I recently visited this café and had a wonderful experience. The coffee was fantastic—rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. The ambiance was also very inviting, with a cozy, relaxed vibe that made it easy to unwind. Whether you're there to work, read, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee, this place is a gem. Highly recommend
Amazing atmosphere the coffee was absolutely delicious and sweet without any added sweetener to it, the cake tasted pretty good and they had a new seasonal drink, apparently we were the first to order it? But it tasted pretty good as well, the staff were really friendly, really recommend this place! Wish i lived closer so i could come more often
Seats are a little uncomfortable but it doesn’t stop me from getting a good coffee. My go to place to grab a drink before heading to work. The coffee arts are so cute l. On slower days I love to order the black sesame chicken salad and catch up with school/work stuff. The baristas are all so friendly and can make the drinks within reasonable time even in busy days(it gets really busy trust me) I also like that it stays open pretty late compared to other coffee shops. (Ps I might be a little biased bc I think I have a crush on one the baristas HAHA whoops)
This place is great to work at. They have outlets and the atmosphere is calm. The music is great too. My absolute favourite thing about this cafe is their drinks. The tiramisu latte was amazing and well balanced, not too sweet and just the right amount of flavour to coffee. I had their coffee cake and it was dry and bland, would not recommend.
I came here for the first time from all the way in Burnaby! I've been wanting to go here for months but never had a reason to commute all the way out here. I'd say the ambience of this cafe is sooo nice, it looks aesthetic, clean and spacious. Soo much seating available as well~! I love pretty looking cafes. The food, desserts and drinks were delicious as well. I really loved the sky blue lavender latte. It was soo creamy, light and tasted almost like cereal milk. The carrot cake also desserves its recognition. I eat carrot cakes everywhere and make them at home as well. I'd say it tasted amazing. Will be coming back one day if I'm around the area! Worth the drive.
Very stylish Korean coffee shop in Port Coquitlam! The inside is so spacious and bright and it feels so good just sitting inside. The cake was a little sweet for me but the drink was refreshing and tasty!
A beautiful space with high ceilings and pleasant vibe with a cup of coffee, read or work! The latte is good while I didn’t realize Ube latte is just flavored with milk and no espresso disappointed with my choice. The art on coffee is so beautiful. The cinnamon crumble coffee cake is so dry, lacking any flavor. Wouldn’t try food again but maybe would choose for a coffee only. Lots of free parking available and free wifi. Staff is friendly!
This Korean-owned café offers a spacious and bright environment, making it a comfortable place to dine. The dishes are creative and delicious. I especially love the Cinnamon Crumb and Carrot Cake(it’s soft, moist, and has a wonderfully aromatic flavor.)
Nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious pastry.
A relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Please change the lids for take out hot drinks. First, I struggled to put it on. Second, 10 minutes later I spilled the Americano all over myself because lid popped open
Cant go wrong here. nitpicking but why my chocolate chip cookie has nuts, just make a regular chocolate chip cookie. Really cool seasonal events held here though its worth dropping by occasionally.
Coffee and food is amazing!! The baristas there take their time with latte art adding an excellent touch to customer service. Always have new monthly drinks too!
Great coffee and pastries
I love the vibe and food, this is one of my favourite places to spend time
We as family love coming to this coffee shop. There is a drink/food for everyone here. My 4 yr old can eat the blueberry tart, my husband got caramel latte and myself brewed coffee. Everything tasted amazing, always. The Dubai Cookie is unique and delicious, a must-try!! The seats are a bit awkward, but it actually works well for my wiggly daughter. Always clean and relaxing atmosphere. We look forward to our next visit!
Very cool place. A bit loud but I feel that was due to the size of the place.
Spacious place!! Good selection of Coffee and Food.!! Food
A bit more expensive than most but good coffee and baked goods. Seats are very hard and the few cushions thin. A little hard on old backs and spines! Edgie and fun vibe. Food
The taste of the cake is so-so, nothing special. Its a bit lighter compared to Korea. The staff had a bad expression on their faces as if something was wrong, and the food was even worse. It would be better to change the chef. It was a waste to give money
I have been going to C Market every month or so since it opened in Port Coquitlam. The service from staff and quality of food and drinks are always excellent. Today , I stopped in and only had cash on me and lady at the till said they do not accept cash. This shocked me as I dont agree with companies that refuse cash. Luckily my gf had her card on her and paid for our 2 coffees and snack. The most concerning thing I saw today was a young asian male and female with their baby possibly staff or possibly the owners children and how they disrespected health and safety around food preparation. The 2 came into the building and started taking down the Halloween decorations. While taking everything down , he kept walking in and out of the kitchen and around the til putting the pumpkins in the garbage. This young male never thought once to wash his hands after putting his hands in the garbage then going into the fridge/cooler and taking stuff out. To me that was pretty disgusting to watch. I still recommend the coffee shop but today was a bad experience
Cute place, friendly staff and good food selection but they are not very on top of keeping the cafe clean, lots of dirty tables, not wiped down or food removed. Otherwise it would have been a 5/5.
I liked their tea and chocolate cake. Its good place to take a friend . Clean and food are fresh
I love it there I always like their service and drinks. Recently we tried the Dubai Chocolate cookie and although it is 7 $ it is really not worth it very dry and tastes mediocre.
