We ferment and distill the ‘Spirit of Alberni’ with locally sourced grains and fruit, while crafting our products with the 'wild-at-heart' in mind. By sourcing recycled bottles and by keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible, we want to lead the new wave in sustainable craft distilling. Our vision is to create a postcard for the Alberni Valley. With fine spirits and excellent food, we plan to become the new heartbeat in a growing community.

Excellent food, drinks and desserts. The staff and the owner Milo are very friendly, polite and helpful. During our visit to Port Alberni, we went there 3 times and would recommend this restaurant. Great ambiance. Thank you 😊
While this place is fairly new so they are limited on the spirits they sell. Their whiskey is still aging. I will be back in 3 years. The food was wonderful. The owner was delightful and talked about how they started. Great atmosphere.
Food was great, actually too beautiful to eat, nicely presented. Drinks were different but in a good way. Very unique and colorful. I enjoyed the taste too! The atmosphere inside is nice, inviting, and the music is not too loud. Yes! Go eat here. Worth it!
Beautiful restaurant with many fine details - everything from the tableware to the menus to the individual gorgeous washrooms was a delight. Friendly and attentive staff enhanced the experience. And last but not least: the food, drinks, and desserts were heavenly! Wonderful experience and I look forward to returning next time I’m in Port Alberni!
We were a group of six visiting from Vancouver and swung by Antidote for Happy Hour. This place is a real gem that puts many places in the city to shame. The cocktails are creative and crafted with care, the food is beautifully presented and delicious, and the service and decor are both top notch. I hope the community supports this business because they're really working to earn it. I've been to many craft distilleries in the province, and Antidote is doing a standout job with their spirits. Prices are more than fair - far below what you'd pay in Vancouver. Having visited Handshake speakeasy in Mexico City earlier this year, we are no strangers to really good craft cocktails. And Antidote makes damn fine cocktails! We were all impressed with and we look forward to our next visit.
The cocktails are original, beautifully presented and delicious, and, even though this is a distillery, they also have a very respectable selection of mocktails on offer. We came in for their “Anti-Hour” and were also impressed with the food on offer. We especially enjoyed the taco, the burger and the mango prawns. Service was extremely personable and professional, and the restaurant and patio have a nice ambience.
I was visiting Port Alberni and wanted to check out something new with a group of friends. Decided to try out Antidote. I had an exceptional experience at this cocktail bar! Their black gin was truly amazing (my favourite was The Antidote) and the food surpassed my expectations. The attention to detail in presentation from cutlery to bar ware, was spot on. The cleanliness and individualized touch in all three bathrooms were impressive. The service was excellent, making my visit truly enjoyable. My only regret was not taking more photos! A definite 5-star rating!
The new best dining experience in Port Alberni. Electric swing, speecheasy with intentional elegance. Specializing in cocktails with house made black gin.. this place is an attraction setter. Reservations recommended.

The inside of this resturaunt is stunning, and the drinks are even better! Thank you to our delightful server who found us a spot for our stroller so we could try out their yummy gin!

A beautiful birthday celebration!! Stunning and delicious cocktails, lovely service by Kristin and front of house team and Matthew and his bar team made drinks come to life. Blown away at the attention to detail in each and every cocktail and dish which landed on our table. The mussels were amazing and the burrata bruschetta is like nothing you ve had! Port Alberni, way to step it up! Well done all around!
Incredible! The cocktails are unique and unlike anything available in the area. The Mussels were outstanding. We had the Gin/tomato as well as the coconut curry and both were among the top dishes I ve ever had. Absolutely we will be back.
This neat little joint has 5 star potential. The food was flavourful and fresh (the coq au gin wow) signature cocktails were visually exciting and tasty- just need a little more variety (like a gin based caesar or something), and the table I was at was a little uneven. Ultimately, I will be coming back; I definitely recommend. It s an experience and am looking forward to coming back in future. (Picture is the creme brûlée- so good!)
Attended the opening last night. What an amazing experience. I can not believe that Port Alberni now have a world class cocktail lounge with excellent food. I plan on eating here every week.

Last night we held our Fandrakis Carpentry Christmas party here. The place is amazing. The food and drinks were on another level. But the staff treated us like family ! All stars from Jennifer and myself ! Thank you for a wonderful evening. We ll be back soon.
Was excited to try it, it is a great place for this town. Lacking detail for sure (tippy tables, long waits for food, dress code/atire, cleanliness of bathrooms!) but hope to see that improve as they continue food and drinks were delicious, nice small menus so you know everything is fresh
