So happy to come here, as everything shown in picture the food was sooooooo delicious starter with the tikki chaat that give us hint the food is going to be so amazing , we had masala tea that was also so good and the food and everything really gives the taste of india. I would love to visit them one more time. Love it

I ordered butter chicken and got a total of six pieces of chicken. I called to complain, sent them a photo and it was if they didn t believe me. Basically $30 for sauce and bread

Visited this amazing restaurant today with my cousin and we had the most delicious food . We had the chicken biryani , chicken tikka masala , fish pakora , gulaab jamun and chai . We enjoyed it immensely. We had still lots to take home . Service was excellent and the melodious songs just a very enjoyable experience. Food

My boyfriend and myself always get takeout from here as we love the food so much, but we wanted to try eating in the restaurant. The food was amazing, we ordered the Vegetable Dum Biriyani, Chicken Curry, and the Palak Paneer. Every dish was plated with care, and tasted so good. Really good prices for the portion size you get. The owner was courteous and funny, he even showed me how to fold the napkin like they place on their tables. We will certainly eat in here more, and I would recommend Bombay to other people. My wife and I had their lunch buffet yesterday which I haven t had in a couple years. Enjoyed the food but less varieties than last time. On this day they didn t have tandoori chicken which is only served on certain days of the week, not like in the past but I will call ahead as I loved eating it there last time. My only complaint which is minor and I didn t bother to mention was the horrible, awful continual meandering piano background music which I found very annoying. Would have much preferred classic Indian music ( sitar, etc) in the background. More fitting for this type of specialty restaurant.

My friend and I have come here a few times. We got the butter chicken and vindaloo last time. This time we got the Bandu chicken and Mango prawns, with rice for the delicious sauces. We both got to take home some leftovers for lunch too! Well be back to explore other options in the menu!

First time dinning here. The food was great, the garlic naan was fresh and delicious, my girlfriend and I also loved the chicken korma. The beer was cold and served with a glass just as cold. We both enjoyed the experience.

I just had the worst experience trying to place an order over the phone. The staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked a simple question about the menu, I was met with attitude and impatience, as if I was bothering them. Instead of helping me, the person on the other end rushed through my questions and eventually hung up on me! I cant believe a restaurant that claims to care about its customers would treat someone this way. If they can t even handle a phone call professionally, I can t imagine how bad their service in person must be. Needless to say, I wont be ordering from this place again. Avoid it at all costs!

Polite, spotless, and delicious food. This is my goto restaurant for Indian food and one of my favorite restaurants in general. The butter chicken is always perfect, as is the rest of their menu. Highly recommend.

This is my go to place for indian food, the food is amazing and the potion sizing is such an amazing deal for the price. The service is friendly and I always enjoy either dining in or out.

Placed an order with them via UberEats. There were Lamb and Chicken as Protein Choice for Chicken Biryani so I ordered two chicken biryanis and two lamb biryanis by selecting protein choice . I didn t go through the entire menu. Then i received a phone call from the restaurant asking why i selected lamb. When i told them that s how it was on UberEats, they didn t seem to believe it and demanded my credit card details saying the prices are different. As the restaurant doesn t seem to realise their own mistake on UberEats which mislead customers, i requested them to send chicken biryanis instead. Funnily enough, I later realised that the total price difference is even less than two dollars and i even had made a restaurant contribution of two dollars which was suggested by UberEats.

Amazing food great atmosphere everything we had was to die for

The quality of food, as well as the selection, has gone way down. We used to go here often with our extended family and really enjoyed their buffet. However, this time we were quite disappointed. The butter chicken tasted like it was a day or two old and their rice as well as their pakora was cold and stale. The dessert selection was also quite poor. Their tapioca pudding used to taste amazing but this time it was super bland. Not worth $20 per person.

Just had 3 biryani (2 chicken and 1 lamb) delivered. Weve always enjoyed Bombays dum biryani but this time it tasted very different. The colour is very light and its bland and not spicy at all. Cant taste much of the other spices too. Tasted more like fried rice than dum biryani. Was it a different chef today? So disappointed. Hope this is just a one-time occasion.

This place has great energy, wonderful food and Kishan and the rest of the staff are awesome. Definitely the best Indian restaurant Ive been to in a long time and is my go to place.

