1250 Dominion Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 8G7, Canada
Comfortable Greek standby for traditional plates, gyros & moussaka, plus seafood entrees.
Love this place but not anymore . Food quality has gone down . Bought Arni Sito twice and this is the second time round they forgot the Taziki sauce which is best eaten with lamb dishes . Spoke to a lady and she says the kitchen is having pressure now but that non sensical reason had nothing to do about forgetting the sauce . It’s not my problem as I paid $30 for that meal alone . Lady over phone says she will replace next time but it’s currently that we need it .
We have been ordering food to take out from here for many years now, best Greek food in the area and their staff are always great. They've only ever made one minor mistake on our order and they went above and beyond what I'd ever expect to fix it. Excellent service and food, worth a visit for dinner
The food is not meeting the requirements. The portion is really small but the taste is good. The two skewers that was mentioned in the menu was the same size as one normal skewer. There was barely and rice and it took them 1 hour and 20 l minutes to get the food to our table. The picture in the review is not what you get. The fork and knifes were not clean, and the glasses were worst. Would not recommend this place to anyone!
Our first time at this place and we absolutely enjoyed our meal. The portion size is good for the prices.
Good is good, service was careful, atmosphere is good, but food was so expensive We had Arni psito, scallop & prawn Pernod, zucchini fried. Everything was good I loved zucchini fried.
Have been here many times and really enjoy the people and the food. Tried the zucchini sticks (bad for me but always good), beef souvlaki and the lamb shoulder. I would recommend the lamb.
Outstanding Greek cuisine. Their roast lamb melts in your mouth and the calamari is crispy outside and tender inside. Also, our seafood platter was all cooked to perfection The service is very friendly and attentive. We had an excellent experience here.
We had a Greek craving today and decided to try here. The website's menu and dish descriptions are so enticing it was hard to choose what we wanted. We ended getting the saganaki and the Pallas Athena platter as that gave a good variety to try. I called to order and the person was polite as I ordered. The order was ready in 30 minutes. The restaurant was clean and they seemed to have very good covid protocols. I really appreciated the fact that they put on new plastic wrap after I used the machine. Unfortunately I found the food quality not what I'm used to when going to a nice Greek restaurant. The portions were a good size and could easily feed 3-4 people. It might be that these dishes are better when eaten in but I found the lamb lacking the juiciness and the calamari was flat. I found some dishes a bit on the salty side and it almost felt like I was eating leftovers rather than take out. Overall I'd give this place 3.5 stars as the food was ok but definately not making me crave more.
Starters and mains came promptly all tasted great. Thank you Pallas Athena.
Great food friendly staff great service
Great food, very fast service. Very cozy, but busy place. Food
Good service, good food, good value for money.
Maybe our standards are higher than what most in Poco expect, but the food is just not spectacular, a 2.5/5. The Kalamari tastes frozen pre-made, the spanakopita is good but very thin and small, the ribs are not well seasoned. The chicken souvlaki was great however. The customer service from the servers is good. But the management decisions they employ with regards to serving food is ridiculous. For example, They don t serve lemons with anything, but then they constantly ask if we want any. They asked if we wanted tzatziki sauce. All of these things are things we expect on the plate, at every other Greek place we ve been to. This all combines for a very stingy kind of experience. Another example is a couple times they swooped in for plates as soon as you re done eating. Not sure if they were running out of plates, but it all combines for a poor/low class type of experience. They serve the salad before serving their entrees. Some people may prefer to have their salad on the side of their food. Serving the salad this way seems like they were trying to go for a higher class type of experience, but the rest of the experience doesn t seem high class enough for it to make sense. The atmosphere and decor is good.
Yum! This Greek restaurant is a hidden gem! From the flavorful souvlaki to the creamy tzatziki, every dish was a delight for the taste buds. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine!
Hands down best Greek food in try city . The staff is super polite and knowledgeable . Cozy atmosphere inside . I would highly recommend the Arni psito its unbelievably delicious .
