19141 Ford Rd #101, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y 2P1, Canada
One star was for the food as it was decent although not fairly priced. If you can avoid this place, by all means please do. You can find other Pho restaurants in the area that are cheaper and just as good. If i can only give absolutely no stars for the service, i would. The server (and i would also assume the owner) did absolutely nothing but take our order, put the food on the table and take our money. He was extremely unwelcoming and downright rude. He asked us to sit at a table only to be told to sit at a different one. He would abruptly take your dishes without even asking. My mom was still working on her plate when he took it away. If he was indeed the owner, he'd probably do better. What a disappointment and a shame.
I just ordered a Pho Soup and two Spring Rolls to go, and although inflation prices have affected us all, the flavours were wonderful and to be expected. It was my first time patronizing this local restaurant in Pitt Meadows, and I would go back to eat there again. I hope to return to taste their coffee also! Happy to support local small businesses!
Very consistent food flavours profile. Authentic Vietnamese! Love the food here. Good service and friendly attentive staff.
Had the seafood soup. Very tasty. Good service. Looks pretty clean overall. Will be back
First time visit to DT pho in pitt meadows on Ford road. Was pleasantly surprised. Cute little restaurant; very clean, well maintained; and nicely decorated. Food was HOT, FAST and DELICIOUS. A bit pricey but hubby and I found the bowls were well stocked with pricier ingredients - so worth a little extra. We will go back. Back novembre 29th Awesome pho
The quality doesn’t match the inflation of the prices. The increase in pricing for 1 salad roll is ridiculous and the quality is less than or sloppy. The lid to the sauce wasn’t put on properly and caused a sloppy mess. Not impressed with this place anymore. Sad it’s the only Pho place in Pitt Meadows.
Worst Viet restaurant experience. Food was salty. The restaurant looked messy as soon as we walked in. The man (looked like the owner) just yelled across the room, telling us to sit wherever we want. We haven't even sat down before he started to ask us tea or water. We didn't even have time to react before he said again impatiently. We ordered the seafood noodle and a beef noodle, and a salade roll. We had questions about the salade roll but was rudely cut off by him asking, "That's why I'm asking you how many you want!" Seriously? And the seafood had only three shrimps and two crab meat sticks. The salade roll was tasteless and stuffed with 90% of rice noodles. The chili oil had hair in it, but at this point, we didn't want to bother complaining it. We just want to leave asap. Horrible. Never coming back and won't even recommend it to other people.
Came here after camping for some warm soup. I left very happy! Everything was good, from the tea to the banhmi. The broth was nice and perfectly salted with a clove flavour which set it apart from other places I’ve been to. Very very good. Don’t expect to be babied by the staff here - they are friendly and willing to chat, but have a job to do! Everything in the photo came out to $50 before tip. Enough for two hungry dudes. Will be back if I’m in the area again!
Great service and pho was very tasty Will be back!! Food
Best Pho in the tri-city area.
The house special was tasty but 17$ before taxes feels a bit high for pho
Super delicious meal, very filling and really friendly !
Great broth and Vietnamese coffee!
Crazy good ! Hit the spot and the quality was more than expected. Had the eye round beef Pho with wonton added you can t go wrong. Very clean place and nice staff, very fair pricing too.
Always a pho away.
Best Pho in Pitt Meadows.
Seriously the best Vietnamese restaurant I ve been to in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. The Bahn Mi sub was so delicious. My kids had the chicken Pho and were still talking about how good it was the next day. My husband had the beef stew and said it was one of the best he s ever had. The salad roll was delicious, fresh and the peanut sauce was so super yummy. I am so thankful that I can have good Vietnamese again. The service was great, more friendly family vibe. Booths were comfortable and just big enough for 4. We will definitely be back :)
I ordered their pho and found their broth underwhelming and a bit saltier in comparison to few of my favourite pho restaurants. They also overcooked the noodles so what I ate was kinda mushy. I find the house special I ordered pricey for $17. It didn t have beef ball unlike most places. Otherwise service and ambience was nice with great parking spots.