The manager was absolutely ridiculous. His personality and his behaviour was unacceptable however He is honestly the worst manager I ve ever seen. He is literally horrible. The personality is absolutely ridiculous and he is judgemental and extremely racist. I have never seen anybody that racist in my entire life before so for the ownership I feel so sorry that you have this manager running your restaurant when the servers were amazing and everybody was so respectful, but this manager was absolutely ridiculous I visited this restaurant on Monday for lunch and I regret and I will never ever be coming back

Weve been going to the Bombay Restaurant for years. Simply the best fine Indian cuisine in town!!! Other places dont even come close to the taste and quality of food of Bombay Restaurant. Friendly staff and great service. Comments to chefs and kitchen staff!!! There is plenty of parking as well.

I love the service in this restaurant. I come here maybe once every 2 to 3 months ( I live in burnaby), but every time Im done, I just tell myself that I need to be back sooner. Great food and again, especially the service 10 out of 10.

Went there around 2 on saturday as they had advertized chilly mushroom on lunch buffet for the day. Went to get food from buffet, it was mostly empty. The only thing full was raita and salads. Took few of what was there and waited for them to fill. Surprisingly, they removed chilly mushroom and added aloo gobhi which was undercooked and clearly raw as they made it in hurry when they ran out of chilly mushroom. No rice either for time being and asked server for naan and she said she would deliver it to the table. Got naan served when we were almost done and roughly after 15-20 minutes. Poor service and highly disappointed.

This place used to have a great buffet, now they have a take out combination which is quite complete for only $11. Very tasty and authentic. One of my favorites in the PoCo area. Open for dine in with social distancing. Update: Buffet is available again at $18 but they have a higher end assortment like mutter paneer and Chili fish

I ordered biryani food was tasty really nice but they dont give any curry or raita with biryani which is so weird for me suggestion to management please add raita or curry.

I think I just found my new Go-To for Skip the Dishes when I cant dine-in. The food was amazing, and the portions very generous. Good for sharing, but I ate it all myself!

The food is ok, the staff are nice but the owner. He was rude, we were 12 (with 3 kids). First we asked a server about ice cream and she said we have ice cream (we wanted ice cream for kids). Later when we finished our food the owner came to kind of let us know the time is up even though it was within their business hours. We told him we wanted to order ice cream but he rudely replied we dont have ice cream, we told him we want to orderfrom the menu and we will pay (in case he thought we expect ice cream from buffet) and he said we do not have ice cream at all in our menu (probably he did not check with his staff that she already told us) I even checked their menue online and they do have ice creame in their menu.

Came in this place for take-out few days ago and today to dine in love love love the food all the Indian food lover do try this place. Services are amazing and quick they did not make us wait like other restaurants food had different level of spice option and yes do try chicken shorba (soup) it tastes authentic Very much affordable price wise as well we had food here and we were full. Ordered 2 dishes of chicken Korma for 2 adults and one child, with lots of sides. The amount of Chicken is so little it would not even feed a child. You dont get much for what you pay for. This is the first time I have not been happy with the portions so they must have changed some things. Prices went way up over the years and portions way smaller. Lame

The owner makes you feel he is happy to have you dine with them .the lunch buffet is worth checking out .a few items change daily giving you the opportunity to try other dishes. Delicious butter chicken

We come here very often, usually never busy at the restaurant, its ashame because the food here is pretty on point. We usually get the chicken curry, and biryani.

The Bombay lunch brunch, what else is there to say. A family favorite for almost 20 years. Head here for some delicious Indian food!

Bought a few samosas and got disappointed big time. 1. The dough was not cooked at all where it folds and was like elastic since its raw, see pic. 2. Omg, thats an awful lot of coriander seeds in your samosas, after a few bites, i had to start picking them off one by one to try to eat the rest. Trust me, coriander seed is something you should go easy on when using in foods, whatever it is, even samosas. See pic and see if i was exaggerating. Giving one extra star because other dishes are pretty good.

My family and I have been going here for many years and love this place! Kishan was wonderful and very accommodating for our vegetarian diet. The portion sizes are great and fairly priced. They got to know us all by name and always make us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

The Chicken Tikka Masala on Garlic Naan is something like heaven. Ask for them to make it spicy. Their buffet is also excellent. One of my all time favorite restaurants.

Just ordered off of skip, first and last time trying here. Ordered the lunch special. The vegetable pakora was just made with French fries, the butter chicken tasted like cambells tomato soup was used for the base and the curry chicken tasted off/sour.

Since changing ownership the buffet prices continually rise while the food quality falls. There was one server who came in after the new owner took over and she was absolutely terrible every single time we went. We had to find out her schedule to ensure we avoided her completely. We won t be going back until they revamp their buffet options and prices.

