Atmosphere is very nice, but food and service…. Portions are small. Wait is insane. Only 3 tables were busy but I had to wait almost an hour for my order of sushi. Don’t recommend this place
My husband had brought me here and said it was some of the best sushi he had tried so of course I needed to try it! The first thing I noticed was the restaurant was very clean and they had very spacious seating, not like some where you are incredibly close to the table next to you or beside you. Everything i tried was so fresh, very flavourful ! They offer a great variety of menu items along with the specials. Most importantly the have a good variety of Gluten Free options that are affordable and great in taste! It is hard to find a sushi restaurant that is consistent in their flavors and taste. Everytime i have been here it has been spot on.
Local gem, love their presentation. The food is tasty and is definitely comparable to popular sushi spots in vancouver. Tuna tataki in the photos.
The service came slow, but at least they ask you twice if you want to order. The tonkotsu was crispy and moist. But if you want authentic ramen, keep looking - not recommended. We ordered the Spicy Tan Tan, featuring gyoza meat patty. The ramen peanut sauce more sweet than spicy. The pickles are special, reminds me of essential oil. The miso was served cold, but hey if you ask for hot they’ll at least meet you halfway at lukewarm, just like my feelings about this place.
Great food and the portions are sufficient Fabulous service Excellent environment Highly recommended👍
Great local sushi/Japanese in Pitt Meadows. Kind staff, and everything was super fresh. The special bluefin Toro was at a great price for incredible quality bluefin. And the oshi was on point for this Vancouver staple. Also has Sapporo on tap!
[Pro] - Friendly staff - Clean place - Nice ambiance [Con] - Food is just decent (Chashu don was served in a stone bowl but the rice did not get crunchy at all) (Chashu ramen's soup was light but not rich in flavour. Very light body, noodles were clumped together) - Service was slow and seemed very inefficient. (Slow to take out orders. We waited over 20 minutes to get our food, then waited another 10 minutes just to pay. There were four people in the kitchen, four people up front. Despite all that, there doesn't seem to be food coming out of the kitchen, and the staff were all flustered and confused.) - Tea is charged and it's a very small pot of tea We could have caught them at a busy time (although it really doesn't look like it), but we wouldn't recommend and come back as we would rather travel somewhere else to get a better experience and food.
I'd say that this restaurant is the best I've tried so far in Metro Vancouver and Tri-Cities. The food is amazing. We can taste and see the high-quality ingredients, as well as the care in every single detail when preparing the food. The menu has many yummy options, and as much as I try, I want more. On top of that, the cleanliness is impeccable. The service is excellent with friendly and polite staff. I strongly recommend you try this restaurant. You won't regret it for sure. Congratulations to the owner(s) and all the crew! You are doing excellent work! Please keep it that way 🤩.
Still my favorite
Great spot that we did not expect to find. Everything was hot and fresh like you would expect. Pork belly yakiton was get another order worthy with just good seasoning and proper grilling. Recommended.
One of the best restaurants in Pitt Meadows. The sushi is the best in the area. Can you get better sushi downtown? Yes. But thats a long drive
Spectacular
The sushi was nice and fresh. The assorted sashimi was very tasty and had quite a few different varieties. We had bbq unagi roll which are on the smaller side. The tuna oshi was a good size but it wasnt something I would order again. I didnt like it being warmed by torch. The sunomono tasted good but I didnt like all the veggies they put in it. It had broccoli, big pieces of lettuce, and a bit of carrots. Im used to it having cucumber, radish and carrots. Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu and it looked good. Neither of the kids ordered off of it.
I have been going to Kisoji for years now and can confidently say that they are truely the BEST Japanese cuisine in the area (Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Mission). The food is excellent: Lots of great choices, fresh, quantity and size are above average, great Variety in fish and seafood, and it all tastes fantastic. They have great Oshi, Yakatori, and Ramen. Service is great too! Ms. Karen was kind, attentive, helpful, quick and always smiling. The setting is contemporary, great outdoor seating/patio, lots of easy parking and easy to find and get to. Prices are competitive and one can argue that is cheaper considering the freshness, variety, and quantity...you get more than what you pay for, which is rare these days. They even have a party room that can seat 16-20 people in case you have special events. I am now a regular there since I am a big Sushi fan. I have literally tried dozens of local Sushi restaurants, and even there are many good ones around, Kisoji is a cut above in every category. you wont be disappointed, its a 10/10! Thank you Kisoji Team! we needed you in this area!!!
