Great beer and honestly, a fantastic pizza!! The Hot Honey Jalapeño pizza was delicious and the 9 Oclock IPA was so smooth. Ill definitely go back again.

I have always come in for the kombucha when walking through town and was finally able to sit down to enjoy a cider with a friend on the last day of canal days. The service was great, so friendly and we didn t feel rushed. I did order a pizza to go and it was amazing. The white garlic sauce alone will have me coming back. The dough was also amazing. Everything about it was 13/10. We are already planning on coming back soon.

Food was excellent. A quiet relaxing place to lunch. The service we found was very slow though. It could be improved. It was not at a busy time.

Our family dined there this evening to celebrate my birthday. We went for supper, it was so loud in there you couldnt hear the waitress, I couldnt hear anyone at the table. So we decided to eat outside. The wait staff were great, the food I wouldnt know about. The first three things I ordered, they ran out of ( it was before 6pm) so I just ordered a burger and salad. I wasnt given an option for dressing on my salad. The dressing had parmesan cheese in it and it was terrible. Ok, no problem Ill just eat the burger, I go to pick my burger and theres a long blonde hair sticking out of it. I will never go back there. The wait staff were great though.

Food was great! Some extra flavour on the fries was a great touch. Smash burger was dynamite! Only reason I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere is because it was a middle of the week lunch and nobody was in there. Although they should because the food is great! Not being a large populated town could be contributing to that as well.

Great spot less the family with 2 small children screaming for 30 mins or more. Why bring small children to a BREWERY restaurant? Have you heard of McDonalds? Also, why not get up and take them OUTSIDE if they continue to scream disrupting everyone else inside? Otherwise, wings small but great. Pizza amazing. Crispy crust, nice and greasy and piping hot and tasty.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Quality craft beer and good food. Ive been here e ty of times and have never had a bad experience. Its a bit of a drive for me, but its always worth it.

Was a great time, was just driving by and saw they had outdoor tables so stopped to eat, its a brewery so they make there own beer. Ordered the maple beer, which was very good, also had one problem, we ordered the pulled pork pizza and got a Pineapple pizza instead, somehow it got mixed up, but was delicious anyway, will order the pulled pork pizza next time we go They also had a live singer which was nice,

I think over all had the service been better everything would have been better. The food was fine, but our ap was brought out after our entrée, no comment as to why or apology or anything. Very strange. $18 nachos that are fairly small served after your main isnt really that appealing. Server seemed tired which can happen but the runners and greeter when we came in were also the same MOJO. Didnt feel super welcomed like we were bothering them. Weve been before and its been fine but we likely wont return after this experience. Which is unfortunate we love to visit Port colborne. Maybe for take out.

Very picky on who I leave reviews for but the Breakwall burger is phenomenal. I ve had 4 in the past couple months and it s easily the best burger in Niagara at the moment. Stock order, doesn t need any add-ons or anything left off. Must have this summer on their patio. As a non-drinker the Kombucha is also amazing. Would love it if they ever decide to can it!

Moms beef on weck sandwich was like soup on a bun. Tasted fine but the puddle of liquid on the plate was gross to look at. Bun basically fell apart. She didnt eat half. I had ale pie and got a side salad instead of fries. The waitress did not ask which dressing I preferred so salad was dressed with Im assuming their house dressing. Tasted of nothing but white vinegar. Was horrible. Waitress very kindly offered to replace it with a ceaser salad which was delicious. She did also offer to have the cooks remake my moms soup sandwich but we were on a time limit at lunch and the food took over 30 minutes to come out. I took half my pie and salad home. Ate the rest of my salad for dinner and found a hair in a bite of salad. Definitely not mine as mine is a lot longer and darker. Not the first time either of us have had a bad experience at Breakwall and we both agree, we will not return. Waitress was lovely.

The double-double pizza, the smashburger and a rotating selection of beers that isn t just 15 varieties of IPA, APA, and NEIPA. Great food, great beer, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. It s worth the drive to Port Colborne no, for real!

Best dill pickle pizza

The food was fantastic! I had the steak frites with chimmichurri, au jus, and Parmesan fries and my wife had a really good cauliflower steak with this beet hummus. The beer selection was good and I really liked the sailor saison Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs and there was space to put our stroller beside the table

The new menu has moved the dining experience up a level. Not just burgers and pizza any more. I had the pork chop with mashed sweet potato, vegetables and chile crunch. It was excellent, flavourful and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the tarragon mushrooms and ricotta to start, served with crisp bread and soft Naan and had a light citrus flavour - lovely. There is also dessert on the menu now. The creme caramel was a perfect way to complete my meal.

First time here. Food was great, vibes were great, service wasnt so great. My boyfriend and I both ordered pizza and both wanted to take half to go. We initially forgot our takeout box and turned back around to grab them. We got to the restaurant about 8 minutes later and they were already thrown away. Waste of food and money. Nothing was offered to compensate this.

