Firstly, the design and atmosphere of the café really attracted me to find out more and upon detailed observation, I had noticed that the style was more cozy, retro and well being in Europe, we could well live the story of Marie and her passion for art and food with a lot of love and the details in her recipes which was unique in her biscuits, I can well imagine that she studied a lot not only in the art but in the creation of new recipes for unique pastries of all styles including with pistachio and much more. I also tasted his Moka coffee and it was strong and a touch of chocolate (I added one more chocolate) to balance with his suggestions. Thank you for this short time where we could experience a story behind each touch of ingredients including the atmosphere of the café, the music and especially the soul of Marie. Croissants are incredible! And the scones - the best - not dry, just perfection! Choose your own mug is a lovely touch. Never crowded with nicely spaced seating . Love this spot.

This little café is in Pointe-Claire village and it s honestly so cute and the desserts are super delicious. I will definitely be coming back here.

I recently discovered this hidden place in the west of Montreal, and it has quickly become a favorite spot. The café offers an incredible selection of in-house bakery delights that are not only freshly made but also bursting with authentic, rich flavors. Whether you are craving a sweet treat or a savory snack, theres something here to satisfy every palate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing break or a casual meet-up with friends. The highlight, though, is the owner super cool and genuinely passionate about what they do, which shines through in every detail of the café. If youre in the area, this place is a must-visit!

Really lovely café with great sweets and just unbelievable service. Love the decor and vibe. You get to pick your own mug which is fun. Coffee was great. And the owners were so welcoming. Well definitely be back!

Then there is Mina, the owner, who just could not be kinder! I called a friend to join me as soon as I took the first sip of my delicious ice coffe with blackcurrant syrup :-) You will not be sorry for calling yours if you want to share the best with someone dear to your heart (I am not paid to advertise the place haha)

It is warm and inviting, with comfy couches and armchairs perfect for relaxing with a good book. The owners are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend something new based on your preferences.

This is our go to place to visit everytime we go to Pointe Claire Village :) The Coffee is always awesome, the cakes delicious and the cookies warm. But what brings us back is the amazing hospitality we get there. There is a lot of warmth and love. Mina and the crew makes sure that you love the place and go back well fed :)

The quality of cakes in this place is amazing. You would swear it s all homemade and by someone who really knows what she s doing and loving it too. The service is also great, attentive and very welcoming. I keep going back for more and every time I love it more.

I went because the photos of the food looked pretty good, and I was not disappointed. The marookie cake was thick and rich, made with cream cheese. A perfect side to a cafe latte. The ambiance is very homey and inviting, and the staff is extraordinarily friendly and informative. I enjoyed my little coffee date there, and you will as well.

Marookies makes gourmet pastry. A very high-flying 5 star. Rarely have such a good cake in my life. You really have to taste it to believe it: 1000 times better than what you buy in commercial pastries.

Was craving a chocolate chip cookie but was surprised to see that they didn t have any. Opted for the espresso cookie but unfortunately at $4.50 it was a big let down. Maybe some of the other items are better?!

I just loved it. The cake slices were delicious, as was the coffee. The owner fave us samples of some bread and cheese with a bit of olive oil and spinach. The flavour was as impressive and a result the owner takes in acquiring and making the best possible food. The decor is quite homey and comfortable. What a gem of a place.

What excellent lunch food, service and nice people! The bakery is incredible - try the Marookie - and they know how to serve tea! Nice music and cute eclectic decor inside (you may not realize it from the outside with dated umbrellas). So GLAD we went in (after checking out 4 other places that also looked great).

I visited this charming establishment for the first time today (I got a pistachio cheese cake cup with white chocolate shavings top to go) and it was to die for! It was freshly made and the quality and taste were just sublime; definitely one of the best cheesecakes Ive ever had no cap :D My only wish is that I lived closer so I could visit more often, but if you ever pass by or live in/near Lakeshore village you must stop by, you wont regret it!

I have tried three different kinds of cookies, as well as three cakes, over the last few weeks. They were all excellent and made with the finest ingredients. Most recently, I brought the cheesecake brownies to a party and everyone loved them. You can get brownies at the supermarket for less, but they won t compare to this handmade flavourful creation.

We bought a sampler of everything: a date/chocolate cookie, oatmeal cookie, Bee the one cake, and grandma s nut cake; all very tasty and interesting; truly unique flavors. The date/chocolate cookie texture is soft and moisture. Bee the one cake has a beautiful combination of honey, vanilla, and almond, again a very moisture cake! Grandma s cake is also very yummy. A cute little bakery in the center of pointe claire village. Nice decor. All the stuff looks fresh. Very kind owners. Excellent breads as well. The coffee looked very interesting; will have to try it next time!

A great place with great quality products , amazing coffee , good prices as well as a cozy feeling with a vintage design . From the minute you enter from the door every spot in this small cafe/bakery brings a cozy feeling . I loved the cupboard with different cups to choose from (for your coffee or tea) as well as the cozy music playlist . Variety of freshly baked products as well as gluten free products all with an amazing taste and very reasonable price . This will not be my last time to this amazing place .