Over Priced and greasy food. Service is not great
This was once my favorite Greek restaurant. We have sent so many recommendations out and have eaten here for years. Since covid the quality has gone down. They now serve frozen beans, they no longer add feta to the Greek salad, the portion size of the chicken souvlaki has gone down but the price up, no longer do they sprinkle red onions on the calamari and no more tentacles just squid bodies and the portion size also reduced. I totally understand the cost of food has gone up and they must increase menu prices to stay competitive but dont change the portion or quality, this is when customers go else where and word of mouth changes. Im not sure if there is new ownership however things have definitely changed at my once favorite Greek restaurant.
Simply great .
Food is expensive and everything is so greasy.
Excellent service, cool decorum, food tasty and would be even better if cooked with olive oil. I had some kind of small stones (bones?) in (on?) my lamb souvlaki, and my now painful tooth will make me remember forever this place.
The food is always good, and the portions are generous. The price is reasonable.
good food from greek. ZEUS! rahhhhhh
The most authentic Greek food you can find in Tri-cities
Ordered 1.5 hours early, Still had to wait 40 min when came to pick up from the time slot given. Order from here a lot in the past . Will be a while before doing it again. Food
Service is a 10. Food is good. Frozen beans suck, expect fresh for the price. Chicken souvalki portion consistently keeps shrinking, 2 small screwers, portion size small. They changed from red onion to strong white onion in tge Greek salad and kalimari. They are cutting and cutting yet prices going up Too bad. This was our go to Greek. Staff are awesome every time
Super friendly staff ,warm surroundings wide selection of wine and drinks had a wonderful time for dinner there
The food was absolutely amazing. I had the ribs and man they melted in my mouth.
My favorite Greek restaurant anywhere and one of my favorite restaurants overall. I go for the kalamari and stay for the Arni Psito, but I would cheerfully recommend everything Ive tried on the menu. The service is very professional and attentive. The place is nicely decorated although can be a little loud when its full of patrons. Good parking and covid measures in place EDIT: Same great food and service. It was great to go back after a bit of a hiatus. I pledge to myself not to do that again.
Fantastic night out. Weve always gotten take-out but tonight we dined in. Well worth getting food fresh! Dessert and coffee afterwards was amazing too
Trying to understand the reviews by different patrons re the calamari. Some 1 star, some 5 star?? How can there be such a discrepancy. Is there flavour or no taste. I love good calamari but totally dislike poorly made calamari. So what is it chef?
they have the best calamari here and amazing service every time we go
I was having dinner today January 21st, 2024 with my wife and three of my best friends. I did order the Calamari and the sauteed tiger Prawns starters. The Calamari has no taste whatsoever. I was just eating something chewy that is under cook and has no taste as if the chef forgot to marinated. I mentioned that to the server, and she did replace it for me. The only think I noticed on the second Calamari dish that is was hot but again not tasty. Regarding the service: One of the server was young and it seems that he doesnt know the menu. I asked for black tea and the tea was warm and not individually wrapped. The tea bag was old so it tasted funny. I was expecting better food and better service from a Greek cuisine. Very disappointed.
Great food great service!
After a 3 year hiatus, due to moving, Wwe had a great dinner night with a couple of great friends. The food was great, the service was great, bit not intrusive, and atmosphere is comfortable. We had a 3.5 hour dinner, more of a social catch-up, and not once did they ask about the final bill, they let us ask. We missed Pallas Athena and glad to come back for a great evening dinner.
I went in with high expectations but left utterly disappointed. I am still puzzled about why this place was so highly rated. I wouldnt recommend it.
Felt cold near the back wall but everything else was good. Will be back but need better heating. It was a cold evening, unusual weather.
Fantastic and authentic Greek cuisine! Great service too.
Awesome Greek restaurant in town, my favorite food is that baby back Ribs
Amazing food and staff. Highly recommend the Roast Lamb.
Awesome dining experience.