Great food and nice prices! Them churros and ice cream are amazing!
Amazing!! What a great place for a delicious yakisoba!
I love me some sushi and this place did not disappoint, very clean presentation and fair prices as well.
Great selection and taste. Service was a quick but then the seemed to forget about us..
Excellent delicious food every single time! I celebrated my birthday here because I knew I was guaranteed a fabulous dinner.
Like it
Service and food is excellent!
Decent food Friendly service Bright & clean interior Will visit again Food : 4/5 |
Portions were small but tasted great
Always excellent! Our go to for sushi. Great gluten free menu as well.
So many fake google reviews. It is 2.5 star max.
Clean restaurant and delicious.
Ate here recently with the family and the service was awful. It was my wife and I and our two children. The server was just not on top of things at all. He brought 1 napkin for the entire table, no sharing plates, no soy sauce bowls etc. We had to keep asking for all of these basic things. Food was great overall but these are really basic service items and this ruins an experience.
Best Sushi place in the area!
Just discovered this place a couple of months ago and now I m addicted! Fresh quality seafood.
Some of the best sushi and service in the tri cities :)
6 for lunch before a movie. 1st visit for most of us. Everyone enjoyed the cozy, open atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. We all had bento boxes, food was fresh and delicious. Generous portions, came out fast. My veggie box had tofu teriyaki, rice, tempura, salad, veg roll, and miso soup. They have a drink menu with many choices, but we had tea & pop. Will definitely return!
Ridiculous Tonkatsu in such kind of shape! Teishoku only had one salad and few pickles $20 dollars?? Plus they charged tea,, didnt event tell customer in advance. PS:Third fouth pictures are real JapaneseTeishoku (Salmon)tray okay!!!
Love it, will definitely come again! Update: ~5 years later, Kisoji is still the best sushi place in all of the Pitt Meadows / Mapple Ridge area. Food : 5/5
I asked for tea for drink when they asked for drink. Did not expect they would charge for the tea because they asked water or tea and usually restaurant does not charge for that at least not without not let the customer knows. at the end of meal, they actually charged for the tea that I asked. I wouldnt mind if they know the tea will be charged but they just charged without letting know.
Fresh and delicious food. Excellent service!!!
My husband and I love the food here. Both Dine in and Take out!
Fantastic Food. Menu is great.
Slow service.. lack of help from servers and mediocre food .
Spicy tuna sashimi was awesome. Great atmosphere and decor. Excellent service. 100% recommend this hidden gem.
Consistently good authentic Japanese food, great friendly service.
Easy mobile app.....great food....try the new Tan Tan ramen!
Good quality food and great service, the sushi is fresh and tastes amazing. The prices are higher but still its a good restaurant
we had the chashu ramen, nabe udon, gyoza and agedashi tofu, and loved every single bite of everything the pork in the gyoza was tender and juicy, the broths were strong in flavour but light in viscosity, and the agedashi tofu had the most crunchy coating ive ever had for an agedashi tofu. thank you so much for a delicious meal, im definitely going to go again!!
The Tan Tan Ramen is the best dish yet! Oh my the flavor just dances in your mouth. This restaurant is the best food in Pitt Meadows!!!
Yummy
Amazing food, service & its beautifully done inside and on the patio. You get what you pay for & it is worth every penny
Phenomenal food, great service. Family owned spot that is our go to for sushi. Highly recommend.
Ambient restaurant. Recommend rolls over sushi as the fish quality is so-so.
I was told by a friend that this is a legitimate Japanese place. He told me that it was some the most creative, beautiful, fresh and handled with love Japanese food he has had. He told me it had great value for the money. Well I am happy to say I still have a friend and a NEW favourite place. Best of both worlds! The rolls are fresh, creative and absolutely delicious. The sashimi is handled like a master! Great new place.
I love coming to Kisoji s! Everything about this place is great, if you want a sushi restaurant that is a tiny bit more fancy( but of course still casual!) . Than this is the place for you! Great food and great atmosphere.
