This is a must-try Korean-style Chinese restaurant. The food is incredibly tasty, and the broth of the jjambbong is clean and refreshing. Both the sweet and sour pork and the spicy garlic fried chicken were perfectly crispy, with delicious sauces that made the meal very satisfying. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.
One of the best Korean Chinese restaurants in Vancouver. Ordered combo-A for three people and it was more than enough. Tang-su-yuk was freshly made and perfect chewiness. Jjajangmyun and jjambong were the best!
I usually come back here to buy the chicken and fried rice. The taste is inconsistent sometimes its delicious and sometimes no taste. I was looking forward to buy take out today. What i got, chicken is soggy and the fried rice is good but no coleslaw missing in my order. Food has no taste or i might ordered the wrong choice. I put the chicken in air fryer hoping it will be crunchy but doesn't. No more take out for me its not worth $48. May be dine in is worth it than take out and order the right food i may like. I might not come back here. Im so disappointed today.
Food is great. This has become our regular place to get Korean food. The location is also clean and a good place to eat with 4-5 people. The seats are in booths so you will need to separate if you have a larger group. Their khanpuggi (Korean fried chicken with sweet sauce) is my favourite and probably the best I’ve eaten so far.
So my Korean friends recommend us this place so many times and very first time visit here on Saturday:) This place is spacious and quiet 😊 in small old town this is a gem!! What we order as my husband loves fried rice ordered it and I got spicy sweet pork . We both were super happy!!!! They brought us our childhood!! Will definitely come back again!!!😎❤️❤️
Awesome foods and nice service. Most favourite is spicy seafood noodle, which has a lot of seafood and perfect spiciness. When my parents don't have appetite, we place orders of deep fried spicy chicken and seafood scorched rice soup. The rice soup is very soft and delicate and spicy chicken has a perfect balance of crispy outside and tender inside. I highly recommend this restaurant for family dine-in.
We drove by this place countless times. We new that Ruran was a new Chinese Style Korean restaurants. As the building is an old building, we noticed an old building smell immediately. There were not many people dining at this time. I'm guessing daytime business is much busier. We quickly ordered a combo. It came with sweet and sour pork, black bean noodles and a spicy seafood noodle. The sweet and sour pork came first and I must say that it was crispy, juicy and flavorful. We had the sauce on the side so we dipped instead of drenched. Black bean noodles and spicy seafood soup noodles were good. Very good price for Combo A. Great value.
Not vegetarian friendly: just edamame and noodles with black bean sauce. The noodles were pretty good, though; a lot of onions!! Other dishes were pretty good, Chinese Korean style. Dominant flavours: onion, spicy mustard (😋), black bean, rather than the usual Korean gochujang, kimchi tastes. Large portions, shareable - for family-style dining. Yellow pickled daikon and onions with black bean sauce for banchan. Overall food was good. Would like to go back to try other items on menu available.
My first time at Ruran. Tangsuyuk and Spicy Noodle Soup are highly recommended. Will come back!
Top korean-chinese place in metro vancouver.
Jjamppong reminds me of cold weather~ There is also a makgeolli sampler. Wow, I need to try it^^ The level of spiciness is also great~ I enjoyed it so much
Nice food and good quality. However I dont get it price point of combo menu. Why do I need to pay for extra fee to change menu and pay difference. Food
Sweet and sour pork with soybean paste is crazy. I think it s the best Chinese restaurant in Vancouver
Its been a while since I wanted to eat sweet and sour pork and black bean noodles and jjamppong. I went, but I just felt bad. As soon as I take a bite of sweet and sour pork, I smell the pork. The texture is also strange I cant eat Jjamppong either because the seafood is old or because it smells fishy. At least the Jjajang is just a rest stop Jjajang. The price was a bit cheap so I went and ended up throwing away my money. How dirty is the store? The worst restaurant in BC that you never want to go to again.
Great taste
Good value and tasty foods!
