I had a great time here! The place has a cozy vibe, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Each dish was delicious, and I will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
My absolute favourite pub in the West Island. Service is always A+, food is exceptional and reasonably priced, great kids menu (and family friendly!), and great beer on tap. We always go here with the family, including little kids, and they’re welcoming and accommodating. Great kids menu with a tonne of selection, colouring given to all kids, and high chairs available with stroller parking accommodated quite easily. My only gripe is I wish they had a better standard IPA on tap consistently (think a St. Ambroise, or really anything west coast from the area), but that’s such a minor quibble.
Well now. We had a choice between Gigi’s pizza or to try a new restaurant. So we went to Ye old Orchard in the Pointe Claire village. The sign on the front door says to go through the terrace entrance. Other people were there before us and were waiting and waiting. They got tired of waiting and they intruded to find a table. Same happened to us. Nobody to check new customers in. We pushed in and Anna, the waitress happened by. It seems to bother her to have to deal with us. I asked for a table for 2 and a few tables were bussed but not cleaned. She said we could sit over there if we didn’t mind. Right from that point, I could feel her bad attitude. No smile no welcome not happy to serve ONE more table. We could see at least 3 more waiters, all busy. To make a long story short, we had to ask her twice to wipe our table. We asked 4 times to get water glasses and we only received them because another waiter intervened. She finally took our order. At this point, no utensils no water still. She then brought the plates. Had to return with utensils and ketchup(asked twice and they fill brand mark ketchup with cheep one, taste awful). She never checked on us after that. I had to ask another waiter for the bill and a take out box. I said where is our waitress? He answered that her shift was over. She just left and abandoned our table. Good service from the male waiter. Extremely bad service from Anna(He said her name was). Food: butter chicken was good as per my hubby. Fried pickles good. Chicken fingers and fries over deep fried, almost broke a tooth. No salad option over fries. Expensive. Lovely garden, no bugs. Would not recommend.
Amazing food, really tasty and was fastly delivered. Would come again definitely, their terrasse had a nice atmosphere, the music was just missing outside ;))
Great pub food in the Pointe Claire Village. We had the Irish Stew and the Stout-Braised Beef. The stew was enormous and came with nice toasty bread. The braised beef was fork tender and served on creamy mashed potatoes. Great place & ambience for a chilly evening, or even a quick lunch while walking the Village.
Came here on a saturday during the day for a drink and snack. The service was amazing, very friendly staff. We got seated on there little patio outside. I say that this place is a must if you are in the area. The drinks were refreshing. We got the onion soup and the fried pickles. The onion soup was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Definitely would come back to have a bigger bite and maybe for dinner at night time .
Good local friendly pub with nice staff and a good atmosphere. The food was good and not overpriced, they had a decent selection of drinks and also stocked a nice cider, my favourite tipple. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Pointe-Claire.
Excellent fish and chips. The chicken tender is not the crispy breading type but with sauce on it. Enjoyed the veggies with dipping sauce as well. Generous portions for the fish and chips, I was super full and almost couldn’t finish my order. Clean dining environment. Fast and friendly service.

Ye Olde Orchard...I received some gift cards and and was so looking forward to trying out a new restaurant outside of my home of Laval, after readying the great reviews online. The service was AMAZING! How pleasant it was to be spoken to in English, from the time we entered to the time we left. My son and I both had the Raspberry Lemonade - very refreshing and very tasty. We had the Cauliflower Buffalo - WOW! Were they SPICY! Very tasty, and the ranch sauce on the side much needed! If you like spicy, these will be right up your alley!! I ordered the Irish Stew and since it was Curry Fest, my son had Chicken Curry poutine. The stew was a nice big portion, however the beef was not tender at all - actually very chewy and some really fatty bites as well. The sauce didnt taste home made - the taste actually resembled a brown gravy mix and really didnt have much seasoning. My sons poutine - for some reason the entire poutine was covered with more half cooked onions than there were French fries or cheese. And the chicken pieces were small cubes of chicken that almost tasted like boiled chicken. It was not eye pleasing or tasty. What helped a bit was my son dipping his fries in the leftover gravy from my Irish Stew. The place looks amazing, it makes you feel like youre in an Irish pub. Very homey with fantastic service. However, sorry to say, Im not sure well go back to use up the remainder of the gift cards I have. I had such high hopes. EDIT 11/28/24 - My son and I returned and gave it a second shot...and I must say, it was well worth the second chance. We shared the Jalepeno Poppers, they were really good! Just the right amount of kick without being the Buffalo Cauliflower level of spice. My son had Chicken tenders with fries which he really enjoyed. I dont often order a burger from a sit down restaurant but I am so very happy I did! The Orchard Burger, hold the mushrooms... to be exact. Oh my, that had to be one of the best burgers I have eaten. The caramelized onions are truly caramelized, not just fried. Simply delicious! And the home fries, crispy but somehow not greasy. Not to forget the drinks...my new fav is the Seas of the Day and the AMAZING service. You can surely expect me back!! Thank you!!!
This is such a cozy little spot in Pointe Claire village. We have always enjoyed our beverages and our food here. Weve been going since they opened and have never been disappointed.
Beautiful atmosphere, we took the mixed plate to share, it was so delicious that we brought back the leftovers.