Excellent coffee and service
Food and drinks were great. Lost a star because of the constant beeping - they need a new system to let customers know when their food is ready
This place has a lot of work to do for the prices they have. Cold ambiance, no privacy at the tables. The food is served in chipped plates and dirty cutlery. Chipped and cracked tables looks like they collected them from the dump. Cold cement seats. And the food is not what they claim to be.
Such a nice cafe! Love their drinks - I always get them half sweet.
Great food, friendly staff, tasty drinks!
Tires their latte and hazelnut twist. Both were great! Would come back again when Im in the area. Lots of space inside the store but feel they could add more seating.
I like this place. Lots of room to hang out and good coffee. I didn t see a flat white on the menu which is a must, but maybe I just missed it :)
Instead of saying no bikes allowed You should actually cater for a place and encourage bikes to be able to be safely parked table side at at least a small area of the coffee shop Especially with your location being next to a very popular bike trail Thanks
Nice coffee shop. They got a big place. Would like to see more tables & chairs.
Absolutely horrid, will never be going back, would never recommend this place to anyone ever. All the food is premade and so you can t modify anything, so I don t understand why it still took 20minutes for our premade food to come out seemingly microwaved. The bimibap wrap was soggy and gross tasting, they put extra bacon on a sandwich where we asked for no bacon, and NONE of the food looks like the pictures online. It s a nasty underwhelming experience. Then they made us the wrong drink, and CHARGED US to make it correctly .AND THEN STILL MADE IT WRONG (wrong milk) so we couldn t even drink it. Our bill was about $70 and it was easily the biggest waste of money I ve ever spent. Don t go here it s a massive rip off and you ll probably get super sick because there will be something you re allergic to in your drink or food. On top of all of this, even though the bathrooms are individual use, they re all gendered .just to rub it in your face that they re a non-inclusive establishment. At least they re consistent with doing things super gross and wrong. I would give this place negative stars if I could. The only redeeming factor is it s pretty .thats literally it. Dietary restrictions: They did not make my corrected drink with soy milk .so frustrating.
C Market Coffee is a gem in Port Coquitlam! The coffee is consistently excellent, with rich flavors. The cozy, modern atmosphere makes it perfect for a quick coffee break or a relaxed afternoon. Highly recommend!
Very bright and nicely decorated place. Good selection and blends of coffee. Good quality and tasty selection of cakes. Very friendly customer service.
Drinks and bakery are disappointing
We had an all day training group in this location today. We rented the back room and also preordered food and coffees. The best part of the entire experience was the kindness of staff. They were very sweet and accommodating and even when busy, remained friendly and calm. They checked in with us to confirm items, and were very polite in all interactions. The croissants (all different types) were truly outstanding. The desserts look amazing although I didnt have any, I wish I did! The croissants come in quite a few different types and were so fresh and flaky and tasty. The wraps are pre-done so if you have allergies this could be an issue. I didnt try any of the wraps ordered, but the menu sounded ambitious and interesting. It definitely had a Korean influence on it, mixed with coffee shop vibes. I didnt try the coffee or tea, but Ive heard its quite good. They roast all their beans on site and its pretty cool to see the big roaster in the back of the restaurant with a bar type seating arrangement around it. I can imagine kids love to see it in action! I would however, offer a carafe of coffee on order as well as a carafe of hot water with a selection of teas.. They did a great job with what they had and I suppose its a new location and so they arent exactly set up for catering type situations yet. The room we rented was large, bright and clean ( a little cluttered due to storage and because they use it for their coffee classes) but the amenities were fantastic. Extension cords, white board and markers, lots of seating, a HUGE tv and HDMI, etc. The alarm system panel was right outside the door however and everytime the door opened in the business (any door) it loudly said back door open (front door open) etc. In the Telus panel voice. I know Telus has a volume option, so it would have been helpful to have that turned down but I understand if they need it on for safety purposes too. Especially because the back door is tucked away from the front where the workers are, so its probably safer to hear the alert since they cant see the door. Ive heard they also do specialty tea classes but I dont know too much about it- just that its offered. The parking is awesome there is tons and tons of regular parking all around the front, back, and side...it seems there are infinite spots available. Regular spots, person with disabilities spot, electric vehicles charging etc. Id also keep hand sanitizer available for guests, especially for the training room. We had 25 people in there and since theres only 1 bathroom (toilet and sink) for ladies, it was tough to keep hands clean. A large garbage can in room would be helpful too. The atmosphere in the dining are was good. Its almost brutalist style architecture so stools and tables made from concrete etc. Seperate coffee and creamo station and wifi tent cards on the table. I didnt like the bus cart right next to sitting area because its for dirty dishes and often has dirty dishes stacked in it and dirty bus pans. The windows are huge and therefore its very bright. Tall ceilings, industrial style, and the dining area is great place to do some work or kick back end read a book! The back room is also a great place to train and rent out! Overall it was the staff that made the day...thank you and great job!
Very polite and friendly staff. Clean shop and best part was the tea they gave . Just awesome. Cute place to chill with friend family or alone
Eating healthy and plant based can be challenging when eating out. The Green Bliss bowl with tofu was a regular go to. The change to a falafel is very disappointing. Will have to find another option.
I like the coffee, coffee is good. Food is good. Services is good. The place is bright and very open, high ceilings feels really nice. All this I love, but I will refraing to coming to this place just because the constan beeping of devices to let you know your coffee/food is ready. When they are busy, that constant beep-beep-beep/beep-beep-beep drives me insane. That stresses me out. I go to coffee shops to relax, I love the white noise of the coffee makers, people talking, the coffee grinders... But I cant stand the constant beeping. Hope management can do something about this annoying sound.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Very friendly staff and nice vibe!!!!!! Perfect for hang out:)
I can attest this is the best flat white Ive had outside of Australia. High quality coffee all around, friendly staff and nice vegan options.