Great portions and friendly service.
It was so delicious. The servers were so kind.
I visited in a good mood because it was my childs graduation ceremony, but the restaurant didnt even know that today was the graduation ceremony, so there were only two servers, so the inside of the restaurant was so busy that even the people watching were busy and tired. And when I complained about hair coming out of my food, the part-time worker I had never met kept apologizing and seemed to go to the kitchen to talk, but the kitchen didnt do anything. I didnt expect anything more since I had already paid the bill, but at least I knew the kitchen staff would come out and apologize. I understand... I was very disappointed in the presidents response. I dont usually write reviews, but it seems like theres a lack of sense in running this place.
Went there twice and they got our order wrong twice. Really need to hire people who speak English and have better service. Food is alright, but not worth the expensive prices. There are way better Korean food around the area!
It was really delicious and plentiful. More than anything, I was worried because I was wearing white clothes, but they asked me first if I needed an apron haha. So, thanks to that, I ate comfortably. The Jjajang Jjamppong Sweet and Sour Pork Combo was about $47, but the amount of Sweet and Sour Pork was so large that I couldnt even eat half of it and took it home and ate it for dinner. lol
I was really surprised... Food and service... This house really gets a thumbs up...
Its more delicious and generous than most Chinese restaurants in Korea.
Delicious food, friendly service.
SO delicious!! This is our go to place as the food is always flavourful and the portions are huge. Service is great as well. You won t regret it
Ganjjajang is delicious
Its clean... (the restrooms are always clean too...) All the food is so delicious... my favorite is Jjamppong, Jjajangmyeon, Kkanpunggi, sweet and sour pork, etc. Its all delicious... especially the Jjamppong so delicious... always friendly... the price is good... and frequent. I go there and am always satisfied!!!! Its been a while since I visited today, and I enjoyed it so much that Im leaving a review. May you prosper~~^^
This restaurants soybean paste is truly a work of art. Of course, the other dishes are flawless as well. However, parking is a bit tight. Parking space is not that plentiful.
This is the best soybean paste restaurant of my life. I didnt know the difference between Jjajangmyeon and Ganjjajangmyeon... but my eyes lit up after eating Lourans Ganjjajangmyeon. I mixed the remaining seasoning with rice and ate it. That doesnt mean the amount is small. I felt like I was wasting the remaining seasoning, so I mixed it with rice and ate it all, even though I was full. I ordered Kkanpunggi and Sweet and Sour Pork because I thought they were too common. The Rajogi was crispy and delicious! I heard a lot about this place from my friends as a good restaurant, but it was even more delicious than I expected. And friendly staff! Its the best. While paying, he even recommended that I must try the shrimp dish, chadol jjamppong, and Sichuan jjajang next time! So, I will definitely try the menu you recommended on my next visit. Luran!! Highly recommended!
The best Korean chinese restaurant
Its been a while since I went to Luran, and both the food and service were the best. It was a happy evening. thank you
There was no waiting on Friday night... Sweet and sour pork, Nagasaki Jjamppong, soybean paste... Typical Chinese food... The sweet and sour pork was thick enough to feel a bit excessive, but it was good because it didnt smell like pork.
I ordered Jjajang Jjamppong Sweet and Sour Pork. I asked for the noodles to be raw. The noodles were so sticky that they became rice cakes, and after boiling, they became like sujebi. The black bean noodles were too sweet and the sweet and sour pork tasted a bit fishy. If you want to use raw noodles when submitting, ask them to sprinkle a lot of flour on them. The taste is average and the noodles are so very disappointing.