Excellent place for dinner, thanks a lot
First time at this little hidden gem..food was amazing! Loved the service, owners came out to greet us and asked us about the quality of food. Cant believe I didnt know about this place. Their lamb is to die for..saganaki was delicious and the bougatsa dessert was mouth watering. Cant wait for the next visit
Ordered seafood platter for 2 and the salmon was super small for one along with one small scallop skewer and prawn skewer
I like it
Excellent Greek restaurant great for dates.
Absolutely fantastic value, quality, and service. Roast lamb shoulder was deliciously juicy and moist, and very well seasoned. I usually dont like the lemon potato but Pallas did a fantastic job and didnt over do the lemon! CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!
More disappointing each time we order take out. We have faithfully ordered from Dinakis for many years because most of the time we have ordered their food throughout these years have been positive experiences with great food. I have to write this negative review now since this restaurant has sadly gone down hill these last few years. Let s talk about the roast lamb, which was once amazingly delicious big chunks of tasty tender fall apart melt in your mouth taste bombs, best lamb ever now the quality has surely changed as it s either full of big fatty chunks or half of vertebrates with some not so tender all the time mixed with dry pieces of meat you can t be sure if it s another piece of bone of meat! very weird TBH. Then there s the fettuccine Alfredo omg butter much? Do they even have a qualified chef working in that restaurant? It oozes oily sauce that s really unbearable and inedible. Then the pita bread that is as hard as rock! Sad but true. They need to get their act together!
Owner and staff is absolutely amazing. Great service from everyone.
First the good. It was a Sunday evening and my wife and I were really looking forward to Greek. Our go-to spot wasnt open, so we called around. Pallas Athena, which we hadnt ever tried, was open but fully booked with large groups. But because we were just two they said theyd find a way to fit us in. Great! When we arrived the staff were welcoming and gracious. Another good sign. While I considered going with my usual Greek favourite, roast lamb, we both decided to order my wifes favourite, moussaka, which the menu unabashedly touted as a specialty of the place that wed be sure to want more of. First came the Greek salad, included with the entree but served separately as a starter. It looked good and didnt fail to please, sprinkled as it was with lots of tasty feta and decent portions of green peppers, cucumber, onion and just the right amount of vinaigrette. The pita bread was lame, however (some kind of puffed bread with no substance to it), and Ive never quite figured out why Greek restaurants, at least in our part of the world, almost always serve their salad with but one solitary specimen of their cuisines crown jewel, the kalamata olive. At least this one wasnt from a can. As for the entree, while the ample portion of perfectly cooked green beens was a nice touch (some Greek restaurants dont serve any cooked side vegetable with moussaka) and the rice pilaf passed muster, the Greek potato wasnt among the best wed ever had. And the moussaka? I managed to pick my way through about half of it before deciding Id suffered enough. It was like no moussaka wed experienced. A puffy, flavourless oddity that, while it did contain a thin layer of meat and some egg plant sandwiched between appropriately nondescript potato, it looked, felt and tasted like it was something out of a grocerys frozen food section. It might appeal to some, but in our opinion the roast lamb, or for that matter probably almost anything else on the menu, is the better bet.
Just had dinner here was a large party of 12 the service was amazing the food was delicious I would definitely recommend this restaurant
The portion sizes are generous and the lamb is absolutely amazing.
Very good food and outstanding service
Delicious
Friendly staff that is attentive without lurking. Quick service. Really good food, the lamb was fall of the bone melt in your mouth good. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food on the plates.
Food was fantastic and the staff were wonderful- so friendly, polite and attentative. Will definitely be going back!
Cozy , nice food and good service.
Parking: Very nice place and good food... Food
I ordered takeout but from the few min I was there to pick up my order, it seems like a nice place with nice decor. Hostess was very friendly. Food was overall good but too salty for my palate. Vegetarian options: They have some seafood options like salmon or calamari. Kid-friendliness: I did see kids in the restaurant with their families so I would assume its kid-friendly
Great food, fresh and super tasty. We ordered 4 different dishes and they were all great.
