In this restaurant, you get the best freshly cooked food. You will enjoy the generous protion of your Greek Sovulakis in a neat and clean environment.
Went here for my dad's birthday. Service was excellent! Food was great - the roast lamb, chicken marsala, and moussaka were all amazing, especially the lamb! The only exception was the steak, which was over cooked and full of gristle. To make up for it, they offered us a tiramisu cake which worked out well and was tasty too. Would definitely come back for the lamb and try other items too!
Came in for an extended family dinner. Really generous portion sizes, the lamp chops were fantastic. Other than the great food, what really made this a 5 star experience was the incredible service from Mariah. She took our 12 person reservation last minute despite being solo, had such great energy the whole night, and really made it an enjoyable time for everyone. We'd come back just for her.
Overall good experience. We had regular entrees but also ordered happy hour appetizers, portions was a little small. I also found that an automatic 18% gratituity was surprising for 7 people dining. But we enjoyed the food with our dining guests and I would recommend.
If you’re in the Shaughnessy area in Poco and craving some Mediterranean magic, look no further than Dinakis Mediterranean Grill. Let me just say, the portions here are generously sized, so come prepared to feast! The tzatziki is a standout—nice and fresh, with a flavor that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance. It's the perfect companion to their delicious offerings. Speaking of which, the Souvlaki Combo is a real treat. It comes with beef, chicken, and prawn souvlaki, each one cooked to perfection. The beef is tender, the chicken is juicy, and the prawns are succulent. It's a delightful trio that hits all the right notes. We also tried the roast lamb, which was cooked to perfection. It wasn't fatty, and the meat just came off the bone. We thoroughly enjoyed it. For those dining with little ones, you'll be pleased to know they offer kids' portions. These come with one skewer instead of two at a reduced price, making it great value. It’s the perfect way to keep the kids happy without breaking the bank. Overall, Dinakis Mediterranean Grill is a great spot for hearty portions, fresh flavors, and good value. Make sure to bring your appetite—you won’t be disappointed!
This is the best Mediterranean food I've had! It's no wonder they have so many awards/accolades at the entrance way. The food is incredible: well priced, fresh and great portions. The restaurant is neat and clean, including the washrooms. It has a very cozy feel inside. Service was excellent!
Firstly, the service and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Secondly, the food quality is great, it's really great value, huge portions, and always fresh. And thirdly, great drink selection, and I was happy to hear that they can accommodate large parties as well. Whether for a cute date, family dinner, birthday celebration or quick lunch, I'd highly recommend!!!
The Greek food here was truly authentic and tasty. Souvlaki of all varieties was great. We had come back from a trek and all our tiredness was gone with the kind servers and their affordable but yummy food ❤️their portion sizes are quite large so it is filing. Loved the presentation too.
I went there for a friend's surprise birthday party. They had two large groups in on a Saturday evening so the place was packed. Obviously it is a local hot spot. Despite the full house the service was attentive. The food was plentiful, very reasonably priced and good quality. My only criticism was that their wines are all on the 'entry level' cheap and cheerful end which is fine for many. If you prefer better quality, opt for bringing your own and paying for corkage which is a pretty standard $25. I'll definitely return when I am in town.
I ordered take out tonight from Dinakis (through skip the dishes). Ordered my regular Greek dish, the chicken souvlaki. I often order from another restaurant but thought I would give Dinakis a try. Upon eating my chicken souvlaki skewer, I noticed the taste and texture of the chicken seemed off. To my surprise the chicken was raw in the middle. The restaurant was immediately called to inform them. They stated that we needed to contact skip for a refund (which is fine!) and said the chicken was raw due to how busy the restaurant was tonight. Unfortunately, I do not see this as a valid reason for serving undercooked meat. They offered to remake the meal and have me come and pick it up. Unfortunately with a baby in bed, leaving the house is not option which is why I ordered in. I ll no longer be order from Dinakis. Perhaps if the situation had been dealt with differently on their end I would. However, it s all left a bad taste in my mouth - no pun intended.
