Authentic European cuisine, fresh, local ingredients, made from scratch, Polish and Western European food
****AVOID AT ALL COSTS**** I was really excited to try Izba, given its reputation for authentic Polish cuisine, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. First, the service was extremely slow. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, our server seemed disinterested and hardly checked on us. We had to flag them down multiple times just to get basic things like water refills. The food, which I was looking forward to the most, was underwhelming. The pierogi were bland, lacking any real flavor or seasoning, and the filling was far too dry. The borscht was greasy and tasted more like something that had been reheated multiple times rather than freshly made. It was also way too salty, which made it hard to finish. The manager/owner, when I raised my concerns, was dismissive and unhelpful. Rather than apologizing or offering a solution, they seemed indifferent to our experience. It’s always frustrating when management doesn’t take feedback seriously, and it only made the situation worse. It felt like they weren’t interested in improving their service or maintaining customer satisfaction. Overall, I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places offering better Polish food and a much more welcoming dining experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Delicious food freshly cooked from scratch, awesome atmosphere, superb customer service. The best place to have Christmas party as well as small gatherings. Highly recommend 😊
We ate here as we stayed at the hotel for work, and I may come back to try some of the other menu items, based on the compliments of the others in the group. The server was pleasant, as well as enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his menu recommendations. He was courteous about checking in and giving us space for our meeting. The seating was comfortable, and even when it got busy at dinnertime, the ambient noise level still leant to easy conversation.
We were staying at the Poco Inn for several days and we decided to try Izba. We had gone once last year for breakfast and wanted to try other things on the menu this time. Food is absolutely amazing here. Service was excellent. We dined in and did take out a few times. We can't wait to come back to dine in when we visit BC again. The Pork Hock was amazing and I had to order it twice.
I have driven by this place so many times and wanted to try it. Really glad I finally did and you should too! Had the platter for 2 and it came with everything in the picture for 47$ (2 potatoe pancakes that are so crispy and delicious, polish sausage, a huge amount of perogies with lots of chopped bacon and sausage to go with it, 2 large cabbage rolls, salad, and some kind of carrot mango salad) me and my wife both left stuffed and our baby even had his fill too! It was so delicious and you can tell everything is home cooked with care! I highly recommend it!
We visited Izba last week and while it's a regular in our family gtg's I'd be remiss if I didn't brag about this terrific PoCo restaurant, with its cosy, modern, diner feel. They have booths and tables and they can easily accomodate large groups. I am hearing sensitive and I find the noise volume in this restaurant to be perfect for my needs. I can hear my company's conversation, while not being too quiet. It's a great place to eat & catch up with family or friends. While they have a terrific breakfast & dinner menu, we usually visit at lunch. While we've tried many delicious items (shout out to their pierogies, schnitzel & cream of carrot soup!) we tend to have our favourites on their menu. Their chicken tacos are a huge hit with our family, although I lean towards their chicken club sandwich myself. Yum! And for the late in the day breakfast lover amongst us, the brie & berries stuffed french toast is ah-mazing. This is a great lunch spot with great service and great food. We love this local gem.
The schnitzel here is super crispy and tasty. The coleslaw is so different from what I’m used to but very delicious. The Reuben had a good amount of sauerkraut and wasn’t greasy. The borscht soup is a MUST have! Service was spot on and the place was very clean. Can’t wait to go back and try more off the menu.
It was our first time at Izba Bistro and we loved it! Our server Brenda was great! She was nice, attentive but also let us sit for awhile. Food was excellent. We started with the battered brie that came with fruit and a spicy berry compote. I then had the spinach and feta chicken and it was SO good. I loved that it came with spaghetti squash as well. You don't see that too often. My partner had the Vienna schnitzel with an egg on top. My partner being Austrian said it was different than what he's used to, but still enjoyed it. Lastly we had the sacher Austrian chocolate cake and that was also really fantastic! We definitely will be coming back soon!
Had the best omelette ive had in years. Definitely try the Krakow omelette when you go.
Cool
Bit slow. Food was expensive for what you get, in my opinion. The schnitzel was good though. My girlfriend loved the short rib stew - reminded her of home.
I have been hearing about this place you got to try this place great food reasonable price sure ok!but yes it s true and more.the food the service and and the atmosphere yes you must go you will not be disappointed. I finally found the place for my polish fix wait till you see the size of the schnitzel everything fresh yes fresh
Amazing food and service.