Sweet and sour pork doesn t smell like pork at all! Whats a bit disappointing is that the sweet and sour pork/kkanpunggi/noodles are not seasoned at all, so theyre bland unless you eat a lot of sauce. I also tend to eat bland food, but the seasoning is boring compared to other Chinese restaurants? Even when eating sweet and sour pork with sauce, you want to dip it in salt. The soybean paste itself tastes less like chunjang than regular soybean paste, and as the person below said, if you order raw noodles, they come in a raw dough and you have to sprinkle a lot of flour on them, but when you get home and look at the noodles, they dont come together well. The person taking phone orders is very friendly and the restaurant is as clean as the food!
The service was great. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered the Jjajangmyeon, Jjamppong, and sweet and sour pork set, and the sweet and sour pork was really big, so I packed it to go! The food was delicious too
Best Korean food in town! :)
Its delicious haha. Everyone ate it up deliciously and the sweet and sour pork wasnt too hard and was just the right amount of crunchy I order delivery from here a lot and its always delicious hahaha I dont have a picture, but my favorite is actually the jjamppong haha. It was very nice! I made clean plates All ate.
So delicious
This is a restaurant that serves Korean Style Chinese dishes which are slightly different from regular Chinese dishes. The building is quite old from outside and from the backdoor access; however, inside of the restaurant is quite clean and well maintained. I like this place as their food is not overly smothered in a sauce for certain deepfried meat dishes such as TangSooYuk, GganPoongKin, etc. I like their GanJjaJiang because of more chargrulled feel of the sauce. There are about 10 parking spots behind the building that are shared with the tenants of the building. When you enter from the back door after parking, make sure to grab a parking voucher located inside the back door. Fill out your license plate number and duration of parking on that sleeve.; and place the sheet on your dash board, so your car wont be towed just in case. Plus, there are plenty of curb side parkings available as this area is located near the trail pass and a park. Parking: About 8 to 10 free parking right behind the building. Plenty of free street parking on the side. Paid parking in the front of the building.
Family of 4, went to for an early lunch. We ordered combo B which is 1. jajangmyun(black bean noodle), 2. jjambbong(spicy seafood noodle soup) 3.kanpoongki (deep fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce) I loved this restaurant because: 1. The taste and quality of food we had was way better than other Korean- Chinese restaurants with lower price. The seafood was perfectly cooked not over cooked and rubbery. 2. The service from the waitress was exceptional. I personally never seen a server filling up salt, pepper and other condiment in an Asian restaurant during their down time. The server was very attentive but not overbearing. She knew what we wanted even before we asked. This is my familys new go-to Korean-Chinese restaurant.
Its plentiful
Excellent food and service. Came for husband s birthday. Will be back
It s a delicious restaurant haha
Combo items are available for a larger group. Very competitive quality of food available.
Clean and spacious. Jjamppong was a tad too spicy for me, but my wife loved it. Authentic dishes and kind waitress. Definitely will visit again.
We ordered Combo A, the servings of the food were big enough for 2 and the food was delicious.
Good service, food was great
Personally, it was better than the place in Surrey.
The owner and employees were all friendly and delicious.
I had lunch with friends on the last Saturday of this year, and the combo set recommended by the server and soy sauce was so delicious and friendly that I had a great time.
A friendly and delicious Korean-style Chinese restaurant. Wide spacing and friendly staff make it comfortable.
Great taste and huge portions. Best Korean food out of Korea.
Overall, the food was delicious.
Such a really good
2nd visit. Of all the Chinese restaurants Ive been to in Burnaby and Coquitlam, Samseon Jjamppong was the best. I especially liked the crunchy yam ^^;
Friendly staff, quick service, great value and delicious food!
Update: Never Coming Back again. I rather drive out to Hee Rae Dueng on North Road. Highly recommend Avoiding Take-out. Ordered 5:50pm, told 6:30pm, had to wait 25min. Left 6:55pm. Started eating 7:05pm (live close by) 3 Dishes Ordered, Waste of $55 *Food was cold and stale* *Breading 75% / Meat 25%* Absolutely ridiculous!! Past Post: Been here a few times, definitely tastes good. Sweet & Sour Pork and Jajangmeon are my favorites! Not a fan of the Seafood Fried Rice... Too oily
Highly recommend sweet and sour pork! It was the best sweet and sour pork I had in Canada. The taste reminds me of a Korean restaurant. The sauce is a personal preference, so I really liked the sweet and sour pork without the sauce. The price is not expensive either.
