I note my stay which lasted 1 hour in this restaurant in Fairview... my friend paid for our group of 4 friends for $100 exactly it took firstly half an hour before we were served and secondly I would have preferred to have a refund that having received the dish because the dish was not cooked everything was dry the poutine the fries were not good bag would have just been soaked the sauce also the dish to ensure that I had to go to the hospital for my liver and I had to have an operation I had stomach aches all day vomiting honestly I rate 0!!

Monday morning June 3 The lady at the cash register adds a $10 tip under the table. She tried to scam me and I dont know how many people she scammed. She directly clicked on no bill once she finished paying for no bill that I see. I was order number 1 that day then she deleted it and redid it so as not to leave a trace. Had a smoke meat sandwich 2 weeks ago and spent 2 days in hospital with food poisoning. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. Pls. make sure servers wash their hands before each client. Using the same disposable gloves for several clients is not adequate.

Ordered for the first time a Ruben sandwich and it was cafeteria food. Processed Swiss cheese and my bread wasnt even toasted and my side of coleslaw was more then what was in my sandwich. Never again

Had a fantastic Ruben, the smoked meat is something else. The fries too, wow! My new go-to when Im charging my Tesla at the Fairciew charger! In the faiview food court, which is the only downside for atmosphere! Kid-friendliness: Its a mall, keep your kids in sight. You dont have to worry about screaming or crying again, its a mall! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, fair bit of travel from the parking to the food court. However there is handicap parking on the south-east end of the Fairview.

Disappointing. Classic burger trio. Hardly any condiments. No ketchup mustard mayo onions. Only 3 drops of tasteless sauce. Large, half-cooked peanut oil fries. The smallest liquor I have ever seen. No sauce for the fries, no salt and no straw (you have to ask). In the end, only the dubious meat has any taste...taste of pre-made and frozen meatballs that you buy at the grocery store. Sorry to be harsh, but this is my honest opinion. SECOND ATTEMPT, bacon poutine. The equivalent of a slice of bacon, max. Too much sauce. And why display beautiful twisted fries and then serve large rectangular potatoes, soft and very ordinary? I learned my lesson well this time.

I was an early adopter of this location and frequented them several times when they first opened. Yesterday I passed by for the first time in a while and was very disappointed in two critical changes. First, the poutine that came with my smoke meat sandwich combo, which I paid extra for, was tiniest poutine. This a big change from the large poutine they used to offer when they first opened. The fries also seemed substantially different than the type of fries they used to use. Second, and this is critical, the prices have been hugely jacked up from when they first opened. Almost $30 for a sandwich and poutine from a shopping malls fast food hall, insane. I know prices everywhere have been increasing, but when you jack your prices AND reduce the size of the meal, you lose all value.

The good: I REALLY love their fries. I rarely pig out on french fries but after eating here twice, theyre really good (light and crispy without being soggy / greasy like at Lafleurs or Bellepro). Its a far cry from Schwartz or any real Montreal deli but its a food court deli counter after all. The smoked meat tastes sweet, which Ive never tasted before. Dont order what they call roast beef. They slather it in a sweet, mayonnaise based sauce which makes it taste NOTHING like a roast beef sandwich. I couldnt eat it. Anyway, the staff are nice and try to make things right for you. For a food court lunch, you can do worse. A little pricey for the quality though - just my two bits.

I have never tasted anything so nasty . Got charged 45 $ for 2 pogo poutine combos. the sauce was disgusting . The pogo tasted like oil that had not been changed in forever . And they put almost no cheese on my poutine . What a disappointment .

The food is good and *Halal*, the waiting time varies but is okay, the staff is friendly and passionate, the ingredients are amazing, the food presentation is awesome, the portions are good, nothing to complain about. Definitely worth the price. If its your first time here I definitely recommend you try the royale burger or royale poutine. Both are amazing dishes.

The menu is misleading. The club sandwich says it has bacon however it ended up being turkey bacon. If I had known I wouldnt have made the choice I did since I dont eat turkey. From the reviews I see that they are halal however nowhere do they specify this. Also, we ordered a smoked meat sandwich and there was a hair in it..all in all, not a great experience.