Perfect service Flavourful meals Food
Our server Juliet was so warm and friendly!! Thanks Juliet for the great experience and recommendations. Also best cheesecake Ive ever had.
Juliet was a fantastic server who made our night :)
Excellent Schnitzel and cheesecake. We ordered the Vienna dinner Schnitzel, which was not on the lunch menu - definitely recommend this combo.
Honestly the best breakfast Ive had in a while. The service is great, from the staff and the management. Portions are a great size and definitely very cheap. $16 for an omelette with toast and potatoes, you could have easily charged $22! Ill definitely be back. I highly recommend these guys!
Hour long wait for entrees with little to no updates. The restaurant claimed it was very busy, but honestly it was exactly at capacity or anything; no busier than usual on a Friday evening anywhere else. Service was pretty, their front of house was rushing around, bussing tables without touching base. Dishes were just dropped off without clearing empty plates. I thought they had someone call in sick or something but they said they werent understaffed. Overall poor experience, soggy food, inattentive/dismissive staff.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Highly recommend
We were pleased to find this place! We had breakfast and the portions were good size , tasted great, and service was very friendly. We will make this a regular go to now! Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu.
Really great food, excellent service. The saurkraut tasted like my moms. Authentic perogies. Veru clean & inviting. Will definitely return.
I think the food is of high quality, very flavorful. Vegetarian options: Surprisingly enough there are a couple of vegetarian options! Food : 5/5 |
Amazing food and service
Michael was an amazing server
Really nice place, loved the short ribs Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free options Food : 5/5 |
We decided to try this place for a late family dinner from our way back from an outing. Our server was bubbly, very friendly, however she talked a little bit too loud and had a very expressive boisterous laugh, so you could hear her wherever she was in the restaurant, who she was talking to, and what every table was ordering, Lol. It was semi busy when we arrived around 7pm. The kids menu is really expensive which I found surprising. Like $18 for chicken fingers. I had the turkey dinner which I thought was tasty and had typical fixings on the side. Unfortunately, it took over an hour to get our food, which the server apologized for, but the food arrived Luke warm so that was a little disappointing. Overall, I found the prices a bit on the high side, especially for the kids meal, and the atmosphere doesnt match the prices on the menu. its doesnt feel like an upscale restaurant. Its very casual and family friendly, which is nice, as we had a kid with us, but I have higher expectations when prices are high. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome
I was excited to try some polish food because Im polish myself but unfortunately I wont be coming back. Pierogi were definitely frozen and fried instead of being cooked in hot water, they were super dry. Pyzy (pork stuffed potatoes dumplings) with mushroom sauce were decent enough. The server was not great, when we asked for pyzy he tersely replied potatoe dumplings? We said yes, pyzy. He said Im not polish, I dont know. We said its right here on the menu. Also when I asked whats the difference in the price of the three pierogi options he said more pierogies obviously but he didnt say how many comes with what price. Very poor service. Hes probably in the wrong job or maybe he was covering for someone else that evening.
Update: Ive been happy coming here for over 4 years now. Service is amazing and the food is delicious! Old Post: An absolute Gem! Borscht Soup is a must try. The flavor is incredible! Had the Chicken Schnitzel Burger as well. I will likely plan to come eat here every weekend or every other weekend if my schedule allows! The staff really cares and it shows! Thank you! 5 stars!
The Food was amazing. The Service was exemplary and the Atmosphere met up to the expectations that were implied.
Delicious turkey dinners! Everything was perfect on that plate! Quick delivery. Thank you
We have dined at Izba on several occasions and it has been amazing every time. The food is delicious and the staff and service are excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of options and I have enjoyed everything on the menu i have tried. We have brought friends here and they have always been super impressed. Izba is a must try - you wont be disappointed!
This restaurant is the real deal. It is unpretentious and the food is made from scratch with the real ingredients. Run by a delightful Polish couple who are often onsite and are obviously committed to the consistent quality of the food they serve. We have been impressed every single time.
Really good polish food, had one of the best cheese cakes in my life afterward. Will be back often.
Pirogies and borscht are incredible, would highly recommend.
We love supporting local but unfortunately after trying it THREE times to make sure it wasn t an off day, it s clear that it wasn t. Service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best (I m being kind).
Paid $19.00 for six dry, flavourless perogies. They tasted as though they had been sitting out on the counter for hours. Very disappointed in the food quality, flavour, and portion size.