Front staff and servers were welcoming, friendly, attentive and efficient. However failing marks for the kitchen on what should be classic Greek food items. Moussaka was mushy and the topping which should be a delightful bechamel was thin, rubbery, and rather tasteless. The spanikopita was flat and thin with a heavy non-flaky crust and a soggy tasteless spinach filling with hardly any feta cheese. Overall the meals we had including salad and pita were underwhelming. Beans were soft and over cooked, the Greek potato was lacking the expected lemony flavour. The only thing we felt positive about was the tzatziki and pita although one small pita shared for two dinners seemed a bit parsimonious. This was not our first visit to this restaurant but it will definitely be our last. Not recommended.
The shrimp and scallop with Pernod is the best !!! The food is fresh and the portions are very good.
The food is great, staffs are polite and freindly
Zeus Platter was amazing
Food was extremely low quality !! Service was really bad and not friendly . I felt like i was at senior hospital food court for a second . They calling a Greek restaurant but actually cant be.Theyre food not even close to any Greek food restaurants in bc . Dont waste your money or time going to this place . Much better resturants around the area with friendly atmosphere and better quality food . Definetly not recommended This place .!!!
Food was very good, but service was slow and disorganized.
The portion was smaller than other Greek restaurants that I have tried. The food was ok but too salty for me. Overall not a bad restaurant.
Food was quite good, especially the dolmas. Nice cocktails.
Amazing food and great staff, absolutely love the lamb!!!!
Take out was cold upon pick up, and we were told the Pallas Platter feeds three but there were only two servings and we were missing the mixed vegetables. After calling for clarification, I was told mixed vegetable is only served when dinning in, but the menu doesnt say that. To top it off the two small Greek salads were not fresh (dressing was all oil) and would only feed one person. The chicken, spanakopita, and calamari tasted like it was from yesterday. The only thing that was edible was the rice, potatoes, and pita. The offer of extra vegetables and a desert for our next visit was kind of insulting. I know the reviews were great and most days this place probably is great, but today was not one of those days and the staff missed an opportunity to fix it and make it great.
I had lamb chops very fatty so was only a tiny bit of meat in them. No mint sauce was offered. Table was right near a speaker hard to have a conversation. The restaurant felt tired and dark. No espresso machine.
Best greek food in the area
Roast lamb delicious. Service was outstanding with very attentive staff who made sure all tables were well looked after. I will definitely be back.
Hadnt been here in quite awhile. Went with the fam last week and Pallas Athena did not disappoint !! The food is still as good as ever. Highly recommend the mouth watering, fall off the bone, perfectly seasoned, lamb shoulder !! Had many lamb shoulders at other Greek restaurants, but NOTHING compares to the lamb here !!
Had a lovely little sit down dinner with my partner here, and was surprised it wasnt more busy. The food was great for the price point, we shared the Zeus platter, and the service was fantastic. Our waitress Flavia was attentive, professional, and so friendly. We would be happy to come back for dinner again.
Love the food at this place but my husband wont go back after a horrible take out experience. He arrived when they said he should and he still had to wait an hour. After 20 mins they said it would be right out and he waited another 20 mins before asking again. After 40 mins they said oh yours was there the whole time but now its cold so we will make another. One hour later its ready, no apology, no discount, hes sworn it off forever . Update may 10, 2021 Dropped the star rating. Had Pallas Athena for takeout for mothers day and I feel like our journey here is done. Please recommend your favorite Greek places. We have supported them for years but every meal just keeps getting worse and my husband is just down with them. Tonight,my friend stated their souvlaki didnt even taste marinated, it tasted like dry grilled chicken with oregano. I can confirm The rice was undercooked and bland, the potato wasnt as delectable as it was in days past. The Greek salad was just olive oil, no acid at all. I had to add salt and lemon juice to the meal which Ive never had to do. Also, their menu prices online arent accurate. It states 17.50 for their souvlaki on one area, 18.50 on another and they charged $20.50 per meal today . This picture is the one my friend has which was a full meal minus 1 chicken skewer.