Poor costumer service
Fire playlist
The barista is so kind and skillful. He seems to have a lot of knowledge about coffee. His name is Lee. Maybe he is Korean. He has a great impression and his latte making skills are great. Thank you.
Beautiful and spacious coffee shop. Great deal in the morning from 8-10. Havent try the lunch or afternoon deal. Staff are knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Space is clean and tidy. Lots of coffee and coffee related items for sale.
Everything was spectacular. Love the space and location. Food and beverage was on point! Love the food
A cafe with a beautiful open and well lit space. They have a large selection of lattes (caffeinated and non-caffeinated). I came here with my friends and was only disappointed that I was the only one that got a latte that wasn t pretty (pictured - I did NOT stir it!). Luckily theirs were pretty but I wish mine was too since I did tip.
All orders take a very long time to prepare, this is not the first time I come here because I live nearby, but when I go somewhere, I d rather get coffee at Tim Hortons because it s faster there
Good coffee, decent patisserie, but for some reason they do their take away cake in a plasticised card and plastic packaging making them difficult to recycle and non compostable. So easy to do better
Don t get me wrong, I love C Market for their coffee. I go out of my way to get their iced tiramisu lattes. Some of their baked goodies are nice. Service is often good. But their food leaves a lot to be desired. I ve ordered other foods here before and never really been terribly impressed- I do like their chashu bowl, but I really didn t like the smoked salmon bowl because it just tasted like really bad, old fish. Also didn t like the breakfast wrap as it had basically no seasoning. Felt brave though today and decided to try their food again and got the avocado toast with egg, and for $13 plus tax, I expect WAY better. The bread is VERY thick and you get almost no sauce/mayo- mine looked like they barely drizzled the bread. As a result, the whole thing feels very dry. Also no salt or pepper? Would be nice to have some flavour besides arugula and egg. Also, they need to serve this dish on a bigger plate. Its a little tall and has a bunch of arugula, and as a result when trying to cut or bite into it, the arugula or other toppings will fall off and often onto the table because the plate is just so small. Which is not pleasant, considering almost every time I come in, the tables are dirty and I have to wipe them down myself (with no spray). Also I don t recommend ordering delivery from here either sadly. Their food never holds up in their containers and ends up cold and soggy every time I have tried. In short: coffee good, food subpar
Nice coffee hangout spot. Can feel a bit dead with the line of laptops along the edge of the store.
Lovely place, delicious coffee and pastries.
Coffee is always sooooo good at C Market. -Food was meh. I had a shrimp burger ($15). -Cement stool was interesting. Food : 2/5
I came here after seeing good reviews and expected to go home with a bag of beans as i love to support a local roastery. Unfortunately my experience was diminished mostly by the poor atmosphere. My ideal cafe is warm and inviting, a place youd want to hang out, and enjoy an experience. This cafe has concrete brutalist interior design, which is appalling given the seating there is some notion of a sit down aspect to this cafe. Along with that, the idea of using beepers for orders sure makes sense from a business perspective of efficiency and throughput as opposed to table service, in practicality it serves to make the atmosphere like a McDonalds with all the constant beeping. My cortado was a bit sour, hopefully the result of underextraction as opposed to bad milk. Nevertheless that put me off buying a bag of beans. My sandwich was good. The wait time for getting my drink was not a big deal but i would have preferred to wait and get my drink with my food, rather than wait 10 mins for my drink then another 6 for my food.
Great coffee, delicious food, good music, lovely spacious atmosphere. Recommended!
I had been wanting to try this place for a while, but was very disappointed to find out they Will Not Take Cash & I had to cancel my order. Bad idea!!! 1)You are discriminating against part of the population. 2)You will lose sales when the point of sale machine is down or interac/credit cards are down on the banking side. What if the machines are down & you need gas, food or to reload a Compass card to get home? We need to carry cash. 3)Giving customers change does not take any longer. There is no big convenience. 4)Losing cash for digital currency not only means every cent will be traced & taxed, goodbye earning a few extra bucks on the side to cover unexpected car repairs or your kids guitar lessons, but you will no longer control where you spend your money, when you spend your money or how much of your money you want to spend. Extra service fees could be placed on certain businesses they dont want people to use; that could be one of your suppliers. You could be restricted from sending money to a friend or relative in need due to their social credit score or other reasons. Access to your own hard earned money could be cutoff at anytime for any reason; insuring maximum control & compliance (ex: a tax dispute, low social credit score tracked by where your money is being spent or where its coming from, non-compliance to some dei guidelines or esg scores or any other random mandates you have not complied with). Lose cash & you lose control of your life. Please reconsider your position.
I went to C market twice this past weekend. The first time I tried to go with my sister and was very disappointed to see every table full, not with active customers but people who were using the tables with laptops out (I counted 8) and had empty cups in front of them. There was also a very large group taking up three tables with four drinks amongst 12 people. We had to leave as we were planning on having lunch so the restaurant lost out on $50+ dollars from us alone. I saw many other people hoping to get a table and 4 more left with us. I understand managing things like this is difficult and one always hopes for decency of patrons but when it is so busy and people are obviously camping out I would hope something could be done. The second time was on Sunday where I purchased a too good to go bag. In the bag was an un-grilled cheese sandwich, cream puff and macaroon. This is where the HUGE disappointment comes in. Once I got home, I toasted the sandwich. My husband and I shared it and once bit into it discovered a mouthful of mold. We both spat it out immediately. The cream puff was also inedible as it was stale on the outside. Like it had been sitting in the fridge for 4 days and got soggy and stale. We didn t take a chance on the macaroon and threw it away. This is my first really bad experience with Too Good To Go. These items should definitely have been thrown away and never sold to the public.