Took a LONG time for the food to come
Randomly stumbled upon this place on google maps and didn t get disappointed. Their borscht and pierogies were delicious. We will be back for more!
Really good food and service. Def. worth your time
Delicious polish food, smoked Pork hocks and a order of Schnitzel. Nice atmosphere. Server was very nice and professional.
Four of us each had different meals and all were excellent. Parking: This location has always been difficult to get in and out of, but, being attached to a motel, theres usually space. Food : 5/5 |
We had breakfast almost every day here while on our trip. Service was great, waitstaff was kind and accommodating of food allergies, and the food was always high quality. This will definitely be a spot we continue coming back to whenever were in PoCo!
Great comfort food all around. From a mothers day brunch to a nice dinner out with friends, you can find it here. Even brought the kids (4 mos. and 3.5 y/o - lots of family friendly options (to share... Or not). Everything on the menu is delicious, and dont forget a cup of borscht!
It took +- 45 min after ordering for our food to come to our table. Its pricey. Our server was good but she was run off her feet. Probably short staffed.
Dont let the external look of an old Dennys put you off. Fabulous breakfast with polish favs...left full..wait staff are exceptional.
This is place is kind of a sleeper hit. You barely know its there from the highway and may just dismiss it as an ABC or Pantry type restaurant. However, the food is European and unique. I need to go back and sample more of the menu, but the brunch we had was above average. Reasonable prices and some great food you cant easily find elsewhere. Very pleasantly surprised for a family restaurant!
Great Service, awesome food and the best cheesecake Ive ever tasted
Love the breakfast/brunch here. The breakfast tortillas are my go to. Perfectly crispy tortillas, melted cheese, perfectly bite size meat and tomatoes. Served with salsa and sour cream with choose of potatoes or tomatoes. The Mimosas are also very good. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot. Service & food is 10/10.
First and last time I come here. Ordered Hungry man breakfast and left hungry. Even had extra two pieces of toast. Jam in serving size packs was moldy. Server was pleasant though. Had always wanted to try this place, my curiosity is satisfied.
Great Food. Great Service
The platter, beef short rib, and borscht at this restaurant are absolutely delicious! Our meals here never fail to impress us, always leaving us happy and satisfied. On our recent visit, the exceptional service truly stood out, going above and beyond our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a fantastic dining experience!
Best food in PoCo Try the pork hock or the pyzy Food
Great hidden gem. Lots of European favorites dishes. Quiet and quaint. Great service.
I enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the place. Our server was flawless.
Its good
This was my first time at Izba and I was pleasantly surprised. I shared the platter for two with a friend and it was ample food. The cabbage rolls were amazing and the perogies were a close second. We stayed for a while and didn t feel rushed and had consistent service. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. I would definitely go again.
This place exceeded all of my expectations. Everything that we ordered was fresh and delicious, with accents that take the taste to the next level. Will definitely come back again.
Great ambeince.
Amazing meals. We had the pork cabbage rolls and braised short ribs and then home made cheesecake. Wow
I had salmon tacos and a side of salad! Just Divine! Quality Meals! Staff are always warm and lovely
The borscht soup and perogies were excellent!
as a level 7 local guide, i new this place was good. the food was cool and good and cool. and i had a fun time
Had an excellent Polish meal here. Food was hot and delicious. Service was also fast and friendly. Definitely follow the recommendations on the menu. If we ever stay near by again we will be back. Food
Amazing, homemade style, comfort food. Highly recommend trying the platter for two to try a sampling of their Polish food.
Great staff . Wonderful food.
delicious lunch options
My husband and I went for dinner on march 24 at 7pm the place was so inviting we started off with a couple of potato pancakes they were so delicious. The main course for me was pesto penne with prawns served with garlic bread so delicious. My husband had Cajun chicken penne with prawns served with garlic bread he said it was delicious.
The Polish food in particular is fantastic! Definitely not your typical restaurant-in-a-hotel fare. The perogies in particular are amazing!
Food is delicious and server staff are great.