Almost perfection once again......
Weve been visiting this restaurant for years and the quality kept the same. Its always a very good experience.
Its ok.
Excellent!
Amazing restaurant. Best sushi I ever had.
This is the best japanese restaurant I have ever been too.Service is quick and the food is soo delicious and everyone are soo friendly it feels soo good to be here. It is worth driving to this place. Thanks for the experience.
Nice sushi spot. Service was friendly and fast. The venue was nice. Took a bit of gps to get to as its on the backside of the plaza, but overall really fresh and nicely flavoured sushi.
Love it here delicious and not salty simple but elegant foods. Will come back again to try different ones. My wife love those dynamite rolls. We could taste higher quality from this restaurant. Just perfect don t hesitate to try this place you won t be disappointed.
great restaurantand great food
I love this place. Its expensive but worth the money. I love their rolls, appys, and pretty much every other thing Ive tried from their menu, but the real draw is their ever changing specials. They go out of their way to find cool and unique things to present their customers. Most recently, they had Japanese A5 wagyu served with a tabletop grill to cook for yourself, but Ive also had uni(sea urchin roe) and bluefin belly here. The staff are awesome full stop. The waitress who has served us the last few times was fast, efficient, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about menu items, including the specials. The Chefs are awesome too and will often thank guests who compliment their food from their open kitchen. Its a very welcoming and encompassing experience.
Very good sushi, been a favorite stop in for many years now. High end quality with a great variety. A little plnore expensive then some locations but raw fish isnt something to cheap out on.
Some of the best quality Japanese food youll find around Metro Vancouver. Great service and atmosphere. Fantastic selection of Sake too. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. Dietary restrictions: Lots of great dairy and gluten free options.
Me and my friends were looking for a sushi dinner spot after our afternoon hike in the hills. Surprisingly, they were open! Me and my friends were so happy, so we told them a party of 4 people were coming and they were ready for us! We came around June, during the pandemic, and we were still in the safety mode of wearing mask, and cleaning ourselves with alcohol wipes. I loved how the restaurant purposely set up for pick up for food and on top of that, inside they were ready to take only a couple tables of people for dine-in. I love the atmosphere of the venue, and their placement of the tables to keep a safety distance. This was the first time back to eating sushi from a couple months of staying at home, and surprisingly, a sushi joint out here in Maple Ridge satisfied our cravings! The special rolls were so delicious, and competitively priced as well! I ordered 3 special rolls myself, and my friend ordered a don, and something else. It has been a while, but I remembered their rolls were perfectly rolled, and topped off with such amazing ingredients. More like, I was surprised a place like in Maple Ridge had such an iconic spot!! If I am caught out here again with my friends or something, I will be dropping by again for so
So far the best Japanese restaurant in the Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge area! Interesting menu with some different dishes. Everything we had was very good.
Very nice resturant. I didn t know there s a decent Japanese resturant in the neighbourhood. Food is fresh. Chief put a lot of effort to the ingredient accordingly. Service is very good! Will definitely visit again.
KISOJI is what I would call a hidden gem in Pitt Meadows! They not only have beautifully prepared dishes that look visually amazing but the flavours are delicious and well executed! If you ve never been here, then be sure to check it out! They have a great dining atmosphere too and is perfect for dining out
Best sushi around, its always fresh. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They know us by name . Ai is so sweet and always treats us like gold. We love this place.
Best sushi in Maple Ridge! Quality is superb! The service is attentive and extremely friendly. Highly recommend
The absolute best sushi I have ever had! Highly recommend this place. Can t wait to come back.
Best place in town! Friendly service, I give you 10stars
Love love love the oshi they have or any of the blow torch sushi
Incredible sushi my favourite Japanese hot spot with friends and customers! Try the sushi shooters. The staff so welcoming like family and innovative open concept decor
The presentation of the sushi was really nice. My boys really enjoyed the sushi and miso soup. The staff were very friendly.
We came here after hearing great recommendations from our relative. Kisoji does not disappoint! The restaurant is very clean and friendly. We ordered few lunch combos. The combos have lots of variations at an amazing price! The quality of raw fish is very good! We enjoy our meal a lot. The only complain is the tea is quite weak, and there is a small fee. We will def come back again
We love Kisoji! The staff are always very attentive and the sushi is tasty. Super fresh sashimi and fun things to try.
