While there's room for improvement, the food is tasty, authentic, and reasonably priced. The restaurant has nice decor and atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly.

We have enjoyed our meals here many times. We always order Thai because one of us is gluten free. The food is fresh, healthy and authentic Thai. The Pad Thai is simply the very best!
Very good food, and I am not joking. Must order the pineapple seafood fried rice. Egg foo yung shrimp. Very very very delicious. The owners are very kind, very nice, and very welcoming. Will come to this restaurant every time I visit Port Alberni!
I don’t know if we caught them on an off night but I won’t eat here again. An empty restaurant during lunch hour is not generally a good sign. Ordered chow mein and ginger beef. The chow mein was pale and covered in a gloopy, flavourless sauce. The ginger beef was served with onions and peppers that weren’t even cooked.
Nice family (Mom and Pop) run restaurant. Food was very tasty. My favorites were the pad Thai and ginger beef crisp. Authentic Thai food
Absolutely delicious. Group of 3 split 5 items from Thai menu and all were very impressed. Beef isn red curry was the best, goes fantastic over the Jasmine rice.
This venue serves as a great meal opportunity! Always fresh + always hot. Both Thai + Chinese cuisine are offered. The place is charming + cozy. The menu may be small but, the there are no bad choices. As it is a small business, they are only open for dinner.......from 4:30-8:00, Monday to Saturday.
Excellent service and food highly recommend
A very clean and tidy Chinese restaurant, spotlessly clean! The red sofa in the bathroom is in better condition and cleaner than the seats in the dining area of many other restaurants. In short, it is exceptionally clean and has no blind spots! The chefs skills are also very good, he cooks very carefully and the dishes are always clean, so they are very delicious and suit our taste! The service is also very considerate! I want to give it 5 stars, highly recommended!
I traveled there from Taiwan many years ago and accidentally ate at Asia Garden. I would like to eat there again if I have the chance! Enjoy a delicious meal and a bottle of beer to reminisce about the good times.
Amazing food.
The taste, the food is really cooked with care, the taste is very good and the environment is hygienic and high-quality. I will definitely try it again if I have the opportunity to go there again. It is a restaurant worth recommending.
I traveled to the local area a few years ago and was attracted by the classical and elegant decoration of this Chinese restaurant. I felt that I could feel the taste of home away from home. The highlight is that the dishes are delicious, full of color, aroma and flavor. The soup is also very authentic. The barbecued pork is delicious. It is worth recommending and sharing next time I go to Vancouver. I will go to the store again to reminisce. This Chinese restaurant really puts its heart into the food.
I have had dinner at this Chinese restaurant in tourist attractions before. The taste and texture are really great. You can eat such delicious rice and freshly fried meals abroad. It is really delicious and worth sharing.

Excellent food and value
This restaurant looked good online but unfortunately they do not offer delivery.
There is no restaurant cleaner than the Asian garden for 100 miles. Might not be big but it is spotless! And I really liked the pad tie- the real deal. Has the required fish sauce, rice noodles, pepper kick, delicious! Now I need to return to try some of their other goodies.
Excellent food and service
I tried this during the pandemic and take out Is the only way I will order from anywhere even though there was a couple dining in when I picked up my order. I was not impressed because firstly the portions of meat are obsolete in this place. The size was ridiculous and small! The quality of food I found was okay for some but like I said no meat where there should be and small amounts for the dinner for 3. It s very greasy food too! I will not be ordering there again! Better options in town.

Absolute waste of money. The quality of food is worse than the buffets in town but its priced like a 3 star or better. The pad Thai was made with poor quality ingredients and obviously they are minimizing meat portions to save money. Barely any shrimp or chicken. wasthe pad Thai was $17 for a 1/2 filled take out box worth. The spring rolls are not made in house, and were previously frozen and obviously freezer burnt....save your money and stomache ache and eat at the Asian buffets in town.

Young Chow fried rice is the best meal you will ever eat. Friendly owners, very clean restaurant, you will be hard pressed to find a speck of dirt anywhere.

This is the best Chinese / Thai restaurant in Port Alberni. Food is always excellent and served hot. Husband and wife team operation. Ivy is so friendly. Weve taken many visitors and they have all been impressed even when we arrived 10 minutes before closing for a take out order: no problem!
