What you would expect from a resto like this. Expectations were met, prices reasonable, kids menu... cheap enough. Atmosphere was clean and what you would expect. Tables, booths and a private room in the back for parties. Basic atmosphere. No wins or losses here. Service was simple, bill ended up being fumbled with lunch special prices and salad bar add on, but it was just dollara difference to a 6 person bill. Food: Firstly I need to mention that the salad bar will get you full. I've always enjoyed the scores salad bar (salad with honey mustard dressing, bacon bits and toppings) but to add a nacho section its pretty good overall. 3 plates of salad was well worth it. Main course all around was expected, ribs are ribs, chicken is chicken. Kids menu was decent with choices but the great thing is $10 all included meal, drink and dessert. No complaints here. Overall I'll feel it's a social dining place to be. Cheap, good (to expectations) and you can chill for a fair amount of time because no one else is there. There is not much choices overall which makes selection even easier. Lunch special with salad bar under $20 with drinks.
I usually like SCORES but not all locations are created equal, and this one is a masterpiece in the 'avoid at all costs' category. The salad bar looked like a science experiment gone wrong—I'm pretty sure I saw a crouton try to make a break for it. Everything tasted like it had been aging there since the last century. Unless you’re in the market for antiques, steer clear! Good luck finding someone who works there.
Both of my daughters love this place very much and they remind us every Friday to dine in this cozy restaurant. The staff are exceptionally kind and friendly, the food and salad bar is always good! Strongly recommend it!
Had the fish and chips and added the salad bar for $5.95, what a great deal. Salad bar was fresh and had many options and it’s all you can eat. Having just a Caesar salad elsewhere costs more. Great value, highly recommend.
Place was empty at supper time. Got chicken and ribs. Ribs were very small, size of my finger. Alot of sauce not much meat. Chicken was dry and overcooked. Lettuce in salad bar had brown on it. Nacho sauce was flavorless. Bun was hard. Rice flavourless. Before the meal When I said to the waitress I was disappointed my bf brochette didn't come with the salad bar, that it was extra the waitress just said, it's a corporate chain wide thing. No apology or regret or smile. After the meal as she picked up the dishes she asked is everything was ok. I voiced my complaints about the poor quality of the food. As I described what was wrong she just turned her back on me and walked away as I was speaking. All this for close to 60$. Very disappointed. This is not the Scores I used to love back in the day. I will never go back,or let my bf order from there. We found some good middle eastern restaurants on Sources with much better chicken and rice at much better prices.
This place used to be good but not anymore. Service is terrible and not welcoming. I was served by Dimitria worst service ever. Do not recommend this location. Edit: you ask customers to contact [email protected] which doesn’t work. Try to complain from scores.com that doesn’t work either. I wonder if this is done intentionally. See screenshot.
Good and quality service. Food is pretty tasty. Prices are a bit high, but overall dishes are big, so you fell well fed. Location is easily accessible and has free parking in front. Spacious to have a family party or have some time with colleagues for lunch. They speak both french and english. Ordered Chicken Fajitas. Could not even finish it as it is pretty big. From the picture, it looked smaller. My colleagues had Ribs & Chicken and Mini burgers with Salad Bar access.
They've redone their menu, very similar to St-Hubert (that's not a compliment). 6$ to add salad to a meal, even kids, is a little excessive. Prices are typical, 15-20$ per meal on average, +6$ or more for the salad bar. They have a kids menu (10 and under). Clean restaurant (it just opened so everything is new). Service was excellent: quick and courteous. Didn't take long to get our food and everything was well cooked. As you can see by the pictures, presentation is mediocre. The "salad" on the fish and chips was laughable. My children enjoyed the chicken nuggets and chicken burger.
went to eat there today very good experience food was great!!
The chicken parm. was very good. The pasta was cold and tasteless. The chicken leg came with a baked potato. It was great. The restaurant was very full and understaffed. Food
Descent services Feelings of being constantly monitored by the waitress when we are at the salad bar order arrived very early before making the request knowing that there were 4 people I had the impression that we were helping ourselves too much at the salad bar This is the last time I will return to this branch, passing by the waitress brought me the bill before I asked for it, I didnt even finish eating Very disappointed
The food very good, the service correct.. Its a particular waitress. The others are very good.
