The food was extremely disappointing. The broccoli and beef dish had only two small slices of beef, and the noodles were the worst part — completely bland with no flavor at all. It’s definitely not worth the price. I also tried the chicken, which was just alright, maybe a 2/5 at best. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Food was very tender , after eating our meal (sweet and sour pork +general Tao chicken ) we were very impressed. Normally restaurants that serve food in bulk like that have dry food. However, we were pleasantly surprised . The price was very suitable as well for the portion . The meat was very saucy and the veg was very nicely cooked . Was very good service, price , and food portion& quality . :) thank you very much !
Former employee , Would not recommend this place , previous owners quit , the place is now owned by a new Chinese gentleman which brought down the food quality down a bit. On a good day the honey garlic taste great and it looks fresh but everything else is not that good anymore unless you order your food at exactly the time they open cause that's usually when it's fresh and properly prepared. His first couple weeks as owner he cut everyone's hours so they would be force to basically quit and then he brought people from his other businesses to work with him (all Chinese people btw) not surprised at all and now he only hires asians. Portion sizes from what I've heard aren't good anymore. the lady working during the week is rude, can barely speak French and her english not that great so people have trouble ordering sometimes cause she doesn't understand them. Shame cause this place used to be a great place. Hopefully things change in the future.
if I could give zero stars for this place, I would I got food for me and my grandpa. I spent almost $45 for two meals and the food was absolutely cold and hard. I will never be stepping a foot in this place ever again hopefully it rots in hell.
I waited 15 mins just to get my meal because they didn’t have chicken when I came to pickup my order. I ordered the two option meal so i could get rice and a mix of chicken, i got a normal portion for general tao, and they gave me three sweet and sour balls. when i asked her why she gave me so little she told me that that’s the portion and not to order it next time. horrible service, I will never be going there again and i suggest no one else with an appetite does either. honestly their reaction to THEIR mistake was the most offputting, no where online does it say the chicken will be filled not even half way, and she spoke to me with attitude as if that was a normal portion size. by the time i finally left with my half full plate of food it was cold not to mention.
You may ask yourself, why is this reviewer doing a food court fast-food Chinese restaurant? Well, here's why. This place reminds me of Panda Express for one second reason: it's a staple of any mall in Canada. Get that two-choice with General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour pork, and fried rice; you'll be in for a mild treat. Don't run; walk to this place.
A regular fast food Chinese restaurant. Nothing fancy. Same quality you can find at any similar restaurants. Meal portions are ok. Not sure about the hygiene level of this place. Prices are high due to inflation but also higythan the quality of food served.
I went to the Fairview branch it's a small counter with many choices but not a vegetarian options!!! I tried their Noodles & the spring rolls. The noodles was good but it will be better if with vegetables 😊 I liked their spring rolls. Hope they can offer a vegetarian options to come back again!
Terrible Salty Food. The quality of the food was shockingly bad, leaving me with a headache by the end of the meal. For the price I paid, I expected so much better. The disappointing quality and poor value make this a place I absolutely can not recommend. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last.
I got food poisoning here!!!!
Great services and great food , we had very good services by Jennifer.....thanks for all the team .
I received very bad service from the Chinese old lady today. She completely ignored me and my dad and directly went ahead to serve the guy behind us. I raised my voice and called her out loud. She eventually stopped serving that guy because he told her to serve us first because we came first. What a joke.
The food is not freshly made. It tastes like its frozen or pre-made and has been sitting under hot lights for hours. Please hire a real cook if youre going to charge money for Chinese food!
The food is much fresher then it used to be and im glad i gave this place a second chance. The staff infront are very helpfull in answering my questions. Keep it up guys!!!
the food is disgusting. meat. like I was eating balls of flour. the noodles smell like old food. I do not recommend the food is disgusting. meat. like I was eating balls of flour. the noodles smell like old food. I do not recommend
Honestly i love manchu wok but I remember when the cafeteria was upstairs the portions were huge, almost over flowing. Now they are super tiny for a 20$ meal.
This is the best fast food Chinese meal to have in a mall. Portions are huge, prices are affordable, and the food is always fresh.
Very good food!
Very good food, great service.
I dont recommend you go its really horrible and basic
excellent meal
The woman taking my order was very disrespectful. Bad customer service and food was decent for the price.
Poor servings. There is literally more meat than anything else. I asked if she could add more noodles and rice and she says it s an extra charge??? This is why i barely go there. I always end up throwing it away because they are stingy with their rice and noodles and the meat is always too much.