Went for Sunday morning breakfast, food was well served, tasty and well priced. Service was excellent as well. Atmosphere decent (it is a pub), family friendly, dog friendly outside terrace. Will definitely be back!

We ate outside, nice. But putting 5 people on a table of 4 is ordinary. Luckily we were very late they let us put 2 tables together not without difficulty....marguerites at $12 for a glass of 4 to 6 Oz phew....its $$$$ especially since it wasnt not really good..food wise its ok lukewarm braised beef and no flavor, fish and chips was good and Irish stew too..

This is really a great pub in Point Claire village. I ate there today, along with my girlfriend, and the food was absolutely fabulous!! The service was excellent, and I highly recommend this pub for anybody that is hungry!! We ate the fish & chips and they were cooked to perfection. It is for sure that we will be returning!!

I love the place, especially the terrace in the summer. nice place to have a beer and some nachos. everything Ive tried was delicious with one exception. I would not order again the sausage plate or bangers and mash I think they call it. theres many other items in the menu that are better tasting.
It s a very nice local restaurant. The stuff so nice. Big plus they allow my fur baby stay at the patio.

I went to The Old Orchard with my parents for a catch-up and lunch. We had a great time and our server, Axel was so wonderful with helping us choose beer and meal. He was very friendly, funny and professional. The food was good, as was the beer, but I would go back for the service and ask for his section. Remember, ask for Axel, like Axel Rose!

its a typical pub feel, but honestly kind of felt damp when we went. had clearly just been bleached clean so the place had an interesting smell. the service was nice but slow to order... show to get food. didnt bring us water.. had to chase them down to get some. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was pretty good. friend got fish n chips which he liked. my son got chicken tenders which he enjoyed. the terrace outside seemed nicer but the wasps can be very annoying sometimes... only 2 individual bathrooms for women... had to wait a while. We love coming to the Pub! Our go to brunch spot in the village. We were served by Gabby who is absolutely amazing! We brought our grandfather there who needs extra help and she was exceptional. Thank you so much Gabby for being so welcoming and the great service :).

One of my favourite places to put in a shift. Shauna and her staff always treat us so well ! Best high noons in the city. If you decide to swing by I recommend ordering the lime ones

Saturday May 18th at the end of the afternoon, we took a table for 4 on the side of the street for a drink and dinner! There was almost no one there! After 10 minutes no waitress came to serve us! The waitress finally arrives to find out what we want! In the meantime, 3 people show up and want a place on the side of the street! The waitress comes to ask us to change tables to leave this one for them to be on the edge, we tell her NO since we also wanted to be on the edge although there were plenty of other tables of 4 but not on the edge of the street . The waitress served all the other people without taking care of us! We decided to leave and as we passed the waitress she seemed happy to see us leave, she told us to go ahead. Thank you for reviewing your restaurants way of doing things and making your waitresses or waiters aware of better service!

With my brother in town for Easter weekend, I took him to this pub for lunch. We both ordered fish and chips. The meal was tasty with a nice portion of fish. There are good selections of traditional pub meals as well as brews to satisfy most patrons. Decor is pub style with multiple tvs on. Plenty of seating, clean establishment and great service when we were there. Quick and friendly service. Parking is limited to free lots in and around the area. This review is based on this visit. Would recommend to everyone looking for pub food in the West Island.