Good food great salad bar and soup bar.
(very detailed comment) Today was my first experience at Scores and, honestly, I am very disappointed with the service provided by a waitress who lacked professionalism. Being pregnant and having nausea that has taken away my appetite lately, I decided to try a new restaurant with a varied menu. When I arrived, a lady with short red/brown hair, probably in her 60s, handed me an adult menu and a childrens menu. When placing my order, another waitress served me kindly and explained to me that the salad bar was included with my $20 chicken breast dish. Since my 2 year old son eats very little and had just finished his snack in the car, I decided not to take anything for him and let him nibble a little from my plate if he wanted to. I had a soup and a plate with some salads from the bar. My son touched the salads (I say touched , because he ate almost nothing). At one point the elderly waitress came back and asked if I had the salad bar. I told her yes, and she told me I was entitled to a juice. Later, when it was time to pay, the bill was $33. After expressing my surprise, the elderly waitress explained to me that my son had eaten salad and he should be charged $9 as if he had had a full meal... If I had known that from the start, I would have opted for a $9 dish for him and taken it, because its hard to ask a 2 year old not to touch a plate. Moreover, in buffets, children under 3 years old are generally not charged. What particularly frustrated me was the response from the elderly waitress: Its written, not shared, and its up to you to read, its restaurant policy.. I already worked as a waitress, and her attitude made me think that she knew that I had not understood that by taking the juice, I would be charged for an entire menu. Its only a $10 difference, but his lack of transparency and dishonest attitude really disappointed me. I find it important to apply a little judgment in this type of situation and to clearly define the minimum age from which a child must be charged for a meal. THANKS
Love this Scores location. I go every weekend and the food is amazing and the staff is absolutely spectacular as well. You cant go wrong and you couldnt ask for more!
Service was a little slow this time, but was very friendly
A classic leg and fries! Good value for money with the salad bar included dated decor the visual should be rethought. Courteous staff. Kid-friendliness: Yes
The restaurant was not busy and we were a bother with the waitress .
Ok. Salad bar is good.
DELICIOUS
Subpar food quality, chicken and ribs were too dry. And the salad bar was pretty disappointing. For the money being paid, Id rather go eat elsewhere.
Best Spare Ribs ever eaten, we always come here for our special treat!
The food is good just expensive for the small portions that are given. Salad bar is well stocked with many options
I went to Restaurant Scores with some friends. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the food was OK. But the service was terrible, which really ruined the whole experience.
Salad bar was 2 days old, the fruit salad was bad, they changed it twice and it was still bad, this place is not the same anymore, been going there for the longest time, not anymore...
We are 4 Vegetarians and we asked if it would be possible to have the General Tao poutine but with General Tao cauliflower which is not on the menu. They accepted and it was delicious! Add this to the menu! It was really good
Great restaurant great service very professional nice and clean the food. It s amazing and the price is so cheap compared to other restaurant. Everyone should try it. You re not regret it.
I had the ribs that blew my mind. The portions were huge and the salad bar was included.
Food tastes good, some days are better than others, overall good chicken, its a bit pricey though. I still prefer scores over st Hubert .
I like the fact that they have a salad bar, you dont get that in a lot of places anymore. Theyre chicken brochette is very good and the food is decently priced.
The mash potatoes werent as good as before. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Recommended dishes Chicken Strips
Served by an employee of a certain age, stupid as that cannot be. Very ordinary food. Dirty table even though the restaurant has just opened. The ambient temperature is not suitable. Brief, very ordinary experience. I dont recommend.
Came in excited for the salad bar, disappointed with the options and displeased with the service. When it came time for the bill, my friends and I had agreed that the service was below standard and that it didn t deserve a tip. Our server then demanded a tip and made rude comments towards us. For example repeatedly asking if our parents had ever brought us to a restaurant. She was very confrontational and wasted no time before moving on to the next persons bill. She then continued to deliberately ask for a tip on both of our small bills. Overall, the stressful confrontation resulted in us leaving unhappy and as though we don t want to go back. We don t know her name, but came in on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 7:30pm. She had light brown hair and francophone.
Very good only needs some background music
front door locked, unsafe, electronic menu does not work
I went there for dinner with a friend of mine and we had an enjoyable meal and the service was fine
better than cote vertu
I like the salad bar. Good healthy choices Heather our server was very nice Food
Very good service, and very nice place.
