One of the better coffee spots this part of town. Live their white chocolate mocha and caramel macchiato. The crustless quiche was alright but their blueberry almond croissant was delicious l. Ample seating space and a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always greet customers with a warm smile!
Got a white mocha and an iced matcha latte, pretty mediocre - not bad. The GF Bagel was dry, lacking something while the cheddar and kale scone was also lacking some flavour. Cute sitting area, new view to look out.
LOVE this cafe! The staff is very attentive, kind and friendly, and the cafe is very cute and doesn’t get loud. The sandwich selection is also very good and all the veggie sandwich options are so tasty. The coffee (I get the Spanish coffee) and pastries are the best I’ve had in all of Vancouver! Usually at cafes pastries are so sweet you can’t taste what you’re eating, but not here! The pastries are the perfect amount of sweetness and there are many to choose from. My favorite is the blueberry almond croissant :)
Good amount of outlets. Tables and chairs weren’t the most comfortable. Really high traffic on warmer days. Only thing was coffee was really not that good, none of us enjoyed it particularly. Prices are high.
Really good Chai lattes ❤️ just came here with my niece and mom for a coffee but we got a little something something 🫠 to go with our coffee. Highly recommend coming here for sure. If your into coffee and a walk by the river adjacent to here also a popular thing to do.
Im my opinion, this is one of the best neighborhood cafe in the city area. It is quiet yet cozy . The Club Panini with juicy chicken breast was delicious. My favorite place in Tri-Cities area for hangout on weekends or a sunny afternoon.
Such a cute place, great location and easy parking. Staff was friendly and the coffee ( Caramel macchiatos) we’re so delicious. I got a grilled cheese, and my friend got a veggie bagel. The bread tasted very fresh. The building is pretty small so limited seating if it gets busy. But super cute cafe and look. Great experience
Dry cappuccino was not dry, nothing really breakfast so ordered the quiche without the salad; price was $6 which seems steep. Nice atmosphere close to the river. Update July 2017: Got a Cafe Frap but it tasted mostly of milk and not coffee :-( Update Sept. 2024: 4 people were working in the cage but none were smiling. Nothing looked cleaned or maintained. Napkin dispenser was almost out. My wife ordered a 20oz coffee and for myself only a 16oz. But we were given two 16oz coffees. Although busy, they told my wife that she was wrong about the size of her coffee. Think this will be our last visit :-(
Lovely coffees, damn!
Great location on the river. Nice atmosphere inside. Prices are fair and no tip prompt when you pay!
Beautiful ambiance! Amazing paining! And delicious lattes! What more does one want Food : 5/5 |
We love Stomping Grounds Cafe & Bistro! Always a cozy spot with great vibes and amazing food. Keep up the fantastic work!
I found this place while looking for a cafe on a rainy day! I didnt know, but I think its run by a Korean owner. I was trying to drink sweet coffee, but I ended up drinking Canadiano ice, which I had never seen before. The taste is iced Americano For dessert, I ordered a carrot muffin and an earl gray scone . Perhaps because I like carrot cake, it suited my taste. Awesome! The earl gray scones were also delicious. The owner kindly asked if I would like the drink to be served in a mug or a togo cup! The neighborhood is pretty, so I m going to drink the rest of my drinks while taking a walk!! I will visit again next time I come nearby
Just meh Food was bland Coffee was not good Tons of room for improvement but will give it another chance one day
Stomping Grounds Café & Bistro in Pitt Meadows is an absolute gem! The attention to detail and commitment to quality make Stomping Grounds a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. Highly recommend!
Good food. Great service. Great coffee.
Coffee with a view of the Fraser River is the best ^ Its even better when you can enjoy it outside in the summer.
Great location but leaves me wanting a little more. I think the food is overpriced for what it is. It was a long drive to get there, street parking can be a challenge on a busy day and there is no draw factor except for the park next to it.
Great midway point to take a rest riding the dyke from PoCo to Pitt meadows
Coffee and almond blueberry crossiant was delicious.
Relaxing and awesome Sunday breakfast
Very nice staff
Small nice coffee place, friendly staff and great area around for a walk !
Great little cafe! Good coffee and lots of tasty snacks, baked goods and other food. Perfect to grab some food and drinks before walking along the river!