Great atmosphere, I was really taken back in a good way when I first walked in. I would recommend making a reservation as they can get quite busy, food was amazing and the service was on point
Definitely a gem in Port Coquitlam! The service was great, the atmosphere, very authentic and the food amazing! I absolutely recommend the prawns and scallops in Pernod....to die for!! I cant wait to go again
Excellent food and staff, always top notch here
Excellent food and service but extremely LOUD!!!!!!!!
Great Greek food...the saganaki is to die for! I had the spanakopita dinner and my date the moussaka and we both loved our dinner! Highly recommend their Greek salad as well. A PoCo hidden gem! Corona and Italian Pinot Grigio are our fave beverages.
The food what amazing, so much flavour. Caramel apple martini was lovely! Service was phenomenal. We shared the seafood platter and the roast of lamb! So yummy!!! We will be back :)
Great food and Service. I celebrated my Mother-in-laws 75th birthday there. I had the mousaka and it was very delicious. Highly Recommend.
Supposed be an authentic Greek restaurant. But why food was so salty..
Refreshing to have eaten hearty Greek food other than the usual chains. The appetizer platter is huge, everything was tasty, pita was fresh and addictive. The lamb entree was a gigantic portion (love!!!) And it melted in the mouth. Rice was flavourful and luscious. The seafood entree was decadent. Portion seemed smaller compared to the lamb but was filling because of the cream sauce. Highly recommend this place. The traditional greek drink (something like tequila) was the perfect palate cleanser.
Excellent Greek food, perfectly capable service. Fair prices for their quality level. Ive used their take-out slot lately and it works well. Not the actual atmosphere of a seaside Greek town, but then - it isnt. And I will take great food over faux atmosphere every time. So, just go there! My go-to for Greek now.
If you want lamb or ribs that can send you to the mighty greek god Zeus himself. This is the place to go. Meat just crumbles in your mouth followed by a series of savory rice and sides.
Food is fresh and well made, prawns could be better sourced. Our server was very busy so we had to wait patiently. I was very thirsty after I arrived home so sodium content might be higher in the food served
Nice place for good Greek food, prices are reasonable and service is efficient. Can be crowded at times.
Enjoyed the Seafood Pernod! I also love the roasted lamb, so delicious! My birthday dinner was awesome! I highly recommend this Kousina!
This restaurant offers an authentic Greek culinary experience. The flavours are rich and delicious. The menu has a variety of traditional dishes. The souvlaki was deliciously juicy and the sauce in the seafood platter was amazing! The warm feeling when entering the restaurant by the staff was appreciated and the quality of ingredients contributed to a memorable dining experience. We will be back in the future for sure!
Excellent food and even better service! Pam the owner was so accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Love this restaurant, my family has been going here for years, 2005 to be exact. It is a family run restaurant and it is so nice to have a local restaurant that has great food, good service and greets you by name when you enter.
Really nice and cozy restaurant that looks family run. A nice quiet place to spend a couple of hours with friends and family. The staff are very nice and friendly but not very good at their job. They kept going back and forth to get our orders right and it took really long for the food to arrive. The wait was worth it though, specially the lamb was amazing!
Good food
Excellent greek food! A must try if you haven t already!
Food and service here are both amazing. The prices are fair as well.
Always love visiting this place. I have been going here for years. Pam (the owner) makes you feel like family when you visit. The quality of the food is outstanding !
Quick friendly service combined with great food made for a great evening out
Food was excellent. It was so busy when we picked up that we had to line up and wait an extra 15 minutes. But the food was worth the wait.
I wish I took pictures to share, as food looked fantastic. We had the rack of ribs, and chicken souvlaki dinners. The portions were generous and came with rice, potato, and Greek salad. The food was hot fresh, and nicely seasoned. The staff were impeccable, and accessible without being overbearing. And the prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. The setting was also very comfortable. I would recommend this place to friends and family without hesitation.