While, I don t have any problem with the staff, I was treated very rudely by the server Raj who is generally here everyday. It happened third time we felt discriminated by her, the way she treats We arrived at 2:20 and buffet food was all cold however the buffet was supposed to be closed at 2:30pm. The male guy here is very rude and the worst customer service I have experienced ever.

Food is not the same as it used to be

Had a good time. We both liked the food, tasty and nicely spiced.

Loved the food however the service and aggressive manner from the owner when we wanted our bills split totally spoiled our evening. We had made it clear when ordering which dishes would be paid by whom however the manner in which we were treated when we had to again clarify which meals were to be on which bills was down right aggressive and took over 15 minutes to resolve. No matter how good the food is at a restaurant I would never ever return to a place that treats its customers and staff this way!

Due to high traffic on highway we arrived 5 minutes prior to closing of Buffet. The owner was very accommodating and he let us enjoy the Buffet with no rush. Food was very delicious, loved matar paneer and Rasmalai. Reasonably priced and good customer service. Highly Recommended.

So tasty! Their paneer dishes are rich in spices, thick, and full of vegetables and paneer. And the naan with sesame seeds is my new favourite. We come here for date nights from time to time and always eat every last crumb :)

My husband got take out from here as we were rushing to take our toddler home for a nap. They let him choose what he wanted in a take out container. Gave us naan and fruit for dessert for $18.99. It was DELICIOUS and we will absolutely be back here again. $18.99 for buffet lunch on weekdays and I think free for kids under a certain age.

Been to many restaurants all over but the food here is horrible, bad tasting, not cooked properly chicken , some food items burnt and the food was so bad I got sick when we got home. On top of that the customer service is horrible and very rude girls working there. Get stared at while getting food from buffet is not proper manners or professional to run a restaurant. Overall bad food and extremely bad customer service would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good service and good food

We love this place, even when we gave a shot to other ones on the area, we always come back here, Kishan is very attentive and nice. Some times we call and order for dine in: when we arrive our appetizer is ready or coming to the table. Our child loves shrimp pakora, my wife s favourite is Butter chicken mild and of course I like lamb Korma hot, whit garlic naan and Merlot house wine. For this and the small details we always come to have a great dinner.

Had brunch here the other day for the lunch buffet. The food was delicious. The service was very good. Unfortunately, there are very few dishes to choose from. Three dishes of chicken and 5 vegetable dishes + rice. I would come here more often if they served more dish options.

The food is good but not worth it. The butter chicken only came with 4 pieces of chicken. The service is also very aggressive and rude.

Poor service, and extremely rude staff. I visited with my family, and they seem to treat Indians differently than others. The food was average, nothing that I would go again for. And the audacity of the staff to take things away from your table without asking was extremely rude and annoying. Not recommending spending on this!

Came in for the lunch buffet a while ago and it was honestly a great experience. The gentleman there that day was the most pleasant and attentive. Maybe the manager or owner but either way he was awesome. Even brought us our free drinks to our table. The food is good! And Ive had a lot of butter chicken in my life. All the usual favourites were there and I left happy and full. Cant beat the price either! Ordered the lunch special to go today and man, one of the best. I really like a little bit of everything and most places only give you one veg or non veg dish and rice and naan, but here, you get three dishes plus rice, naan and pakora. Everything was so good, the chutney was perfect. The price is the best compared everywhere else. The service is good! Always nice and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and have lots of seating. Over all an excellent place! Best of all I dont have to go to surrey anymore!

Hi i want to tell you that today im discriminated by kishan a man when we visit last time he told other girl that they are uneducated people that s not fair that we wear india clothes doesn t matter we are uneducated he doesn t even give us proper cutlery and napkins but your food is really good and other services are also really good.

My go to Indian food spot for over 20 years

First time there under the new ownership and it did not disappoint. I frequent many Indian restaurants and this was fresh and delicious. The tandoori fish was perfectly cooked, good sear on the outside but not dry in the middle. The Chicken tikka masala was great, would have liked more veggies to chicken ratio contrary to most people. The chicken breast was also cooked perfectly and not dry. The veggie biryani could have also had more veggies in it but overall still a good dish.