My brother took me out for dinner. We had the sashimi platter, wagyu uni truffle sushi, seafood and scallop inari, tuna shot and I couple of other sushi. Since we were having some beers, I was craving for softshell crabs. Though it wasn t on the menu, they went out of the way to make it for us which turned out to be the best softshell crab I ve ever had. Our server, Ai catered to everything to make our dinner satisfying including the platter from Japan that I really liked and my brother bought for me even though it wasn t for sale. Everyone else who brought our food were all super friendly and accommodating. This is now our new place for Japanese food, we would love to share a saki with Ai next time. Thank you for a birthday sorbet and for a memorable dinner.
I planned a dinner from Toronto a couple of weeks back for my family of six who were visiting Pitt Meadows for a wedding. We were mostly from Ontario and one person from New York. After reading the reviews, I learned that this restaurant was a good pick. A-MAZING!!! Wow. We absolutely enjoyed all of our plates. Jumbo Dynamite Roll and the Salmon Oshi are musts. Slightly torched is how they describe the technique- and let me tell you- kicks up the flavour incredibly. The staff were entirely accommodating - smiles everywhere. Clean facility. Very fair pricing. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.
The food there was great, their motoyakis are just out of this world. The service there was also a 10/10. Really recommend others going.
We chose Kishoji for our regular Friday Night. My wife and I hadnt heard of this place and were quite intrigued by the reviews. We arrived at around 600pm their busiest times, and were seated immediately. Ai took our orders, we had a promotion sake, along with Chirashi Don and a Sunomono Salad, and Gomae. Service was prompt and food very decadent. I even had a chance to inquire of their other combinations on the menu, with an explanation very satisfying. We would make Kishoji our alternate Japanese Friday evening restaurant of choice. We recommend this place, try them out. Thank you to the kitchen staff.
We just moved to Pitt Meadows and left our favorite sushi restaurant behind. This was the first place we tried and I was so amazed at how good the food was! Probably one of the best sushi places Ive been to. The family is so warm and inviting and made us feel welcome. We will be back soon!
I ve been coming here for at least the past 4 maybe 5 years. The food is always fresh, flavours are amazing, restaurant is modern and clean and the staff is so so so sweet and inviting. Definitely recommend to anyone that hasn t been!
Just sat down here for lunch everything and everyone are great, I would highly recommend this place.
The food was delicious and fresh! The service was also great (and we were with a large group).
Always so good!! Our Go to sushi place when in Pitt Meadows
We came here for my sisters birthday a little while ago and enjoyed a wide variety of food from their menu. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was also timely and attentive. We would definitely come back to try some more of their offerings
Horrible service. Took 25mins to get water, tea and a drink. Forgot my husbands food. Food that came has zero taste. Didn t take orders in sequence of customer arrival. Left us waiting for a very long time. Do not recommend. First and last time.
This place is a joke! Food had no taste, spinach was watery, service slow, forgot some of our dishes. Never going back.
Recently discovered this gem . Great prices and delicious food.
Just perfect . Will be back over and over again.
This was one of my favourite restaurants! So sorry to hear Ai is no long under your employ :( Ai and Jack made our meal more enjoyable! It wont be the same.
Ive been here twice and I love it. The staff are so friendly and fun but still very professional. The food is great and really nicely presented. The atmosphere is really comfortable as well.
Recommend beef tataki or any of the sushi. All of their dishes are very unique and authentically Japanese. The food absolutely deserved 5 stars in terms of quality, no doubts about it. The dishes are somewhat smaller than other Japanese restaurants, but overall it wasnt too expensive. BTW, they served blue fin tuna on the day when I visited, definitely worth trying out.
Good sushi A bit pricy though
A cute hidden sushi joint with passionate service & tasty food selections. Check it out if you are around the area.
Our favorite go to for Japanese food in Pitt Meadows. Sashimi and sushi are fresh and they have good selection including lots of rolls. Akso lots of other choices on the menu for appies and mains and they have a more extensive menu than other local Japanese restaurants.