I rarely ever rate a restaurant but this noodle soup was the best Ive had in a long time. The broth was excellent and flavorful the portions of meat and noodles was above average and everything was cooked perfectly. Highy recommend this place dont let the look of the building and location fool you. Will definitely be back again for more!
Come here if hungry
Love this restaurant so much! It s truly my comfort food. The #34 is my absolute favourite. Great for take out or to eat in. And their bubble tea is so yummy! 100% recommend
I always go for the tofu bahn mi and it s consistently delicious every time! Our server was super nice too :) This place is always a go to for comfort food
Best real authentic Vietnamese cuisine in town. Very generous with the proportions, tasty and fresh.
Great quality pho at a family run establishment. Very fresh ingredients and friendly staff! Will definitely visit again!!
My favorite pho place. Excellent food. Highly recommended!
just ordered from doordash, my mom put in the special instructions that i was sick and they put a kool-aid along with our order. the staff are so nice, it was a good ending to a bad day. but when i do go in person the customer service is always amazing. keep up the good work!
Spring rolls were SO CRISPY! We got mango bubble tea , strawberry bubble tea, no 1 beef noodle, and no 3 beef noodle. All delicious!!! We just moved to Pitt meadows and this will be a regular dinner spot!
Pho is really good, however to charge $15 for a kids pho is pretty ridiculous. Should be ashamed of themselves. Im sorry but wont come back until kids prices are more realistic.
Nice Vietnames foods.
Really good, authentic broth with fresh ingredients. This is my go to for pho in Maple Ridge.
Good wholesome noodle soup. Lots of beef and fresh condiments.
Prices are inflated to high, pho was that cheap and easy meal...now its priced way to high for what it is.
Soup is amazing
A bit disappointing since the food and quantity is usually amazing here. I selected the option to swap noodles for extra vegetables, and this was all the vegetables for the whole pho the taste is great but it is very disappointing. I guess I should just order with noodles and take them out since no extra vegetables are added :(
Ordered takeout today, chicken tastes very tender and good, however, pork chop is too hard and less tasty. Probably wont order pork chop again. Price is expensive compared to other pho restaurant.
Best in the area, but mediocre overall. I find they put too little meat in their house special for the price they charge. It s $17 minimum for a bowl and it feels like 65% of meat I used to receive for $14 at other restaurants.
Food was good but service was very poor, my wife order a pop and never got it. Man just stayed behind the counter on his phone. We both ordered dishes for lunch and he just dropped them on the table and left.
Just tasty pho. On a picture pho, item #10 from the manu.
Still not a good place. Young waitresses dont care. Food was from a packet. Not going wvwr again.... good luck. Food
Food was really good . Service was fast and polite. Will be back to tey the rest of the menu
Best tasting pho restaurant.
Had the absolute best coffee here almost took me by surprise will definitely be coming here for a strong coffee.
Im conflicted when writing this reviews. I think the restaurant needs to decide what attributes or what type of Viet restaurant it wants to go with. Its fancier, nicer and also pricier than a casual, express kind of food places, but the atmosphere, food quality does not match with higher quality places. Pros: - Only Viet food in town - AC - Food delivered fast - Clean table, have sauces to go with pho - Broth is nice. Cons: - Pricier than comparable. 10 bucks for Viet sub is weird. Other items are priced at comparable or higher mark than similar Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver, despite this is Pitt Meadows. Seems to offer everything, but all are at higher price. - Noodle for pho is wrong. Using this type of noodle for pho however a common practice in Viet restaurant in North America. Unfortunately, this restaurant belongs to that type. - Loud talking noise from kitchen. This also typical with a particular type of Viet restaurant, where traditional ways beats Western adaptability. DT is half half, but not in a good way.
i love the hot and spicy beef pho and grilled chicken with rice. they have big serving, attentive staff, and clean place.
