We've been dreaming of opening a restaurant together for years. Now we finally have the opportunity to serve everyone the best quality we can. The best crêpes in town! We've got a passion for delicious, top quality food, served exactly how you like it. Our menu is set up to cater to special dietary requirements; we believe everyone deserves something delicious and beautifully appetizing.

I wanted to give this restaurant another chance after a year of not eating at it. There has been some improvements, but not a ton. Trying here again, my crepe seemed rather soggy. The berries inside and the cream tasted excellent however. I had also ordered a hot chocolate, and I will say. The drinks from this place are amazing, much better than anything from Starbucks or McDonalds. The unfortunate part is though, my drink was only filled up half way. This is an ongoing trend every time I have dined or ordered from Ironworks. If you want to charge $4.85 for hot chocolate, I expect my drink to be filled up all the way. TLDR: I rate this restaurant 3/5 because my drinks are always half way filled and the crepes themselves sometimes are served soggy. This place has potential, a TON of potential.
We stumbled on this place due to a wrong turn and so glad we did! It was a very nice surprise to find. Had a wonderful gluten free savory crepe and my husband had the special. Ingredients were fresh and very well seasoned. The staff was lovely and friendly. Thanks!
Outstanding service, great food (our group highly recommends the Nutella strawberry banana crêpe, the Mexican breakfast crêpe, the iced coffee flight & the iced tea flight!) generous portions with really good prices & a super cute atmosphere! All around awesome vibes ✨🩷 made our experience of visiting Port Alberni exceptional!
Amazing crepes and coffee selections. Had the Vegan Crepes and the "FLIGHT" that has 4 different drinks on a board and it was all fantastic, just like the service from the 3 staff. Highly recommend. You don’t always get service like this combined with great food and beverages.
I thought it would be greasy, but it was so delicious and sweet. The staff was really friendly and the store was clean, so I felt good.

The crepes are very hearty and filling. It's very busy but I feel the wait is worth it. The Mexican Breakfast Crepe was very filling and flavourful with the eggs, salsa and beans. It was slighty spicy. The crepe itself was served piping hot. Location is clean and has plenty of seating.
The savory spinach crepe that we ordered was pretty decent. Staff were super friendly as well. It was a nice low key spot that we stopped at on our drive back from Tofino. That said, it was a bit awkward to find the sugar and the coffee wasn't a five star coffee.

Wish I could give 10 stars for food and service. You definitely dont go here for the ambience. Perfect crepe every time. Dietary restrictions: We appreciate the creative dairy alternatives.

Delightful staff, great prices and amazing Coffee and snacks. Open on a Monday when so many other cafes were closed. Would definitely recommend also beautiful recovered wood panel wall gave the place a nice cozy feel. Vegetarian options: Vegan friendly snacks and treats

I never eaten a crepe. I had a breakfast crepe very good with a latte. I gave it a 3 star for the atmosphere because it was loud. The style of open ceilings. Echo, loud.

Great service, cute and clean space, yummy affordable crepes, one of my fave hangouts in PA. To the ones that complain about pricing, go to the crepe places on the mainland then whine and nag! I ll always support this place when in town.
I waited here for someone who was buying off my marketplace, the ladies had no problem as it was cold out. It smelled great and as a result I got to see their menue and will update after Ive dined here. Thanks gals for being so polite and accommodating, great atmosphere!
We stopped in for a couple lattes and breakfast on our way to Tofino and were impressed with the kind service and the great food. We split the Mexican breakfast crepe and they plated it on two plates for us, we both left full and happy. Well be back next time were in town.
London fog was delicious my friend loved the Nutella strawberry crepe
White hot chocolate is amazing as is everything on the menu. The staff, ownership and everything is just perfect. Also, extremely organized with large takeout orders which my office gets regularly. I recommend the mexican breakfast crepe.