Great food. It was a while back, so cant remember exactly what I ordered but believe it was a steak and because I am on a diet restriction I asked to replace the potatoes with some grilled veggies, which they did and it was delicious, they gave me green beans and carrots.
Be careful when ordering on the Lunch menu as it says meal, dessert and coffee but does not give you a choice of dessert. So we ordered a piece of cake off the menu. Enjoyed our meal until the bill came. Was NOT charged lunch menu but rather regular with the added cost of $16 for two pieces of cake. I disputed this with the waitress and she knew we specifically said lunch menu and she did not correct us when we ordered dessert off the menu. Needless to say I did not back down as I felt she Was in the wrong. In the end she took $16 off my bill. I will not be going back.
Food was mediocre, hunter chicken with processed cheese slice in it. Slow server, only checked on us when we asked for her. Back section was super noisy and very tight for seating. Ribs were to spicy . Very bad experience I wont be returning.
First time there to that location and it was a terrible experience. Im not the usual to leave a poor review but this one upset me. I brought my family out tonight and from the start, we were not greeted with a smile from Diane; rather she had a scowl on her face, like she did not want to be there. She took our orders but did not ask what the children wanted to drink (as it came with their meals), no water refill, no wet naps, plates piled up, the famous chicken noodle soup was a very sad sight... soup down to the bottom the whole time we were there with just little pieces of noodles and chicken in it- like they ran out; I know they knew bcs I saw the manager look inside the pot and yet nothing was done to replenish. My wife ate 85% of her meal and when we asked for a takeout box, Diane was argumentative and said its policy she cant as we ate from the salad bar. I tried to have her use her common sense and look at her plate to see that all she had left was just a piece of chicken- I spoke to the manager Kosta and he tried to play down the situation/experience with humor while giving the same corporate reason for not allowing takeout boxes but I was past that pleasantry point. In the end Kosta gave me the takeout box in end. The ordeal was such a nasty experience we did not feel welcome there, we felt our concerns and complaints was not taken seriously, rather passively and replied with defensiveness. It was awkward to the point I paid and left, we couldnt stay any longer even for the dessert. Just listen to what your customers have to say and if you dislike working with people, its time to change professions. I do have pictures of the state of the soup and the piles up dishes that sat at our table, they paint 1000 words. Im sorry but this is the only bad review Ive ever written and it hurts as I was the one whom suggested this Scores location for a change. If the owner would like to reach me via email, I can send the pictures and answer any questions you might have.
Waitress was extremely rude to me and my family. We asked for take out boxes and she was very rude and condescending, telling us that we are not allowed take out boxes for what we ordered, even though we re paying for everything. In the end she gave us two little boxes but her attitude was horrible. I don t recall her name, but she was a blonde middle aged woman. I also don t want to jump into big assumptions, but she was white and we re not. Either way, this experience made me feel very uncomfortable and upset. Also, while paying for our bill, she snatched the card reader from us, entered her own tip, and payed the bill with MY card This is robbery, I ll be calling my bank to see how much of a tip she entered, because she sure as hell doesn t deserve a dime. I don t think I ll ever come here again.
Justine was a rockstar tonight. Not ONCE did the actual waitress (older blonde) acknowledge us (only once it was time to claim the tip) Justine took care of our order and table from a-z as she did with the tables around us. The older blonde waitress was unable to manage on her own and Justine the hostess really stepped up. She is the only reason I am giving a decent review. Once the older blonde waitress (believe her name was Demitra?) came to claim the tip which she did not do anything to deserve we told her how awesome Justine was, her response? Not a thank you, no agreement but I trained her . I could not believe what I just heard. The whole time we were there all we heard was the waitress barking orders to Justine in a way I would never tolerate but Justine remained calm and professional. I hope this establishment acknowledges how lucky they are to have Justine on their team.
The salad buffet was not very well stocked. The chicken breast was undercooked. The half rib was quite large and tasty. Friendly, smiling welcome and service.
Great ribs!
Good chicken. No coleslaw if you dont order the salad bar.
Excellent
No delivery place is a joke
Fantastic. Great salad bar. Good drinks. Very friendly staff. Three thumbs up. Kid-friendliness: I was there when they had a kids party and they were very well treated. Food : 5/5 |
The waitress was angry because I didnt tip enough. Just to tell you that tipping defines the customer service.
