Welcome to DosaNChaatKhazana, where culinary traditions of India converge! Delight in our authentic South Indian Dosa's, crisp and flavorful, alongside a vibrant selection of North Indian Chaat dishes. Experience the best of both worlds in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Come for the food, stay for the experience!
Perfect food every thing they cook with exactly traditional methods love the south Indian food and very nice table service
“We had an amazing Diwali celebration at Dosa N Chaat Khazana! The food was delicious, with a variety of tasty dishes that included Vada Sambar, Paneer Chilli, and Chaat. For the main course, we enjoyed naan, missi roti, dal makhani, and mix veg—all vegetarian and absolutely full of flavor. We also had refreshing mango lassi and soft drinks. They do offer non-vegetarian options as well, though I’m vegetarian so I can’t speak much on that. The ambience was lively, with a big TV that made it fun to dance and enjoy the music, and the cleanliness was spot-on. Highly recommend this spot for Indian Cuisine
We recently hosted a party for a group of 45 people here, and it was an amazing experience! The ambiance was perfect—warm, inviting, and spacious enough to accommodate our large group comfortably. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we all felt welcomed. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options that everyone enjoyed. From appetizers to desserts, each dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. Our guests were delighted, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our celebration. Highly recommended for group gatherings
An Indian chaat and dosa restaurant serving varied, authentic and traditional cuisine. The bright and clean ambience along with the taste of traditional Indian food made this place my Go to for my Desi cravings. You know it’s the real thing when they get the chutney and sambar right and my sambar had drumsticks! Yummy!
Went for dinner and everything we tried tasted authentic !! We tried sambar wada, vada pav and chicken vindaloo dosa and all of them were extraordinary !! Ambience and service were great too!! Highly recommended and will surely visit again ….
Amazing great tasting food, had chicken Dosa and lamb curry, chicken 65 with Chatney appetizer was perfect spice for me. Lamb curry and my son loved chicken dosa for time he said it was epic. One of the best tasting meals I have ever had in Great Vancouver. Ordered take out after to bring home after for dinner and most curreys taste just as good when reheated. Note I took photo and we had already started eating Chicken 65:) Looking forward to more meals here.
We went in for an early dinner and shared Sambar Vada, Mysore Dosa and Chaat dish. Each dish tasted authentic and had different flavours! We also got Kulfi Falooda ( it’s ice cream with milk, vermicelli, other flavours). This restaurant has authentic cuisine from south India. We thoroughly enjoyed our vegetarian dishes! Will be coming back for more!
The masala mojito was so refreshing in the heat wave. I'd come back just to have that again. The dosas were delicious, with well-balanced flavours. This place is a great addition to our neighbourhood. They are also open until 11pm, so this is a nice change from all of the restaurants that close early. Edit: Their AC is stronger than when we first csme, so it is very comfortable inside! Edit 2: Got the Cauliflower 65 and the Lamb Kothu, and both were delicious! We've never had Kothu before. Will definitely get the Cauliflower 65 again!
Food quality is good. Ambience is good. Servers are polite. Service was slow.
Good Vegetarian options: Chole bhathure Food : 4/5 |
Vegetarian options: We had masala dosa, pappdi chat and kadai paneer, which were all quite tasty. I found the quantity to be sufficient. For everyday food, this is a good one. Food
We ordered the onion rava dosa with paneer in butter sauce and a rajkachori chaat. Both were delicious and would highly recommend! Great flavour and quantity. Looking forward to going back and trying their other dosas and chaats!
Love their Dahi puri.
Great place to have Indian food in Port Coquitlam. Vegetarian options: Tried vegetarian dishes Food : 5/5 |
Visited on Nov 28 2024 . Service was great , food was delicious All 3 of us had Dosa . Chai and Ice cream kulfi was amazing . We went for lunch so was not so busy . Will definitely go again .
We ordered Masala dosa, idlis, vada pav, masala tea and it was all fresh and tasty. Server was also good. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: It was mild spicy so good for kids
Came here with the family. Tried pani puri, dahi puri and their family pack biryani. Good food. Service was decent. Prices lightly on the higher side.
Delicious food! I moved to the area two weeks ago and have already ordered five times because the food is great. Vada pav is crisp and tasty, so are the dosas.
Rava dosa, masala dosa, idle are amazing. We visit here first time, awesome experience food was delicious, ambience is great, service was also very good. Overall great experience.