Worst experience ever. Orderer online two chicken dishes. Chicken were rotten and smelt very bad..Would never recommend.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS . Food is not great. The guy at the main who wears glasses scared my 2 year old . My kid was just playing around with us he didn t break anything did not yell or cried . Happily playing . The guy came at first and told us to stop him putting a spoon in a empty glass? And said in front of him *stop him .ITS BAD* my 2 year old was not sure what he did wrong . Later my kid just put little black pepper in the water glass he came back and said what if it goes in people eye? I was thinking will you guys not clean and put the used glass away how will it go into someone s eyes? Whole time he was turning around to see what my kid was doing . Made our dine in totally unpleasant and unhappy . Not going back ever .

Came just after lunch, tried the butter chicken, prawn butter masala, and lamb roganjosh. All 3 were very flavourful and sauce was great dipping with naan/roti. Our waiter Kishan was very nice and attentive, checking in on our spice tolerance. Will come back to try the lunch buffet.

Kishan was our host he was very friendly and made us feel welcomed and was all around nice and helped me pick what I should get overall good experience I recommend this place

We ordered lamb korma from here and it was tasty. I have to say that compared to other Indian restaurants in the area, the expectation was a bit low, but they didnt disappoint us. I would definitely go back tjere for the buffet.

i went today to bombay indian cuisine restaurant to order a take out first time, i was impress by the manager name kishan who take my order , he was very kind and polite and work very hard also serving other customer, claning table and the store look very clean while the other staff working at the kitchen cooking indian food ,i will highly recomend this delicious bombay restaurant in port coquitlam to my groups and friends to patronized this restaurant and thank you mr kishan to have a good customer relationship to your customer and keep up the good work

Family run and super friendly! The butter chicken and curry chicken dishes are tasty! The lamb curry is also very good! Definitely my come back place for curry and butter chicken

Brought the family here for dinner and ordered items with mild spiciness. The adults loved the flavour and the curry had just enough kick in it, but the kids found it a bit spicy for them. We mentioned it to staff and they came back with some yogurt for the kids to adjust the spiciness to their liking which was great service! Kids were able to adjust the spiciness and eat the curry. We all loved the taste and food! At first I was worried I didnt order enough for dinner, but I underestimated it because by the end, we had to pack half the meal because it was quite filling. The staff were friendly and provided their suggestions/recommendations when we asked them for help choosing the dishes and I could see them engaging in conversation with various customers. They did suggest trying the lunch AYCE as it allows us to sample different curry dishes to see what we liked. Ill need to find another day to do that when I have a hungry stomach as this restaurant is another place I want to come back again. Loved the place!

My family and I had the pleasure of meeting Kishan today at his restaurant. I was really impressed with the high level of customer service that he provided. The food in itself was absolutely authentic and amazing. We are so happy to have found this gem.

We went to the Buffett today at lunch. The buffet was decent and service was nice. They also switch their dishes regularly so it s not always the same dishes in the Buffett.

Had dinner tonight with my Mom and my husband. Kishan treated us so well. Really recommend the Palak Paneer, Lamb Curry, Veggie Biryani, and Veggie Korma. Thank you for an amazing meal.

Great tasting food, good portions, good price. Highly recommend the paneer butter masala.

Tried this place a month ago when visiting from California, and came back to try the buffet Canada does Indian food the best! Would travel 20hrs again for more!

The food was tasty, not too many options for lunch. I understand inflation, but price was too high for me to go back. $20

Have been going to this place for years, poor dining experience last night. Food is still good, but service was non-verbal to non existent. Charged prices higher than listed on menu (which already had hand marked increases) - not cool. Too many other options, won t be back quickly.

Decent Indian spot. Not 100% consistent with food quality (different cooks I guess) but good enough overall

Food wasnt great but edible. Service was terrible - male manager shouted at me when I asked if there would be any more of the buffet dishes coming out, as the meats were dry and overcooked and mostly empty. Would NOT recommend - its not considered a buffet if you come at 1:45pm (for a 3pm close) and after half a plate, everything is gone.

Regular Indian food nothing special a place ppl go to try Indian food for the first time. The McDonalds of Indian food

Too salty and too soggy pakoras. No garnishing typically comes with red onions lemon and pickle radish. An off day maybe? I ll come back and check out the buffet another time and see

I had a very busy at work came here and had chicken chilly with Naan. It was amazing made my day. Happy to meet Kishan, appreciate your great suggestion. Recommended dishes

This place has changed for the worse. It changed management and has not been the same since. They sent the wrong items for my take out order, then asked me to bring the items back to them and they prepared my order again. And then they had the nerve to ask me to pay for the replacement of my food. This was over two hours after originally placing the order. Won t ever go back. Portions have shrunk too.

Been going here for years, reasonable and friendly service, the veggie pakoras are incredible.

New ownership but food is still good :)