I haven t been here in quite some time, I had heard they had new management but my god what a difference. Coffee is good but the food is far from what it used to be. The quiche was very rubbery the croissant was also not what I would expect from a boutique cafe like this. So sad because it used to be such a great place. I m only leaving this so the new management knows they have work to do!
Coffee is amazing Paninis so good Food
Goto place for biking clubs
Nice place, good coffee
Coffee is delicious.
Expensive for what it is
My matcha latte was OK but my partners chai latte was pretty bad. Sandwiches definitely made up for the drink quality!
Really nice and busy coffee shop. Went for a walk along the river and finished with a Panani, breakfast bagel and a couple of Canadianos. Food was fresh and tasty. Coffee was good. Dog bowls outside for your furry family members.
A bustling little place on weekends, where neighborhood folks and people driving and cycling in gather. Coffee and quick comfort foods are tasty. Its a great place to stop before or after a stroll along the river trail or just to chat with friends.
Nice and cozy place.
Great cuppa coffee, tasty snacks to go with. Meals are good and reasonably priced. Recommend. It is so nice to sit outside and look at the park and people watch so common spring. Parking: Parking can difficult close by, there is more free parking behind the community center and you can walk easily.
For once finally, the coffee under the steam milk and foam is hot. Nice cappuccino. Ice place!
Best Spanish coffee I have had. I found their bagel sandwiches quite expensive considering the portion (about $9), but it was very tasty at least. I was sitting with my dog at the patio and it was very nice.
Amazing coffee and great location! We got coffee to go and had a stroll along the river. Great date spot!
Overpriced and garbage food. No condiments
Delicious matcha latte and osprey panini!
Nothing special, small hole in the wall cafe, overpriced. The bagel I ordered was no good.
Our favorite little coffee shop close to home. They serve up fresh brews and delicious baked goods and lunches.
A great place to stop on a lap out to Pitt Meadows. Great coffee and a wonderful view.
I had a question about ingredients in a wrap & the staff had what I assume was a manager come to answer. The response felt weirdly defensive and it was difficult to get a straight answer. We ordered their vegan & gluten free brownie - other items in the case had indications on them such as vegetarian , gluten free or peanut butter . Figuring this meant they labeled allergens, it didn t feel necessary to inquire if there were nuts in the brownie and frankly didn t want to ask anymore ingredient questions. Plus, items that contain nuts almost always indicate this as they re know to be life threatening to some. They forgot to give us the brownie with the rest of our order so I went back up to get it. After one small bite, it was clear there was nuts in the brownie. I m only allergic to almonds & since I avoid them it s not anaphylactic. There were multiple almond ingredients in it, headed to a nearby pharmacy so it was no worries but - that s pretty dangerous. Please take the time to label which products contain nuts, while it s not a deadly allergy for me - an allergic reaction still sucks.
Nice restaurant but it closes early and opens late the my big problem with it
The location is good. Nice view of the river. The food looks good but decided on the macaroons. Tasty. Coffee was good but we had to clean our own table
not impressed with the customer service. The guys over the counter were not friendly.
Parking: There is a large parking lot behind the shops on the east side of the street. Food
What a cute little place next to Shoreline Park in Pitt Meadows. Idyllic surroundings and such tremendous ambience.. Ordered a Flat White and a Breakfast Bagel Sandwich The Flat White was out of this world The staff is very kind and polite They have a limited menu but the food is very light and tasty.. Definitely coming back here again
They are always very busy and its a small location. Very friendly staff.
Okay nothing special. Too noisy to sit for coffee. Must do to go
The BEST place for a delicious coffee and a treat. All the baked goods, sandwiches and soups are so good! My personal favourite sandwich is the osprey panini. They do also have a delicious new salad with Cajun chicken which I love. Everyone that works there is so lovely and friendly!
Very good very nice
Love this place!
A nice little neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee was excellent here. Didnt try any of the food on offer, but it looked very good as well. Limited seating inside though. Could be tough to find an indoor seat at times.
Super friendly service and tasty food and drinks!