Had a great meal and wonderful service by Diane. The ambiance was relaxing and warm as usual.
Fries and tenders were cooked perfectly 5 stars well deserved
Good chicken and ribs my favorite is the Dorval location
When there with my gf after going shopping, I ve order 8 cheese sticks with the general Tao poutine while she ordered the Chipotle burger. The food is good. Not a very crowded place to go to, not very expensive. Definitely better than eating at the mall.
Never complain however I have bee going to other locations for many years Never had an issue this time delivery service was great driver extremely polite order club sandwich was great additionally order 2 value meals everything was ok but chicken was extremely dry even with gravy was dry over cooked Very disappointed last Time i order delivery dining in would have sent Plates back Never gad issue in Dorval or cote vertu
I got the general Tao poutine and it was so disgusting. They used the sweet general Tao sauce on the fries in replacement for gravy which is horrendous it does not go well together. 1/10
Never again. The poutine exactly like at McDonalds, but colder.. I found 2 pieces of plastic and a pair of tights in the salad bar (in the pineapples) which I showed at the bar to one of the waitresses, who seemed to be broken pieces of kitchen equipment and a fruit label.. Children over 10 years old must pay for adult meals which are on average $20...Plus the salad bar which costs $7!! Only the salad bar without main meal 17 $$$!! Bill $75 plus tip for me and my 2 children
All I can eat salad
Omg what depressing decor and atmosphere! Went for supper with the family and though the food was good and the service was friendly and efficient, and good salad bar, overall average experience. Not in a hurry to go back.
It was perfect, fast service
Came with a novice hockey team. The waitress was smiling and organized to deal with the bills because the children were eating together. Perhaps the order took longer than the others but overall everything went well
Great service and food was hot!
Zero stars for the nonchalant attitude of Diane our waitress. She made our meal as unpleasant as she was, fortunately she was absent when we needed her.
This is the best place for odds
If you want best service and fresh mouthwatering food you gotta try this place . I had best experience dinning in,,, the food was hot and fresh ( French fries too) and the service was 10 outta 10 . Place is clean and hygiene too no funny smell and stuff AND staff always greet you with a smile which is must if you are dinning in with your family cuz smile makes a big difference in everything you do :)
This is one of my favourite restaurants, but was very disappointed with this branch as their salad bar had limited options not like the one in dorval , and i ordered the portguese chicken and it was EXTREMELY SALTY , I mentioned that to our waitress and she replied that those are the spices they use , however this is not my first time ordering the porteguese chicken they would always have the perfect amount of spices and salt but not this time . Would not come back
Myself & 3 other people went on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We started out with a waitress, I simply asked regarding the salad bar that if I order a meal is the salad bar at $6.99 & when the meal that I order whatever is left can I take it out...well from my question that totally caused a whole big issue apparently, where she said you cant do a meal to take out & get the salad bar at the reduced rate (even though I am paying for a meal ?!?) she said I must eat the meal there, I said well if I dont eat the whole meal are you telling me that I am basically having someone looking to see how much I eat? she said there are cameras all over watching !!! Wait, what??!! She was extremely rude and even after all the meals were ordered she went to the waiter that was there and had a big discussion with him about this apparent issue !!, so after that she didnt serve us but the waiter did, however it was really uncomfortable as it seemed every 5 minutes after the food arrived that he was coming over, even pointed out that here is a plate for the chicken bones for my meal as it was seriously pointed out that I MUST eat some of my chicken since I took the salad bar @ $6.99. First off, I bought a meal, whether I eat it there or opt to take it home the point is I BOUGHT a meal, then to have them hovering over you almost like a parent of a child this was absolutely horrible!! I will absolutely never go back there as a customer should never be treated like that! ****** UPDATE********* After my initial review I was asked to contact info@scores, so I did, I was told that someone will follow up with me after they contact the restaurant, however, guess what?!? Nobody did, I take it MTY who I take it (not sure) owns Scores & others doesnt really take customers bad experiences seriously & thats too bad as losing clients isnt such a great thing, & honestly when you tell someone that youll be contacted with a follow up & they dont come through..why bother saying anything if you dont plan on doing so anyways?!? Anyhow, from my horrible restaurant experience to the non follow up, as a customer I will be taking my business elsewheres, as will my family & friends!