This place has good potential. But execution is lacking. TL;DR - would return for coffee, but not the food. Coffee: pour over was quite good. Their Ethiopian is medium roast instead of light imho. The cup had good clarity, low acidity, and some nice citrus notes. The tiramisu latte was fine, but overhyped. Its a latte-mocha hybrid. Sweets: decent. The blueberry tart had good textures. Savories: I expect any cafe that has an extensive food menu to be confident in their execution of the menu. We had a mentaiko avocado rice, and a breakfast wrap. Both were in desperate need of seasoning, and the texture was just mushy. The rice was overcooked and stale, and wouldve been much better served with actual sushi rice seasonings. The breakfast wrap barely had any bacon, and was less satisfying than Tim Hortons breakfast wrap.
Great atmosphere.
The food and beverage was ok. Not bad but not great either. I love the creative use of space though. For that, I will be back.
I can appreciate making seats uncomfortable to discourage laptop lugging-overstayers but its totally uncomfortable even for us that want to stay and chat for a bit not to mention the hard surfaces that dont absorb noise. The close proximity of tables makes it even more uncomfortable as I tried not to listen to the next tables personal or business conversations. Gave it a second chance but would be hard pressed to return. Parking: Little known secret - theres more parking in a back lot but that was fairly full too.
I dont want to leave any bad reviews on google but the pasta I ate here today was so bad The coffee was so delicious... As for the mushroom pasta, just like in the video, the noodles were all soaked and the sauce was hardened. It made me wonder if it was fresh food. It came out bent and bent like in the picture. I didnt expect good quality food from a cafe, so I just ate it and left without any complaints... I think I should go here just for coffee..
Bright and airy space, great service, delicious coffee
Great space and awesome coffee.
Great cappuccino but definitely a pricier place. Very nice atmosphere.
It s a great space. Not cheap, not super expensive. It s nice inside, the seating is no very comfortable but doesn t stop me from going.
Aesthetic cafe. Food is mediocre and drinks are also so-so. Mainly the seats are really uncomfortable with no backrest and often a weird height. Some tables are broken where the top tips everytime you put a bit of weight on it. Also they are often roasting coffee beans and the smell of burning is very strong and stings the nose. Not the nicest environment to sit and study or chat in
Store felt cold and uninviting. Coffee was good, but cold, and the girl who helped us barely spoke English and so was not at all helpful in terms of explaining anything or making recommendations. Heard nothing but good things from people about this place, but $8 for a coffee and a frustrating experience and a dirty bussing areas will not have me going back.
I hate to leave a bad review but they REALLY need to do something about the seating. The seats are SO terribly uncomfortable, there is not even one proper chair with a back. My delicious coffee ended up costing close to $100 when you include the visit to the chiropractor afterwards
Pastries are hit-or-miss, but the iced lattes are great! A little pricey, but matches the bougie look of the place
Nice place to get a refresh!
Strange layout of the cafe, not super inviting both decor and staff. Pastries were below average, and coffee didn t live up the hype.
Great coffee options and bowls of food.
Trendy, but $40 for two drip coffees and one slice avacado toasts? Maybe thats how it is when housing is $1.3M... but to ask for a 20-25% tip for cafeteria service? When does this just all end?
This place is consistently delicious! Love the amount of seating as well
We came here on Saturday afternoon for a snack. The parking lot was full and there was very limited parking spaces. The cafe itself is very bright, airy and beautiful. There were lots of people already inside working with their laptop so space could be limited. We ordered takeout so it was fine. Our order was ube cake and large iced Americano. I wanted to try their ube cake because it wasnt something you can find elsewhere. The texture was light and full of air so it feels like youre eating air. The flavour was okay, not the best in town. Coffee was good. Parking: Theres free parking spots in front of the store but very limited and shared with other stores. It can be hard to find a spot on the weekend.
Awesome place to work. A bit too loud sometimes, but still really good.
Such a nice experience getting coffee here. Its spacious and thought out. Last time I went there I got a marshmallow latte and it was so fun. Served with graham crackers and toasted marshmallow on the rim. The coffee actually packs a good punch of caffeine and isnt burnt tasting. I also got a green tea cream puff. They offer coffee making courses that look interesting. They have a well thought out menu. Its not fast moving as its more for a sit down from my experience. Its also a little more expensive than some coffee shops as 2 pastries and 2 coffees plus a reasonable tip cost just under $30. There is parking but its fairly limited in this complex. If you enjoy good coffee its a nice stop in my opinion.
My favourite place to get coffee. Their staff is also so kind and friendly. The staff tends to remember regulars and are wonderful.