Terrible experience at fairview pointe clair mall on saturday march 25 th around 1:30 While the people serving the food were very helpful, the cashier ruined everything and was extremely rude and disrespectful.
Guys, for the General Tso and Honey/Garlick Chicken, pull back the sugar by about 25-33%. Way too sweet. I had a sugar rush for hours after consuming. Nice taste, but dangerous for the body.
Really bad service from the cashiers really unfortunate because the lady serving the food was really nice Vegetarian options: Riz et légume
Their chicken zucchini is a good source of food poisoning or salmonella, as assessed by the pharmacist based on the symptoms.
Service client parfait!
Sad chinese food. Tasteless, generic, and not so fresh. Staff should review their life choices.
Ordered 1/2 fried rice 1/2 noodles with honey garlic chicken and broccoli beef stomach hurt a bit after the meal then a few hours later was vomiting like crazy because I got food poisoning here. The food tasted decent but fix your safety practices .
Excellent service and great food the cashier (daniel)did great job
Excellent service! The food is very good and sufficient quantity!
Big portions and friendly staff
We were hungry and ordered the 3 item combo. And OMG! Nothing was edible. We ate the noodles and brought the rest home... for the dogs... and even they didnt touch it.
Went to the one at Fairview twice, both time they did not serve Pork Spare Ribs. This is definitely not a Chinese restaurant, even as a Canadian-Chinese food place, how can you do not have spareribs? They close everything at 3:30 p.m. on a Saturday!
The portions on Uber Eats is about a third of the size of the portion you get in person. And I spent MORE. Ridiculous, never ordering from here again.
I went there yesterday at Fairview and I got a extremely small portion the girl was not filling up the box i told her that im hungry alll the people in line before me where getting good generous portions I had barely 4 chicken tao, as you can see in the other reviews people have good portions but for me it was extremely small
They jacked up the prices by at least 20% and the food portion shrank by 40% I used to be a regular here, but no more. Very disappointed and I got hungry again in less than 2 hours after spending about $16 on the 2 choices meal. Very bad value, a complete joke.
Don t go there , they give 3 pieces of rice and 2 general Tao . Never again
very good place , the food is good portions and well prices and the taste is amazing and the employees are very nice
The woman serving me complained about me wearing a mask to her coworker the whole time I was ordering my food. Extremely poor customer service.
Well done girl and boy. Thank you and 5 For the service, cleanliness and food. My soup is delicious
Food wasn t cooked well didn t liked at all
Alright
The vegetables were raw and the rice was dry and flavorless
Good place, the staff were very nice. I went early on so vegetables werent ready, but the food was great
Its the best food.
Always good food! Its worth the price!
Tasted great fresh
Terrible service. The girl working there was left all alone trying to serve customers and what I can only imagine are UBER orders at the same time. She was clearly stressed and in a bad mood which ruins the experience for customers. This place does not deserve your business as it s crummy food with an overworked staff. Bad on the owners!
Amazing portions, taste amazing
The food tasted nice, I really liked the sesame chicken.
Was there for, lunch today i was visiting family. I live in ottawa, I was very disappointed
This restaurant has become recently (after the renovation of the whole restaurant area) very weak in term of taste, availability of meals, and service. Almost no choices available or got to wait a while before meal come out of the kitchen. Portion also got much smaller since the change. Taste nothing like you would expect an Asian meal to taste.
The three young people are doing a great job (Sunday noon).
Bad quality bad service the one in Laval much better
The food is great but it is too expensive for the portions that they give you.
For a food court resto, this food is surprisingly great! Tasty and fresh... I guess that is why theyve been in fairview mall for so long. Absolutely worth ordering for delivery through Uber while witing for this pandemic to be over.
Guy who served us today june 7th 2019 was very rude like why do you work in cs if you hate people? Loser
Like not
Really ordinary Wonton Soup base broth and only 2 wontons!!! Really ordinary egg roll!!! I wont come back here for these basic items in Chinese restaurants!
Good Chinese food prepared on site.
Manchu wok # Fairview - very small portions, food was cold, tasted stale and the server was so slow, would have been nice if she was polite.
Good food almost 9.99 tax included, affordable, it was enough delicious for me .
Delicious food and outstanding service, fast and easy ! Always a pleasure coming here.
Good
General tao and the rice were good... The rest was pretty bad. Beef tasted like rubber. Wouldnt recommend this place
Perfect food and best service I looooooove it
Staff is always friendly, sometimes food isnt as warm as Id like..over all great option though!
Food was better than expected , had fried rice and general Tao chicken. Decent portions.
Ok
