This location is particularly not good. The service is bad and the workers are not even paying attention to your requests. The food was not good at this location and dry. Please hire new staff thank you.
I just had a order delivered by Ubereats. I had calamari and Greek salad. The Greek salad was awful. Two tiny pieces of cucumber, 1 small slice of red onion, 1 small sliver of green pepper and no feta cheese but lots of tomatoes and 2 olives The calamari was cold and had to be reheated. I don't know what the sauce was but it wasn't what usually comes with calamari. It had a very bitter, sour taste Very disappointed in the meal. This is the second time I have ordered this meal and it's been awful. I will not be ordering anything from your restaurant. Obviously whoever cooked the calamari and put the salad together didn't really care.
I go there every time i'm at that plaza. my mom loves calamari and she doesn't like it over cooked, she's asked multiple different restaurants to not over cook them, this is the only place she gets to enjoy Calamari.
The staff here are super friendly. My family and I come here often great food never disappointed. The place is always clean and stocked as well.
I always go there to get food and everyone is nice but there’s a rude and unprofessional lady too, who knows nothing about communication or customer service at all. She is either a middle eastern or asian. I forgot to ask her for no cheese and asked her to remove it, while I was on a call. She yelled at me and said ; why didn’t I tell her before. She ruined my meal and I ended up throwing more than half of my food to the garbage. So, I called to get her managers name and number, she called herself the manager/owner and started cursing me again and laughing at me. Being in the food industry/customer service I have always been told, customer is right but apparently she thinks; if she is serving the food, she has the right to be disrespectful/rude towards the customers. Come on lady ! You are not serving food for free. I really want the manager or owner to know about her bad skills, and rude behaviour. She is probably new to the country with absolutely no knowledge of customer service, definitely shouldn’t be behind the counter !! Not returning again.
I dont understand why the Greek salad is basically all romaine lettuce. Not good. I purchased several platters and spent good money but really wasn't expecting this.
Always consistently good food. Price is a little steep though when you go to feed two people and have to mortgage your house. UPDATE: Opa, what happened??? My wife and I visited your Meadowtown location tonight, excited for date night and having our favourite Greek food. When our food was ready, we were so disappointed. Slim toppings, no tzatziki on the wraps, very little feta… but the same high price. $30 for three wraps and fries. Sorry, but if this is the new Opa, we won’t be coming back.

The food is good - not amazing, but not great either. About what youd expect. The staff are friendly and fast - however, as many have mentioned, this is very expensive. Especially considering this is a fast food Greek restaurant and comes close to having the same price as a real restaurant in addition to how little food some of the meals give. The Lamb platter gives a little handful of salad, pita, HALF of a potato, some rice, and 4 bite-sized pieces of Lamb. For what? $16? Im all for a quick bite of Greek when you have a craving, but the competitive pricing for quantity of food just isnt there.

Smaller portions than last time I was here. My favorite item on the platter is the potatoes. Cheapskates!!! I got one tiny potato. Why so cheap with the portion. The only thing plentiful was the dull flavorless rice. Wont be back!!!
They have definitely made the portions smaller and smaller, and prices have increased since the last time I was there. Greek salad is mostly lettuce, olives are counted, I only got 2. Salad is basically tomatoes with a little bit of very small cut cucumbers and peppers, almost no onions. Calamari portion was very small. Overall not worth it.
Ordered here for the first time and will be the last, my granddaughter can make better Souvlaki in her Easy Bake Oven! It s totally worth the drive to Abby to Greek Islands. Opa doesn t even deserve 1 star!
The guys here are amazing. They went above and beyond to help us when we unable to get to them. The food was fantastic!! Customer service was exceptional and greatly appreciated!
Friendly Staff However, the pita wrap wasnt good at all, kept falling apart, but the fries were somewhat ok and the lamb they used was flavourful.
This was honestly a horrible meal. Gyros were so so so dry and clearly old or stale. Potato was dry, rice was bland and dry. Just so disappointing, dont waste your money.
Food was okay but very over priced for what you get. 2 skewers, salad and a drink cost close to $22? Definitely wont be coming back at those prices.

Worst food ever ate in my life. Even the service is so poor. Their is old lady who is so rude and full of attitude. I hope i never met her ever. While ordering my food, a courier drive arrive their for pickup and that lady is way rude to that driver. I don t even refer anyone to order even online there. 2 salads with calamari, 2 baklava. Cost $32 Portion size was so tiny. Calamari was freezer burnt. Greek salad microscopic feta cheese dust and the Greek salad was mostly lettuce!!! I don t even want to give them one star the poor service ever had in my life is in this location of OPA the old lady was to rude and have a hike of attitude which she don t deserve I would never want to meet that lady again in my future. Even she was too rude to the delivery drivers over there.