Well.....restaurant was not overly busy....invited to sit wherever ....drinks were quickly served and orders taken and had a choice to change out items of food......food was served in a timely fashion .....and was hot.....I ordered the Roast lamb with the gravy on the side not to spoil the taste of the lamd.....the lamb serving was not overly big.....could have bee a bigger portion....just saying.....but the roast potatoes, salad and the bread and tzatziki made up for the lamd......we had an awesome day there......was no rush and we sat for about 3 hours.......very highly recommended........plus ....Im sure the rest of the food must be just as good..... Parking: Parking was easy....
Food was very good, staff lovely. Overall enjoyable dinner out.
Excellent food, great service with friendly, efficient staff. Dinakis is simply fabulous. Be prepared to take home a doggie bag because the portions are huge. With lamb chops are to die for, this is by far my fave Greek restaurant.
Absolutely loved my visit! the food was incredible, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a must try for anyone craving authentic cuisine
Went to Dinakis for the 1st time for my wifes birthday. Food was great and the service was fantastic. Will be looking forward to going back again.
Ive only been a couple of times and we always get the roast lamb. Service was good although it wasnt very busy. The roast lamb is really good- its fall off the bone tender, great taste and priced really well. 22$ I believe and I could barley finish it, huge portion! Its now 28$...
Family friendly restaurant. Food is amazing.
Great with excellent service
I have been coming back since they opened Great place good portions yummy food Food
Good value with comfortable seating. The service was appropriately attentive.
We really enjoyed this restaurant, the food and service were great. We had the roast lamb dinner and the ribs and lasagna combo, which were both very generously, portioned and very flavorful. We will definitely be returning.
Food was excellent and our server was AMAZING
Perfect! We would go there again!
I love their food potions , it s easily can be shared between 2 people , their lamb roast is out of this world and amazing friendly staff to go with. I will definitely recommend this to my friends
We recently dined at Dinakis, and overall, it was a good experience with a few minor hiccups. The food was absolutely delicious! The Greek salad was a standout fresh and vibrant, with just right balance of flavours. The beef was also quite tasty; it was chewy, and the use of spices was on point, which I appreciated. However, the service could use some improvement. It seemed like the restaurant was understaffed, which led to a longer wait time for our food. While the staff was polite and did their best, the delays were noticeable. Despite the wait, the freshness and quality of the food made up for it, and I left feeling satisfied. If youre not in a hurry and are looking for a place with great food, Id recommend giving here a try. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if they re busy.
A great gem we have come to love. This family restaurant provides fantastic food and are great community pillars. They consistently win in categories each year and proudly show them at the entrance. If you havent been do go!
Love Greek food, been here before and enjoyed it. Ordered Lamb Souvlaki, toughest lamb I have ever eaten. Tasted like it had been cooked before and then microwaved to heat it up. Some pieces I couldnt even chew and had to leave on the plate. Rice and potatoes were very bland. $28.00.
If you want good quality Mediterranean food, I suggest you definitely try this restaurant
Amazing food we go there all the time
Very good food and very good service. First time weve been to Dinakis but well definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Dinakis is amazing at catering events. Sam is very helpful and they do such a great job at getting a big group order done. The food is awesome! Highly recommend!
We had another fantastic dinner at Dinakis our waitress , Lisa, was fantastic! She was super friendly and attentive We had the saganiki to start, Dinakis souvlaki and roast lamb.... everything was so good and good size options too I was so full after my meal, but just could not resist taking home a tiramisu cheese cake
Dinakis has been one of our favourite Mediterranean restaurant. The Lamb Chops and Calamari is amazing well seasoned and large portions amazing service.
The best Greek food in the Tri-cities!!!!! The staff are very easy going and knowledgeable in the menu items. Kinda pricey, but the food is worth it
Best healthy restaurant in area.
Calamari and saganaki sucked. First time and fir sure last
Spinach pie tasted like mold. Overall food didn t taste fresh.