A place where I occasionally order submissions. Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong are always okay to eat, but I think sweet and sour pork and Kkanpunggi are a hit or miss. Some days, its crispy and delicious, like it was just fried, but on other days, its tough and not very tasty, like it was fried once, left for a while, and then fried again... I dont know if its the difference between a busy weekend and a leisurely weekday, but whenever it tastes bad, I feel like I want to eat it again for a while. I dont hear anything... I guess its fortunate that the waitresses are always friendly. If the service was uneven, I would hesitate to go.
Nice place for Korean Chinese restaurant!!
If you are finding real Korean Chinese. Here is the answer. Best K-Chinese restaurant in Vancouver for sure.
Honestly, its okay. The two of us went and ate jajangmyeon and jjamppong, and the taste was okay. Hygiene and friendliness are acceptable. I dont think Ill go again.
This is a restaurant that leaves you satisfied with everything from the delicious food, friendly and friendly staff, and calm atmosphere. Ive been to almost every K-Chinese restaurant in Vancouver, and I thought the one in Surrey was the best, but now I have to change my mind. Now Im going to Luran.
My go to korean place in town. Jjambbong soup is delicious. Update 4/14/2023 : They upped their game! Everything tasted better, and their service is pretty good too. Jajjangmyun ( ) Jamppong ( ) Tangsuyuk ( ) Dumpling ( ) Stir fried rice( ) Is my top recommendation.
I go to this place often... Its so delicious and the staff are so friendly that I always feel good. The food is great and the service is great!!
Its a hearty and delicious sweet and sour pork.
Cream shrimp and palbochae are delicious. Jjajangmyeon is slightly sweet.
Only the Jjajang (no meat was visible) was a little salty, the Jjambbong was delicious, but there wasnt much seafood, the cream shrimp was soggy, and the batter for the Kkanpunggi was too big. Still, the taste overall wasnt bad. The water cup is too small to drink... I wonder how many times I poured it...
Unpretentious authentic Korean food, delicious
Good good good Parking lot is small so park in the neighborhood
I visited here for the first time few days ago, I called ahead and asked for the food to be prepared by the time we get there because my children were very hungry and they did not want to wait. Thankfully they were able to accommodate my request and table was all set up by the time we arrived. We ordered basic dish (Tang soo yuk, Jjajang myun, Jjampong) and they were all very delicious! Also staff were very friendly and professional! I will definitely visit again and try other dish on the menu! Kid-friendliness: I went with not one, but 3 kids and they had high chairs and space for my stroller ready. They also have a spacious bathroom and a diaper changing table! (Which not many Korean restaurants have in my experience).
it is definitely one of the best restaurants where do their prices right and also mark my words, their portions are literally humongous that i had to keep talking about it which ended up making my mom annoyed. photos are so bad bc we were busy feasting n forgot to take one beforehand on top of that servers are really attentive!! hehe would come back
Tasty but lacking, for example cheap on the meat and seafood in the dishes and all the deep fried dishes now seem to me mostly cornstarch vs protein. Not like when they opened and probably our last trip back here.
Very good food, but many times difficult to order. First, the menu on the website is presented as a photo gallery, very hard to read details (on Mac at least). Not possible to order online and ordering over the phone comes with surprises: just ordered a 63 and received a 53 (totally different thing). I feel like the the tip that is requested upfront at pick up was definitely not deserved today. I will be happy to update the review to 5 star as soon as you will make ordering friendlier for people not speaking Korean. Edit: the service got better.
Food is delicious and the staffs are friendly.
