Waited 45 minutes for 2 pastas and a kids meal. The restaurant was not even that busy, it was around 3pm in the afternoon.

Wasnt the best experience Saturday evening, June 29th. Had an entire Boston size beer spilt on me as drinks were brought to the table. The waitress was apologetic, but no follow up from management. Group of 8, meals took over 45 mins to receive with the restaurant at maybe 50% capacity. Had the steak which honestly, wasnt anything amazing. Total group bill after mandatory tip and tax, approx. $550. Probably not going to be one of my must return too spots to visit again.

Ordered with my son our food shows up and instead of chicken parm with a side garden salad I get a piece of chicken and a plate of salad no spaghetti. Worst service ever. Then the second round of drinks we ordered never made it to our table either. Save your money eat somewhere else

Not very good pizza.

Fast service, food was great. They have the best ribs and wings I have ever had. Their bar makes great drinks. Very child friendly. Kind staff. Dietary restrictions: I believe they have a gluten-free option for their pizza. Parking: Lots of parking around the building. They do share a parking lot with a few other businesses, but that has never stopped me from finding parking. It actually made it easier to get a parking spot. Kid-friendliness: Kids love it there they look so happy to be there. Their kids menu has a good selection. Wheelchair accessibility: They have 4 handicap parking spots right in front of the main doors.

If you like a pizza with no toppings. Blah.

Asked for high chair, did not receive chair had to ask again and then recieved a greasy unsanitized highchair. Received order, while eating I pulled out hair from my mouth I mentioned this to the manager and they removed the order from the bill.

I love the build your own pasta and pizza option. Their food was mouthwatering and tasted flavorful. The pizza was great, along with the pasta.

The staff were really trying hard being understaffed and all. The clubhouse was meh but I still enjoyed the place. Kid-friendliness: Boys got along well here.

Quiet when we were there. Waiter seemed to have forgotten about us after serving food, but the off duty manager (?) ended up stepping up and helping us.

Paying concert prices for a draft beer. Table so filthy you could carve your name in the grime. Never again.

I come into town for work, this is my Go to, been there 3x in the last week and all 3x this place has ignored me, I m by myself from out of town, I don t have complicated orders usually wings , drink maby a dessert. And all I do is get ignored here, got here waited 10 minute to be seated, another 15 to get asked for drink, another 15 to ask for food, 45 between food and desert, now at 20 mins for the bill. Extremely disappointing especially cause this place is probably only 30% full.

Ordered delivery 2 pastas and a pizza. The pastas were dry with no visible sauce other than what was dried to the noodles. Meatballs dried out.

From what I ve heard from various people, management is abusing their authority. They need to be heavily reconsidered, due to unreasonable anger, their cleanliness and their awful treatment towards their employees. Please take this review into consideration, unlike the rest of them. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

The waitress was great but we are sure the kitchen messed up the orders. We watched other tables get their meals before us. 1.5 hours later and 4 hungry athletes

We were 2 families went to eat here, but the waitresses attitude was really unfriendly and unwelcoming. We left without even getting in. Not recommended!

Very disappointing! We waited 45 minutes for a terrible meal. Staff claimed they had an issue with my bun! New bun was still frozen, chicken could have bounced off the table, barely a tsp of sauce on bun. Our fries were cold because of the delay, my partner s burger was a charred puck!! Just awful! We will never attempt a meal at Boston Pizza again!

The food is what you expect with some very tasty Pizza and lots of other dishes. I enjoyed the large variety of dishes and also the option to choose several sizes for the Pizza. The service was excellent! I did find the food very pricey for standard fast food. Food

Came in and ordered well done wings and crispy fries.. After a 25 minute wait, we recieved soft soggy everything.. wings werent even warm to the touch.. disgusting. Wont be coming back here And the live entertainment didnt even know the words to the songs they were singing

Food was average except for my wifes gluten free pizza which was horrible. Crust was dry, hard and bitter. Service was adequate, and it seemed cheeky when the bill came that a non-negotiable 15% gratuity was automatically added. Not sure if that information was provided somewhere ahead of ordering, but if so we did not see it. You could not opt out or lower the percentage, but of course YOU COULD add more gratuity if you wanted. Dietary restrictions: The gluten free pizza crust was practically inedible. Hard, dry and bitter.