I have eaten here many times. When they opened it was fresh and good. I ate there last week and the Gyro meat was as hard as a rock. I dont want to argue and spoil my day so I ate as much as I could and left. I know times are tough for these places, but I expect better. Also, the NO REFILLS sign is getting old. COVID does not transmit through pop machines. Time to remove the sign.

Food is good, but overpriced. I usually get the Olympic bowl but probably wont anymore because its over 60% rice. And the drinks are so expensive that I stopped getting them. Oh well, it was good for awhile. Time to move on to a place that offers better value.

I knew there was a reason I hadnt been here in a long time. Went to OPA today in hopes of trying something different for dinner. Both workers were waiting for a customer. They helped me right away, took my order - one beef souvlaki platter and one chicken souvlaki platter. The food was below average. One piece of the beef was inedible and couldnt even be cut with a fork (keep in mind there was only 4 pieces of beef to begin with. It was also extremely salty. The chicken platter had about 4 pieces of chicken. The Greek salad had romaine lettuce in it, and hardly any feta cheese. Our meal was $27.17 and totally not worth it. Wont be returning.

The food was not prepared properly, compared to other Opas. Smaller portions, ingredients missing and being charged extra for. The people behind the counter dont know how to talk to customers. Extremely rude service. Will not be coming back here.
So for a starters, the food was fine and the service was quick and the establishment is clean. They really only recieved 2 stars simply because of how much better the completion is. They are priced too high to be a fast food restaurant and yet can not pull off a meal that one would get at a mid grade greek tavern, which by the way would only be another 25% more in cost and would add 2-3X the food plus table service plus plus...
Went there tonight. When I walked in there was newspaper all over the food prep area. I got over that and ordered our food. The girl went to put gloves on and dropped one on the floor. She picked the glove up and proceeded to put the glove back on. I asked her to change her gloves and she gave me a weird look. At that point I was frustrated and didn t want my food prepared by this dirty establishment so I asked for a refund. No one knew how to do a refund and they tried for over 15 mins to give me a refund. The other girl trying to figure out how to refund kept saying she would make my food and that the other girl was training. I don t care if you re training or not you should not think it s acceptable to pick a glove up off the ground and proceed to make food. Avoid this place. Clearly cleanliness is not a priority here.

First time at this Opa location. Their falafel wrap is half of what you get at any other location. Poor customer service as well. No hand sanitizer for customers to use.
Worst opa franchise i been too. Food was uncooked and the girl there was very rude. Maybe she was having a bad day but still we should be polite to out customers. Dont spend you money and time at this location

Ordered calamari for dine in and it was basically just cooked styrofoam. I give 2 stars for the food and 5 for the lovely, hard working staff.
I ordered from Skip the dishes and it came very quickly. I asked for extra salad and potato instead of pita bread and they did that for me. I think this place is a bit expensive considering at Donair places you can get a similiar platter (often better and more food) for alot cheaper. The foods good but I think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere.

I like the food at Opa, but this particular location has stunningly bad service. They are supposed to be open at 11 am, but at 11:20, they were not even prepped, much less ready to serve food. Not only that but the entire staff ignored me completely. It felt very strange standing at the counter wondering why there isnt even so much as a hello from the two people working there. When I asked if they were open all I received as reply was perhaps two inaudible, mumbled words as they attempted to turn on the menu screens. In this country, restaurants should be trying to please customers, or at the very least be pleasant to them, because there is a lot of other places we can grab a quick lunch.

Great food. But not great value. Almost 13 bucks for a fast food meal that doesnt fill me. They could get another star if they had proper cutlery. The plastic knives wont cut the potato and the fork wont pierce a green pepper. Cant get enough of the pita bread though!
So I have been to a few Opas and this one is pretty bad. Maybe an off day but soggy Fries and half as much as normal. Then my pita has over cooked, dry, almost looks like day old or more gyro meat. Opa is usually a good bet for decent fast food. But definitely not this time.
The Greek food at Opa! is better than any local Greek restaurant for about 25 to 30% less. The food is fast and delicious.
Ive been to Opa! many times, its a really good and local fix for Greek food. We have two young children and they always finish their plates. Basic, non confusing Greek dishes and a good offering of more palate challenging dishes for the folks who care to break from the mainstream, such as lamb and calamari. I find the portions always filling, and most dishes, including a protein (beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp, salmon etc) rice, potatoes, thick pita bread, tzatziki and salad are under ten bucks. The menu is varied well to include light meals, donairs, heavy meals with all the sides you could want, kids meals, snacks and salads. Food is always hot and seasoned well. Restaurant quality Greek food with fast food convenience. From ordering to sit down, Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes.