Awesome experience had the chashu ramen (pork belly) was awesome broth hot and flavourful pork belly extremely tender and tasty worth every penny, first time ordering from this restaurant I will be back for sure
First time to dine at a restaurant months! It was great, the social distancing and Covid protocols were good, the food was excellent. Highly recommend going here.
Great food / great service
Hands down best most authentic Japanese restaurant in all of Pitt meadows and maple ridge. They have more traditional Japanese foods like okonomiyaki which is so incredibly delicious, if you haven t tried you must. This is a dish that you cannot get at most sushi restaurants. The mamaji roll is to die for and the aburi batera is a must order item every time we go. Sashimi is always fresh and beautifully displayed. The cost is a tiny bit more than other sushi places around but well worth the extra buck. The staff is so friendly and kind and they have amazing private rooms in the back for larger groups. They even have a patio in the summer.
Amazing sushi with high quality fish. Best sushi place in the lower mainland
My daughter and I went last night full of anticipation of a great dinner due to all the good reviews. We were sadly disappointed. While the salad was good and the deep fried ice cream was delicious, the rest of the meal was very bland. The Karaage chicken was completely flavorless and we had to ask for lemon, salt and terriaki sauce to be able to eat it. Same with the other plates we ordered. Just no flavor. Even the soya sauce seemed watered down. Very over priced for a disappointing meal. We wont be going back (unless we just want the deep fried ice cream).
Hands down best sushi in maple ridge/pitt meadows area! And freshest. Also kindest, always friendly staff from kitchen to front of house!
Best ramen East of Vancouver! Excellent service.
I was so excited to try here. Despite the lack of pictures I thought the reviews were very positive. $86 later and I can say I am really disappointed. The quantity was surprising small and the quality definately did not make up for it. The rice was on the harder side, the fish didnt seems as fresh as normal and some had odd flavours. Not fishy but odd- daikon, lemon, earthy? We also found extra stuff in our sushi which was not a good surprise hence the lower rating. It felt like the items had been sitting in a fridge for a while which might explain why the pork belly yakaton was cold. Not satisfied today and with so many sushi options out there I wont be going back. I wouldnt recommend here.
Overpriced sushi with terrible quality. We paid $47 for a party tray (47 pieces) takeout and they were the smallest rolls I have ever seen in my life. Do not trust Google reviews. My anniversary lunch has been ruined because of them.
Amazing ramen. Great service.
Incredible food ,service and value !
Excellent quality and very tasty sushi. The ramen is top notch and they dont charge extra for an egg as its already included. Always had a good experience here, the staff is very nice and take pride in their restaurant.
Best Sushi hands down!! Thanks guys.
How did I not know of this hidden gem for so long? Great food and service- Ill be back
So glad to be back for dine-in!! Absolutely love this place. Expense is slightly above what you will pay at nearby sushi restaurants but quality is above and beyond. This is definitely our favorite sushi restaurant, actually most likely favorite restaurant to go to for a date lunch or dinner. Service at this establishment is top notch, we usually get the same server who is always super friendly and attentive. Food service is super quick and fresh. Highly recommended to everyone!!
Amazing food, service like always and one of my favorite restaurants in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows area. Red Rooster Roll, Beef Guey, and avacodo fingers are my go to.
Excellent sushi! Enjoyed every roll we ordered, even the non traditional rolls. Service was also very friendly and quick. This is definitely a hidden gem in the area and even though I don t live close I ll definitely be back again. I d recommend this place to anyone!
Staff are suprr friendly and the food is very good.
Best team and food
Its so good! Food presentation and taste are really good and accomodation from their crew are very welcoming. Must try when dropping by pitt meadows!
Very good .
Kisoji has been our favourite sushi spot for years now. Their unique dishes accompanied by the usual favourites help to ensure there is always something for everyone. I ordered the sushi pizza as a joke one time and now it s my absolute favourite and always included in my orders. Being able to order online and book tables through the website is incredibly easy and useful. Keep up The great work everyone!
