Me and my wife checked out this little hidden gem the other day and Holy hell I gotta say their soup is without a doubt the best soup iv had in a long time, I highly recommend anyone in the area or just passing through to pick up some, you get what you pay for, imagine when you were a kid and your grandmother made soup for you when you were sick, yeah that's the feeling I got when I tried it, I will be coming back for life
First time in. The owner was extremely helpful,patient and friendly. Everything is fresh frozen with no preservatives. So far I have only had the chicken pot pie and a chicken soup, both of which were delicious. As an added bonus the owner is working on a delivery platform.
Best soup in the lower Golden Horseshoe. So friendly. The little bread twists are awful so leave them all for me. 🤣 I get several frozen to take home for later. A friend has had a box shipped to Alberta so it must be good. Can’t say enough about how good the food is. My fav is the Octoberfest sausage and pickle. Stock up folks winter is here.
The food here was excellent! Pure comfort food with an international twist. I had the potato leek soup & it was thick, rich & very tasty. The curry rice bowl with sausage was terrific too. It 's easy to tell that the food is homemade. Reasonably priced for such a high quality meal. Will definitely return when we're in town.
Ate there the first time yesterday. Went back for lunch again today. Fantastic food. Excellent soups with such great flavour and seasoning. I was really impressed. Flavours all come together nicely, and haven't been muddled or lost. That's a good soup. Potato leek is a crowd pleaser. Family loved it. The Jambalaya was excellent. Great level of spice without being over done. And I loved the Beef Pho. So satisfying and the broth was great. The fact that I watched him come to the window and pinch off fresh basil to finish it? Love it. So excellent. I also had a Chicken Pot Pie. Just get one. Pastry was great, the pie held up even out of the tin (no soggy bottom) and it was just excellent. I'll be getting lunch again there tomorrow.
Potato leek soup is amazing with their bread sticks. Pretzel bites are good. The owner was friendly with excellent service. Can't wait to try more of their stuff. Update: I've been going back to try more soups. The Italian wedding with sausage was one of the best soups I've ever had. Add garlic butter when you heat up their bread sticks to extra flavour.
I had the chance to meet the owners of the Saucy Pot today and found them to be warm and friendly people who have eclectic tastes in food. I had heard so many good things about this little treasure in Port Colborne and rightly so. I had the curried sausage and rice (to die for) and delicate butter tarts you can eat without any real guilt (they didn't make it home).The food is hot, fresh, tasty and a dash of homemade goodness. The menu has so many good things to choose from and explore and the menu changes each day. The Saucy Pot is definitely a place to return to again and again. The old saying "try it...you'll like it" applies here.
Not only is the food fantastic the people are lovely.
Never open last time I came the food was severely under cooked and wanted to give it a go but no luck maybe I an update this in the future

The best place to eat in Port Colborne. There is always 1-2 or sometimes more delicious vegan options. Lots of GF too, if that is what you want. Just overall delicious, homemade food. TSP is part of my weekly routine!

This is a quaint little place. Take out only but the food is delicious. Grab something and head down to HH Knoll park and sit by the marina and watch the boats while you enjoy being close to the waters edge! Edit: My first review was written shortly after visiting not too long after they opened for business. Since I live close by, I get to see the traffic coming and going. Tyler and Christine have done a great job making QUALITY food! Not only that, they are both super personable and do a great job remembering peoples favs and are always great to talk to. They have certainly established themselves with the regulars. They are often adding to an already fabulous menu. Try the mexi-quiche...its ONE of my favs! Italian wedding, classic chicken are also REALLY good. IMO...everything Ive tasted is delicious!!
Home cooked meals, excellent service , the owner goes out of his way the accommodate your needs. Some pot pie orders need to be put in days in advance cause of the large demand...its that good. One of my favorites is the blue cheese beef pot pie. Oh and the Ty coconut soup is a winner.
Absolutely one of my favorite places to get food! The soup is ALWAYS the best and their corn muffins are straight up to die for! Plus the owners are the sweetest people! 10000000% recommend

Stoped in for lunch, left with a box, everything looked so good! Banana muffins are out of this world, normal size like we enjoyed growing up not the supersize size ones you find today. I love a good potato salad Tyler makes a great one. Christine recommended the sausage and apple pot pie. Not something Id normally choose. This Id recommend, the pie crust is fantastic, even cold LOL. Cant wait to try the tourtiere.

Soup is always good & reliable. Excellent baked goods & corn bread muffins. Cant beat the lunch deal. LOVE the gumbo & jambalaya - I lived in New Orleans and these are both as close as I have had to the authentic! Service cant be beat - knowledgeable & helpful in helping you decide because they know went into it because they MADEit!
Weve been told to try The Saucy Pot quite a few times. We finally did and were not disappointed! Me and my sister ordered soup from their establishment when we were sick and didnt want to cook anything lol. I got spicy sausage Italian wedding soup and she got French onion. She ate her large soup in 5minutes lol mine was gone as fast as the spice would allow and it knocked the cold right out of me! Needless to say we will absolutely go back and 100% reccomend them to any one, any time for any occasion.
Just got some soups from here this morning and a quinoa dish. Wow wow wow!! How could I have missed this place for all this time in port Colborne? I m gluten free and there is absolutely no where in port Colborne for food that I can eat, but this place is fantastic! Now I have a gluten-free place in town! Thank you!!!!!!

Soups and salads are fantastic especially with food allergies. The cook makes the soups to suit alot of different allergies, milk, gluten, etc.

What soup sorcery is this? Never been here before and would have driven past the place had I not checked Google for places to eat. You must eat here! Top notch food and meat pies bursting with meat. Seriously though. Just eat here!!! Keep your cash local. Our meal came out cheaper than McDonalds.