I always have a good experience when I come here, which is often. The food, drinks, and service are always wonderful! :)
Not impressed. I waited an hour for my order to be delivered through Skip an it was Pita bread and dip, the bread was cold and not even cut. Not even sure what i was waited an hour for
Calamari Salad was tasty, but I wouldnt consider it a salad. More like Calamari with a small side salad.
Just ordered the baked lasagna. It was so dry and tasteless. There is spinach in it which was unusual but the real problem was not enough sauce or cheese. Also half the amount of baked lasagna you would normally get. Would not order again. Disappointed I spend $45
Great place for families. Variety of different types of food got the chicken souvlaki meal just delicious. Definitely recommend:)
Roasted Lamb is my most favorite dish, which I could enjoy in this fabulous restaurant. Reasonable price & impressive services. Food
Great food amazing service went there for fathers day and they were running around like crazy with take out orders and 2 x10 tops and they were still happy and attentive! Amazing girls give your staff a raise !
Ordered for PU. Food was low quality and not cheap.
Had lunch great food and service. Calamari is excellent
Ive been here a few times now. Different servers. Same kind of pleasant service from each.
Danakis Mediterranean grill is a must stop! food and service is excellent and children friendly Ive had the opportunity to try most of the menu items and they all taste great. Kid-friendliness: Danaki kind and friendly service and very courteous two children they have a kids coloring menu to fill the time
First and Last time.
The Moussaka was divine! The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The price was great and we had enough food for supper the next night too!!!
Great dinner, awesome desserts and a lovely place for a gathering of friends.
Food took 25+ minutes to arrive, and it was obvious the kitchen was overwhelmed with the amount of takeaway orders. Service was non-existent and the servers offered no apology on the wait, despite us having to ask for them to check on our food. They also forgot to season the Greek potatoes and drowned the entire salad in dressing. This was our second and final visit. Unfortunately the quality of food and service were not consistent. Never again!
Went with family last night. The kids & 1 adult have allergies to dairy & soy. The staff went out of there way to accommodate all of us & our dietary needs. Mariah was our waitress an absolute gem! Great personality, incredible service & the food was very tasty. We all thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely go back! Thank you to all the staff its not always easy to find places that can accommodate the dietary restrictions for family members!!
Great food but Dinakis needs to pick up the servings, way to small, especially the lamb and chicken Souvlaki, a child could eat both
Favorite place for Greek!
Wheelchair accessibility: Chairs and boxes restricting passage to wc Food
The service was great, food was delicious, and everything came very quickly which was wonderful. I would definitely recommend them if you re looking for a Mediterranean meal, they ve got a great menu and everything we have ever ordered here has been great!
This is a hidden gem. The owner Samira went above and beyond to my family and team!!! Will always come back .
Very pleasantly surprised! We had a fabulous dinner here, and will be back. Thank you!
Great food!! Friendly staff...owner often comes by to check in. Best calamari in the neighbourhood!
Done very well!! Had chicken skewers on rice with salad and pita bread. Food
Top notch service, great menu, fantastic lamb and calamari, very large portions. Arguably the best Greek spot in Tri-Cities. Will be back.
Overall a good experience! The food was good, the prawns were great, they had the right seasonings, they were cooked great; as per request. The greek salad was swimming in ranch dressing... they clearly had a saucy chef that evening! And so they lost a star. Food
Moussaka was awful, and everything else that came with the meal was very bland.
This is one of our favorite places. Great food and drinks. The staff are fantastic and always take great care of us!
mashallah samira samira wonderful managment and best service.
Food quality is excellent, huge portions and everything is fresh. The service and staff are very good. Highly recommended! Food : 5/5
Recently found this restaurant, great value , portions, food is excellent, staff is friendly , serivice is quick. Glad to find this gem in Port Coquitlam.
Delicious food + amazing customer service = Great experience!
Amazing staff.
Great service, delicious food.
Weve been to Dinakis once for take out and twice to dine in. The food is really good with generous portions - the roast lamb is to die for! Service is friendly and it is a smaller restaurant and therefore quieter. Good all around.