Cute and delicious cafe! I was pleasantly surprised to see gluten free options. I had a gluten free bagel and it was the best bagel I ve ever had!! I wasn t expecting to enjoy it very much as gluten free food usually isn t the best so I was incredibly happy and pleased! I ll definitely be going back. Their london fog and macaroons were also sooooo good!! I went back for seconds! Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free friendly Parking: Parking lot across the street Wheelchair accessibility: My stroller fit so a wheelchair should too!
Such a cute little cafe! The food and drinks we ordered was delicious, will definitely return!
Literally the best caramel macchiato Ive ever had
We went for a walk on the nearby trails then stopped for lunch at Stomping Grounds where we had the Osprey Panini and latte. Both were delicious. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the amazing location. Highly recommend the Stomping Grounds Cafe & Bistro for the food and atmosphere.
Great terrace, not so yummy menu
Beautiful and cute place and area.
Nice location. Coffee and pecan tart were OK.
Yesterday I was there and bought a coffee latte and an almond croissant it was delicious and one of the crispy ones. I really enjoyed the place and environment.
Loved this place, and the location! Coffee was great, breakfast bagels were delicious. Parking can be a bit limited in the village at times but that just means you get to go for a lovely stroll in a beautiful neighborhood.
Its always busy and fast to get a cup of beverage and food. Its located next to a big park with a view on Fraser River. Bring your kids, pets, and friends. Food
This is in a great location by the river, a great stop for cyclists and locals. The food and drinks are good and they provide the options of ceramic plates and cups, or paper, so care for the environment. They are the best coffee shop in Pitt Meadows.
Cycled here from Port Coquitlam, and had a delicious lunch to fuel our way back! Would definitely recommend their panini sandwiches and coffee.
Popular bike stop. Staff weee friendly and helpful. Coffee was super. I had a cheese and spinach scone, lightly heated. Hit the spot after 55km ride out.
Really nice place to have a brake and enjoy cup of coffee. Really nice espresso.
Wonderful little Cafe. Highly recommend the blueberry almond croissant.
Great coffee in a town that is home to thousands of hall mark movies
Great coffee and food. Great spot for cyclists passing through to get a caffeine boost as its on a popular trail. Spanish coffee was a little sweet for my taste so next time Ill get it half sweet. Pecan tart was perfect.
A small but delicious cafe located on the riverside. A friendly, quiet neighborhood café where you can enjoy brunch without any pressure.
What a perfect place to meet up for coffee and a bite to eat.
Good sandwitch, i will come back
I like it. I drink coffee and take a walk in the park right in front of the river. There is parking on the side of the road for 2 hours.
Love stomping grounds and been many times although my last visit was disappointing had my usual kale and cheese scone delicious with coffee there were no regulart cups had to use to go cup even tho we ate in ??? requested some butter was told there wasnt any !!! The male server had long hair not tied up flipping it over often.. thought this was required when working with food?? also there wasnt any paper towel to dry hands in the Bathroom.. all in all seemed very unorganized, hoping for a better outcome next visit because I will be back..... love those scones!!
a very cute and cozy cafe!
Their spanish coffee is delicious.
Rainy day, so quiet, dry, warm oasis. Excellent (shared) blueberry croissant with coffee. Good value for money. Pleasant staff.
Iced Spanish lattes and tasty osprey panini
One of the best coffee shop for me, I love their fresh cookies and deserts. It is gem in a small residential area. Highly recommended
Tasty eats and great atmosphere
The place/neighbourhood was cute. The quiche was bland and crustless, but the coffee was tasty and the pastries looked good. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed my treat by the water which is right by the cafe.
Great local coffee and cafe. Great location for a stroll along the river or just grab a coffee and something to eat on your way pass.
Cute coffee shop with a quaint village vibe. Near trails, and perfect for a sunny Fall-Winter morning. Nice variety of drinks. Food
Beautiful setting, good coffee and great service... What else is there to say! Just wished it had been warmer inside... But we were in the middle of an Arctic storm.
The mocha tasted average. Minimal customer service. Its missing the friendly touch!
Location location location! Friendly staff and delicious breakfast wraps
They have good and good service.
Best americano (they call it Canadiano here) you can find in the area so far. Very friendly staff too.