There are outlets here, large space and busy on weekends. Good selection of both pastry, baked items, cakes and savory foods! Lots of window natural light FYI The baked goods generally gone by 3pm on weekends!! Parking is right outside. Free. There are dedicated accessible and electric parking (charging) spots right outside. CON: 50/50 tables are wonky, bathrooms may not have toilet paper, concrete seats are not movable and limited leanable seating (all window) Vegetarian options: A few vegan options in the baked items Parking: Right outside, electric, accessible dedicated spots too. Free parking Kid-friendliness: There are kids here and strollers are easily fit. Bathroom has a changing station Wheelchair accessibility: It s one floor (no stairs) and there are double doors. Doors are not electric or auto though. Bathroom are all accessible with wider doors and bigger bathrooms. there are some tables that do not have concrete seats next to them so they can fit a stroller or wheelchair (or two).
Tiramisu Latte was excellent!!
I used to go to the original store. It was my first time to come this branch. The interior of the cafe is beautiful and spacious. I still prefer to go to the first branch.
Food and coffee are always good service can be hit and miss. Ambiance is sometimes lacking and it feels cold with all of the concrete. Need more comfortable chairs and more pillows cushions (and more color - maybe live plants?)
Great place to have a cup of coffee and tasty pastries! I went here with my family and ordered a lot of food because they all looked so good. The drinks we got were the tiramisu latte and the cappuccino. Both are very well made, and I would highly recommend the tiramisu latte if you like a more sweet drink. For the food, we got the cheese bacon scone, bacon potato Danish, blueberry tart, ham cheese bechemal pastry, lemon loaf and the cinnamon crumble Danish. All the Danishes and parties had a very good buttery flavour. I had to asked them to get it toasted, I would definitely recommend asking the workers to toast it. In addition, the vibes are very chill and natural. I really like the environment and the service. Overall, I had a very good experience here because the food was amazing and drinks were on point. I will definitely come back here to try their other menu items!
Good but.. the bells are too noisy
Coffee is excellent, consistently good baristas when it comes to specialty drinks
They don t accept cash. I don t accept that. Cash should always always be accepted. Get bent.
Im glad I found this place, recommended to me and I really like how its spacious and how chill it is. I now have a new hang out in poco. Did I mention the coffee is great too!!!.next time Ill definitely try their desserts. My new fav
Great drinks etc but got locked in the wheelchair washroom because theres no push-to-open device. Had to go to the parking lot of pee. Was mega difficult to get out and back in as well. If I had a prolonged seizure in the washroom I would have died for sure!! The hydraulic door closer slammed the door on my legs and almost shattered the glass all over me. Could potentially go blind or worse!! GET SOME DOOR OPENERS THROUGHOUT YOUR CAFE, SOMEONES GOING TO PISS THEIR PANTS AND GET INJURED IN YOUR PREMISES!! That lack of door opener stings but aside from that its a pretty groovy, humongous cafe with incredibly inventive and unique beverage options. Kudos to that, but there needs to be better accessibility for your patrons with mobility challenges! Parking: Great amount of parking, including wheelchair accessible stalls
Great coffee and desserts, dirty tables due to way too crowded on Sat (2pm). Bought candles. Freshly roasted single origin beans, coffee accessories and others are available for purchase. Beans $21-26 340g.
seating comfortable if you like sitting on cement slabs with no backrest, drinks and food very much on the snobby pretentious side, along with most of the patrons...altogether, a lousy place to sit and work
Really great space and the coffee was excellent.
My second time and the same bad experience with service. People just forget about my orders. First time almost 30 minutes today 20!! Also workers newer answer my question and I think they just don t understand English. Overall food quality is good!
This coffee shop looks really good. However, personally, this coffee shop is the most inconvenient and uncomfortable coffee shop in Vancouver in terms of seats and tables. So I recommend people to visit at least once but dont recommend this place to people who want to stay inside for a long time. The height of seats, Materials of seats are horrible to enjoy inside. The sandwich was good though.
Coffee is always satisfying!
Cheesecake is not delicious but the price is expensive, Red Velvet is okay. The sitting space has good natural light, but many seats do not have backrests, so sitting for a long time will make you tired.
Decent coffee shop, tall roofs decent coffee.
Very spacious & modern-style cafe in Coquitlam. Decent coffee & cake selections - their Red Velvet & cheesecake are the most popular cakes, but priced at around $8 per cake.
A very shiny, airy and big space with many free parking lot around. They have many pastries with nice decoration. We ordered red velvet and cheese cake, pour over and oat latte. The red velvet were ok but the cheese cake was not as expectation as it was too sweet and hard. And even made with light roasted beans, the pour over had no aroma and not so good flavour. Power plug is everywhere so it s also a place to work with your laptop.
Great place to get food and coffee. They really need to clean that long concrete table in there though. Its got filth-gump on it thick enough to scrape off with your fingernails.
Had a cafe latte and avocado toast. Really tasty.
Always packed, most things are always sold out. They get your order wrong a lot and service is super slow. To be fair, I dont think this place has enough employees for the volume of people, so service feels below standard.
Beautiful cafe with very high ceilings. The coffee was so-so. I asked for the bestseller and got recommended the red velvet and cheesecake. The red velvet was okay, but the cheesecake didnt live up to expectations. The bakery prices were shockingly high. I was doing some work in Port Coquitlam and decided to visit this cafe, and I was a bit surprised to find the prices much higher compared to Vancouver.
Just got a medium dark coffee but it was very bitter, acidic and tasted..old. I ended up dumping it out. Felt obligated to tip but they just put coffee in a paper cup and handed it to me. They dont take cash which was a little annoying. Dont think Ill go back.
Got a Vancouver fog, latte and tiramisu latte. The tiramisu latte was delicious!