Excellent crepes and delightful coffee! We had the seafood crepe and the spinach crepe with brie. They were both well filled and very tasty. The staff was very, very friendly and the atmosphere was small town relaxed and cosy. So take it from pancakeloving Dutchies: lower those shoulders and enjoy your lunch at Ironworks!
The crepe was underwhelming. The batter was a bit thick and the fillings were not evenly distributed. I had the breakfast crepe so one side had all the bacon and no mushroom and the other side had all the mushroom but no bacon. The flavour was a bit bland. I saw another table didn t finish their crepes so I know it s not one off. The servers seemed nice but I saw another table with a grandma and 2 kids waiting for 20-30 mins for their order. I think they forgot as it wasn t busy at the time. I feel bad for them as they were clearly hungry and very upset. I had tried Ironworks in Nanaimo and Ladysmith and they were both good so I was disappointed. Dietary restrictions: Gf, keto crepe available

We live across the street! So convenient. Of course we made it for the grande opening. Deena asked if I knew what I was going to order. I simply said one of each! It was so delicious and filling. I think I will have to come back for lunch too!

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. We ve been here twice since it opened. The only thing I would change: Would be great if they added a water station so we could get waters ourselves instead of bugging staff when they are busy. :) ham & Swiss + s mores

Excellent experience with takeout. Tried the Mexican Breakfast Crepe, which was delicious. Easily accommodated a dairy allergy. Looking forward to dining in another time.

Was tasty definitely! ..we ordered 4 crepe flavours and doubled them but misunderstanding that was not 2 crepes per order but double the stuffing in each crepe . Will try again as a treat for the grown ups but @ $100 to feed family of 5 not economical
Great place to treat yourself to a lovely breakfast. Vegan and GF options were very good. The drinks were also great. Good atmosphere where you are not getting bothered every 2 secs by servers.
I stopped in with a co-worker and had an Americano while my co-worker had a latte. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Americano was. My co-worker stated the latte was excellent. I ll be back if I find myself in Port Alberni again.
First time visiting Alberni. Was looking for a snack and a coffee. Well this was hands down the best crepe I have had in years. Normally they are little hand held in a cone crepe but this was a legit fork and knife deep dive crepe. Had an Americano super smooth coffee. Will be coming back for sure.

Expensive average crepes that look great for social media posts. That being said, the service was nice and the shop is really cute. For vegans, be warned that the gluten free buckwheat batter is not vegan, and the only vegan batter option is whole wheat.

Was totally looking forward to try this place! Unfortunately lack of processes and leadership with staff leads to customers feeling awkward trying to order and even picking up ordered items. The crepes were thick and folded on each like pancakes! $55 later left thinking what a waste of time and money! We will never be back!

Killer crepes! I tried the Mexican, ham & cheese, and the peach. They were all fantastic. The coffee is also good here.
Great people, excellent food.
Lets start with the positives: Crepes were good (4/5) and very filling, mainly due to the excessive use of cream. I wont return due to multiple reasons: - Staff felt quite dismissive when trying to order - We had to wait for 40 (!) minutes to receive our order of 3 crepes (Dine-in). - Very expensive. 12.50 CAD for a filled sweet Crepes, 16.50 if you choose a savory one
Crepe were nice, both savoury and sweet. Although the butter squash was too spiced up. And the dough for the crepes had too much floue on the mix, which made them a little big thicker than should be.

I crave the Mexican breakfast crepe all the time. The staff are lovely, and the coffee is great. Last time I was there I bought 2 tumblers as well, and they are awesome

I always forget photos of my crepes bc they look so good I dig in right away! Definetly one of my favorite breakfast/lunch places in town. The first time I went was mine and my dads birthday brunch and they gave us a complimentary birthday crepe with sweet cream filling, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles! It was super cute & tasty! Not as thin as traditonal french crepes but just as delicious. Both sweet and savory options for whatever Im feeling at the time, and the dressing for the side salad is soooo good! Id buy a whole bottle if i could. Pet friendly patio so your little buddy can come along too. Great drink options, both hot and cold. Plus, a super clean environment with a friendly and welcoming staff! Ive always gone in between peak periods so my max wait time has been 10mins +/-. Always excited to come back and have some more!
So good! My wife ordered a savory crepe and I ordered a sweet one, and then they split them for us. 4 plates of goodness!