A good score
Nice Place
Hello, the situation I experienced in your branch is unacceptable. I spoke with the branch manager. He seems to disregard my comments and opinions. He didnt ask me for a number to contact me to follow up with me. So I would like to speak with someone please. Thank you and have a nice day!
Great service, friendly waitress.
Yummmm I love salads bar
Bad food, bad service.
Food was ...decent. Partner and I got Club Sandwich to share, good portion for sharing, so many fries on the side. Unfortunately though, I got a bone in the chicken meat and almost chocked as well, we got a carrot cheese cake for almost 10$, The display case with the cakes looked absolutely mouth watering and the portions looked well worth the price. Unfortunately, we were given the tiniest, driest piece they had, barly cold. It almost looked like a piece someone else didnt finish and was just re packaged for us. Terrible.
Wow. Best supper family place ever.
Food was excellent but the service was really bad with our main waitress. Didnt ask if we wanted drinks, didnt bring coleslaw with our dinner plates. We asked for mash potatoes with our kids meals came out with fries. There was no care with the service. Kid-friendliness: Dino nuggets are a hit.
GREAT SERViCE, Heather is awesome. The soup and salad bar is now a full meal and its great!
Extraordinary welcome for my godmothers 100th birthday, people came to wish her a happy birthday and we offered her the cake...thank you!
Despite the fact that it wasnt my favorite kind of fries (juliennes), the rest of the meal (quarter chicken breast) was excellent. The chicken was well cooked, the sauce is super good, as well as the coleslaw.
Salad bar is minuscule, and there are no vegan options in it, so we had to leave
this restaurant has turned into a joke. Been there before and it was always a favorite for my kids, but really never going back. No atmosphere, food is barely eatable and to top it off, while the whole restaurant was empty, the cook decided to bring his meal right next to our booth, sat there without any shoes on, and listened to his phone on loud speaker the whole time. I mean, when the whole restaurant is empty...it was totally ridicules. Food took forever to get there and you can just tell no one cared in this place. Im not one to usually leave comments, but bad food, bad service and just lack of just general respect was just unacceptable for myself and my family. It was not enjoyable and honestly a really horrible experience.
Worst steak I ever ordered. I asked for rare, it came well done. So they cooked me a second one. It came rare, but just had a lousy taste to it. Food : 1/5 |
Wife wanted to come here for the salad bar. Unfortunately its an extra cost now on top of a main course. Had difficulties getting into the restaurant since the front door was jammed. Restaurant staff had to work on getting it opened. Felt bad for wait staff since they were short handed that day. Food was ok. Rotisserie chicken was fine. However my son ordered the childrens pasta with butter. He even said it was bland. When I tried it, tasted they cooked the pasta without salted water. Couldnt taste any butter either.
good served .good food
went here for lunch today. ordered chicken and both plates of chicken were tasteless and microwaved. The chicken was not fresh and had been sitting. After ordering it took approximately 30 minutes for the food to be brought to the table. The service was so so, not a friendly waitress. would not recommend this place there are better options around the area.
Dietary restrictions: The shrimp is back and delicious also great paired with the salad bar Food
Chicken wings were good with the delicious general Tao sauce. Peanut butter square was great too. Chicken strips were okay and Im annoyed that they didnt give me either of the right sauces I paid extra for, though Uber Eats rectified that pretty efficiently. Grilled vegetables were a really good side dish
The chicken was dry. We had the Portuguese chicken. But the rest of the food (appetizers and dessert) were excellent. Staff was very nice. Service was a bit slow, but I know most restaurants are short on staff and we were a larger group.
My friend and I went for dinner Saturday August 5th. The food was absolutely amazing, Nathalie our server was so pleasant, attentive and polite. Weve been to the old Scores but their menu and food has improved tenfold. Would highly recommend it. I had the teriyaki chicken with rice, melts in your mouth. Vegetarian options: Lots of salads, legume choices and fish for pescatarians Parking: Ample parking Kid-friendliness: There were a few kids there.