We are new to Pitt meadows and tried this pho place for the first time tonight. We got the wonton soup with noodles, beef tenderloin with rice, and spring rolls. Everything was so good! The place seems to be pretty clean, the staff have an older family type feel, and seem to be very busy with take out orders. I will definitely be coming back!
Always good, always consistent, and if u go before the dinner rush , we had the entire restaurant to ourselves:)
I ve been coming to this place for 15 years since I was 12. My first experience was amazing and I ve been comparing it to other Pho restaurants since and have always been happy to say it is as good as it gets in this area of the world. From the soup to the noodle plate to the coffee to the spring roll all of it hits the spot. I recommend to everyone I know who either loves Vietnamese food or would like to try it.
Update 2023: I was so hungry today so I decided to give DT pho another try. I previously tried once and told myself it wasnt worth the price. Verdict: a bowl of house special pho was 17 bucks. After tips it comes to 20 bucks. The noodle was fine, nothing special but doesnt taste bad either. Market price for a bowl of pho is 14.5 to 16 at best (poco and maple Ridge). A bowl of rice this place is charging 18. This is way too expensive given location and quality. I encourage owner to review pricing or adjust offering. As much as I love having a pho place in town, the pricing is disappointing.... I will not be returning for now. Portion is a bit small but the quality of food is on par.
Like another reviewer said, DT Pho has been a staple of my childhood until now. Havent been in a while since moving out, but a nice treat to myself while in Pitt Meadows! The broth is always spot on, and I love their lemongrass pork slices as well.
Finally! We tried every single pho place in Maple ridge and Pitt Meadows. This was the furthest from our house, but well be going here exclusively from now on. Best broth and best spring rolls by far. Lemongrass chicken was good too. For context we lived in Richmond and Burnaby before so we were spoiled with pho options.
Excellent as always
Great food! Friendly staff! Definitely going back.
I enjoyed the pho, bbq pork. And regular spring roll. I will go again not bad prices ordered take out didnt have to wait to long. Great customer service
Omg so good. The pho broth here is amazing
Not clean. I do not recommend this place.
This place is amazing, I m forever grateful for this place. My friends and I go here every week, the people are inviting and the food is amazing. Some of my best memories with my friends are here, thank you.
I went with friends. There was great service, good price range, delicious food and great portions.
Way over priced for a portion that was smaller than a lunch portion, I asked if the chicken was chicken breast and I dont know what it was but it looked gross and didnt even taste like chicken. I couldnt believe how small the portion was for over $16. Was my first time and definitely will be my last. When I spend Over 16 dollars for a meal I except to be full after and I was still hungry and couldnt even eat the chicken it was so gross.
Great spot for a quick bite to eat.
The House Special Pho is delicious!
Good pho soup. Try number 1 and get it spicy.
I just ordered a beef /brisket noodle spicy and reg. So I split the broth up. The serving is HUGE. The leftovers are for tomorrow and then some because there is so much goodness here. Try it out you will not be disappointed at all. Amazing
Been going there for years. Noodle and rice dishes are excellent. Tried a Banh Mi and found it not nearly as good as other items on the menu. Service is basic but dont let that detract from the food. Definitely worth a visit. Update: Went recently and was very disappointed. Broth was salty with little flavor. Also, the person who I think is owner or manager tried to help himself to 20% tip by pre entering the tip amount on credit card device. I think this is pretty sleezy. Wont be going back for a while.
They were very authentic
Great place. Great food
Great meal, fair pricing friendly staff
Bad customer service by the grumpy owner. Had to wait a few minutes before he even noticed I was standing in the restaurant waiting for him to be seated. And it wasnt busy either. They were only two other tables, one of which already had their food. Decided to stick with it anyways and order. Very little quantity of food, ledt hungry and had to grab Burger King after.
Soooooo delicious and huge portion of soup.
Delicious Vietnamese food. My favorite after trying it all over Vancouver. Be sure to buy a jar of Billys chilly oil! We cant live without it!
Nice and clean
Very yummy soup
Love this place, great food!