I used to think this was the best smoked meat place in the west island.A new place giving great value. Prices remain steady but I definitely suspect they took off a few smoked meat slices it seems from the almost cold sandwich on cold rather dry bread accompanied by completely flat pepsi. It led me to conclude its the last time. Dont ever skimp on the meat. Just charge more thats all.Sorry , service was excellent and salad was ok though

Had smokemeat club special for lunch was good but they put some salami with the smokemeat I guess as a filler. Curly fries good as was coleslaw and pickle. Resto. has a good selection of salads aswell.

Way overpriced for a small wrap and a salad

So on July 27th, it was a toss-up between this place and another one in the food court. We should have stuck with the other one! Waited almost 10 minutes while the lady behind the counter slowly prepared two poutines for people ahead of us. She quickly glanced up at the line (and us) and looked back down, no acknowledgement, not a be right with you.... Nothing. Eventually two guys appeared out of the back, one who couldnt have prepared a sandwich any slower. Perhaps remove the ear bud from your ear and get off the phone when serving customers! Food: Curly fries were cold, no surprise based on how long the 2 sandwiches took to prepare. Terrible service. Its not a difficult job, provide staff training, or fire them and get some decent people in there.

First time, what a great place in West Island for smoke meat...very impressed

Went for the first time last week and waited over 40 mins for our food. They also got our order wrong, so we had to wait another 10 mins for them to fix it. The staff seemed really scrambled and disorganized. The food was good, but I think their employees could use some better management or training. I dont think I would return.

I was so excited about trying this place as I had read all the positive reviews on West Island Restaurants and was so looking forward to a good smoked meat sandwich. Unfortunately, both my husband and I were very disappointed with our experience. The smoked meat was very tough, You really had to bite down hard to break it apart (maybe because it was 45 minutes before closing and it wasnt the freshest?). I really wanted to like my sandwich but after only consuming half of our sandwiches, we lost our appetite for the rest due to the toughness of the meat. Not sure if we would give it another go.

Quality food for a reasonable price along with friendly costumer service. Been eating their smoke meat for years now and have never gotten a bad experience. A consistently pleasant spot for a quick bite. 5 stars! Strongly recommend for all my foodies out there!

The workers handled my food without the use of maskes and repeatedly touched their faces in the process, I am incredibly disappointed and will not return. If they dont follow simple mask rules, what other hygiene rules dont they follow?

Food was amazing! Unfortunately it was a real hassle to get into the food court with the vaccination passport. Had to buy food first, then fumble for phone with food in hand and then pull out physical ID. Feel bad for the owners there...people may be hesitant. Restaurant was definitely worth it though.

A disappointing meal. I was actually really excited to have a smoked meat sandwich as I hadnt had one in awhile. so I opted for a trio (fountain soda, the sandwich and Fries). Needless to say I was disappointed, the meat in the sandwich had no flavour whatsoever (the rye bread actually had more flavour) and had the consistency of a fake meat like a deli loaf, and was served to me luke warm, at best. Also, the fries were also served to me cold, not to mention the werent crispy but soggy and dripping grease. Was also served with coleslaw and a pickle both were very limp and obviously not fresh. Pretty disappointing especially since the trio cost close to 19 dollars after taxes. What a waste of money.

Oily, floppy fries. Undercooked bacon. At least 2 hairs in it. $15 after tip (wish I didnt tip now). I usually dont bother reviewing places I eat at but I felt obligated after paying for this sad poutine. Please try harder if youre going to charge those prices. Edit for owner: it was indeed the Pointe-Claire location. I brought it home and had to transfer it to my own dish because the container was covered in oil (which I am guessing went into my car seat also).

Updated: Rock N Deli in Fairview Pointe-Claire is a would recommend restaurant to grab good delis, burgers and sides. Their fries are superb, thin and long. Their sandwiches and smoked meat sandwiches are delicious and cooked to a point that it tasted good to me. It was a little bland but not its not a big deal. Only price is what prevents me from going there. A little pricey for my liking but they have good employees depending on the day and time but other than a great place to Eat in the mall. Also, the service is decent but they should feel present to be there. A would recommend to all.
