The barbecue was delicious my only complaint is I should have checked my order before I left because I ordered a small slaw and they gave my potato salad instead. And the size of the small containers is absolutely ridiculous for a 1.99. I won’t order a small ever again.
I usually have a great experience here and leave a good tip. The last couple of times I’ve been here they have severely declined. I wish I did not leave such a large tip only to get home and realize my nachos barely had any chips and the portion size was way smaller than normal. I got two turkey nachos. One of them had maybe 5 chips in it and the other had barely any as well. I will not be coming back here when the ashland city Witt’s is just up the road and they never fail to actually give you enough for the price.
Stop for lunch at drive thru BBQ sandwich and small baked beans. The top bun was as hard as a brick there is no way the person that made it was not aware of it,and thats just a shame I WANT go back. Good luck staying in business runing them off with bad food
The number three turkey plate was delicious. The mac and cheese and green beans were so tasty. Great customer service.
We ordered a few different items. The loaded baked potato was really good. The beef plate was also good, and the sides were small but good. The ribs, however, were not good. Way to fatty and dry at the same time. Bought a full rack and was barely able to eat much of them. The dining area was freezing and extremely quiet, with no background music or anything.
Great! place to get some grub. Highly recommended for anybody on a tite lunch schedule but looking for great BBQ and soul food. 😋 great people with plenty of plates to choose from. ❤🖤 will definitely be coming back!!
Fall off the bone ribs 😋 This Whitt’s location is new and way easier to get in and out... for now. We called in our order for pick up and they had it ready in the 10 minutes it took us to get there. The rib plate is a good price with a a decent amount of meat. Very consistent, the ribs are always fall of the bone and juicy! I got home and added a side of sugar free bbq sauce but they didn’t need it. They were finger licking good!
Paid $11 for this... The cornbread was good, the baked beans were decent, and that's about all the positive I can say... The pork was pretty flavor less, and I'm not sure what the salty vinegar liquid was, but it's not BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese tasted like straight melted Velveeta. The banana pudding was a good size, but tasted like jello pudding with a little banana. Wish I would have gone to Arby's for BBQ instead...

Loaded baked potatoes are the best! The girls were sweet and very nice! Clean lobby and bathrooms. Will definitely go back.
Whitt s BBQ is the best!! This is not you ketchup based BBQ, its more of a Carolina type BBQ. Food is amazing!

The food here is great, as always. The service was pleasant, as usual. The atmosphere is...non existent. Its just tables, food, and whoever youre with. No music, TV, white noise..nothing. Its not a complaint, just an observation. Some early 00s Muzak would do well here.
Got here just before closing time. They still took care of me and didn t make me feel like I was inconveniencing them.
I always get a loaded baked potato its too expensive now I used to get it once a week now once every month or so
The potatoe wasnt done, the green beans taste like their out of a can and they wanted to charge me extra for a few pickles for my pork sandwiches. Ill never eat there again
Was terribly disappointed the amount of pork on the sandwiches was about the amount of beef on a Krystal hamburger not even A third of what you get on them at whitts in springfield this was my first and last trip to the whitts in pleasant view even though it is closer to me !!!

Had several issues here before. Last time they forgot my mac and cheese. This time my boyfriend asked for no jalapeños on his barbecue nachos and there was probably about 20 and barely any cheese. My pork sandwich wasn t good and I pulled a LONG HAIR out of it. 0/10 recommend.
Flat soda, dry meat and bad customer service. Go buy fast food BBQ it s cheaper and tastier than this dump.
How is this place in business? Ribs way over cooked and inedible. Family beef meal consisted of tasteless mush and wonder bread with small side of tasteless Mac and cheese no napkins one fork you could have a better bbq experience at mcds with chicken nuggets and there bbq sauce huge waste of 55 dollars

Would have liked to try it, doors shut and locked cleaning up 15 minutes before published closing hours. Wouldve been happy to get food to go after a 15 hour day...wasted my time here.

Worst Whitts location Ive been to. Ordered 1/2 chicken today and it tasted like Vinegar, nothing but, Vinegar..... Have also been here previously and the pork sandwich is about 1/3 of what you get at all the other Whitts locations Ive been to. Wont be giving this location anymore business.
If you want the worst ribs in the world, go here. They were black with burn. I bought a full slab and had to throw them away . Will never go there again!