Went here recently and the barmaid would not serve my wife, saying she was drunk. We had 1 drnk b4 going there. We would have left but we ordered appies @ the same time as the drinks. 5-10 minutes later my drnk showed up and a water for my wife. No matter what we said she would not believe us. . Will never go back.

The service was excellent! Love the atmosphere here, especially on game night. The food at Boston Pizza is typically over priced, but I still love this particular BP. The pizza and pasta dishes are great! Love the Mac N Cheese.

My favourite place to eat in port alberni; the waitress remembered mine and my brothers order! Really appreciate the welcoming atmosphere. Live music was good too! This is by far the most Boston pizza Ive even been to. Food takes forever then its cold and uncooked when you get it. And they dont fulfill their online orders they just cancel them.

I m usually pretty skeptical about the quality and service from bigger restaurants franchises such as this. But . the service was good and the food was decent. Glad this restaurant is one of the few late night options in Port Alberni I would definitely come back here.

Basic sports bar feel, just a little in the expensive side.

I ordered an extra sauce for my pasta online. When I went to the store to get food, I arrived 10 minutes earlier than the pick up time, but my food was already prepared and stored. I did the same with the last order, but there was no extra sauce, so today I asked the staff to confirm the extra sauce before paying. She asked the other staff(did the packing), not the kitchen, about the extra sauce, and their answer was the same: there is no container for the extra sauce, so maybe the extra sauce is on top of the pasta. My pizza had been made for a long time, so the bottom of the pizza box was wet and the dough and toppings were all cold. After arriving home when all the sauce was mixed, the pasta had a white part because there was not enough sauce. Its not the first time, but Ive been through it twice, so Im leaving a review. And I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff who packed my food. My request must have been quite annoying and unpleasant to her. I will no longer do takeout.

Its decent and definitely a good spot for a beer and watch the game. Ribs were decent and pasta is good. Several beers were out not on tap when there and it took a while to get a drink at the bar and wasnt too busy but it was a Blue Jays finals.

Personally I love Boston Pizza, Today i visited this location and the customer service here is worst, manager kiara don t even know the meaning of customer service, she was super rude we were group of 8 out of which only 5 were interested to eat here. So the rest just wanted to give us company, we all were discussing why to pay gratuity if some of them are not eating. So we all were discussing that lets take two tables because some just wanted to sit and wait for us so the Host/ server i don t know her name. She was talking to another host/server and i heard the word disgusting which was about us because i was looking at them and they were staring our group, later on the Host called the manager kiara and told us if you take two tables you still need to pay gratuity because you all entered together.. like Boston have policy to still pay gratuity if you are taking two tables???? Let me tell you manager about customer service we three girls out of 5 are GM of food court if you are trying to explain something to customer at first you need to be polite there should no eye rolling and you have to choose your words when you are talking to customers. Soo overall learn some manager skills.. and For host do you know Punjabi?? Do you know what we all were talking for which u said us disgusting? You know what actual disgusting was your customer service and negative attitude

Went in for the first time a few weeks ago, they asked me for my vaccine, and I asked for my servers, I got denied and got told do you really want to do this. Just want everyone to know that you should support business who are willing to provide what you provide. If nurses and people cant work without vaccine then no one should be able too

Waitress was missing. Good otherwise.

Was there on a Saturday just after lunch and it was not busy at all. Sat bar side. No servers were over there, just our table and another table sat by ourselves. Servers barley came over to check on us, drinks were slow and food was slower. My boyfriend said the men s washroom was disgusting with urine all over the floor.

Food was not bad , service was slow .place was empty but felt like staff never really check on you .

