entire staff is super friendly. The food is tasty and fresh. Besides, the smoked is really excellent, one of the best I ve eaten in my life. It is tender, not fatty or too salty and served generously. The smoked meat poutine is delicious, the fries are homemade and you can taste it. Too bad when you order fries, they are commercial fries (frozen and fried on site). The smoked meat sandwich was tasty and thick but cold. As for desserts, there are fewer choices but the ones we had (cheesecake with pieces of carrot cake and chocolate cake) were delicious. The cocktails were also very good. Finally, the portions and prices are completely reasonable. I highly recommend.

Me and my family often order from this restaurant. One evening I order salmon, they put rotten vegetables under my salmon and the whole dish smells of mold. I called back to get help since the situation was unacceptable, and they told me that nothing was going to be done since I ate my meal. Whats very funny about the story is that I didnt eat a single bite; I brought my entire dish back in person to the restaurant. When I got there with the dish untouched, the waitresses told me themselves that this is nothing new and that they must experience this pressure, between the customers and the boss who doesnt even take the trouble to come and see the dish. Very nice young girls who were very shocked to see my dish. They even clearly told me that, I was right to come back that it didnt make any sense!! After a few moments 30-35 minutes and trying to reimburse only part of my dish they agreed to reimburse me for the entire dish. Very lucky that you have such kind waitresses and hostesses. Me and my family have decided to never return to this restaurant again. It will soon be a year of this situation, I come to give this opinion, since I heard friends tell me a similar story from the same restaurant.

Ive been ordering from LEtoile for many, many years now. The food and service have always been top notch! I find it odd, that people that gave a bad review are self proclaimed devout clients but had one bad experience and decided to give it 1 star! Absolutely ridiculous! If youre looking for good food for any time of day, this is the place!

Very insulting. They introduced him to the ordinary restaurant and asked us if they had a reservation.... Well no room... I hope that some of the reservations were not respected. Never again the star... Since when can this be allowed to refuse customers. Better to hold one. only two you will have it...

We used to live in pincourt years ago and eat there on a regular basis, we have since moved away, but were in the pincourt area and decided to go check it out, the food as very good, the prices were fair and the service exceptionnel. We will be back there again in the future!!

Worst experience I ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Charging extras after totals have already been given over the phone for a pick up order. Removed veggies on a sub and asked for another veggie in its place and get charged extra. For the price they charged me I could have bought a whole container of them. Trying to support local but won t be back here ever again. Very surprised at this.

Upon my arrival I asked the hostess if they accommodate gluten free. The manager was there and said yes we do our GF pasta in dedicated water and we have a GF pizza crust. They have a long standing staff member with celiac. As soon as we sat down the manager came to see me to see if I had any other allergies! I had pasta but will be back for pizza as well. A no fuss, locally owned restaurant with reliably good (SAFE) food with caring and aware staff. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Celiac friendly!!! Hooray!

We wanted to give them a chance, and honestly very disappointed, the most expensive subs in the area and the emptiest, comparable to a late night sub in the microwave with frozen fries as expensive as a bag complete. That was the last time for sure.

Ordered the filet of sole tonight for the first time. My husband and I always order pasta but tonight I wanted to try something different and I m glad I did. It was so fresh and delicious. Came with delish grilled veggies, rice and a salad. The portion was huge (enough rice for 2). I will definitely be ordering the fish again. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Thanks to the hostess who recommended the plate!

so tonight i called to order three meals, one of which was a submarine, when i asked if the submarine came with fries the woman taking my order said yes. if she said no i would ve ordered them on the side. but she said yes so i didn t! then when the order came there were no fries for my submarine. so we called back and she said i told her no when she asked if it came with fries if she wants fries we can send more now but they ll cost 4.75$ . so not only did she lie to me but when questioned on it she turned around and called me a liar. i m very disappointed as we order from this resto many times and as a consistent customer to be disrespected like that is appalling. will not be ordering again!

Ordered a meal, the portion was tiny and cold. Their fruit serving generously included a single strawberry, spoiler, and six grapes, 2 of which were spoiler. On the phone I was told I could substitute potates and sausage for extra bacon but they just removed the potatoes and sausage and did not add bacon
Ridiculous portion for the charged price. I understand that inflation affects everyone but there are limits to laughing at the world.

Restaurant LEtoile-Pincourt is a terrible restaurant. The food is disgustingly greasy, the service is terrible, and the atmosphere is incredibly stuffy. Avoid this restaurant at all cost!
For the elderly... ?? Thats what we were told when I asked why they still gave straws automatically in the glasses when we all know that its not good...!! To the response that the restaurant is full of elderly people who have been coming for a long time and that it would confuse them.... I admit that I cant believe it! And then, at my suggestion to ask the question rather than assuming.... I am told that it is too complicated..... It was the first restaurant we went to following our move... fortunately, its not like the rest of the island. Welcome to 2022 (almost 2023)! And by the way, Pincourt is full of young families, and preserving the planet is precisely for our children and grandchildren!
Our favorite place to eat. The ambiance is friendly and comfortable. It has such a family feel and the food is so yummy! Support locally owned restaurants give this gem a try. I promise you wont be disappointed .

We recently ordered take-out: the Grilled Salmon, California Club and Souvlaki Chicken Brochette, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Everything was fresh, hot and generous portions. Even had a piece of Death by Chocolate cake and instantly regretted only getting one piece to share (I know!! Who does that?!?!) Will definitely order from them again :)

I have been a customer of this restaurant since the 80s and before it went under fire a few years ago it served good food at a good price. Since they rebuilt the new place is very nice but the prices are too expensive for this kind of food. I just received a small all-dressed pizza as little as a supermarket pizza for $16 before taxes and more expensive than what I was told on the phone. No more for me

Tasted two pizzas- The toppings and taste is 5 stars, but for the price I feel like I ate a pizza bun. Too much dough. If the dough was leavened or artisanal it would have a flavor but here we are using a commercial dough which is similar to bread.

Definitely a pincourt staple. Been many times over the past years and I will continue to go in years to come. Remember going way back when you could smoke inside. Would go with my grandparents, I was young and the whole place filled with smoke wasnt as much fun back then. Would recommend

The best way to lose a customer is to not be consistent. After 2 years of ordering the cheddar burger and asking for caramelized onions, tonight its $1.50 more to caramelize the onions even though this was never an extra. Being told no has always been an extra. Well it cant be true but hey Ill have the onions removed and after tonight Ill forget about this restaurant. I hope the potential $1.50 was worth it.

Travaille dans la région. Souvent commander là à la job. Nouvellement aménagé dans le coin.La bouffe était correct rapport qualité prix. Mais après 3 commandes depuis les deux derniers mois, je remarque que les prix monte et les quantités baissent. Décevant. Commander ailleurs, ça fait là job aussi, et plus pour notre argent. Terminé létoile pour nous.

Before the pandemic we loved coming here with friends who have kids during the summer. Close to the firemen parade and festivities at Bellevue park. Great kids menu, comfy seating, professional staff, no loud. Very family friendly.