It is a good spot to go have coffee if it isnt too busy ie. a weekend. The high ceiling gives it a unique feel and there is a lot of parking available which is always a good thing.
Good coffee and environment, would love more GF options!
The space here is great- its nice and spacious with a nice high ceiling and lots of different seating. Each area was very welcoming, although the seats we chose werent my favourite comfort wise, it was still a nice spot to sit. We ordered the popping hot chocolate as part of the hot chocolate festival. It was a fun drink and the presentation was really great. It wasnt my favourite flavour, but thats more my personal preference. They have a lot of fun and tasty looking drinks to try, various merchandise to buy and lots of yummy looking pastries.
Lovely spot! We got to enjoy some fantastic live music with our coffee and treats. Lots of seating, and a really nice open atmosphere.
This evening I came with my 4 friends ready to enjoy a live music evening. Unfortunately the service and mostly the food was very bad, first they missed my order second the bowl came without rice and my friend salad had no chicken at all....we were like 10-15 people sitting an nobody at the counter... still we wait for 45 min on a bad delayed order that eventually was impossible to eat. I have joined the opening of this place and was so much different full of love great food nice portions. What I found tonight...is unbelievable... I never come back and definitely not recommended.
Excellent
Coffe was good, red velvet delicious as well as macroon! The space is nice designed. What i didnt get was the logic of shots in coffee. I wanted small capp to stay, with double shot. I was told that is single but if i want small capp with double needs to be in to go cup - i just didnt want make waste. Would medium size solve it? It seems i was making more troubles and confusion, so i let it be.
A beautiful café! Weve been to the other location on Schoolhouse and this location is spacious. Great food and drinks as always. I really enjoyed my croissant sandwich.
Ambiance is great. Love the light in here. The coffee is good (albeit mine was quite bitter) but the disappointment today was the avocado toast which is hard to disappoint. It came on a slab of cold bread. Not toast! The cooking method is in the name, no? Will we be back.., yes. But won t order that again. And why does each individual piece of cake come wrapped in plastic? I think there are better alternatives
Things I liked: - my chai latte was really yummy - the decor and selection of pastries is nice - nice service Could be improved: - bathroom lock broken - food items are really pricy - most of the seats are concrete it looks nice but they aren t comfortable
The drinks, the food, the service, and the space are just so good! This is a great please to meet up with a friend, study, and work. I highly recommend the Tiramisu Latte and the breakfast wrap with salsa (which I already started to enjoy today lol). The Tiramisu Latte isn t too bitter or sweet I tend to prefer sweet coffee drinks, but this one is just right.
An interesting space. They serve coffee, pastries, some beer, meals and a variety of items. You can get dinner or just grab a coffee. The food is good and their desserts are good too. Their ube (purple yam cake) is delicious. The seating is strangely awkward and even possibly uncomfortable, and it seems like there s a lot of wasted space. The music we went last time was really weird and a bit loud. I prefer their original location.
Nice place for hangout, me time, family time, or just do homework or get a coffee to go. Nice decoration. Look so fresh and not bore at all. Have a plenty finger food and main too. Have their own roaster machine, so they roast their own coffee bean. Also they have a coffee class . Come and have a tour by yourself.
Bad service and bad workers
Amazing place
Unique food and quality food. Hard to find a seat here!
A bright cafe space for hanging out! I enjoyed a small pot of rose and hibiscus tea paired with a coconut lime loaf which was abundant with shredded coconut inside! I love the sweet/tartness of the icing on top (it might have been coconut lemon but I forgot now ) The interior has a variety of seating options, some large communal tables with concrete stools around it, and some smaller tables with basket weave chairs and benches along the windows and some smaller round tables in the sunlit central areas i think it would be a nice place to sit and read while having a light meal or spend some time catching up with friends!
This is a really nice cafe. And very friendly staff. The tea I had was delicious and presented nicely. The live music on Thursday is very pleasant. Only thing is the seating. Next time Ill bring a pillow. But will definitely come back.
Had an amazing opportunity to take the barista class at C Market coffee and it was a phenomenal experience. Being a coffee enthusiast the class was perfectly designed to fulfill my curiosity. From pulling the perfect espresso shot to grinding and dosing; Jun the instructor was super knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. The class was all hands on so lots of practice. Outside of this class the coffee here is high quality and I buy it for V60 pour overs. Enjoy!
Bright and airy; even when busy the noise level is not too bad due to the huge space.
Great coffee and food!
I went to this location for late lunch and a cup of coffee after having a positive experience with Couquitlam location. I ordered bulgogi cream pasta and chashu Don and two drinks. Upon receiving food, presentations were good and I took the first bite of bulgogi cream pasta. It was way too salty that I could feel the tingliness on my tongue. And I dont have sensitive palate. So I thought it was because its cream pasta so they made the meat salty. When I tried the cream sauce on its own, It was over-seasoned as well. So I asked the server if they could add some Unseasoned sauce to blend the saltiness. I didn t ask them for a refund or to remake, but even with the fix it was still too salty. Their chashu Don also looks really pretty but half of its content were arugula. Felt like eating a salad. Overall, I was very disappointed and their seats were somewhat uncomfortable to sit for longer period of time. Service was okay, at least they tried to fix the problem. Now I m on my way to buy a jug of water. Personally from now on, I would only go there for coffee.
Very spacious with a cool interior design. Love its vibe and its delicious desserts. I ordered hot chocolate and it comes with a fancy top. The server is nice and polite too.