Delicious carrot muffins, and coffee. Hope to go back. The selection of baked good seems pretty extensive. Didnt get a chance to see if there was more to the menu yet .
Most lovely little place right on the river.
Awesome sandwiches and smoothies!
I was in great need of an Americano to get through my sons baseball game and I stumbled across this gem of a coffee shop. Service was quick and efficient, prices were reasonable, and the breakfast wrap was delicious (even came with salsa and sour cream)! Definitely will make this a destination stop next time Im out riding my bike.
Excellent cappuccino and the most delicious cheddar & kale scone.
Cute little coffee shop right by the water and a walking trail. Great coffee. Limited goodies to choose from but the peanut butter chocolate was so yummy
one of my favourite cute and cozy coffee shops! great location with friendly staff. their sandwich selections are my personal favourite.
A cafe with delicious sandwiches and coffee in a very pretty village~ The owner is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I recommend you visit when the weather is nice.
I feel that this cool little shop with its cheerful service, excellent coffee and various food items has helped elevate this area a fair bit.... this little corridor of shops in Osprey village gives a very modern urban feel to its visitors. Having direct access to paths along the river and through forest cover is a great way to spend a hour decompressing but make sure you bring something from Stomping Grounds with you. One suggestion might be extending hours of operation into the early evening during longer summer days might turn out to be a lucrative decision.
Always great to get a coffee and bit here. Super views too on a nice day.
Love coming to this cafe for lunch, a snack or even breakfast. They offer different wraps and sandwiches that are also available as vegetarian. They have other milk options which is always nice. Always so friendly and inviting! I hope they stay open longer durning the summer months, would be perfect for an evening walk and a refreshing drink. (I added an image of their tofu breakfast wrap. So good and so filling!) UPDATE: I just recently got the avacado mozzarella sandwich and it was amazing!
Really peaceful and quite location and the staff were really friendly and my food came fast as well. Lots of menu items to choose from and their iced coffee are amazing. Definitely coming back and also cyclist friendly:)
Good food, ok coffee, and pricey. $18 for 2 coffees, and 2 breads.
Nice view but expensive for what you get
Good place good coffee
Beautiful little place with great service. Love there sandwiches and cookies too.
Bit overpriced, but the food is good, so are the drinks. Cute location. I was surprised to learn they dont have an AC system as I went there to try and hide from the heat wave during lunch.
Everything was great, good tasty And quality . even on my picky European taste.
We enjoyed their coffee and Avocado Sandwich, delicious. highly recommended!
Amazing
Terrible latte. Tasted burnt so I threw it out.
Nice hidden gem to sip a cup of coffee or whole leaf with a great book . Thanks for the sweetest breeze kiss from the land of forgiveness
Good spot for coffee to go not a super enjoyable spot to sit
Iced Spanish coffee is so good!
Grand oul place
Tried the grilled cheese and Mozzarella avocado sun-dried tomatoes sandwich with pesto, they were both amazing. The tropical Mango was not as expected though, but it was ok. The place was super hot. We didnt eat inside.
Very upscale. A perfect place to people watch. A incredible view right by the water. Perfect place to stop for coffee.
Was looking forward to getting a hot drink yesterday, but. when the guy making drinks didnt even acknowledge the customer in front of me and after waiting several minutes for at least apologizing for the delay, I walked out. It looked like there was one person in the kitchen preparing food and one guy out front. The cafe wasnt particularly busy. I get it - short staffed, or whatever, the least the barista could have done was looked up for a second and acknowledge the customers waiting in line. Not impressed.
Reasonable cafe, and worth going to if in the area. They could benefit from training their baristas more, but overall its not bad. Not a cafe Id go out of my way for, but perfect for grabbing a coffee and walking the river.
Cute coffee shop for a post cycle treat
Great little coffee shop, friendly and kind staff. This place has fantastic breakfast options. You can t go wrong with any choices in food because everything is delicious. Take a nice stroll by the river in osprey village while you enjoy your hot beverage and baked good but please remember not to litter and pick up after your pets so that we can all enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Nice cafe in beautiful place I like that area specially for a walk Quiet area with beautiful scenery
Absolutely amazing espresso and cinnamon rolls
Staff is always so friendly and kind. Amazing coffee too!