I wanted to visit this place for a while. I went on a Friday evening, and it was busy but didnt have to wait long for a table. Food, atmosphere, and service were excellent and a great pint of Guinness!! Well definitely be back.
OK so this was our third time for the breakfast, the first time was great second also good but this last visit will be our last for awhile. Issues: my wife ordered scrambled and they brought over easy, no cream for the coffees, had to request utensils, was told by Western Omelet did not come with toast when upon checking menu after eating saw that it was supposed to have toast, finally we were never offered coffee refill. We typically love this place and have been many times albeit for lunch or dinner. Parking: No issues
If youre going there for your lunch hour, order right away! The waitress was running right, left....alone with an almost full restaurant! We saw a second girl arrive and she took our order, after 20 minutes of waiting. Our cheeseburgers were good. Everything is expensive now.... $18 for a regular; $20 with bacon.... We were near the fireplace. Nice atmosphere, surrounded by regulars. Good beer choices Parking: At the back of the restaurant, access via a small street on the left side.
Members of our opera company, the Lakeshore Light Opera, have been coming every Friday night after rehearsal to Ye Olde Orchard Pointe-Claire for the last four months. They have been wonderful about accommodating our large group, and the food, beverage selection, and service has been exceptional. The après-rehearsal pub jaunt is honestly a highlight of our week! Highly recommend Ye Olde Orchard Pointe-Claire! Vegetarian options: The buffalo cauliflower is excellent!
This place is always busy making for a good Pub style environment. The drawback is that we were searching constantly for a server for things as basic as salt and pepper. The food comes out quickly from the kitchen and is consistently good.

Fantastic place. Havent been back in years as Im now in Ontario but it was at least as good as I remember it. Great atmosphere, pub has lots of character, friendly, great bar staff who have personality. And they still have the braised beef in the pub favourites which I have been wanting to come back for, since the last time I was there. Thanks again. See you soon!

I just love this place, the atmosphere is so cozy and warm. The staff are really friendly and happy. I felt like I was in Ireland ! We had lunch and it was so good, lots of food. There were 6 of us and we all really enjoyed our meals and were impressed with the quantity. I Wish I lived a little closer I would be there all the time ! Keep up the great work guys ! Loved the atmosphere and vibe of this place. Vegetarian options: I would have loved to see more of veg or vegan food options. Although I ordered veg burger, didnt enjoy it much. Seemed to have used the beyond meat veg burger patty which I dont like.

My husband loves the fish and chips there.. it s crunchy outside and moist and soft inside, but I find it too oily.. my favorite is their fish tacos .. really tasty and topped generously with tomato and lettuce and sauce. I opted for a side of salad instead of fried and that made it less heavy. The fish inside the tacos are the same as the fish and chips .. very delicious but my daughter got the shrimp tacos but the shrimps were too overcooked and dried. Her fries were also dark from old oil and she didn t enjoy it. Service was great though.. cheerful and attentive from Ashley. I would go back for the fish tacos. Their chicken and veggie curries were good but the side of seasonal vegetables (bok choy) had black patches so it wasn t very fresh.

This location has an indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is simple but quite lovely. Indoor is traditional and a bit dark with some large TVs to watch sports. The service was quick and courteous. All the burgers we ordered were delicious and amongst the best burgers we ve had on the island with no bells and whistles. We keep on coming back here for the kid friendliness, the beers and the food. Its a pub. Pub grub. Pub atmosphere. We were 8, and our server was great. I had the fish and chips. Large portion, plenty of fries. Others had the salmon, and the Irish stew. Everyone was happy. No complaints.

Ive eaten here many times over the years, and the experience is consistently good: the pints are well-pulled, service is quick and friendly and the food is an assortment of delicious pub staples. Their backyard terrace is lovely in summer, and the interior is cozy and inviting in the chillier months. I make a point of coming here every few months. Wheelchair accessibility: The interior is not wheelchair friendly at all.

Nothing ruins a dining experience more than bad service. Actually, come to think about it the service was not bad, as it was non-existent. If youre looking for a pub that serve average food at reasonable prices while being completely ignored by the wait staff then Ye Old Orchard Pub & Grill is your place.