Free coffee service was good also the food was delicious and relaxing songs playing in the background was fantastic I really recommend ruran
Food is great and their service is the best. One of my favorite place in poco!
Best Food! Best Staff! Exellent service with SMILE
Chicken is so good. Hard to find anything else like it in town. Service is good just hit the button and someone will attend to you shortly. Asahi on tap! 5/5 on the atmosphere. Its lively, family oriented atmosphere. Parking: Parking in the back. More parking in the front but limited and only an hour but free.. Parking across the street is 3 hours and free.
We have had several great experiences at this location. Our most recent visit was a really great time. Our server was cheerful and quick and the food was delicious. Everytime we try something new is better than last favorite dish. We will be back many times.
One of our favorite places in the Tri-cities. I personally think the fried rice is really great. My husband loves the fried chicken with sweet spicy sauce. We probably come once a month because of how good / affordable it is. Great service.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, a strong stench like rotten mussels bothered me. When ordering food, we were told that the menu we wanted to eat would take more than 40 minutes, so we asked if it would be okay. There werent many customers in the restaurant, but there were a lot of orders. Because we were hungry, we felt like we were being forced to order something we didnt like, which wasnt pleasant. The food that came out was salty and the portion size was much smaller than before (the cabbage salad was less than a spoonful, so much so that it would be embarrassing to even imitate it), so we were disappointed once again. I have decided not to come to this restaurant again.
Friends brought me out to try this restaurant. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good! Parking is at the back and grab a parking pass when you enter in the back.
Food is a 3 and portion is a 5. The fried pork has lot of fatty part in each strip which ruins the experience.
Beef Jjamppong is a tasteless art. The portion of fried rice is quite large. The kkanpunggi is spicy and the sweet and sour pork is quite delicious as the fries are thin and the meat is thick. Other than that, the taste of the rest of the menu, including jjajangmyeon and yusanseulbab, is average, and the servers are also friendly.
Eat lunch
I don t like sweet and sour pork, but the sweet and sour pork here is really delicious. Jjambbong is also perfect. Friendly service also provides comfort.
Good food and good service.
good korean Chinese styled food. jjajangmeun, jjampong etc first time there and I tried their Jjajangmeun, jampong, ganpoongi, fried rice and they were all good. theres free parking across the street place is very clean and tidy. the mood is very westernized. I recommend
Jjamppong, Jjamppong rice is delicious Sweet and sour pork is really delicious Parking: There is a parking lot behind the store. You must fill out a parking ticket.
It was delicious and plentiful, and all the servers were friendly, making it a fun family meal.
As soon as we entered the entrance, the friendly servers greeted us with bright smiles and warm greetings, leaving us feeling very happy! Because of the cold weather, I wanted to drink warm tea, but as soon as I sat down, they prepared warm tea to warm my cold body and looked at the menu. We tend to take a really long time to choose the menu, but they waited without feeling burdened and kindly told us which part to choose. Please carefully ask if you are worried. In this case, I recommend this, in other cases, I recommend this! He recommended it so professionally that I trusted it and ordered it! I ordered a total of 3 dishes: sweet and sour pork, jjamjja noodles, and mapo tofu rice bowl. The prices were very reasonable and really... they were really, really delicious, but the post would be too long to write about them all one by one, so Ill just sum it up in one word: it was the most delicious Chinese food Ive had since coming to Canada. What should I eat for dinner tonight? For those of you who are worried and reading the reviews, dont worry and just run to Ruran I had a very happy dinner! thank you!
Delicious and cheap. wide.
Sweet and sour pork is the best here in Vancouver.
I went there yesterday. The food was so clean and delicious, especially the sweet and sour pork. ^^ The people working there were so kind that I had a pleasant meal. I recommend it!!
A place where you can eat delicious food anytime.. The employees are friendly too... Its also fun to stamp coupons...
Best korean style chinese food Ive had in vancouver in a long time. Would visit again.
