Hangry Joe's Pleasant View Hot Chicken & Wings in Pleasant View

First time eating here we placed a to go order by phone! They were very helpful helping me with the menu. When the girls got home with the order I couldn't believe the amount of food that came with it. I got the sandwich and the kids ordered the wrap, which they said were amazing! U won't leave hungry and they got everything just perfect. We will be coming back.

I preordered several meals for an office lunch. We had a few different options of boxed meals. When I arrived a few minutes earlier than my chosen pick-up time, the food was being freshly prepared. They had it all packed up exactly on time, and it was hot & delicious when I got back to work with it. I had the chicken strips with medium spice. It was not too hot, just right. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and I think the quality & quantity was well worth the price.

Disappointed to say the least. I've given this new spot in town 2 tries and the food has been wrong both times. First time was a miscommunication, as their menu online is different from in store. Online it says you get 4 tenders, in store you only get 3. The second time, my wife asked for no spice and they made it spicy. However the biggest problem is the price point vs quality of the food. I took myself and my wife out to eat here and between both of us, it cost $45. $15 for 3 tenders is absolutely absurd in this small town of Pleasant View. You could get away with that in Nashville but bringing that level of expense to a small town is crazy to me. Now if you got a ton of fries or sides, $15 would be reasonable but you get about the same amount of fries that you would with a large Chick-fil-A fry, which still isn't a lot. As for the taste of the food, it's very mid but considering the price point, it's under par. It feels like more of a gimmick rather than a restaurant with their whole spice level thing. Their hottest level of spice apparently requires a waiver which just feels gimmick-y. Even the spice level of the mild is decently spicy, therefore feeling like there's no good middle ground. The spices they put on their food also doesn't really have a taste like most hot foods do, it just tastes hot. They even put the hot spice on their Mac and cheese (something they don't tell you about beforehand) and the mac was undercooked. All in all, my wife described it best as "eating at Dairy Queen with Ruth's Chris prices" and I agree. Drop the price to match the area and quality of the food, and I think this place could do great. Every time I've been by that place, it's pretty empty on the inside which isn't a great indicator for a new restaurant. HOWEVER the milkshakes are pretty good and the customer service is good as well. But milkshakes and customer service won't keep me coming back.

I ordered some food to-go. All in all, I was less than impressed. I ordered a few extra sauces that weren't in the bag, my wife's sandwich didn't have slaw on it, the website really needs to clarify that "hangry sauce" is a very mustard-forward sauce. Not everyone likes mustard.. The biggest question I have is why would you put saucy wings in a paper box where the bottom literally can (and will) fall out. Not a well-executed situation. The mac and cheese was good tho, and the counter girl was nice. I might give it another shot down the road, but not any time soon.

I get they are the new kids on the block and there will be some settling in on various areas of the restaurant but they sure are doing a good job so far. Food is amazing! Again, some small improvements are needed. We didnt get out syrup on our first order but we had some at home. Waffles were still delicious. Keep up the good work and quality food. Prices are a bit high but the quality is there.

Ate here twice today apparently I was the first person to order my tenders with angry hot level chicken. It was delicious. I think most people there were intrigued by my heat tolerance. The balance between heat and flavor was amazing. I had people coming to my table asking me questions about how I can tolerate the heat and how I would compare it to other hot chicken spots. The chicken is fried perfectly and is juicy and not dried out, the waffle fries are awesome. Just know that if you get the Angry Hot level they make you sign a waiver. I will definitely be a regular. I just hope they don’t make me sign a waiver every time. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Fantastic chicken! Absolute best in Pleasant View! They have several different sauces and flavors to choose from. They have chicken sandwiches and wings as well as wraps and salads. They also have chicken and waffles and milkshakes!!!

So far this is the best chicken I've had in a long time! Though the constant delays were a small issue, the end result was a very delicious meal at the end of the day. Included with that, theybare very knowledgeable about allergins. Only small issue was I didn't get the sauces that I paid for, but the food was still well worth it in the long run!