My favorite spot to get pho or any of their rice dishes, always hot and fresh, quick service and consistent.
We love this place. Pleasant, simple with delicious pho & spring rolls. We are really glad its in the neighborhood
Price does not match the food quality. They over cooked noodles.
The broth in the Pho is great. Nice and rich and flavourful. The pork Bhan Mi is great need to ask them to add the jalapenos though. Doesnt come standard. Quality food!
It is the only Vietnamese Restaurant in the area and it s overpriced if you ask me. And you don t get what you ordered.
I found the staff quite rude and the pho was just average can t compare to what they have in Vancouver
Foods always a plus whenever I stop by. Im happy this little spot managed to truck through the COVID year. For all the charm of its food though, Id give their bubble tea a miss; I found the flavour too jarring. Didnt discourage me enough to warrant deducting a star though!
Very good quality food, however....We were a little disappointed as we were going to a park with our takeaway. No napkins, no cutlery, no chopsticks. Now that it looks like we are pulling out of Covid, i made (a false) assumption we would also receive some (wood?) cutlery and napkins. My bad for not asking, their competition either includes it without asking or at least asks if it is needed. They are charging top dollar for pho - the most expensive I have seen so far. The flavor is good and you get good value. Speaking of expensive... if you want some hot sauce, an additional $1.05, and hoisin sauce an additional $1.05. No there is no hoisin sauce included nor hot sauce. A nice touch with these prices would be to include sauces as part of the dish cost. At the same time I dont begrudge anyone making money in these tough times for any restaurant. Just be eyes open on this place. Probably a better experience dining -in.
Always delish food. Been going here for 15 years.
Our son loves this place. When he gets to town from Chetwynd, he eats here virtually every day hes in town. He loves his Pho. He says this is the best Pho around. We shared a lunch and a dinner with him this visit and we really enjoyed the meals (as usual).
We just found our next go to pho! We had a favorite we used to go to called Pho Toan Thang. Unfortunately they have recently permanently closed. Fortunately for us we found DT Pho, our kids ordered the kids sized beef ball pho that comes with a juice box. My wife and I ordered the brisket pho. The broth was nearly the same as our old favorite if not better! They offer a delicious lemongrass Chilli oil, you will have to ask for. Which just adds to the great flavor of the soup. Price is fair for the portions. And the flavours are worth ever cent. So glad we found this restaurant! I highly recommend, if you have not been here yet.
HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED the Special Noodle Soup (Line 10 in Pho category). As a Vietnamese, I can say this is the best Pho Ive ever had since I got to Canada. 100% will come back
Very nice dishes. Yumm
No cilantro on a banh mi even though it says cilantro on the menu. Last few times they said we don t put it on then came back to say they don t have any. If you run out then let customers know there won t be any before they order. Or run to store down the street and get some. Banh Mi needs cilantro or it isn t banh mi. Other dishes were good.
Comfort food...great service
Having had many good pho throughout the Lower Mainland. This is my first pho in Pitt Meadows and even though it was takeout, I was surprised by the quality of pho here. It certainly have some of the quality I ve had in the city. Portions were adequate for the price, would ve loved a little more but certainly not little. Would definitely want to try this in person.
Really good, there are not many Vietnamese places in PM but this place is as good or better than some of the places Ive been to in Vancouver and Burnaby.
No frills, just good Vietnamese food.
Really meh! I got takeout and it had no bean sprouts, no sauces nothing. Super bland. I m dissatisfied for the price. Every pho I ve ever ordered has included sauces in a little cup and sprouts. No indication you had to request it. Never done that before,
Really liked there pineapple smoothy and chicken ball pho!
Had Bun Bo Hue & Pho - excellent tasting broth on both and definitely doesn t skimp on meat and extras. This Pitt Meadows spot can compete with any of the best Pho restos in Vancouver.
Good food, decent prices. Food does come out fast and hot.