It was delicious even though it was packaged~~~~~^^ The portion is generous and the jjamppong is clean, so I like it~~
Thank you for the always friendly service and delicious food^^
Great place for some Korean food. I recommend the combos, which are great for 3 to 4 people. The meat portion is so big and you will definitely pack some home! Its worth your money. Food is delicious. Servers are really nice and friendly. Highly recommended.
If I order lamb skin through submission or delivery, will it all come mixed?? It didnt even have mustard sauce, so I thought I might have missed it because I was busy, so I just ate it. Still, the taste deserves 5 stars~~!
We really enjoy this homey little Korean-Chinese restaurant. The Korean-style sweet and sour pork is good, the price is reasonable and the combos with jajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) and jampong (spicy seafood noodles) are the way to go. Plenty of parking nearby which is always important for me.
Waited 15 mins for a menu, Meat was a lot of portion but it wasn t delicious. It was just a lot of fried meat. My dish was spicy seafood noodle, but it was more like spicy onion noodle . I didn t find much seafood in there. Don t believe me then try ordering the combo A.
Good asian foods & good price...
The portion was awesome and tasted really good. Deeply appreciated a great service from the waitress.
Gonna visit more when I get chances. All menus I ordered were so tasty and amazing.
If you have nothing to do and want to waste 2 hours on dinner, then this is it. My friends and I had made a reservation for 11 people for 6:30, and while we got our appetizers quickly. It all went downhill from there. We had to go up and ask for more water several times. 5 of us got our meals, 30 mins later and then the other 3 got their meals another 15 mins later and the last 3 of us ( me included) waited a total of 1 and 15 mins for fried rice.......yeah fried rice.......no apologies or anything. So yeah we packed up our fried rice, cuz the rest of the party was done eating. I understand its Saturday and its busy, but then if you cant handle the big parties then dont accept them beforehand. Food was great, but not enough to waste 2 hours....safe to say, my friends and I will not be returning to this place again. It was the fact they didnt apologize to any of us. The good food does not make up for the terrible service and the slow service.
Its korean style Chinese restaurant located poco downtown area. They have combo menus and price is very reasonable compared to North road area(Korea town). There are parking spots at rear. I recommend this restaurant for people who dont like long lineup and do like Tangsuyuk( Sweet and sour pork).
Good
The noodles are moderately chewy and very delicious. Its nice to have a Chinese restaurant not far from my house.
It tastes like an old Chinese restaurant or a bit of an old Korean restaurant. A comfortable taste without being too spicy. The sweet and sour pork is large and plentiful, and the batter is thin, so pouring the sauce over it is recommended. Friendly staff, spacious space, parking is located at the back of the store, but there are not many spaces.
Ever worst place . I ordered lunch for to go. When I brought the food they missed one menu Even I asked all food are ready the staff answered all are in one bag. Also they have my no. After I left they knew their mistake. But didn t call me .after I checked call the store the staff said I didn t pick up my food. WTF she must say their mistake and do apologize but didn t. I won t recommend . Worst service .
The food tasted so good It was always delicious and the staff was friendly.
Very delicious lunch that I had with good service from the waitress.
The combo is great and the wife is kind to me. It was so good
Love the quality of food and good portion. Great location and parking space as well.
Jajang noodles are great here, good spot for poco peeps. Still under $10 which is tough to find these days.
Great portion size, unanticipatedly affordable for Chinese fusion these days, food was fantastic, everything that was supposed to be crispy was very crispy and fresh tasting. I am rating 5*, it was very clear to me the lady at the counter was trying her best despite very high volume of to-go orders and accommodating over 5 tables. EDIT: Went back on the weekend and it was even better than the Wednesday I went last. It appears they have more support staff on the weekends and it was a great experience again.
Good
I wish the jjamppong was a little more seasoned~ Monday business hours have changed to 3:30.