Delicious variations and speciality sushi. And such a cheery greeting! Made me smile
My friend took me there The sashimi was delicious, but the rice was a little hard. 4/28 I ordered autumn leaf rolls. It was a little warm, probably because it was grilled. It was delicious The natto rolls were so delicious! I would like to give 4 stars to this. 6/23 I ate cutlet curry Tonkatsu service is too good (lol) Its okay even if its a little thinner The owner is generous! (lol) The curry was not boiled so it was like a soup. I wanted a little more richness and thickness. It was delicious 1/25 I ate chashu ramen and it was delicious. I got it from a ramen shop around there. The coffee jelly I had for dessert was also authentic and delicious. Its simpler than a gote cake and has a good aftertaste, so its worth eating. Even though its a sushi restaurant, the other food is so delicious!
It is the best sushi I ever have! I am so glad I found it! It is of the same quality as a sushi place in downtown Vancouver :)
The best Japanese restaurant I have been to yet. I honestly have never been disappointed in my food here. Favourites are the sushi shooters, the sake battera roll, the Ika karaage, and the jack cha Han bowl. Also the sashimi is always so fresh and amazing. Service is always beyond excellent, so friendly and welcoming! Love this place so much!!!
It had been a while since we dined it, but my son wanted to go for his birthday. Kisoji did not disappoint! Service was so pleasant and attentive, despite it being a busy Friday dinner rush. Food was delicious and fresh, and disappeared quickly The new ceviche appetizer was amazing! Thanks Kisoji!
Best sushi around, lovely staff and i always recommend them.
Excellent sushi, very high quality food, friendly staff and really comfortable interior. They also followed vaccine passport protocol perfectly. Thanks!
I have been going to this amazing sushi restaurant for years and I have recommended them to so many friends and family and it just keeps getting better and more popular. The staff and the chefs are top notch people. Great vibe at this place and the food is incredible. Fresh, tasty and artistic
I just moved to the maple ridge/ Pitt meadows area and my friend who used to work here recommended it and it did not disappoint, food and customer service was top notch :) will def be coming back
Great atmosphere and great food. Also nice when they remember you when you come back!
Although tasty, kind of expensive. They also last called my table but kept serving others.. so that wasnt cool. Therefore, we ordered some extra things for takeout and the takeout sat for another hour and a half while we finished our meal..
Best sushi in Pitt Meadows! Amazing service every time, and spectacular presentation. You can tell they really care about what they re doing through the quality of their food. Highly recommend!
Really good always thanks guys Cant lose here, no matter what you pick.
Great dinner. Service was outstanding. They followed all the BC Health protocols and were very nice. Good food. Mango roll was very Tatsu
Nice restaurant
Excellent food and service.
The food was disappointing given it scores 4.6 on Google. Not sure if we ordered the wrong thing or what. We ordered the lunch bento. First, the four pieces of sashimi were still frozen in the middle. Second, the grilled miso salmon was bland. Third, the steamed rice was dry and non sticky. The only positive things were the service and the spaciousness of the place.
One of our favorite places for sushi. They re so kind when you visit and the food is delicious!
Fresh and delicious
Big serving of ramen
Delicious food served and made by wonderful people. Went for a family bday and the service was excellent! Would vote 6 stars if I could
Beautiful and clean environment. Staff including the team in the kitchen were very friendly. The food was incredible.
Coming again soon perhaps
Impeccable service and some of the best sushi Ive ever tasted. Highly recommend.
Excellent Japanese food. The okinomiyaki is one of the best Ive had.
This place is very precious find in Pitt Meadows! It is very authentic and the owner is very friendly. The chef is trained from Japan, make Nirigi fresh for every order, the price point is fantastic and everything on the menu is delightful. Last few days, I had the wild sake, yellow tail and toro nirigi, the miso cod and delicious Japanese cheese cake! I am trying to go for a protein packed carb light diet, except for the cheesecake treat, I find myself with very nutrition dense options here! Will try their miso salmon, mackerel, and other chef recommendations. They are so serious about their food, I cant wait to come back every time!
Service was great and they have real Wasabi!
Kisoji is the best! Food is excellent and so reasonable!
Simply Phenomenal
Might be the best Japanese food in low mainland. Very delicious food and an excellent experience!
Good food and nice staff!