Really friendly staff!
Love the people and atmosphere, food is fantastic reminds me of Stephos in Vancouver but in our sleepy little town. Try the Mythos Greek beer winner winner lamb diner. Try the shared platter is a must so much food and fun!
A friend recommended this place. I had the calarami . The batter was light, crispy and not greasy. The squid was perfect and tasty. The rice was delicious and fluffy. Highly recommend.
Great food
This was our second visit here. Staff, service and food was excellent. Roast lamb was delicious. Super friendly excellent experience. Thank you !!
Really enjoyed our dinner at Pallas Athena last night! Friendly and efficient staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious traditional Greek flavors. We enjoyed the garlic prawns and calamari (light and crisp) then had the chicken souvlaki and roasted lamb shoulder (both came out piping hot and meats were moist and tender) Very reasonable pricing for both drinks and food.
Super clean washrooms and very friendly staff. We ordered the house recommendations (lamb and ribs) which was awesome (absolutely recommended) and starter plate with Alfredo-fettuccini for my daughter and (recommended) greek wine I would even give one or two more stars if I could We enjoyed the evening at this place at my 50th birthday. Absolutely recommended
We had such a great experience here. The food was awesome. Our server Natasha is so helpful and cheerful! We will come back often.
Good food and great service.
About 80 for 2 people, although it was a lot of food
Celebrated my Fathers Birthday here and had an amazing time. The food was awesome and the portions were huge. Try the Athena Platter for two, could easily feed four.
The food was great and the scallops were cooked perfectly.
Delicious food, good service and cozy atmosphere. Cezar Salad with Prawns was great. I also highly recommend to try their deserts.
As always the food and the service was too notch here. Do yourself a favour and try it out.
Great Greek food and lovely ambiance.. great service and love the welcome. We were there as a group for a birthday party. I always enjoy it here.
Ordered for the first time, we had the chicken souvlaki and the ribs. The entrees were both very good but the pita seemed kind of stale and spongy. Otherwise we quite enjoyed it!
I was craving Greek food, and ended up ordering the lamb souvlaki. Service was good, but I was quite disappointed with the boiled vegetables served with the meal. Rice and potato were okay, and the salad and pita were nice. Overall it was okay, staff was nice but food just didnt hit the spot. I may give this another shot.
Great place for an early, uncrowded dinner, as they open at 4. Wonderful service.
Great food and friendly staff.
Excellent food, decent portions, homely service, would definitely go back again.
We ordered the beef souvlaki and lamb. Salad was very fresh, pita was yummy and lamb was very soft. Servers were all very kind.
This place is consistently good every single time my family comes to dine. I always order the same thing, the Arni Psito (lamb shoulder) and it is honestly SO GOOD. It is literally *chef s kiss* The staff are always friendly and really know how to give great customer service. I always recommend this place whenever my friends ask me for great restaurants in the area.
Best takeout souvlaki in Coquitlam!
Great tasting food - we had it as takeaway, but it was still good and hot when we got home. Good sized portions too - plenty left for snacks the next day.
Just my favourite Greek restaurant. That s all
Great service and delicious food
Best quality greek in town. If there is a better place I havent found it yet
Great food and large portions!
My first time at Pallas and it was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it! I ll be going back.
I came here for an early dinner with hubby! First of all, the vibes are super chill but classy! The food is excellent, we got calamari to start with hummus and pita! Delishhhh! I got the chicken and prawn souvlaki, so fresh, so juicy! My husband got Arni Psito (roast lamb) it practically fell off the bone, great portion also! Our server was Marinella, she was so polite and professional, excellent attention to detail. She was super friendly and made great recommendations for drinks too! I highly recommend to ask for her to be your server, she is genuinely one of the nicest servers I ve encountered! Overall 5 stars We will most definitely return, except this time with more friends!
As always great, nice warm inviting atmostsphere. Friendly and efficient.