Always enjoyed Scores! Went in on Aug 4 for dinner around 6 pm. Restaurant was empty. Only 3 tables had customers. Other half of Restaurant closed down. 2 waitresses working. Waited 20 min to get waited on. Ordered dinner & a glass of white each. No white wine available. Only roses. Got up & left. Terrible service. Very disappointed. Later Scores!! Parking: Whatever!!!
Love the soup and salad bar. The ribs are also very good
Went in for lunch had the salad bar with coffee the waitress brought the milk the milk was off and smelt awful the salad bar had never been changed and everything i had was stale. And when i confronted the waitress she was very rude i didnt care about it.
We asked for a relatively quiet spot as when we went there were quite a few families with young kids. Got seated not too far away from a young family but thankfully they must have been almost done when we got there as they were gone pretty quickly. My only 2 (small) complaints in terms of the sald bar is that they took away the labels for the salad dressings. And they could maybe use plates/bowls that are a little deeper for soup as I found it a bit of a challenge to get back to our table while carrying my soup without spilling any! luckily my mom saw I was having problems and took it off me.
Lack of staff. Really sad ambience
People are super nice. Ownership has some work to do. Food was good; not amazing.
True to form, Score s offers a varied menu that will please everyone, young and old. The salad bar seemed well stocked, but I didnt choose this option because the cost was prohibitive. To have access to it, in addition to the cost of our meal, we must pay extra. Previously, the salad bar was included with the purchase of a quarter chicken meal. You must now add $6.95 plus taxes to have access. This is simply excessive. I finally ordered a steak. The cooking of this one was perfect and the taste was excellent. The only downside: the sautéed mushrooms that come with the plate are salty, to the point of being practically inedible. The vegetables were very good and the cooking was excellent! I recommend to everyone! Parking: I had a coach to park and I had no difficulty parking, there are easily 200 to 300 parking spaces. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was wheelchair accessible.
It was a quiet evening for the restaurant, so service was quick and very friendly. We ordered the chicken and rib combo. The ribs were perfect, falling off the bone. The chicken was a little dry, but still good. If there had been more business that evening, the chicken might have not waited so long in the kitchen.
We just dined at Scores on St. Jean Blvd. For lunch. I had a club with dark meat. The chicken was very dry. My wife had the chicken breast which was also very dry. Even the fries were dry hard and crumbly. We were both very disappointed. It felt like the chicken had been reheated too many times. We also ordered the salad bar. That was very good. The waitress was very pleasant but I will never order chicken there again. I would go back for the salad bar meal.
Despite the power outage when I got in the restaurant, it was definitely worth waiting for the electricity to come back! Food was amazing! I had the lunch special: chicken brochette, rice and fries! Tried the pork ribs as well and it was delicious! They have the best gravy! Yummy vanilla cake for dessert too! I m definitely coming back!!
Went for lunch today and was served the worst chicken I have ever eaten! The meat was dry and the fries were cold. The waitresses were rude and one of the waitresses was a previous worker from another restaurant who was very verbally abusive. We will never go back!
This place was a joke. Never going back took 1 hr or plus for the food to arrive. Food was dry... The waitress had no manners to talk to customer if you tip them lower than 15 % percent they make a scene in front off everybody. Never going back until waitresses learn some manners and food is served on time
the waitress looked so stupid
This used to be a family-friendly, reasonably-priced and cheerful place, but they ruined it. Made the kids menu more trashy, massively inflated the salad-bar pricing, added awkward rules and grumpy staff, so ordering for a family is now a bad experience, and bad value. Scores chain was our regular favourite, but we ll never go there again. Kids are sad. Avoid.
Didnt even get a chance to try the food, it was the worst service even with a reservation, we ended up leaving and grabbing fast food.
There was not enough wait staff booked. The waitress we did have was rude and not friendly. Food was poor. Processed chicken and processed cheese and was overpriced. Bathrooms were gross and dirty.
Hit and miss. Sometimes chicken hotter than others. Pretty good still and salad bar option really fills you up with decent selections. Atmosphere not to my taste.
Food was really bad. Salad bar not eaven fresh. The atmosphere is very low
Fast table service and a decent salad bar.
Casual dine-in restaurant with an early 2000s vibe. Not a very vibrant place, but its cozy. Service was really good. Food was super average. I had the ribs with mashed potatoes. Like baseline average. Which makes the price disappointing because I can think of several places where you can get better eats for the same tag.