Okay so this is definitely one of my favourite Greek restaurants in Metro Vancouver. The food is very flavorful and authentic. Theres lots to choose from too. The atmosphere is nice and its very clean. Service is good with friendly staff.
A very large selection of foods and drinks. We tried so many different things and everything was amazing. From the steak to pasta, calamari, and Souvlaki, all taste very good. We added this place to the list of our favourite restaurants. Thanks!
Amazing lamb dinner. One of the best I have ever had. The mashed potatoes had a good lemon, garlic flavour. Would go back and even take the trip out from Burnaby. The tiramisu was huge and light.
Excellent Greek food & decent prices. We were a party of 8 & requested several different bills, & our server was great & got each bill right. Werent impressed with the auto-gratuity starting at 18% though. All in all, we had a lovely time & I would recommend this eatery.
Ordered take out from here and the food was good. I ordered the Mediterranean Platter and it had plenty of food. I would order from here again to try other menu items but the platter was spot on as it had calamari, roast lamb and spanakopita (yes, I was craving all three). If you want to give this place a try, I recommend the platter for 2 because they are generous with their portions and they offer a great mix of items. If I were being greedy, I wouldnt mind 2 dolmades in there as well.
The food was kinda bland wasn t hot ordered for pickup and ate it and got food poisoning sitting on the toilet exploding out of both 100% don t recommend
The calamari was so tender, it was like seafood butter and melted in my mouth!! Its a hard food to get right, and they got it SPOT ON!! Hubby loved the spaghetti and meatballs, so flavorful! Thank you for making us smile tonight! Will definitely add this place to our regulars!
This is the Greek restaurant that you want to go to! I was not ready for how good the food was. It was better than I expected. This is the BEST Greek food ever! I m definitely coming back here when next I m back in town. Ohhh and they re so cheap I feel like it s not even a real place! It s a fairytale!
They missed one of the order when picked up the food, thus I had to drive back to pick up the missing item. They offered a credit for a meal which they didnt honour. Food was ok but not their services. [added after the response]I confirmed that the missing item was doubled on the same day of pickup time. However, I was NOT told the item was doubled and I WAS told that I will get a credit. I noticed the doubled items in the bag once I got back home and thought Dinakis double the item AND offered extra credit. Anyway, it would been better if the communication been more clear when I picked up the missed item.
Awesome food great customer service reasonable price great atmosphere. Thank you so much, you are the best in our community. Love it
Great food each time I have been and top service . Don t understand why this restaurant isn t packed
Server was working alone and while not too busy at lunch on a Thursday was not very attentive and we had to flag her down multiple times. Lamb souvlaki was overdone, Greek salad had a milky dressing that wasn t great and the potatoes were undercooked. The lasagna ordered was huge but nothing to write home about in terms of flavour. The fettuccine was ok but again, pretty bland.
Amazing Greek food. If its your first time there, try their Roast Lamb. Huge portion and very tasty dish. Food
Best lamb meat I have ever eaten! Thank you, Sajad! Food
Great place. Friendly and cosy atmosphere. Very nice food
I ordered through uber eats and I was a bit disappointed that the beef soulvlaki i ordered was soo dry. The taste of the food was overall okay. The only thing that really gave it flavor was the teziki sauce.
Grilled Chicken Casear Salad so delicious
Loved the food!! Vegetarian options: Had lots to choose from Dietary restrictions: Helpful staff Parking: Parked right out front Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids there Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel right in
As expected, the food was tasty and good sized portions. However, the amount of food seems to be less than in the past - the meat chunks on the skewers seem much smaller, and the potatoes also seem smaller. I suppose its the same shrinkflation thats hitting everywhere else. Also, I ordered the Dinakis Souvlaki with the 3 skewers of meat for $26. But its on special for $18 on Saturday and this was a Friday night - bummer!
Delicious food and service is always good.