Food was ok. But the last 3 times we have gone through the drive thru, even though we asked several times for bbq sauce, we never get it. Who goes to a bbq restaurant and doesnt get sauce.
My daughter and i went through the drive thru all was good when we ate the loaded potato we had food poision we have to miss work and school because of this i knew aomething wasnt right! Shes 6 and im 33 and we are healthy we been throwing up heading to the er and got 2 days of absence smh never again!!!!!!

The bbq is absolutely delicious! Turkey and pork. Next time I wanna stuff my fat face with bbq I m going back to Whitt s. I ve been to this place more times than I can count and that s a lot. I ve been here about 8 times now.
Pulled pork sandwiches are so fresh!! Great place to get a quick bite or order a family pack to take home. Awesome BBQ
Excellent food and customer service
I notice im just a kid, but this food is amazing! I read a few reviews one had no comas like dude a 10 year old started to corecct you. Ive been here a few times and they tend to run out of food a lot. But its the food and popular stuff, so me and my family understand! Not to mention, the ice they have is the best! Better then sonics, and my sister used to work there so ive had my fair share of it. The pepole are always nice! Not once have I ever experienced bad service whe going with and adult or my sister. Some pepole are overly dramatic about the pork having no flavor, but every time I get it hits perfectly fully of flavor is live right next the a bernets (My sister works there) I used to only know what their BBQ tasted like, but now I only eat wits I suggest it foe somebody who wants to try something new!

This place has the best workers who are kindhearted and hardworking. The food quality is very tasty.
I give Pleasant View location a 3.5. I ordered the beef barbecue 4-5 sandwich size to go. The food was good however the container was not full. When I spend that much for barbecue I expect what I pay for: a full container. I was not happy when I arrived home & opened my order.
Walked in to order, was ignored, so went through the drive through. Got back to work with food and no sauce. Apparently you have to actually ask for the BBQ sauce even though it s a BBQ joint. The food was mediocre, and they give you the smallest portions possible. All around disappointment.
We went there on a Wednesday evening at 7:15. There was a sign on the door that they closed the dining room at 7:30, if you can call that a dining room, and they wouldn t even let us sit down, because they had to mop the floor . It was stark, lifeless, with no homey, barbecue type touches at all. The staff were OK, but it looked like Mom and Dad had left the kids in charge. They were out of about half of the menu items. The ribs were tender, but way too salty. The vinegar sauce was watery and not tasty. We had to ask for bbq sauce. So, after standing outside and having our dinner on the hood of the car, there wasn t even a trash can. Can t recommend this place.

Between the two of us, we tried the pork, the turkey, the coleslaw, the baked beans, the potato wedges, the cornbread, the pickles and the sauces. We liked the baked beans and the cornbread, but the rest ended up in the garbage. Yuck!

Went through the drive thru. Staff was very nice and service was quick, but I was highly disappointed with the hot wing quality. They were very dry and tough and had no flavor at all. The sides were good, and I enjoyed the corn bread. Wedge fries were a little small, but flavorful, and the potato salad was good. For my first experience with a Whitts it left a lot to be desired however as my main course wasnt good at all.

My family was excited to see a BBQ place open in Pleasant View. We ordered $60 worth of food and what we received was not worth that amount of money. They were out of Chicken and Beef so we got one rack of ribs and Turkey. The Corn Bread slices were tiny and not corn muffins. Bottom line is the food is overpriced and not worth the money.
Paid 7 dollars and I got a tiny bbq and a laughably small side of Mac n cheese. The bbq was flavorless. I also noticed that they normally put mayo on their bbq... very strange.

My mother and 2 of my daughters went here after the car show in the villages. Arrived at 7:20pm to be told at the counter the dining room was closing and it would have to be a to go order.. It clearly shows closing at 8pm on the front door. I understand that people want to go home but posted hours are posted hours. They just ran off a lot of my familys business.
Service is not professional or helpful, just young kids not really caring, first job, etc, food was average to good.
Great barbecue and service
Good service...but do you think you could cook your baked potato a little longer. I have gotten potatoes there 3 times and they are just to hard.