This is the second bad experience Ive had and wont be going back. We sat down and 10 minutes later someone asked us what we wanted to drink. 30 minutes later we got out waters after the waitress helped her friends get drinks who sat down after us. We waiting 3 hours before we eventually had our dinner in front of us. Didnt plan on eating at 10pm after getting there at 7 but okay.. food was super salty and feta cheese smelled sour. Horribly slow service, waitress was more interested in helping her friends and the bus boy was more attentive. They help the regulars faster which is no way to run a business. Super disappointed that this is the only sports bar in town.

Good wings and Pizza

One guy working in the bar area taking drink/food orders, and doing a great and fast job at it. Staff is very friendly. Our appy s came in under 10 minutes after we ordered. Maybe we just came at the perfect time but only coming here 1 time while passing through this was a really good experience.

The place was half empty and the service was very slow. Ordered two meals. The Thai chicken Caesar was just okay. The chicken Caesar would have been much better without the chicken which was rock hard and dry / disgusting.

The fish tacos that I had at the Port Alberni location were absolutely terrible. Very soggy and lacking in flavor. The restaurant was dirty and there were flies. The service was a redeeming factor with friendly staff that were attentive.

If an UFC event is happening , either have the staff available or dont take on the extra tables. Being told the min I walk in that I have to spend 25$ and required to 15 % gatunity (Which I always do , small town)is ridiculous.BEing told that the event PPV is expensive and it has to be paid for is cheap , and with having limited staff to complete the work only makes it worse .

We went in with a group of 13 at 630, we started with a waiter who took our drinks, then he never returned, a girl Named Brittney took over and she was amazing. Food wise, it took a while to get our food, our kids were starving. And adding tip automatically shouldnt be, but I also do understand.

Amazing staff, food and drinks!

Id been looking forward to a spicy perogy pizza for a long time. Consistently great. Could be a little spicier. Convenient location. Quick and friendly service. I had my pizza to go so cant really comment on the restaurant. Feels like prices are a little high - $20 for a small pizza. If you like Boston Pizza and are in the Port Alberni area, this is the Boston Pizza to go to. And yes, my photo has a bite missing. I was so hungry i grabbed a slice and took a bite before i remembered to take a pic. The pizza did not arrive with a bit missing. Lol.

Food taste funny and service is slow

It can really be hit or miss at this place. I have been a regular customer for a few months now and the service is inconsistent. The servers are usually friendly and most visits have been alright. A couple times Ive been inside to eat the server or kitchen staff have forgotten someones order usually when there are multiple people ordering the same menu item (eg the artichoke dip, 2 out of 3 arrived). I order through Door Dash quite frequently, and twice theyve forgotten an item. Just recently, I ordered a chicken clubhouse with a side Caesar salad and received no salad, but instead a cup of the bolognese sauce which I didnt order. That being said, I always try to be a good tipper and I will be back because the nachos are fire.

Gave it a third chance, after being seated and then ignored for fifteen minutes the time before. When a new table , was served drinks before us, we left! This time our server was attentive but due to being short staffed my meal took 50 minutes and was barely warm. Thankfully they replaced it, and comped my meal, the server was super nice and very apologetic, but like some other Boston pizzas we have been to, hit & miss is the norm.

The food tastes good. Their chicken wings are delicious and I really liked their twisted pizza bread thing. I got a pasta dish both times Ive been, first was the Gouda ravioli, second was there bacon penne... Thats not their official names, but still... Both had great flavor and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Its pretty quiet; they check vaccine cards at the door, which is comforting; excellent staff that didnt side-eye as my teen asked for a million things (were teaching them, I promise). The only downside is Ive gotten sick both times Ive been, and last time my partner and kiddo were ill as well, though not as severely. Thats why my rating isnt higher. Now, when I think Boston Pizza, I just feel a bit queasy.

Bad customer service. Took forever to get someone to come seat us. Then when somebody finally came to the front there scanner wouldn t read my passport. Terrible will never go this establishment again