Nice spot to grab a coffee. Coffee was pretty good!
Can get busy since there is not much else around. But location next to the river is great. Coffee is of a good quality
Great independent coffee shop.
Hidden gem if you re not from the area, amazing service cutest spot , most incredible coffee and food & absolutely worth the drive
Excellent coffee and yummy treats. Staff is always lovely.
Nice coffee shop. FRESH Rice Krispie squares. Need I say more?
Delicious tea and a nearby walk in nature. Perfect.
Great spot to stop for a good ice coffee during you bike ride. Great snacks as well. They could use some compost and recycling bins outside to encourage less waste, they already have good container for it, but they are all ending up in the garbage at the moment.
Always great coffees and food, especially brunch when they have it on the weekends. Really friendly staff there as well. Well positioned by a park bordering the Fraser river with paths from there along the river to take a stroll while enjoying your coffee.
Wonderful spot
They closed the washroom while we were there because they ran out of toilet paper. Great. There happens to be a grocery store across the street. How much trouble would it be to go there and pick up a roll or two or stock enough? Bad customer service.
Good coffee, but mediocre scones.
Local nice spot with river and park view. Friendly owner and staff. Loverly place to keep in town. Stop y if you can, nice place even winter time.
I was pleasantly surprised by this little coffee shop. I was in the area and noticed how busy they were, so I popped in to give it a try. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a mango smoothie. Both drinks were exceptional! Perfect partner(s) for a sunny day in Osprey Village. Kudos to them for using biodegradable/compostable cups and straws as well!
Tasty food and coffee
The prices for everything is ridiculous!
Cute little Cafe with some great outdoor seating. Perfect spot to grab a quick coffee or tea and go for a walk along the green way. Had their London fog and loved it staff were nice and we got our order quickly.
Cool little coffee shop
Delicious avocado sandwich and spinach scone In fragrant coffee After chatting with plus good acquaintances Stroll along the Fraser River in front of the cafe~
Love this place to grab a tasty coffee before taking a walk along the river! Super cute, good service, and tasty food! Highly recommend the brunch menu on the weekends too :)
A great location in a little hideaway area in Pitt Meadows. The coffee is amazing, the panini I had was good, no complaints there. The only complaint I have is the place is a bit too small to me personally, but it s got a nice little hole in the wall feeling about it that makes it worth the trip down here on a weekend if you can, maybe on a weekday if you re not busy and want to be by the water.
In a nice quiet neighborhood with a very refreshing cold mango drink!
Great iced Canadiano and a croissant. Especially loved the proximity to the river for strolling afterwards.
love their cheese and kale scones !
Good latte and spanish lattes! Beautiful location! Grab your drink, walk the trail!
Great coffee! Loved my iced drink. My only suggestion is it would be nice to have more vegan savoury options. I understand that not everyone is vegan BUT it would be a huge bonus I think! The sweets are nice but it s good to have savoury options like a salad or scone! It s tiny but it s so cute inside. Staff were awesome! Very busy but that s because it s delicious! Glad they have Stevia!
Lovely place to sit and have a coffee while looking for dogs to pat.
Oasis... trust me!!
Had a chai tea latte that was half foam wasnt very tasty and a dry raisin Bran muffin that I threw in the garbage
Cute little cafe, lovely staff, lots of vegan options like wraps and brownies. Highly recommend!
Great location on the river leading to a beautiful trail. Good selection of food and offers a green mint fog .delicious and the only cafe I ve seen offering this minty take on a London fog.
Cozy place, Tofu wraps was delicious you must try. We drove far away from North Shore, it had all been worthwhile.
The coffee and treats are delicious and fresh! There is always a place to sit outside as well as ample bicyle parking. A great place to get fueled up for the next part of our ride!
Great food and coffee. My go to when at Osprey Village
Great place to eat or pick up coffee. The kids usually get their grilled cheese sandwich. It s so nice that there s a trail nearby. Sometimes I grab a coffee or tea with a friend and go for a walk.
My favorite place, yummy snacks, beverage, and beautiful views
Nice stop, good latte and friendly service. Great little community.
Great little coffee shop. GREAT sandwiches and well prepared coffee. Anyone wanting a nice walk by the river, make this part of your trundle!