Breakwall is a great addition to Port Colborne! Weve enjoyed participating in their trivia nights and also just going for lunch or dinner. The menu is a bit limited, but having a few great things is better than a bunch of mediocre items. The pizza and burgers are both fantastic and I always enjoy the specials they offer. We have been many times and a few times have had issues with service but overall, a great experience. Take-out pizza is just as good as dining in as well! Definitely a go-to when in Port!

Stopped in after a road trip for a mid afternoon pizza and some craft Breakwall IPA. Everything was great. Nice to be back home in Port.

My wife and my two kids made a quick, rainy day stop here. So many mouth watering, well balanced beers in the couple of flights that we ordered. The staff were unbelievably kind. If we re ever in the area again, we hope to try their pizzas!

Went in for a birthday dinner with family and had a fabulous meal. They accommodated us with highchairs for the kids and a little something straight away for the kids to nibble on before our orders were served. They took care of the little details. The staff were fantastic and we all left happy and full.

Amazing food and friendly staff highly recommend, yes this was true 10 months ago, now the prices are terrible, service is beyond bad, menu is way smaller , tried to order beef on wick and I was told they didnt have it, Im not impressed now. Make it the way it was and have your staff working not standing around talking to one another meaning I was seated at 545 its now 634 pm and Ive had one drink food order placed and have not seen my server since..... sadly I will not return

This use to be a great place to come, unfortunately after our last visit well never be back! We waited 15mins after being seated to have our beverage order taken, waited another 45mins to place our food order. They didnt have what one person wanted, then she said shed come back although everyone else couldve ordered & came back to that person...took her 10mins to come back. Placed our order which took over and hour (2 chicken sandwiches, 1 smash burger with a salad, 1 sweet potato fries) during that time we had to ask another waitress for a drink! Table behind us (their waitress was amazing I will say) recieved their entire order, finished eating & paid before our meal came out incorrectly by another server, that server asked if this was everything. When we said we were missing our fries our server April came up behind with them and rudely said did you want her to carry them on her head, the whole experience was awful, when my boyfriend called her over to say our sandwiches were incorrect she again rudely said you want me to send it back to remove your pickles, he said no but I would like my lettuce. Not once during our meal did she check on us, I was waiting to ask for a water which I never had the opportunity to get. Im not sure who you employ but this waitress was awful, when my sister in law and I were discussing a personal situation she said the bills are correct whats the issue...she replied theres no issue, shes reminding me to take my receipt for my books at home. When you go out for a nice meal, the restaurant isnt busy, you expect to be served by a pleasant server in a decent time frame. This was brutal over 2hrs, our food wasnt good, I told her of this and was treated poorly for telling her. Never again will we be back, we use to recommend people check this place out, now it will be the opposite Very unfortunate for the staff that were working hard and pleasant. Maybe she was having an off day but the way we were treated was not ok at all. If I could give negative stars I would

Good selection of their beers on tap and also in cans/bottles for takeaway. They fill growlers, but not half growlers(/howlers). I tried a burger, my wife had the Ceasar salad, and both were excellent, and the fries are deliciously seasoned and good for stealing, it appears. Our only complaint was someone smoking on the patio, but as soon as staff found out, it was addressed. I enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day to fill a growler, and that wont be our last visit!

Went here for the first time today. I had one of the beers and the fried chicken sandwich, which might be the best I ve ever had. It was phenomenal. The beer was good as well, little bit of an very slight odd aftertaste but not odd enough to stop me from drinking every drop as the general taste was delicious. Service was okay. We will likely be back, my husband had a burger which I didn t get to try as he gobbled it down. Fries are super yummy too.

I was taken there for my birthday! It was wonderful. Everything was perfect, and I tried rhubarb beer! I highly recommend them.

Fast and friendly service with super delicious food & craft beer. Great outside patio near the Welland canal is a perfect place to have dinner! Definitely recommend coming here to enjoy it all!

Didnt eat, so cannot comment on the food. Other than the pizza the people beside us ordered looked great! Was just disappointed in the servers. Sat outside And not once did a server ask us if we would like something. I ended up going inside to get our drinks. We left after our drinks were done cause still no one acknowledged we were even sitting there.

Love this place! Came here for the first time with my parents and 2 dogs. Great location, very cute patio area outside. The server was very nice and attentive. The food and beer were delicious! Definitely going back! :)

Unfortunately not the greatest first impression. My mom and I were in town doing some errands and decided to stop by for a cold beer. Upon arrival we read the sign out front that said if we wanted to sit on the patio to let the hostess know inside which is what we did. He greeted us with a menu and told us to sit anywhere we d like. We make our way to the patio where there were already 4 tables so understandable if it s gonna be a wait no big deal, the server proceeded to bring drinks out to the table next to us, in front of us and again beside us. She then looked at us but didn t acknowledge us in anyway but proceeded to clear 2 tables and never be seen again. We understood it might ve been busy but we waited on the patio for 20 mins before deciding to walk away disappointed. Hopefully this is just an off night for the place but just a heads up to anyone looking to stop by for a nice cold beer after a busy afternoon.