Yo!!!! Food was delish!!! And shout out to whichever staff played their playlist the night I went . Loved to hear mild high club, Loving, djo, and especially BOYO while eating an awesome meal!!! Will def be back
Best Mediterranean food I ever had Great price. Amazing service
I had calamari dinner it was very delicious and crispy highly recommended
Forget tzatziki once, its unfortunate. Forget it on 2 instances, and thats too many messed up dinners.
Had roast lamb this time. Portion was big enough to get full. Wish the tsaziki was more garlicy. Food was tasty. Will go back. Food
Came here with my friends and we were all very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food that we were getting. The portions, for a bit over $20 were very good and the food tasted amazing. The service was also great. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant.
Persian food. Restaurant with clean taste and friendly
Smallest steak ive ever seen, ceaser salad lettuce was rusty and bad. Not impressed at all. Terrible food
Great food!
I ve had the best late dinner at this restaurant. We ordered the calamari appetizer, chicken souvlaki (with rice, salad and potato), beef souvlaki, and prawn souvlaki and cheesecake. The portion is so generous and delicious. Like it mentioned on their website bold-tasting . They also have kids menu on a drawing page and provided crayons too!!! What really makes this place so memorable to me is how fresh (and biggg) the prawns were. The washroom was so clean. Customer service is excellent. It was quite late so not many people dined in and we got to enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
I had roasted lamb delicious.
Had family members Birthday dinner here. Food tasted great and came out reasonable fast for large table (11) with a variety of meals. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable. Food
Had dine out so 0 score for atmosphere. For 100.00 dinner its was horrible. 1) Dark brown fries hence old oil being used. Soggy. 2)Over boiled potatoes in the Slovakias. Definitely not marinated and roasted. More like boiled and heated in oven. Gross 3) Rice had 0 flavor at all. I could make more tasty rice at home. 5) Brushetta bread was 100% in the gababe. Complete waist of $. Soggy. A proper bun should be used NOT Texas toast steel bread. Only edible part of the meal were the tiny skewers. What was good was the calamari but it would have to be as its the one thing that cant be reheated safely. For $24 a Slovakia dinner... you expect a meal. This was a complete disappointment for dinner.
food was great service was awesome!
Great food. Recommended
Food is reasonably priced and delicious, friendly service, good portions. Might be a bit difficult to find parking during peak meal time hours so go a bit earlier if you go on a weekend. We ordered the platter for 2; got a bit of everything
For the most part we find Dinakis consistent. Prices are fair and servings are generous. Atmosphere is nice for a gathering and staff is welcoming and friendly. Food
Amazing food and friendly staff!
Food tastes ok. Server was nice. We enjoyed the fries.
Good food and generous portions, friendly service, and the prices are quite fair given the amount of food you get. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area.
Mediterranean platter for 2 was enough for 4! Fantastic as we have leftovers for next day. Food was great. Service and atmosphere seemed off, we found our table was consistently missed, so if we eat from here again, itll be takeout. The food has never disappointed. Parking: Enough in the complex you should be fine. Wheelchair accessibility: I would say not very, narrow and could be difficult to accommodate without prior knowledge for restaurant.
Food was so bad ! I ordered roast Rostlamb and 2/3 of my plate was all fat !!!! It was so hard to find a piece of meat .so disappointed ! Food : 1/5
First time coming here though weve driven by for years. As an anniversary dinner we thought we would finally check it out. Talk about fantastic!! Tuesday night at 7pm after a long weekend so not busy at all; maybe 5-6 tables. Not noisy, very clean, pleasant smell, and our waitress Mariah was so personable and able to spend lots of time checking in on us. The food was amazing!!! Best Greek food I think I have ever had. We were totally stuffed! We had a calamari dinner and a dinakis souvlaki. Both plates were loaded, I mean piled high, with food. I was so happy to see that nothing was greasy, nothing soggy and drowned in oil on the plate. Seasoning on the chicken and prawn souvlaki was delicious! I could literally spread their tzatziki on everything I own I bet. Lol. I also ordered a small piece of baklava for dessert...it was perfect as an ending to a great dinner. We are definitely adding this place into our rotation. Highly recommend.