Delicious food and a great space! This was some of the best sushi Ive had! Very fresh and tasty sashimi. The black cod appetizer was my favourite! The space is modern and clean. They accommodated a large stroller and baby easily. Highly recommend. I cant wait to go back!
Good food, and nice owner, had a good talk as he made us dinner.
My husband and I were looking for sushi, and we found this place on SkipTheDishes. They were new to Skip, and after looking up some reviews we had to try it for ourselves. We were not disappointed! The ramen came with the broth separate from the noodles, which I loved! It was so flavourful, and the pork belly was amazing! The tonkatsu dinner was beautifully presented, and my husband was so happy with the taste, the crispness of the pork, and the depth of flavour in the sauce. The little special nigiri pieces just exploded with different layers of flavour and texture! We especially loved the personal touch of the little bonus agadeshi tofu, and the sweet note it came with. All around a fantastic meal, and we will be ordering again! We have a new favourite sushi restaurant!
I love the food at Kisoji! My favoirite sushi restaurant in Pitt Meadows. Always fresh, quick and great service overall.
Best sushi place in pitt meadows or maple ridge hands down. If you re looking for more authentic style sushi it s the spot. Unlike the majority of other places in Van that load up with tons of rice and bad quality fish, they actually use quality ingredients. They got Japanese beer on tap as well which is a bonus. The staff are top notch and always friendly.
Delicious! Nice open atmosphere, large interior. Interesting special rolls and sushis. Worth the drive out here. Vegetarian friendly offerings!. Friendly.
Good, fresh sushi. The deluxe rolls are hit and miss. Udon bowls are awesome.
Excellent service. Quality food. Atmosphere was relaxed.
great that it was open for dine in lunch
I have no photo to share because the food were too good. (all food were consumed before the camera came out) I ordered a Chicken katsu curry, Okonomiyaki, and fried avacado. Geez, this place knows how to fry!!! Crispy outside, juicy inside. We were taking out and the food were already in a box for 10 mins before we surf them. We will definately back to try other food again!
Took way too time and the spicy tuna roll was not spicy.
Ordered from Kisoji last night. Usually our go-to sushi joint. Last night was disappointing. First, was told order would be ready in 30 mins...arrived at 20mins to find food ready - Great!...but not so great. When home, the warm stuff was found to be quite room temperaturey. The portions are much smaller than I remember. Teeny tiny portions for rolls. Just very disappointed with the product for just over $50 for 2 people. Taking a break for the time being. Halu, youre looking up.
Sashimi freshness heaven. Awesome hidden gem.
Best cucumber roll ever. I dont know how you make a cucumber roll amazing but theyve figured it out.
Great food, great prices, great staff! Edit after 3 years: Just incase you were debating coming here, I drive about 30 minutes to still come here, after 3+ years, I havent had one bad experience at Kisoji.
Best sushi in the area.
best sushi ive had in awhile
We have eaten there at least six times in the last 12 months Always great food, delicious, great presentation and great service.
Food and service you can trust! My first choice of sushi restaurant in TriCity and Pit Meadows for the last five years!
Amazing food! The bluefin tuna special was delicious!!
Always great food and excellent service. Our favourite Japanese restaurant
Service was prompt and very friendly, presentation of the food was amazing and the taste was done of the best Ive had. This is a hidden gem that should top the list of goodies to visit while in Vancouver.
The food and service were amazing!
Amazing place the service is top notch and the food is a perfect 10. Definently our favourite Sushi spot thus far...
Good food and friendly service
Very high quality
I was only picking up but it smelled so good
Really good food and service. Their Chashu Ramen is my go to Ramen when Im in the area for work. Its surprising to find good Japanese food like this is Pitt meadows, highly recommend this place
Tried this Japanese restaurant as I was craving for some ramen. Was a bit sad at first since they only have Chashu Ramen but when I tried it was really good. Ebi Gyoza is also a must try! Bento box not bad at all. Good ambience, very clean place and great service! Will come back to try their Wagyu A5 Ribeye next time!
Local Kitchen that always strives for high quality food and service. Local Fav
Just ordered take out. Not good at all. Won t be coming back.
Food here is pretty good. The best tip we have is that you can order zaru udon (cold udon with dipping sauce, tempura on the side) even though they dont have it on the menu.