We love the lamb souvlaki dinner - the lamb is tender and moist. Decent wine options at reasonable price. Our choice about monthly for a quiet, simple dinner. Service is pleasant and not overly attentive. Its a little off the beaten path. Worth the effort to find it.
Great food, Great service. Only thing that was missing was tzatziki with the souvlaki but they brought it out when i requested.
Ive eaten at this restaurant more than 20 times. Every single time its consistently good, if not great. Not once have I had a bad in dining or take out experience. I certainly cant say the same about the majority of restaurants in Coquitlam, many of which I dont visit anymore because of previous experiences. In fact there are very few restaurants in Coquitlam that are consistently good. This is one of the very few restaurants that has excellent food all the time. Thanks to the owners for maintaining a quality dining experience. Its nice to see someone takes pride in their business especially when it comes to quality of food.
Excellent Greek food.
A amazing place to eat with such friendly funny staff. The food was amazing and I will be going back again for dinner. I am glad I remembered to save room for Desert. 10/10
My favourite Greek restaurant, wish they did lunch as well. Sampler platter was great!
Amazing food. Very fresh food and ingredients, great friendly staff. Very impressed with quality of food. Went for a work function , all the food came out together and hot. Very happy and will be back for sure.
We love Greek food and we loveeeeee this restaurant!! Was the first time but we will be back!! Since gets busy, always call and book a table ! Good delicious, great service, great people and very beautiful design!
My go to place for Greek food, go get the lamb.
Nothing special. Way too attentive also. I appreciate good service but over the top here. The waiter also had body odour.
Great place and great food what ever you chose (not to grease) . Service was excellent. Definitely will come again.
Very nice place with great food
Good Place, Good Food and Good People.. Ordered the following... Chicken Souvlaki Prawns Alfredo Mushroom Alfredo Pita and hummus Strawberry Margarita Santorini Sangria Ouzo The drinks were decently made. Strawberry Margarita was perfect in taste and sweetness, Santorini Sangria came with berries and Ouzo was served over ice Pita was made in house and served hot with house hummus - DELICIOUS !! Prawn Alfredo was cooked well and very tasty.. The staff was SUPER friendly and kind.. Did take some time to get our food ... Will surely come here again to try more dishes...
Very cozy and friendly place. Good food and friendly staff. Best of all they had a seniors menu which was great for us. We will definitely go back there. Thank you.
Great food. Great service. Our favourite Greek place!
I love Greek food, but this has truly been a terrible and disappointing experience. My girlfriend and I arrived for a date night to this restaurant. Since we walked in the door we felt like we were being ignored by the staff. The hostess, after acknowledging us, proceeded to spend multiple minutes in the phone answering calls. After completing multiple calls, she proceeded to lead us to our seats. After sitting down, it look over 10 minutes for any of the servers to notice us and actually ask for our drinks. After taking our drink request, it took another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive and for the server to actually ask for what we would like to eat. After taking our order, we couldn t have a proper conversation since it was too loud to hear one another. During our 40 minute wait for the food, we were given pita bread exactly once, with no offers for refills (while other parties had their bread refilled multiple times). I got fed up and waved down one of the servers and asked for a refill, which unfortunately never arrived. The food was edible but definitely not worth the price. Also, THEY CHARGED US FOR DRINK (ICE TEA) REFILL. Overall, I will never go back there ever again. I have never been closer to just standing up and walking away as I have felt like doing during this experience. Never again.
Food is excellent here
Food quality is great food was exstremly fresh however we didnt really get what we wanted. Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs
Delicious calamari and very accommodating of my lactose intolerance by providing dairy-free options! Husband enjoyed the moussaka. Best Greek food Ive had in the lower mainland. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating of my lactose intolerance by providing dairy-free options. Parking: Lots of parking.