Vegetarian options: Soup et Salad ~ delicious Food
Very welcoming
Clean very polite service
Amazing service
Just ate the Portuguese chicken It was juicy and taste great Salad bar was fresh and great selection .. I will come back .. Staff was super friendly
Service was absent, food uncooked, beer options absent.
Very good food, environment is a bit dark for my liking and it was really cold next to the window but might have just been that day. ------------------------------------- UPDATE Went back a week later and have to say, very happy. I was amazed that not only did the waitress remember us but she remembered details. This is a pleasant change to the norm that is todays society.
Customer service was a bit slow but so are the times. Salad and soup bar was great as well as the Salmon Dinner.
Goog to have thw selection back
Had Ribs and tender chiken combo. Very good
I am very disappointed for the price. I had chicken strips with fries - $20 with tax and tip. The cardboard box would have tasted better than the old, overcooked, dry, cold fries. The chicken strips are all dough with barely any chicken. Half filled container of tasteless coleslaw. Our family eats take out often but after 3 tries, I think we will remove Scores from our list. Update: April 2022 - Gave it another try and with the exception of the coleslaw, the chicken strips have improved!
Very disappointed with the salad bar. Used to come to scores before the covid and loved it.
Bad experience, the chicken was dry and not fresh, as if it had been reheated, with an open buffet, and there were flies moving around on the salad bar, and it was not worth the prices we paid
Demetria, was by herself, flawless and true professional.Fantastic service, great foods.Thank you.
The place really needs to be refreshed, greasy floor, decent food, nothing more.
Excellent chicken soup, very good taste
Great experience with friendly staff.
It is a nice place overall :)
Service is fine, food was tasty, but not that much. I found the bar salad concept of not sharing is selfish. So basically you pay 6$+ to get salad with your meal, but you cannot share it with anyone! Well, I accept they tell me not to refill, but not to share it with my wife was ridiculous. The waitress told me if i see your wife eating from yours i must charge you twice for the salads. So 12$+ for my wife to eat from my salad
Prices have been creeping up at all Scores locations. This new Scores loses some points because of the cacophony caused by the high empty ceilings. Very hard to carry a conversation especially when there are groups of kids. Food is generic MTY Food Group grade with no surprises, very predictable catering to mundane palettes. Just makes 4 stars. Revised (June 2022) Boy the pandemic was not kind to this location. Had not been in about 2 years. The salad bar lost all of its hit dishes and was stocked with only the cheapest. The waitress advised us that because of the low attendance (post Covid) they are not putting out the more expensive dishes in case of waste. The price is also quite a bit up on the salad bar with retracted selection! Not impressed.
Mediocre food, but didnt expect anything amazing. They sat us in the only area that had no AC. The waitress clearly hated her job and took it out on us. The hostess was nice atleast.
I guess Im a bit sour when it came to this location as the soup and salad bar was very small with very few options. The soup and salad bar at other locations has always been a home run for me and this locations fell short. The night was still awesome and filled with good times.
I came here and tried the club sandwich and the brochette de polete québécoise and the taste was good!! Clean place and friendly staff that is always important
Parking: Big parking lot.
Excellent service and very good meal
Very friendly staff.... Good food. No one was rushing us for our meals. Great experience
The only good part of the meal was that the waitress was pleasant which doesnt always happen. I went with my sister in law and my 2 kids who are under 2. I ordered the club sandwich and half my bread pieces were burnt....the fries are not what they used to be and seemed to be double fried since they were old. I added the soup and salad bar and that was absolutely disgusting, the lettuce looked old so I couldnt even make myself a salad. Then I open one of the containers and said not sure why they have gravy here but ok.... the waitress walks by and says thats CHEESE for the nachos... it was BROWN, ew! I decided to have some of the avocado and pasta salads and Ive spent the last 3 days SICK as a dog. What an absolute shame because I was so excited to go to scores again always loved it as a kid. My bill was 30 bucks and McDonalds would of been better for a 3rd of the price.
Food was ok. Not the worst Ive had. Fries were good. We were a large group and our server did a good job.
