Never had Peruvian food before. This is a great friendly family business. We were helped by Pierina and she explained every dish and the food is presented very nice and tastes fantastic. Highly recommended

After visiting Peru and falling in love with ceviche I was craving it locally! I finally found Inkantu and I m so glad that I did, this place is amazing! The mixed ceviche and lomo soltado are excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially if you ve never had Peruvian food, they have pictures and can help explain the menu. Definitely try the pisco sour too, it is my favourite cocktail.

Delicious dinner! Staff is amazing and we had an incredible experience!

What a great spot! Everything we tried was so fresh and full of exciting flavours and textures. All six people I was out with had a different dish and we all enjoyed equally. We could really tell there is such a strong passion and love for the cuisine being served by all of the staff and it was so fun to learn about all the different ingredients we were eating as our dishes came out. I can t wait to come back to try more off the menu. I will certainly be dreaming of the fish ceviche until my next visit. From appetizer through to dessert, absolutely delightful!

I really enjoyed my meal here! The ceviche was delicious, and the pisco sours were spot on! I will def be back!

The empanada could have been heated in the oven instead of the microwave and should have included a small onion traditional sauce. The filling and the dough were absolutely perfect and meets to all my standards of a perfect empanada. The salchipapa should have included the traditional sauces such as huacatai, the fries and the hotdogs were a little bit greasy. The causa sampler was absolutely delicious and embodied all the flavours of the true causa criolla and brought it to the next level. The overall presentation was great. We were sad not to see lomo saltado on your menu.

Truly a delightful experience! Lovely service, nice ambiance and amazing food! The mixed ceviche was superb, probably the best we have ever had , the mini causa sampler was tasty and filling and the beef anticuchos were hot, fresh and delicious. 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, glad to see them doing so well!

I came with my family for the first time and we tried pork tamal and porchetta sandwich and it was AMAZING!!! 100% recommended . The restaurant is spacious with nice decoration and good Peruvian music. The service was also great. They were friendly and attentive. I ll definitely come back .

The first Peruvian restaurant I tried! It was really good and the daughter of the owner is super nice. Its just takes a long time for the order to arrive but it was worth it. I love the ceviche!! Que rico!!

The food here is great, however the service on this particular night was a little below average. We had a 7pm reservation, we were not seated until 7:25. My main came out before my wifes main and i was finished eating before her dish came out. Excellent food, they need to focus on service more and if they want to be an evening dinner and drink place they could use some help in decor....

Great ceviche!

Birthday early lunch - nice sunny spot with table by the window. Had: - beef heart (good, especially with sauces and potato was perfect, corn ok) - lucana milkshake (like an excellent vanilla shake) - tuna & shrimp causas (olive sauce was especially tasty) - chicken Aji (great though needs a bit of spice heat, a bit too much starch - either rice OR potato) Waddled away very satisfied! Also: very friendly and attentive service

The food was excellent. Different flavors and not too spicy. Also enjoyed the yucca fries with a yummy cheese sauce.

It was the first time to taste traditional Peruvian food, seafood cold cuts, pork stewed with potatoes, desserts, and the boss presented a seafood soup. Very special delicious food, great service attitude, The environment is very clean. It is recommended to start a day trip to Pitt Meadow after finishing your meal!

First time at Inkantu and will be back. We ordered the beef empanada, the tuna causa, the porchetta sandwich and beef heart. Everything tasted fresh, which is amazing! My favourite was the beef heart, well cooked packed with flavor. Highly recommended! A special gem in Pitt meadows.

We tried Inkantu as we recently visited Peru and wanted to see if it was similar to the amazing food in Peru. We were pleasantly surprised when we tasted the Ceviche dish as it was amazing. We definitely recommend going and experiencing a little taste of Peru. The staff were great and we were waited on by the chefs daughter. She was wonderful. Hopefully they will be licensed soon as it would be great to have a Pisco Sour with the dinner. Our only suggestion would be to dim the lighting slightly to create a bit more atmosphere.

Had an amazing dinner here! Family group of 5, made a reservation just in case and were seated promptly with no problems by Gracia. Gracia was awesome helping us with the menu until our waitress Pierina took over. Pierina took us through the menu more in-depth showing us photos and explained everything so well. Made us want to try everything she was telling us about from the drinks to the food. The drinks were so good and interesting. We tried the Chicha Morada, Quito Quito, and the Lúcuma Milkshake. All three were very good, the Chicha was like a mulled wine, the Quito Quito was refreshing and fruity and the Lúcuma Milkshake was like butterscotch. The food was delicious and so unique. We started with the Aji de Gallina Empanada and I will dream of it, until I can get another one. The dough smelled insanely good when it was set down and the filling was soft and well spiced. The Tamal was hard to follow that Empanada haha, but was still very good. We also tried the Causa Tasting they were soft and very flavourful. We preferred the shrimp and chicken the most, but the tuna was good too. The Scallops with Parmesan were buttery and cheesy, very good. For mains we went with Pierinas suggestion of three of their chefs specials. The Carapulcra Con Arroz was such a delicious, nice and light stew and the pork on top was out of this world good. The Chaufa de Mariscos was a great seafood fried rice, lots of seafood and the squid or octopus was cooked very well. We loved the Lomo Saltado nice and rich soya based sauce, well cooked steak, nice onions and vegetables. Pierinas mother makes amazing desserts. The Creme Volteada and the Tres Leche de Lúcuma were both delightful, quite light and not overly sweet, loved them both. Prices were reasonable and the food was more than worth it. Wish we had taken some photos ourselves to post, but we wanted to dig in so fast we forgot to haha Will definitely be wanting to go here again!

This Peruvian restaurant is worth the distance. I know theres challenges of sourcing authentic ingredients, but theyve managed to bring the bold flavors of Peru to the Pacific Northwest. I went for a brunch and took the pork belly sanguche - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The accompanying salsa with red onions and crispy bread was a perfect complement. The service is good. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with vibrant colors and lively music that transported us to the streets of Lima.

We tried Inkantu Peruvian restaurant in Pitt Meadows tonight, and let me tell you, it was worth every bite! The place is spotless, the decor is on point, and the owners are the kind of people you d want to invite to your next BBQ so kind and welcoming ! The food? OH MY GOD If you re into delicious, well-seasoned dishes and flavors that dance on your taste buds, this is your spot. Best seafood dish I ve ever had in Canada and we eat out a lot . We loved it so much we re already planning our next visit. Do yourself a favor and check it out you can thank me later!

I moved to Canada from Peru about 2 years ago. I really miss my food, and despite the fact there are other peruvian restaurants in Vancouver the flavor was completely different. HOWEVER when I went to Inkantu, i must said that I just felt like home, not only the enviroment and the people but the FOOD!!!!! the FOOD was amazingly incredible!! flavor, texture, temperature, waiting time, EVERYTHING was just PERFECT!!!!! Congratulations on the restaurant, the food and above all congratulations in bringing a piece of Peru to Canada! I could give you 10 stars!!!! And of course I will be back!

Atmosphere: upbeat with some good Peruvian tunes playing in the background. And not too loud either so you can have a quiet conversation while you eat. While the food is very high quality, approaching the level of fine dining, and yet they maintain a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Bonus: they keep this place clean and tidy, even the bathrooms are spotless. Overall: This is the best restaurant in Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge. Stop reading this review and book your reservation.

Very nice decor. Great service. The best part, the food is authentic Peruvian and the menu offers the classic dishes that made Peru one of the worlds top culinary hot spots. I hope people find this place and try it. Parking: Parking lot is a bit small, but street parking near by.