Great authentic Greek food. Enjoyed lunch, price fair. Service pretty quick, great menu selection enjoyed it!
Typical white people food. it s alright Vegetarian options: Only two vegetarian options for entrées. The moussaka was not very good. Food : 4/5 |
Huge portions, great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and amazing drinks. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu Wheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible.
Souvlaki, calamari and hummus were great, recommend against moussaka or steak. Service was fine. I d come back for a lunch if in area.
Menu offers good variety of food...only item I missed was the dolmades. Food was tasty and service was prompt. A bonus is the parking, which is plentiful in that area.
I met some friends for dinner at Dinakis. The food was delicious and large portions - great value! The staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dinakis for people looking for a nice place for a delicious meal.
Amazing Beef Moussaka! The home made tiramisu is out of this world!
Absolutely terrific food, large portions, friendly staff and great pricing. Highly recommend Dinakis Mediterranean Grill
Completely rectified my issue appreciate the prompt service, thank you
My family was very impressed with our experience here! This was the first restaurant to pop up when we Googled searched, it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and non greasy at all. The portions are huge! We will definitely come back. They have a seniors lunch special from 11am-3pm for 65 and older.
The food and service are excellent. I love taking my wife here on date night.
Great service, covid ready, huge portions.
I went this evening and only relied on the ratings. It was the best decision! We had a wonderful server called Brianne..she was great. The food was delicious wirh great portions! Service was excellent. I will definitely go back and encourage others to try this restuarant out.
Very good value
This place is amazing!! Loved the food the service and the prices! Best Greek
Good Greek Food. Good size portions. 3:00 - 6:00 PM discount on appetizers. Main meal includes, Greek salad, rice, potatoes, pita bread, taziki sauce. Try the souzlaki, or kalamari.
The best high quality and FRESH Greek food in town. We had a huge event with 70 people and the restaurant handled us like family. Do go here:)
Taste wise it s fine but there are other Greek restaurants nearby that I d rather go to. Portion size for the price is not great at all. Not impressed with how pitiful the size of the chicken skewers were.
Took a customer to this restaurant, this is the only Greek restaurant that opens before 4pm. Food was a little above average, service was good. I probably will try elsewhere if other Greek restaurants open earlier. There are better ones out there
The Lamb chops were awesome. The prices are very reasonable. $125 for 4 adults to eat including a bottle of wine. The service was also exceptional and the portions were large. This will likely be a new go to for us.
Ordered the BBQ ribs for dinner Kind of disappointed Not very meaty and a quite dry Caesar salad was excellent along with the garlic mashed potatoes
Got charged 20% service charge for a family dinner with kids. There were only 6 of us. Dont mind tipping but a pre-set 20% is no-go for me. Wont be there again.
Best Greek restaurant in Port Coquitlam by far. Friendly staff, delicious food.
Sub par Greek Food at best. There are far better places in Poco if you want real authentic Greek. Potatoes were a total disappointment. Probably wont be visiting again.
Nice service great good
Excellent meal, friendly staff and good service
Great lounge with hooka, drinks and food.
Best Greek restaurant in town. Amazing service and quality. Super clean inside. Great pricing I definitely coming back Highly recommended
Id give it a 2 1/2. Service was good but the food wasnt worth the price point. Would not go back nor would I reccommend.
The roast lamb was great, and my daughter really like her chicken dish sorry I dont remember what it was called.
I have high standards when it comes to Greek food specially Roast Lamb. I have to admit this place really delivered. Nice ambiance, affordable cocktails/drinks menu, friendly staff, and high quality and delicious food with tasteful food representation.
Had limited time and stopped in for the first time. Great fast service. Food was awesome. Beer was great!
Absolute one of the best place to go to to enjoy your day...
Unfortunately it wasnt great. Calamari had an oddly off taste and the Greek salad was tiny and no taste to it at all.
Rich food
Tasty quality food and terrific customer service!