Scores Pointe-Claire is alright for me. It is a decent restaurant and it has changed. The Pros: The service is decent and alright. The waitress we had was nice and alright and kind. The chicken is alright and good and the ribs as well. Well seasoned and the taste was alright. The Cons: THe booths are a bit smaller and tighter than most. It is a bit pricey for the quality. I would like to try their salad bar. But heard from many that may charge you for that. Overall the quality has changed and the restaurant needs to change everything from A to Z. I would reccomend.
No matter how much they tried to convince us otherwise the chicken was not fresh. It smelled and tasted sour. I took one bite of potato salad from the salad bar, it also tasted sour I am not one to complain have a look at my reviews. They charged us full price instead of offering any discount to rectify the situation. That is the reason for my 3 stars. If the chicken was marinated on Saturday as we were told, left in the fridge no wonder it tastes sour on Tuesday night. Anyways my sons wrap was alright chicken from the rotisserie.. and daughters frozen chicken fingers were all right.. I am not gonna return sorry. Thanks for the effort.
This place never disappoints. The chicken, whether it be the leg or the breast, is alwaysoist and never dried out. If you are not picky as to which part of the bbq you have and you going for lunch, have the Chefs Choice. What a great deal. Dessert and a drink is included. Lots to eat. Add the salad bar for a small extra and you have lots and lots to eat. Enjoy.
The waitress Dimitra made us pay for the order from another table by mistake...
Great place for lunch, friendly waitress and tasty chicken sandwich and Portuguese chicken. I subbed my fries for poutine and it was so good. Ill be back for more on my next weekday lunch.
The salad bar was super The waitress nice person
I love the salad bar here
Very good menu. Service a little slow but good!
Food ok but used to be a much better deal. Expensive salad bar add on for what it is.
WORST experience ever! Will never go to any Scores in my life! I come for lunch with my mom, we want to order a two leg meal with the apetit salad bar. The waiter told me it is impossible to just order one main course with the apetit salad bar, so we said fine, we will order chicken plus a main course salade bar($16.99). We think the price is bit high but my mom really want some vegetables. Then the waiter told us the salade is not shareable. After that, that waiter comes several times, like every 5 to 10 mins, just to tell us the salad is not shareable! I told him I understand. Then my chicken come. Surprisingly, the chicken only have fries but do not have even one piece of vegetable!! I strongly doubt that Scores is using this way to push customers add the salade bar. We hesitate if we should add another person s salade, but when I saw my mom s plate and tasted a bit, I feel that it is not worth to spend extra $7. Then We start to eat our food. My mom took a bowl of vegetable soup, she didn t like it. But I felt it s a waste if just throw it away, so I take some. Then the waiter come again! Tell me that I shouldn t take the food from salad bar. I explained that my mom doesn t want this soup and I take it because I don t want to waste. The waiter said no he was watching me and I ve been keeping eating the salad food. I was so angry and felt insulted! I respected the rule of the restaurant even though I think this rule is ridiculous, but I was still treated like a thief, just because I tasted two bites and don t want to waste the soup! I was so angry and decided not to follow the stupid rule! I started to eat food in my mom s plate. Then the waiter came again, said he will let us leave the restaurant and charge me extra money of the salad bar! I ve never been treated so rudely!!! The chicken is not good also! Dry like it has been reheated for several times! I haven t been to Scores since the pandemic. And my mom came all the way from China to visit the city I live. I want to give her a great experience and going to Scores is the worst decision I ve ever made! KEEP AWAY from this restaurant!!!
I specifically ordered a baked potato as a side but got a mountain of fries instead which I did not want. Word to the wise: when ordering takeout, open up all the packages before you leave the restaurant to ensure you got exactly what you ordered. It seems that the customer has to do the quality control instead of the restaurant.
Good service Good food
Our sports team had a great meal using the room in the back. All the kids and their parents enjoyed a good meal. Thank you!
Had dinner with my family last night wasnt good the chicken Parmigiano had no taste just some plain tomato sauce with the spaghetti the chicken brochette was dry and overcooked the rice had no taste missing seasoning the salmon was overcooked and placed on a board to make it look bigger the only good thing was the salad bar
Wonderful as always
I ordered chicken brochette on Friday Dec 16th, 2022 from Scores DDO. The brochette was over cooked, dry and some parts were burned. I ordered cooked veggies but I got rice. That was not a good food at all! Vegetarian options: That is a good idea they have cook veggies.
