Pita Pit was at the forefront of the growing “fresh and healthy” eating revolution, when we opened the first Pita Pit in Kingston, Ontario near Queen’s University back in 1995. Pita Pit delivered what students, families and young professionals wanted but couldn’t find nearby; an affordable yet great-tasting fresh and healthy alternative to high-fat and high-carb fast food.

I've ordered from this location a few times, both in person and for delivery. My latest delivery experience through Door Dash was not satisfactory, and when the review pop-up appeared, I left a one-star review before thinking to contact the restaurant. I am writing to rectify that now. The rice bowl I ordered was made with cold, hard rice. It was as if the rice had been very undercooked or not cooked at all. When I called the number listed on Door Dash, I was able to speak to the owner. He immediately contacted the store and discovered that the rice cooker had malfunctioned. Even though it was near closing time, a new, larger sized bowl was prepared for me using fresh rice and personally delivered by the manager. This attention to quality and customer satisfaction, paired with the healthy and flavourful food, are deserving of 5 stars. Mistakes will happen, but it's how mistakes are handled that matters most.
We love it here! Great fresh food, super clean environment and great service! You can tell they take pride in this restaurant and it makes for a great customer experience. We will certainly be back as repeat customers!
If you're into healthy eating or just curious about what you're consuming, you should definitely check out Pita Pit. As a picky eater, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The place was spotless, and the staff was really welcoming. The wrap and smoothie were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!
Don’t bother coming here. They do not honour what is written on the menu. Refused to serve my kid a kid sized smoothie without purchasing an entire meal, despite that not being the case on the menu. No mention of that on the menu
It was extremely expensive for what you got. Shrinkflation in full effect. Service was good and the store was clean.

Always get super yummy food, one of my favorite places to go in town!! Fills me up and doesnt leave me feeling bloated or gross. Super customizable for different dietary needs & the picky eaters too :) Highly Recommend.

I had a fantastic experience at Pita Pit! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the ordering process a breeze. I tried the chicken shawarma pita, and it was delicious fresh ingredients and generous portions. I loved the customizable options and the healthy choices available. Overall, great food and service! Highly recommend!

First time visiting this pita pit. First time visiting a pita pit in over 20years. I brought my son I. While we waited for a haircut . I bought him a chicken and. Cheese pita. Small. Nothing on it because thats how kids are. A bag of chips and a soda. Over 15.00 . If he had a cookie and juice box it was 9.00 A little disappointed by choices for kids. I ordered a smoothie and halloumi & falafel. It was good. I also ordered a berry smoothie which was good. Guy making our pita, we could not hear him over the radio and hum of machines...he was also talking with his back turned to us. I told him it was put first time. No response. He then proceeded to sit in the back of the store somewhere with another worker. No one was in front but me and my son the entire time. O ly when we went to leave he came out and said have a good day.
Just got a XL pita, was massive. Big enough for two meals. Service and quality was great. Definitely recommend !

Clean restaurant, great food, and nice people.
We were having a staff event and needed some food. It s very hard to find a local place that still does sandwich style platters . I reached out to our local Pit Pit manager Manbir and enquired about their platters. They were extremely quick to get back to us, with pricing and options. We almost ordered too much but Manbir steered us into what would work better for us. We ended up with an amazing pita platter that had something for everyone, including drinks and snacks. We do have a staff member that can t have gluten and Pita Pit was able to help us out with that as well. Thanks again to Manbir and his staff for helping us out !!

Food was alright, but for 40$ we got two smallish pita sandwiches and a tiny frozen yogurt that was only filled up about 60% of the way, this is ridiculous and we will not be coming back to pay that.

Fresh food and reasonable prices!! What a great addition to the town
Im pretty happy I have a healthy option for food in town now. I ordered a double meat chicken Ceasar and got it loaded. It was very tasty. The dude who made my pita was super friendly and rolled that thing up like a pro.