Terrible!! noodles were cut into smaller pieces, chili oil was super old looking, no oil left in it, and over priced
I cant believe I have never tried this place before. Got pho and hot and sour seafood soup on the way to night shift. Excellent! Broth is delicious,i asked for extra sprouts, and sauces, they included everything with no mistakes. Friendly staff and decent prices. I will be back for sure.
Excellent service, quality, taste, value!
Love this place. Fast service, nice people, and always consistent quality. My favorite pho place in the Maple Meadows area.
We love this place, it never disappoints
I had been to this Pho restaurant before and thought I would try it again. However, this time it was extremely uncomfortable with the server and the cook arguing and screaming very loudly at each other from the lobby to the kitchen throughout our entire meal. In addition, the server got our order wrong and he was staring at us while we ate which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. We plan on never eating there again.
Yummy soup and friendly staff!
Great food. Friendly staff.
Delicious, best pho around by far. Cant go anywhere else
The food was very good! Granddaughters enjoyed there food. They are foodies!!!
Great food good bubble tea! Staple of pitt meadows
Family owned and operated. Best place in town for soup; most a beef based, but they also do a chicken and vegetarian base soup too. Rice dishes, rice noodle dishes, Vietnamese subs and a nice selection of appetizers including deep fried or cold fresh spring rolls that are both equally delicious. Coffee lover? Try one of their vietnamese coffees hot or cold: a nicely distinct flavour sweetened with or without condensed milk. They recently completed a reno on the dining room, making it a lot more family and gathering friendly. High chairs available for toddlers. Priced well for good sized portions.
This place is half a block away from my house so I know it fairly well. The food has always been decent and it still is but be aware that most menus found on the internet are out of date an they have increased the prices significantly on every item on the menu. In most cases +50% It used to be good enough, cheap, Vietnamese food. Its still the same minus the cheap part.
Amazing lemongrass chicken! Loved the wings and salad rolls and spring rolls too. They also have bubble tea ! 2 can dine for around $50 including an appy
This is the most expensive Vietnamese food Ive ever seen.
Our favorite pho place in Pitt Meadows. Very tasty broth!
My favorite Pho joint! Fast service, and great quality! Exactly what youd expect.
Great spice on vermicelli pork will have you coming back
Hot and sour seafood soup is awesome....ordering in an hour
Price did not match the taste. There are other places that offer better prices with better brooth. The vermicelli was a bit overdone when I had mine. I had a very underwhelming dish. It was my first time and will be my last.
Great fresh food and fast friendly staff.
Pho was great. Tastey broth. Properly setup to deal with covid.
The food was good but it was pricey. I saw their menu on Zomato and ordered the pork vermicelli. It said it was $9+ but when I picked it up I was charged $14.50! Plus I asked for hoisin sauce which was another .75c so incl tax I paid just over $16. I asked the staff about it and she showed me the receipt that it was $14.50. I used to live in Vancouver and one of the perks of Vietnamese food was the price. Seems outrageous to me.
Very friendly staff and delicious food every time. I especially love the spring rolls
Accepts all major credit cards as a payment option. Not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants do this and have good food as well. I highly recommend its sweetened coffee if youre sick of diluted Timmies coffee. The patrons are largely westerners too so Id take a wild guess that the restaurant nailed the taste with a westernized taste buds.
Average food and service.
The pho Noodles are a little less, but the soup is absolutley outstanding. Lots of flavour and tanginess along with the tender beef.
Best damn Pho in Pitt Meadows
Favorite place for Pho!! Appetizer wontons are super yummy too!
Good food HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Having lived over 3 years in Vietnam, DT Pho serves up the most authentic pho broth this side of the pacific. Genuine pho is a treat, and DT Pho delivers the delicious. My father, leery of noodle soup, opted for grilled pork and rice with spring rolls. Never an adventourus eater, he wolfed down his meal and commented on clear soup. Simply fantastic Vietnamese fare.
Quiet, relaxed environment, great food, decent prices. Exactly what I am looking for. I am a regular.