I come here all the time. The lamb is moist, and falls off the bone. The management is very approachable, if you do need anything. Their seating is ample, and can accommodate large groups. You often see parties of all sorts enjoying themselves here.
Used to be one of my fave Tri-Cities restaurants, hoping tonight was a one-off but it will be a while before I go back. 1. Had to ask for Happy Hour Menus. 2. Ordered hummus and saganaki before we got the menus so we changed the hummus to the Happy Hour size (but still were charged for full order until I pointed it out). 3. Ordered skewer chicken, skewer beef, hummus, tzatziki and calamari from HH menu - $5.99 each. Hummus was completely liquid, the thickness of half & half, poor flavor. Saganaki was small and undercooked so it was hot but no part of it was melted. The skewers were the smallest pieces of meat I have ever seen and the beef was very tough. I am surprised they got it on the skewer. Calamari was about 15 small pieces. Every dish inc each skewer came with a side of tzatziki which would have been better value if the waitress or menu had mentioned it so we could have avoided spending more money on tzatziki we didnt need. Bill came to over $50 for small hummus, small tzatziki, 2 skewers, calamari and a lot of pita bread. Not enough food for 1 person let alone 2 for $50. Sorry Dinakis, but the way to recoup losses from COVID is not to increase your prices while decreasing your serving size. That just keeps customers from coming back. It was really disappointing. I will add that I have been to Happy Hour many, many times pre-Covid so I am familiar with the portion sizes.
Excellent food and service and one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in.:)
Greet place for family gatherings and date nights amazing food and service is always great.
Ordered for pick up and i was fairly underwhelmed especially considering it was in three bags, I expected more. Small portions and a bit on the higher end for just above average food. The calamari dinner was the same size as the appetizer. The food overall was quite bland. However.... The bright spots were the roast lamb dinner and the beef souvlaki. The beef was very flavorful and my picky child actually ate it. The roast lamb looked small but was without any bone and was also very delicious. Overall 2.5 /5 and i think it would likely be better as a dine in option opposed to takeout.
If u want quantity, this the place for u. If y want quality, u will not find it here. The food tasted like it was made days ago snd warmed up. The food was was dry and bland. The wine was great. Will not return.
Lovely lunch at Dinakis -- wonderful food, excellent service, and great atmosphere. Brother-Sister dynamo team Sadat and Samira are the owners, and are always giving back to the community. Also very proud that Dinakis is a longstanding member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. Highly recommend.
Delicious!
Good food, excellent server Parking: Lots of parking outside
Great humous
It s a good place for lunch
Highly recommended.
Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu.
Delicious! The calamari was wonderful, so tender. The roasted lamb was soooo soft and fall off the bone delicious.
Amazing!
Good: top sirloin steak and mashed potatoes. Acceptable: rice and calamari. Bad: fire grilled dry ribs were completely dehydrated and had no flavour, salads somehow had no dressing and were tiny, roast lamb was tender but had little flavour, the tzatziki was runny, the pita bread was very dry, and the garlic toast was hard as a rock. We ate here once about 1.5 years ago and couldnt remember if we liked it or not and couldnt remember why we never went back. Today was our second time eating here and I think itll be our final time.
Ordered the prawn Solvaki and the spinach pastry. The most yummy dinner!!!!!! I will be ordering a lot more
Dinaki s is one of our favourite places to eat. My wife and I have been going there for years and the food is always consistently good and the portions large. Sometimes we d go to Opa for something quick, but, with the rising prices, you can get some authentic Greek food at Dinaki s for not much more than the fast food joints AND have leftovers for the next day. Great value for your money. Just don t sit near the entrance if you dislike being cold.
Roast Lamb, big portion almost for 2 people, very tender, good customer service, quiet place and a lot of parking space
Very mediocre food. Nothing that I couldnt get at a food court.
Hidden gem.
Food is delicious, big portions, and arrive before 6pm for happy hour! We had 3 drinks, 1 shared appy, and 2 large meals for $70. We are definitely going back!
Great food, friendly staff
Had an excellent lunch. Dessert portions were very large. Overall a good experience.