Very rude staff and impolite Very disappointed Service
hungarian paprika goulash (24) / hunters stew bigos (25) / braised beef short rib (29)
Amazing well priced friendly service, went there for a birthday lunch with 14 people, cant say enough how amazing they were how good the food was
Great perogies but expensive
THE BEST Eggs Benedict, potato pancakes and cheesecake!! Service varies but for the most part good. Nice environment and family friendly For all ages. Food
Everything was good Vegetarian options: Was delicious Food : 4/5 |
This is my first time trying Polish food, and it was delicious. Food was on the table within 5 minutes of sitting down. The borscht was hearty and full of flavour, and the curry sausage had just the right combination of savoury, sweetness, and smokiness. The potato pancakes are a bit oily and could be seasoned more, but everything was excellent overall.
We had a birthday dinner here for my mother with 29 guests. The staff at Izba was fantastic accommodating us and the food was excellent!
We didnt really enjoy our experience there. I tried to offer feedback via their contact form on the restaurants website but have not heard back so far.
Pork knuckle and dumplings
Really nice spot, prompt service, quality food, and feels like home.
Great homemade food . Everything taste amazing but sometime there is a little bit of a wait for your food. I guess if you are making it from scratch then that is understandable.
3 of us for dinner, 2 dinners cold, waiter never came back the entire time we were eating. We had to walk up and get our bill, when we told our waiter we were very displeased with the food and the service he said we should have said something! I said how could we, this is the first time we saw you since you dropped off our cold dinners!!!! 3 chances 3 failures we will never be back!!!
Polish and European food, the servers were attentive and all food we had was beyond delicious. Highly recommend borscht, beef goulash, bigos, cabbage rolls and pyzy. Portions are generous as well.
I cannot get enough of the Izba meatloaf! It seems like a family run restaurant, sometimes it takes a good 10 to 15 mins to flag down a server. The food always hits the spot for me, and I will continue to go here.
I got lost and ended up here! A favorable place to end up after a traumatic experience. Leonard was most helpful and kind. I did not get to eat but the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked and smiled amazing. I cant wait to come back with my daughter and enjoy this restaurant. I highly recommend it if youre in the neighborhood! .
The polish burger was simply amazing and the cabbage roles were so delicious my wife said they taste like they were home made . This is definitely a hidden Gem you should go try out !!!!
Great food. Friendly environment. Good prices.
Wonderful meal with my friend for his bday. Good CS with the host, Michael great waiter good attention to detail. Delicious quality food my Chicken SCHNITZEL delicious! Highly recommend as great variety on the menu.
The food is delicious and the service is very good. I loved it
Had the perogies and they were awesome.
They are consistently great in service and in the quality and flavour of their dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great Polish food in the Greater Vancouver Area!
Friendly staff schnitzel by itself would have been too dry but with a side of mushroom sauce made the real difference. Cheesecake was great as well
I clearly asked for a non alcoholic beer. The beer was amazing and I was planning on finding some to buy to have at home. I had 1.5 drinks before realizing I was served alcohol. Very disappointed. Not offered any discount, they didnt even take the beer off the bill!! Terrible.
Service is good, food taste fantastic
Reasonably good food Parking: Joined w Poco Inn Hotel Food : 3/5 |
One of the best places to visit. Friendly staff, reasonable prices . Thanks everyone Food : 5/5
Food was average serive was good tho.
It was a great meal
It alright.
We went there just one time before and we were not impressed, but we gave it another try. Still not impressed at all and will not go back again. Welcoming and service very good, as well as general atmosphere, but we came here to eat and the food was disappointing. We took platter for two for $44. If you call it platter for 2, you should have enough food for 2 regular size people, not just a tiny bit oversized food. And come on, only one extra small salad served in a tiny cup?! Ok, at least we wont become obese with these portions. Then food itself: presentation on the plate hmmm...ugly. Potatoes pancakes burnt, perogies hard, sausage ok but like everything else in the plate not even warm. 1 tasty thing were the 2 cabbage rolls, unfortunately not enough to bring us back here. Dennys does the same or even better for 1/2 the price... I feel sorry for you guys. No hard feelings though, i know we are living in difficult times
Amazing food - havent had a bad meal here ever. Authentic delicious Polish favorites to die for. Food
I had one egg Benny fresh and one that was hard and the sauce curdled. I got sick afterward. Will not go back. Parking: A ton of free parking Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible
Great place! I need to start going here more often.
Always fabulous, the short rib dinner is outstanding. The only downside is they use styrofoam containers to pack leftovers in :-(
Food and service were average. A few of us ordered coffee with our meals, and no refill was offered throughout the time we sat there.
We love Izba, it is one of go-to places for breakfast and dinner. The food is always amazing, we love the crab cake bennys, the perogies, the brie bites, so many others. The staff are also always friendly and attentive, and its such a nice environment.