Horrible system. I just waited for my bell ringing after ordering my coffee. After seeing other customers got their orders, I had to ask the cashier about my order and they said my order is missed. How did it happen?? I totally wasted 20mins sitting there. Daquase is way over priced. Not worth it. Coffee doesnt taste different than Tirm Hortons. Wont go back.
C Market made it to my top 3 coffee spots. I loved everything about it, no down sides at all (maybe the distance for me since I m in Van but not even this place is worth the drive). I love the concept, the support to local artists/businesses. This is how a coffee shop should ALWAYS be like!
I enjoyed Vancouver fog and raspberry lemon tea. The cheesecake wasnt bad either. It wasnt a busy time on Sunday afternoon, but the table was dirty and sticky, so I requested to clean it up, but no one helped.
Was in the area and decided to stop in for a cappuccino. Coffee was decent! I found the space to be a bit on the cold side, with all the concrete stools which were highly uncomfortable. Not somewhere I would recommend to spend a lengthy amount of time. The service was also a bit lackluster. Too many misses for me to recommend to go out of your way to experience.
Coffee was a bit off today- bit over roasted and bitter but the food was okay
Always great!
Very nice. My wife and I went and the coffee is very lovely...along with the lemon cake. Amazing
High quality coffee and a stunning view on Golden Ears white caps!)
Amazing tiramisu latte!BUT horrible pastry! Pricey for the quality Parking: Easy parking access
Beautiful, spacious, bright room. In it Im having some of the worst food Ive had in a long time : a bibimbab wrap. From the soggy wrapper to the blend, overwhelmingly rice filling.. I dont know what to say its just very bad.
This is my favourite coffee shop! The drinks, food and service is absolutely amazing. Recently I ve discovered they have these seat cushions, as without after a period of time tends to hurt, and it has made my visits so much better!
Very nice place with fresh coffee and beverages, pastries, and very awesome atmosphere. This area really needed such a nice coffee shop!
Great coffee shop. Friendly staff. Great food and deserts and nice that they have alcohol license as well. Will definitely come back here. Nice place to work or chat. Large space so there is no echo and can work peacefully and can have private convo. Thank you for having an independent washroom for only women as well. I m for women s rights.
Great place to work from! beautiful space, friendly and quick staff and a good variety of pastries and food options. sometimes hosts different vendor tables or hosts classes on roasting your own coffee and other skills of their craft.
The staff is professional, and the latte is testy
Their bowls are really good. Good portion, tastes good. Also love their coffee with salt (cant remember the name)
Such an open and breathable place to relax, have some coffee and desserts along with a great ambience. Coffee was good and enjoyed cream puff and chocolate cake with it. Cream puff was done so well with the perfect amount of sweetness / not overly sweet. Such a cool and open place to hang out and chill..
No cash accepted , no business
Great coffee
Food, service and atmosphere are well done! I love how calming and relaxing the whole Cafe is. Only issue I have is the seating. Concrete slabs are not very comfortable.
Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I m just going with 2 starts because of the coffee which was decent. However, the food was downright terrible. I ordered the Truffle Oil Creamy Mushroom Pasta, which was disappointingly undercooked, tasteless and had a watery sauce. It was far from enjoyable. My friend ordered the Green Aria sandwich, which was not only inedible due to its unpleasant smell, but also left her feeling sick after just a few bites. Despite our concerns, when we brought it up with the cashier, they dismissed our feedback, claiming that no one else had complained. Overall, our experience at C Market Coffee was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it.
I wish I took more photos but had to meet a friend for a work project. Great place to study or hangout. It s really clean, spacious, I had the smoked salmon croissant and tiramisu (hot) beverage! So delicious! I also ordered 4 macarons to bring home and the fam (kids & hubby loved it! The staff was really friendly as well! I ll be back! :)
The space is spacious, but it felt like there werent many places to sit comfortably. The service and drinks were okay, and the store was clean.
Nice drinks, sick interior design!
: kudos to their donuts (have tried the Crème Brûlée and Brunch Munch only) for the consistency all the time. new rice bowl (Avocado Mentaiko) is a nice option for small eater, only wish it could have come with some kimchi to balance out the creamy part. : coffee aficionados may want to look elsewhere for their caffeine fix, it s been ups and downs for me (only have tried their Latte and Americano). but they have a huge menu on other drinks. still, pretty solid place for quick hang out in PoCo area.
Favourite cafe. Awesome staff, food and atmosphere
I know they named it C market, but I would call it A+ market, because its good. But I guess cs get degrees, so maybe they are just subverting the competive education norms of contemporary education? Also, its not a market, more of nice Cafe, so I guess I just dont get the name at all. Still, my favorite coffee place in PoCo, but now I wonder if they read Freire.
C Market Poco is the perfect spot for catching up with friends and for doing remote work. Wifi is fast enough to work. Theres plenty of plugs along the seating for laptops. Inside could be a bit loud for conference calls though. The coffee is great and roasted fairly often. The baked goods are also made fresh daily! Definitely one of my favorite cafes to go to.
A very nice place for friends to gather and chat, have coffee, light meals, and desserts
Great place, very nice delicious food options. A+ croissant is the best!
I think Really fancy coffee shop and pricey all of items. Modernized interior was impressed but service wasn t good enough. I recommend you to visit here but being regular customer.
