I love this place and so will you! Great beer, and good food. If you want a taste of the west coast, and meet awesome people this is the place
Nice and casual place to stop in for a beer and snack, patrons were friendly. We got the nachos they were great lots of toppings! They had beers on tap from "twin city Brewing" they were good though a very small drink menu;Not much selection. Didn't find the server friendly, she was in a rush to leave our table rather than answer questions or offer recommendations.
We went to Pastimes the other night for the first time. We were helped by Tiesha (sp?) who was an amazing waitress!!! She was patient and so friendly but not intrusive. The food which came so so quickly, was outstanding. The menu was wonderful and the food even better. So often when we go out the food ends up being disappointing but not this night!!!! We absolutely will be going back and going back!!!

Wow! We stopped here to eat and watch some Monday night football recently while on a fishing trip. I was pleased to find a clean, bright pub with top notch food and portions. As well, there were TVs everywhere! Staff were very friendly and prompt too. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for pub type food in Alberni. You WONT be disappointed. Enjoy!!
Food was good and well priced. Service the weak point here. Drinks remain empty without an offer to fill. Even when I asked had to ask again. Waited a good long long time for the server to come to the table to collect for the bill. Finally had to go to the bar to pay.
Better to starve. We came here when everything else was closed. It’s usually a miss for food in Port Alberni but this was horrendous. The nachos had mouldy peppers on them. The chef took them back to the kitchen and confirmed they were mouldy. Didn’t take care of our drinks or anything. Bad review seriously warranted!
Fair price, friendly service. Food was fine - nothing to write home about. My grilled panini was the thinnest panini I've seen. Lots of filling, but bread so thin I couldn't pick it up.

Great service. The poor girl, only one on duty, and only one bartender, was run off her feet. Kept things going & nobody waiting too long. Time to cut CERB and send people back to work.