My friends recommended it to me so I took it and it was delicious. A bad start from Monday thanks to unfriendly service..
When I ordered jjamppong rice for delivery, I checked to ask for utensil, but they didnt give me cutlery, only chopsticks. Fortunately, I was able to find a spoon and eat it, but please be more careful next time~
Even though I went late, they took my order kindly and it was delicious.
The taste is exactly like that of a Chinese restaurant in Korea!! The sweet and sour pork is crispy and the jajangmyeon is delicious. I especially like the huge amount of fried rice!
Great place for Chinese Korean food. Foods are really fresh and crunch fried food. Taste is good as well.
I bought the sweet and sour pork set, and the sauce for the sweet and sour pork was not too spicy and was delicious. Jjajang Jjamppong is also good
The food overall was delicious. The fried rice was especially plentiful and delicious. The batter for the sweet and sour pork was a bit thick and the air conditioning system was a bit disappointing as I had no choice but to eat it while sweating in the hot weather. It was also nice that everyone was friendly.
The worst Jajangmyeon I ve ever had. Not enough sauce and too light! Also all I could taste from the spicy/sweet deep fried chicken was just the flour. Not enough seasoning, plain, and no taste. Had to throw away half of them. I don t think I can eat here even if I were to get paid to do so.
Friendly and kind and good food
Authentic Korean food.
It was delicious. Ganjjajang was delicious.
Yesterday, I went to eat with my family at lunchtime, and the hall was Even though it was busy, I had a great time thanks to the friendly service and delicious food. Thank you^^
Delicious
I ate the Kkanpunggi combo and fried rice togo, but the Kkanpunggi was small and made up of clothes, and the meat was overcooked to the point where it wasnt chewy..... Im so disappointed that the owner has changed. The kids didnt eat anything other than fried rice. I hope to return to the delicious Ruran it once was....
Even though it was full because it was a weekend, I was satisfied because the speed of food and the taste were so good. May you prosper!
Only place I go for Korean Chinese food
Delicious, friendly, and good price
Personally, I think Rurin is good for light meals like Jjajang, Jjamppong, and sweet and sour pork. Its not as expensive as other places and the portions are generous. It tastes good too haha.
Delicious Korean-Chinese food. Their sweet and sour pork along with jjajangmyeon is bomb. Please note: The menu on their website is old. The number corresponding to the new menu will be off if you go by their website menu. That made it extremely difficult to order last time and they didnt seem to understand that I was hinting they should update the menu on their website for new/old customers.
Good place for Chinese dishes, especially korean
A place with both taste and friendliness
My kids favorite place to eat
Good parking place at backyard... We ordered A combo... 1. Tang Soo Yuk +1. JJam bbong +1. Gan JJa jang. Very delicious and good serving Economy price. Kid-friendliness: Good
Love their Nagasaki jjambbong.. will definitely go back to try other menus.
Ordered online few times, never been disappointed. So tastyyyyy
Ok foods, cozy little dining room. Waitress is friendly and helpful.
Ive been to this place often since it first opened, and the taste hasnt changed much so its not bad, but the servers are very rude and unfriendly. There is absolutely no eye contact with customers, which is the basis of serving. Its a pity that the owner seems to have lost his original intention. It feels like a good weekend lunch was gone.
unfriendly
In this area, lulan is the best Korean style Chinese restaurant. Good foods, good service perfect!!!!!
I think this place has the best sweet and sour pork in Vancouver. Chewy glutinous rice exterior, thick meat, generous portions... its the best. The black bean paste and jjamppong were spicy and delicious, and the yusan seulbab I ordered last time was also delicious. Chef, I want to scout for Korea. I plan to visit once a week while I am in Vancouver.
Good
Authentic Korean style Chinese food.
Rather than tasteless The taste changes every time I go. Sometimes its salty. Sometimes its bland... It might be delicious Id rather go somewhere else, even if its far away.
Nice affordable Vietnamese food
