Cleanest subway, let alone cleanest fast food restaurant ive ever been to. Im sitting in a different fast food place right now thinkong about how crazy clean it was lol so clean that i had to write this in honor of that subway... Thank you for your cleanliness
Very poor customer service last night sept-9th extremely rude female working! Ordered online, she left my sandwich’s on the back table and refused to use the proper designated rack for sandwiches to go on for online orders… also about 20 staples in the bag holing it all together also stapled to the 2 sandwich wrappers inside the bag as well…..very rude and very disappointed, I won’t even talk about the actual food….. long time subway lover will not be going back….
I just bought an ice cream sandwich there because it was hot. I got to the end of Southgate and it was literal soup in the bag. I wish I had opened it when I was in the store and got a refund. I will mot return.
Bread was so old it hurt my teeth and the lady serving us looked like she hated her life... Worse subway ever.

Weirdly, I don't post a ton about Subways but this one had a cool vibe and was super clean. The service was great and they had some of the best bread I've had!
Not all Subway’s are the same. This one was very clean, well run, and staffed by people who seemed to care about making things right. Keep up the great work, your customers appreciate it!

We order through the app and they do it right every time.
I find that the staff at both Port Alberni locations are pretty friendly. When it is busy I find that you have to keep an eye out to see that the topping you want is actually what you get, I got gyped out of bacon on one occasion and cheese on another. As noted by another review the grill machine has been broken for a while, and the other location on Redford has no soft drinks because it is now broken. Seems like management could be a little more proactive in keeping the equipment in working order.
Great assortment with fresh bread.
Ordered a Canadian bacon club and paid for extra bacon and got NO bacon. Paid for a 6 pack of CHOCOLATE chunk cookies (My friend is allergic to peanut butter) and got one chocolate chunk and 4 m&m chunk cookies. Didnt even have 6 cookies either. The salad I ordered was also with extra bacon but instead no bacon yet again and it was overloaded with red onions. Couldnt even eat it. Very disappointed and a big waste of money if I am being honest

What youd expect from Subway. Clean and convenient. One very helpful staff member and what seemed to be a couple of trainees.
They are currently scamming people by making you pay twice. My brother bought all 4 sandwiches, then they were being super slow and waited until he walked out and charged my dad for 2 sandwiches as well. Happened twice in 2 weeks.

Stopped in at a particularly busy time and the folks making sandwiches deserve a raise for how they handled things. Managed a seemingly perpetual lineup of about a dozen people so impressively fast and so pleasantly.
They are not actually dine-in past 7 which wasn t stated anywhere until our family of 8 tried to sit down and eat and were told we couldn t for no apparent reason. So I guess we re eating meatball subs in the car

Stopped in for a quick lunch on the way to Tofino. The Sandwich Artist mistakenly started to prepare a 12 inch meat sandwich instead of a 6inch. The meat was taken off half of the sandwich which was then placed back in the bread shelf with the rest of the bread. This was completely the wrong way to handle food.

Was in today and credit card machine stopped working just as we were paying, staff were very good and tried their best to move things along quickly. Food is always good and staff are always friendly
This isnt a good business to deal with. I bought 2 gift cards for a Christmas gift and when they went to use them only 1 showed any money on it. So I got the card back and went to the Subway Shop to find out why. They checked the card out and said it wasnt from their store. I was surprised to get that response as I had the receipt show purchase of two cards from there. They instead that we had the wrong card. But assured me the manager would contact me. Never happened. What I suspect it was switched out by the employee when they gave me the two cards. That employee pocketed it. Do not buy gift cards for Subway at this store.

Sandwich good but nothing more
Literally just left and was so disappointed in the service. Upon arrival we identified that a maximum of 3 people were allowed in at once so waited outside. Once we could go in a fourth person also went in and the staff said nothing. Then a further 2 more people went to come in and with no directions from the employees to go outside I took it upon myself. Once we exited the store we witnessed 6 people in there and no action from the staff.

They put cheese on both sides of the bread but the only had two types of bread to choose from.
Ordered a sub on a 2 for 1 deal online. They screwed up the sauces on both subs and 1 sub was completely wrong. Ordered a BMT, ended up with no cheese, and a bunch of random veggies. Called them and let them know and they said I could get a new sub and I was happy with that. When I went in, the woman who gave my sub said I made your last sub, and I know it was fine to eat implying that I lied to get a free sub, as she handed me the remade sandwich. I told her I have the screwed up one in my truck, I can show you she said no it s ok rudely. So surprised at this customer service and how rude that employee was. I come here often and will not return.

Its a Subway, the food is edible and provides sustinance to keep your body going for another day.... and the drinks are usually cold! You get exactly what youd expect! I would recommend if youre lazy or its late.

Wheelchair accessible, parking available on-street and in a parking lot. Staff were very friendly and efficient, even throughout the lunch rush. The food was good, and the veggies were crisp!

Was good service.. very friendly staff. subway is the one place I am picky about the way I like my food made..I like my sub made a specific way and they are always happy to accommodate that without hesitation.. so I really enjoy eating at subway more then any other fast food type restaurants.. LOVE the cookies!!! But if I had to complain about something it would probably be the prices. I love it when they send out coupons and wish they did it more often cause then I could eat there alot more.

One of My favourite fast food places. But ya gotta stop making us pay sooooo much for guacamole.
Terrible place, bought a meal with my wife and our kids, 20 minutes after leaving and getting home. It came right back up, nothing looked fresh, nothing good from this location. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Never going back to this horrible location ever again.
I just ate there with my spouse and we both got instant food poisoning after twenty minutes of eating. Came out both ends for us both and almost didnt make the bathroom. May be too much information to share but this isnt the first time. I should have listened the first time we got sick and never went back but I thought maybe it was just a one time thing. Its happened more than once now why Im writing this review! Their product is not fresh if we BOTH got sick shortly after eating it! This subway needs proper care and cleanliness for their produce and meats etc! Either its not being stored properly or its passed its expiration dates, either way, this needs to be addressed.