After driving past this place so many times, I finally decided to try it. I ordered the perogies appitizer. They had a good amount of filling and tasyed great. I ordered Goulash for my main and it was delicious.
My family eats here once a week and we have told so many others about this place that they go and frequent as well. It s homemade, always so fresh and the service is amazing. So lucky to have found this gem.
I loved this restaurant great food for good price and shard some great memories there but due to the owners letting a staff member that loved her job and was the best at her job was forced to leave because of co worker harassment and owners refused to do anything about it so I will no longer be supporting this business and thought people know before supporting this business . LET US STAND FOR NO WORK HARASSMENT!
Delicious food. I strongly recommend visiting!
This is our first time to be at this Bistro. Food is amazing. For sure we will be here again. Food : 5/5
Great place for brunch. Good parking. Nice staff. Food always good & consistent & yummy. Have been here many times and will continue to. Its located with a hotel/motel so not super atmosphere. But highly recommended for meals out in port coquitlam. Parking: Easy parking. Kid-friendliness: Probably easy to accommodate kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Is accessible
Attentive, polite and thoughtful service. Nice environment and very tasty food - some unique and delicious items. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend for a quality breakfast experience.
Went there first time for my brunch with a friend. The owner greeted us as he was there , the staff was very friendly. Service was quick and food tasted amazing. Potatoes pancakes omg I loved it . Thank for the great experience
Delicious Polish and European dishes! My go to place when I feel like a great home cooked meal.
The food is excellent. We were a mix of vegans and meat eaters and we all walked away very satisfied. It was hot, fresh and yummy. I would have given 5 stars accept it takes very long to get your food. This was the third time weve been there. Food is always good, Staff is great but the wait for food is long. We were 45 minutes before we got our food.
We have been to Izba for breakfast many times. It has been one of our favorite places to eat. Unfortunately its the last time well go. The Izba Benny (which Ive had many times) was inedible. I sent it back because the latka was burnt and the eggs were overcooked. It came back in less than 3 minutes with burnt latkes, eggs more cooked than the previous ones. The latkas were so greasy and the holllandaise was, well, I dont know what it was. Both were inedible. All of it was disgusting. Despite complaints we still paid $17 for it. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant.
The best Perogies I ve ever had . Service was wonderful as well.
The food was just incredible. Service was good too. The Borscht was out of this world.
Descent food ,good soft spicy calamari popcorn .Caffe not fresh ,but tasty cabbage rolls with tomato souse! Excellent fresh made green salad bowl . Perogies not so much ,hard and tasteless. In order of service improvement ,I would replace reception person, for someone more friendly and enthusiastic . I should rate it 3 stars .Paid $77 for 2persons shared dish and one appetizer, caffe and a beer .Not cheap ,but enough to feed us ,and left over for a lunch .
Everything was just delicious, service was wonderful!
Staff are lovely.
Great food, The polish breakfast is the best Great service Food
The place is perfectly clean and very comfortable. The service is excellent and fine European cuisine. Thank you!
Second time at Izba Bistro, had the Platter for two. Delicious food just like the first time.
I just had the Borscht, I thought it was very nice, just a little something between meals..
Always great service with lovely staff. Their food is always so delicious whether it s for breakfast or dinner, especially love their potato pancakes they are one of my favourite things on the menu!
Great food, mostly European, slightly fused with North American. Schnitzels, goulash, fish and chips are delicious, portions are big, tap Crombacher beer is good. The place is becoming more and more busy, and its explainable. I would not call it bistro though, its more of a higher category - a good restaurant.
Went for brunch on a Sunday. The place was fairly busy. We waited for almost 40 mins before we asked our server if our food would be out soon. She was very rude in her response. She said they were extremely busy and short staffed. We were very patient until we saw a few patrons that arrived after us and had already received their food. We waited another 10 mins and when the food didnt arrive we got up to leave and the servers yells across the restaurant, that our food was coming out. Maybe she was having a bad day but doesnt excuse her rudeness! Wont be going back.
Delicious food, great service, really enjoyed the Hunters Stew
I love this place, classic breakfast served by good people and great service. My wife and I go there often and this is a real gem Food
Great food, polite attentive service
Amazing food!!! Always a great time! Thank you for making such delicious food!