The setting boasts a first-class environment with its high ceiling that adds an element of chic industrial aesthetics. During my visit, I embarked on a gastronomic journey by trying their distinctive offerings: the cotton candy latte, an impeccably rated croissant earning an A+, and the intriguing tiramisu latte. Among these choices, the tiramisu latte undoubtedly claimed the spotlight with its impeccable quality. The texture was remarkably velvety, and the flavor of coffee was pronounced, creating a harmonious blend that left a lasting impression.
Likely the best coffee Ive had in years. I take coffee seriously and normally make my own however late this afternoon I needed a coffee. I wasnt going to a chain place and found CMC on the map. Great coffee! I had a small americano. Not sure I could make it better at home. Friendly lady serving. They have a roasting set up here and seem to know what theyre doing. I will come back.
Perfect place to unwind, enjoy artful coffee, and cherish tranquil moments. Highly recommended for all coffee enthusiasts.
Really good coffee in a spacious and bright location! I come here often and I find that it can get crowded at times. I wish there were more tables and seating available. I also recommend the ube cake - its not too sweet.
Everything is great except the chairs
Friendly place with great coffee. However I have three issues. Firstly, the cup was only 3/4 full of coffee, which seemed a bit skimpy. Secondly, they do not accept cash, which is a big deal for me. I generally pay for everything in cash. Finally, I wasnt that keen on the open plan: its just one big room where everyone is looking at everyone else, so no cosy corners or any real privacy at all. It just feels a little intimidating when every other customer can see everything you do.
Good service and coffee
food so good
Americano is average. The staff are very friendly. I ate a pound of lemon... but it was very crumbly. The ceiling is wide and the interior is pretty and bright, but the seats are chairs without backrests, so they are uncomfortable and a bit ambiguous. It s a cafe with a Korean feel.
The best coffee hands down... Pour over hit the spot along with the bulgogi creamy pasta, smoked salmon bowl and the coconut lime loaf...
This is a great coffee spot, a nice environment for homework or a catch up with great coffee and food options!
Its so aesthetically pleasing here. The baked goods were hard to choose from, everything looked delicious.
I just wanted a quick coffee but this place was completely packed. I guess management doesn t implement a time limit on people hanging out/studying as most guests had empty cups and plates in front of them with their laptops open. Unfortunately had to leave before buying anything as there was no where to sit.
Ambiance: Cafeteria style. Big and very open so sounds really carry and echo. Youve also got little devices that beep when the food is ready, and when there is alot of people, they beep every 2 minutes and become obnoxious. The place is very white and the music is more poppy than slow relaxing music. This is not a place to come and relax, its not very cozy. Its a place to grab your coffee in an upbeat, fast fashion and go. It feels like a quieter coquitlam center food court. Food: The mushroom pasta is barely edible. The sauce taste like thick water with a hint of mushroom. No flavor at all. The bulgogi bowl was good, I liked it alot. The desserts also look very good but I havent had any. They also did not have brewed coffee... What? I got an americano instead and it wasnt good. Service: Service is good, they messed up our order but promptly fixed it so that was appreciated. Tables are not maintained, most of the free ones were dirty. The location is convenient but its not enough to make me come back.
Not much flexible seating. Many of the seats you cannot move, are uncomfortable low stools, or a solid bench. Nice space but real Echoey. Vegan dessert is dry. But ube cake was nice and moist. Nice foam art on lattes.
Great place for coffee, I had chai latte and husband got iced mocha, both were good but I forgot to take photo :D strawberry macarons was yummy, and the Earl Grey cake was amazing, its moist, fragrant and not too sweet
The coffee and food are excellent , the chair is uncomfortable to sit on.
I live close by and often come here. I enjoy a good cup of coffee and they never disappoint.
Coffee and cake were delicious but I won t be returning because of the obnoxious beepers going off every 17 seconds. It s super annoying and distracting. I go out for coffee and/or dessert to relax and this place isn t relaxing. It feel like I m sitting in fry section of McDonalds. No thanks.
Nice coffee with good pastries the cafe is huge and has lots of seats
This cafe is beautiful - gorgeous tall ceilings, lots of light and very cool chandeliers. The coffee is fairly good (I ve had the tiramisu latte and caramel macchiato on different occasions). Unfortunately I haven t had the best luck with the food I ve ordered. I had their A+ Croissanwich, which was a disaster to eat - it just fell apart and was soggy. I ve also had their avocado toast which was also incredibly hard to eat and not satisfying. I recommend they actually toast the bread (sourdough wasn t toasted) and give you a sharper knife to cut with! Sadly, their seating is also very uncomfortable - hard benches and concrete stools. This place has so much potential to be great!
For me, it was just ok overall. Spacious cafe, parking lot outside. Food was average. I liked the earl grey cream puff as it wasnt too sweet. The other food was average.
One of the best coffee shops I have been to. Great atmosphere and design, excellent coffee, and the service was good! Would 100% recommend. The avocado toast is top tier.
First of all, never, ever try their pasta because they are BAD. I ordered the truffle creamy mushroom pasta and the mushroom was undercooked, the sauce was greasy, and it lacked flavor. I was not able to eat even half of this dish cuz it was so bad. I have tried many dishes here, such as bowls and pastries and they are great, but not the pasta. My friend ordered the spicy hotpot beef pasta. Apparently it says beef on the menu but the dish actually comes with pork belly LOL This one also sucks - the sauce was watery and tasted like bad tteokbokki sauce (basically sweet gochujang sauce). The pork belly quality was also super bad. It had some kind of weird smell and taste. Both dishes cost $19 without tax. Poorly cooked pasta, not worth the money AT ALL.
Great coffee and cool building!