Its my favorite PHo place is the area. Its a bit pricier than other places, but the quality justifies it, especially the rice dishes. So many Pho places put the focus on the soups and neglect everything else on the menu to the point of why even bother having it. I love the soup, but I also love all the other Vietnamese offerings. This place is well rounded across the board.
Lots for the price and good
We love this amazing little mom & pop gem in Pitt Meadows! Wonderful service and a hard working family business! The broth is authentic and delicious! Support our local businesses and stop by for delicious Pho!
Great
Really like this place, simple and super
amazing food and really sweet staff
I would recommend the rice dishes. The spring rolls that came with it were perfectly cooked. The chicken was done well and marinated good. The appetizers are well made as well. Will definitely be going back.
Food is definitely not authentic and very poor quality and service. Do not eat here !!!!
I was not impressed. I expect honest, fair staff, prices, and food. I received NONE of this and instead received overpriced food that was cold, bland, and burnt. I took a Chance with this restaurant expecting to have a nice Saturday lunch and honestly had my day turned upside down never again!
Over priced, significantly smaller portions compared to most Vietnamese restaurants out there and mediocre broth. Probably the worst pho Ive tried to date. Will not be returning.
Very flavorful. Quick service and good customer service.
Tasty pho ,and friendly service i been there for couple years for pho ,
Really tasty food! I ordered marinated pork with rice and spring rolls today, and it was wonderful. The service was also very good!
Great little Pho place. Definitely recommend.
Broth good but beef and noodles too chewy. Also a distinct lack of tendon when you order it with tendon. Too bad.
Good pho - simple and nice. Wed eat here again.
ALWAYS enjoy pho at DT pho. Always good.
delicious! i ordered their #12 house special pho. pretty sure their pho soup base has no msg. gotta try their chili oil as well! in fact it was so good i bought some to bring home.
Great Pho but the price has been creeping up in recent years making it less affordable.
Food is delicious
Portion is really small for the price.
Good quality food. Very tasty. Portion is smaller in comparison to other places I have gone to but keep coming back because of the sate (chili oil) that they have. Tastes great and I love my spice. Just wish portion was bigger. When I order takeout, the soup is never filled fully and the noodle portion can be quite small.
Broth and Beef Brisket was absolutely wonderful, better ingredients than most Pho places, will go out of my way to return again! Good work guys!
This restuarant used to be my favourite, but has gone down hill. Wont be back.
Yummy
Service was unique and very enjoyable. Food was awesome.
Lots of tasty pho, good service, coming back
A bit pricy. Good taste and quiet environment
Great pho restaurant nestled in Pitt Meadows right across from the library. They recently renovated and upgraded their seating to comfy booths which gives it a nice vibe. The owners/operators are very friendly and the food is always good as well as made in a timely manner.
Good food and good prices...Henry is amazing
Excellent spicy and sour fish soup!
Nice food and warm service, best Vietnamese restaurant, even it took me 45 minutes driving from Burnaby to port Moody.
This place is great! Awesome food and quick service! Our apps have barely been on the table before our food arrives. Best pho in the meadows.
Staff were very friendly, and the broth in the pho was delicious
Absolutely fantastic
Family favourite place to go!
Best Pho in town!
We ordered today to go for the first time for lunch and the food was wonderful and the serving size were large. To quote my husband there is enough food for two......almost (he didnt want to share). The bubble tea and smoothies you can get with or without the tapioca balls. It was a wonderful lunch.
OMG I love this place, the food is delicious. If I had the ,one year to eat there every night I so totally would.
Came accidentally across it and thought to try it out. Friendly people. Ok ambiance inside. Quiet place. Parking a challenge. Decided on take out. Found selection limited and in general pricy, for what you got. In comparison to other restaurants, 3 star.
Soup has a funny flavor
I only had their house special, but the broth I it is some of the best Ive ever tasted. It was specifically the beef broth. I would be one to use it at home, as they sell it with their food, or but as is.
I enjoyed the food very much , I can see myself going there again