I actually really like this place and have gone 3 Fridays in a row. The beer is great, and always cold, which is what keeps bringing us back. Now the food is where they are going to lose me as a regular. First time we went we ordered a a Detroit style deep dish pizza. The dough was raw so we sent it back and replaced it with a nacho platter. The second time we had a smash burger and fries, which was fantastic, some of the best fries Ive had and burger is spot on. Last night we got the fried chicken sandwich and It looked amazing, massive piece of chicken... so I thought. Both of our sandwichs were 70% batter and 30% chicken, probably 3oz of chicken. I was struggling to get a bite of chicken. Flavour was good, but cmon people are paying hard earned money and this was insulting. If this is what they are serving up it needs to be removed from the menu. Service has been nothing but great.

Not only do they have fantastic pizza and beer, they have great staff, atmosphere and pricing. The dill pickle pizza is the best I ve ever had, and the smash burger is very good as well! You can tell they use high quality ingredients in their recipes.

A friend recommended breakwall and because of the drive I was hesitant but after going Im blown away. The service, food and drinks were amazing! Its a 40 min drive to get there and I cant wait to go back.

My wife and I stopped in to Breakwall a couple of times over the long weekend as we were staying in the area. We had a great experience here! Service was friendly and efficient, the beer was excellent, and we tried the Dill Pickle pizza and loved it. We sat outside on both occasions, which was very nice for car and people watching.

Great staff and food. Tried the chicken club with a twist and loved it. Ordered mild wings but didnt realize Franks Hot Sauce was involved, beware if you have problems with spicy foods.

Went for the first time last weekend with my fiancee and some friends. Food and beer was excellent, my fiancee got the Brakewall burger and she loved it (she normally isnt a burger person) I also tried a bite and it has to be up there with one of my top burgers. I got the double double pizza which was great, the only issue I had was that the pepperoni could be more flavourful.

Honesty the beer is Excellent! Pizza is wonderful- staff is super friendly. Each beer comes with a unique story of Port Colborne the small town it is brewed in!! Update-July 2022- Pizza and beer still killer! We will definitely make the drive out again soon :)

my dad asked for a square thing to put his beer on and the waitress said, you mean a coaster???, and she brought him a round thing to put his beer on.

Breakwall catered our week-long event, twice a day. Conrad and his staff had the best, positive attitudes. And they worked HARD all week for us and still kept the same friendly service to us all. And I must mention the beer and food made us all very happy!

Beer was excellent. Waitress was amazing. Kitchen could not get it right. They brought one meal a full half hour before the other three, then mixed up the order, overcooked the pickerel. We felt bad for the wait staff. I half expected some kind of discount or compensation from management, but nothing. Shameful disappointment. ------------------------------------ Followup: Conrad from Breakwall connected with us directly and explained the situation, extending apologies without making excuses, inviting us back and offering a credit on our return. We will definitely return in the near future and I will revise this rating according to that experience. Regardless of our initial experience, this is a level of customer service rarely experienced and we look forward to returning soon.

Visiting the town of Port Colburn with friends and decided to grab some dinner here. Thursday evening the street gets blocked off to showcase classic cars from 5 pm to 8 pm. Pretty cool. This restaurant is located perfectly to view the cars while having dinner. We all ordered burgers and fries with Caesar salads. I was shocked at the size of the salad. We requested a side portion and to our surprise, it seemed large. However when we got our bill, we were charged for a regular salad to which we were surprised and the cost of a side is $3 we were charged $11. Of course, I wasnt present when the bill came so unfortunately our husbands paid the bill without questioning it. Miscommunication I guess! Other than the mix up, we enjoyed our meal.

I had the Margherita pizza and my bf had the Breakwall burger. The pizza was amazing! It was exactly how I like a pizza - tasty thin crust, crispy and flavourful. My bf loved the burger. It had the perfect char on the outside but was still super juicy. We also had a flight that included 4 different beers. We enjoyed each of them. It was hard to choose which ones we wanted full pints of. We came all the way from Toronto and we d do it again. Highly recommend!

Great craft brew collection. Often its hard to find a good food selection at small breweries but Breakwall is the exception. The gorgonzola burger was amazing matched by great, friendly service from Tara. Perfect place to set down after a bike ride.

Street parking only. When I order the Nashville chicken sandwich sometimes it comes on a nice bun, sometimes it comes on Wonder bread. Im not happy when it comes on the Wonder bread. Nice waitresses.

Was excited to check this place out as a new resident to PC Server, April needs to find a new job! Zero customer skills, set the menus on our table and walked away. Waited over an hour for food and you would at least expect an apology but apparently that is beneath her! Wont be back.