Love this place! Food is delicious and high quality every time- love the platter for 2 with a bit of everything. Staff are excellent. Kid-friendliness: Kids love it here- staff happy to make substitutions on the kids meal for my picky kiddos
Great place for breakfast. Good portions. Service was very good Vegetarian options: Good selection Food : 4/5 |
not bad
Really good breakfast, childrens menu was good for breakfast. Enjoyed our visit, the server was attentive. Will return. Parking: Easy parking Kid-friendliness: Server was very attentive and friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level, wheelchair accessible
Food is fantastic! Everything we tried was great as a company of 6 people. Service is excellent, they made us feel special. Especially recommend the Cajun chicken with prawns and garlic bread
Yesterday I came to eat breakfast around 11 am when I was parking I noticed one of the staff vaping and spitting in front of the door that totally changed my mood from eating there which is upsetting because I ve come plenty of times before that and enjoyed the food very much
Went for Brunch and had the Potato Pancakes with eggs and Sausage. Best potato pancakes I have had. Crispy and flavourful. Service was great. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
Absolutely outstanding value, very tasty food with a European flair. Hidden litte gem in PoCo.
I got the French toast, and it was amazing. It was a great flavor and was just overall, delicious, with fruit and whipped cream.
I had dinner here last night the best burger I ever ate!! Tonight I got the same thing and omg I almost barfed it s Burnt and super dry. The first bite was even more black I looked like I brushed my teeth with charcoal! I went back and the guy who answered the door said he can t do anything about it it s the same people who cooked it the last night and it s basically my problem now I have to buy dinner from some where else
Food is delicious. Service is slow, but worth the wait.
This Polish European restaurant offers an extensive selection of food and drinks. As a European, I am used to some spicy cuisine, so I notice that this restaurant is very lightly seasoned. I had the beef goulash and can also recommend it. However, the Brussels sprouts can be fried a little longer. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are moderate, the ambience is unfortunately very simple as in many restaurants here in Canada.
This place is a secret Gem in poco. Always good food and cute bistro. The food is always consistent.
Great food, Polish along with various regional European cuisines, good service and an overall pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend
Fantastic food! Loved the perogies. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the service was fast, and friendly. Well definitely be back to try more things. Hard to find food made so well with decent prices these days, so this was a nice surprise. Thank you for having us!!
My friend and I went for brunch had a very nice time. Food was fabulous , service was just as amazing . I had the crab Benny & sliced tomatoes. It was so fantastic.
Wonderful food..very tasty an home made experience...feeling like of years past like your mom or grandma from old county would of cooked up ...
Long wait, poached eggs in a dish had a lot of water in it they weren t drained, sourdough toast was so hard and dry! Potatoes were ok, when we left we asked for a container for one persons left overs the waitress looked embarrassed to say we have them they are 25 cents I almost lol d how petty when you paid close to $45 for the lunch.
A most favorite eatery ! Love the potato pancakes & veggy Benny ? Ohhh so much more
Lovely, tasty, friendly staff, excellent food
Polish food was good at a decent price.
I have been going with my grandmother for years, food is always excellent, service top notch, and cheesecake to die for. The Pasta with Cajun Chicken and Prawns is always amazing.
Wonderful East European home food, perrogies, kielbasa, potato patties, dumplings.....on and on. Not least the delicious on tap beers. And nice fresh salads to accompany. One of us is Ukrainian descent was delighted by his Grandmas flavors. I particularly liked the carrot salad. Wed lovecto have Pierochkies bread dumplings. Thanks .
Delicious Ukrainian and European food. They have a great brunch, lunch, and dinner and Kids menu. Everything is home made. We had the meat dumpling, Schientzel and goulash. Dessert cheese cake!. Lots of parking. Parking: Lots of good size parking spots. Parking lot is not covered. Kid-friendliness: Kid s menu, high chairs. Tables are nice and spread out. No crazy wait times.
Out of the last 5 times I went here, they forgot a whole meal twice, and forgot the chicken on a chicken meal. How do you forget the main protein? Lastly, service has been very slow. Except to wait 45 minutes minimum for your food.
Great food.
Orded a work breakfast with 3 days notice due to miscommunication with HR for who was ordering the meal. I am super thankful they took us on. We had food for 15 and everything was amazing. Eggs benny perfectly prepared (even with travel they were perfect) bacon, sausage french toast hasbrowns omletes! Couldnt have been better. Thank You so much!! Koodoos to the Chef!! He out did my expectations!