First time going here. I got the lamb shoulder. And oh my gosh. It was soooooo delicious. Juicy, fall apart in your mouth good. Didnt even need a knife to cut it. It just pulled apart seamlessly. Service met my expectations. The atmosphere was nothing to write home about. But I feel this place really shines with its food. Only been here once. Will definitely go again. 5/5 Amazing greek cuisine.
Such a wonderful little Gem! We had calamari, it was so light and crisp! We also had some lamb, and it was the most tender lamb shank! Staff were wonderful and attentive. Cute place a romantic date
Best overall food and value for Greek in the Tri-City area
Took our friends out for dinner here they enjoyed it.
It was such a pleasant experience... The staff is just great. We tried the Pallas platter. Probably good for 3 easy and it was delicious. The lamb shoulder was probably the best I had in a very long time.

Food does take a little long. But worth the wait. Delicious food. Nice portion size. Friendly staff.
Owner is lovely. Huge, delicious meals and attentive staff.
Pallas Athena food is always consistently good. The servers are courteous and friendly.
Food was delicious, all staff were very friendly. Felt very comfortable with the Covid protocols still in place: shields, hand sanitizing, distancing between tables....
Yummy! Good value too
Great service and amazing food their rack of ribs is so good
Great little Greek restaurant! Perfect portion size of the slouvaki, which was very good. Very friendly staff and cool little atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out and will probably go back next time Im craving Greek!
Outstanding service and fantastic food
Always great each time I go.
Great restaurant, lamb is amazing, but chicken is dry and beans taste like they came out of a frozen bag.
I thought this place was ok. I found lamb and beef souvlaki kind of dry and overcooked. Side dishes such as rice, potatoes and greek salad were delicious. Spinakota was really delicious also. Portion was pretty good. But I wouldn t go back as the yumminess of lamb is very important to me. My first try with this place, now I know I d rather go to Dinakis.
Took an hour and a half to receive our entrees. Food was delicious but uncomfortable chairs and long wait times took away from the experience.
Excellent service and great food.
I will never go to, or do take out from this place ever again. Rude people. Plus they also are in favor of this covid passport. Not suprised at all by this.
Tasty & delicious Greek food. Dining in? Great. Picking up? Good. But delivery? Terrible! They put you on hold for 3-5 mins each time before they take your order, (maybe hoping you will hang up), and delivery is always 1 - 1.5 hours. Sometimes longer! Tonight I waited 1 hr 45 mins. They only have one driver it appears. Even during these CoVid trying times.
Arni psito!
Food is tasty. Lamb is tender , chicken souvlaki is juicy, calamari is crisp, dolmas and keftedes are not bad either. They were not dry. Rice and spinakopita was also good. It could include more pita bread maybe? We ordered the pallas platter for two. Good sized for two ppl for sure. Why did I give 3 stars? Well this place really lack of soul for a Greek restaurant. The decorations are really missing the vibe of Greek restaurants I ve been before. So plain, and dark colors. Table cloths could be blue color at least. The music is very very low. Instead it should be lively Greek music. I ll definitely order take out in the future but in dining? I don t think so
Great food and service
Favourite Greek place. Ive eaten in Athens, Greece and I can assure you this food is just as good as if you were actually there. Owner is super nice, and goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. For example my girlfriends leftovers that she wanted packed to go accidentally got tossed out so they made her a brand new dish just to take home. Amazing! I aways recommend Pallas Athena to anybody who likes Greek food.
Delicious food - great service.
Ive ordered takeout from here at least 5 times in the past few years. The arni psito (lamb shoulder) is my go to and have always been tasty. The paidakia (lamb chops) not so much - it was pretty rubbery when I ordered it recently. I hate to say this but Ive noticed the portion size have shrunk significantly over the past few years! We decided to try the scallop & prawns pernod ($13.50) and was shocked to find 3 tiny prawns and scallops with an almost empty container of a watered down pernod sauce that had almost no taste...we were all speechless when we opened the container (we had takeout). We will most likely not order from here again. There are so many other better Greek restaurants in the lower mainland.
Its amazing this place passes health inspection.
