After returning to my hometown of Pointe Claire after decades of wandering the world, I've discovered a hidden gem in the West Island: Mayfair. It wasn’t a place I frequented in my younger days, but now it’s become a beloved spot. The vibe is inviting, the live bands play with heart, and there’s always a game of pool waiting. Trivia nights challenge the mind, and on the first Thursday of each month, the place comes alive with karaoke. The pints are cold, the food is comforting, and every visit feels like a homecoming.If you’re seeking a welcoming “dive bar” with character and warmth, Mayfair is it. Be sure to say hello to my good friend Rejean and the dynamo Alanna—they embody the spirit of this place. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

Okay, so I gave you four stars for the atmosphere. This is entirely subjective. If you love kitch then this is a five-star place. If you're looking for classy, then you get a one-star. Charming service staff, cold beer, and great sandwiches. What more could you ask for‽‽‽
We did a search for smoke meat and found this place. We had a visitor from the U.K with us, so we needed to impress a little. After a 2 hr drive, the first thing we want is the washroom. The bad water stench was horrible and then eventhough that happened, we still tried to keep an open mind but the lady came to serve us, she walks away without excusing herself to go serve someone else. We just walked out. Hopefully the food is amazing cause if you have yr bathrooms like that, I'm afraid for the kitchen.

Its a hidden treasure, the smoked meat sandwich is the best in Montreal and the service is super friendly!

It is what it is. This is a classic bar with a free pool table and its quite big. The service was fast and friendly. Its a mild to medium dive bar. Keep in mind but also cheap.