Really good food and good value for the price, they did not skimp on the lamb portions in dosa, bright atmosphere, would go back. However service was very lacking... The waitresses just stood there, werent proactive in taking away empty plates at our small table, offering to pack up or give takeaway boxes for leftovers, didnt even come back once, lack of training perhaps. They werent rude or anything but I had to do or ask for standard things for myself. Still tipped, but I probably deserved the 15% more. Again, food was excellent, no complaints there.
Food was good, quality wise. Ordered the chettinad chicken and bhindi masala. Well cooked chicken, and veggies, and you could tell the preparation was from a good quality kitchen. The chef could do a better job with flavours though. The chettinad chicken and the bhindi masala both tasted like they pretty much used the same tomato gravy. It was the mildest chettinad dish I have had. Still giving a 5 star cause of the ingredient quality and location. Recipe can be improved. Perhaps decreasing the number of items in the menu can make it easier for the chef to focus deeper on each item. I want this restaurant to get better given the lack of better alternatives nearby at the moment. Will try again soon.
Came with my parents and a friend. Great quality food, so many dishes to choose from. Its honestly my first time trying out a dosa; didnt know what it was and they tasted great. This places also lets customers to have lower spiciness in the dishes. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and the 2 veggie samosas. The portions were great. Honestly could just be full with the samosas or the soup alone. I was full and was ready to sleep when I got home. The only small issue we had was the number of plates we got, couldnt fit it all on the table. So I recommend to request the dishes one at a time. Thanks
I m so happy a dosa place opened up in this neighbourhood. I had people over and ordered takeout. The food was hot, fresh, good quality ingredients and so so good. Will definitely be ordering again.
Had an amazing experience celebrating our Diwali party with a group of 45 odd guests, the chef is awesome, servers courteous & always serve with a smile Food is very delicious
I have been here a number of times because of their delicious food and friendly service but recently I had gotten catering done by them for a Diwali party at my house. The food was delicious as always and the cherry on the cake was the owner Pradeep s personal touch by being in touch with me and informing me about everything. Recently, I organized a Diwali party at the restaurant for 45 people and everyone went home so pleased and happy with all the delicious food, service and ambience. Thank you Dosas and Chaat for 2 amazing and unforgettable Diwali get togethers . Now we don t have to go to Surrey for good Indian food!! Thank you
Drove 30 mins only to find out that its not open on Sundays. Edit the business hours to not mislead your customers.
We ordered 1x Gobi Manchurian, 1xChilli Chicken, 1xVeg Noddles and 1xChicken noodles. Every last one of them was surprisingly bland. Like other than the taste of batter and salt, neither the Chilli Chicken or Gobi has any flavor. The portion sizes were great, but there was just a disappointing lack of heat (Green chillies or at least a decent amount of Bell Peppers in the Chilli Chicken) and even garlic seemed to be have been under used. Service was great, folks were polite, and food was well packed. Comparing to Inchin in Surrey, its just a whole different level. I hope we caught them on an off day. Please try to improve!
Finally,We went to this restaurant for dinner tonight and ate veg noodles, chicken Manchurian, khazana special chat and few other dishes . It was great experience . We enjoyed the food and service was also good. Recommend everyone to go there .
If you are missing Indian taste of food in Canada.. must recommended...awesome mouth watering food.. and obviously team is great..
Delicious food and good customer service. Overall, a great dining experience I would recommend!
Amazing food and good customer service, Especially those chat dishes are really delicious.
Great food!
Food is good..I believe south indian will be more decilious..we tried sambar idil..it was really tasty..we yet to try dosa...will hope for good taste...All the best
10/10. Best Dosa i ve ever had. Service was amazing, Sanket got our orders prioritized right away. Food came quick, would recommend to anyone.
Two of us each purchased a dosa for Dinner, the flavor and texture was off, the next day we both had explosive diarrhea. I will be submitting a complaint report to the local health authority.
Great Indian food! The chaat is delicious. Most people in PoCo probably don t know what we now have in our backyard. Try the Golgappa, especially the Dahi Puri. These are an appetizer street food popper full of yogurt sauce, spices, and other tasty ingredients.
Food was good. Service was not so good and the place was really cold. I doubt I will return.
Possibly the best Indian Restaurant in the tri-cities. Both food and service are very good. Comfortable seating arrangement. Sufficient parking facility.
It would not get more authentic than this. Highly recommend
Food was good but it was oily.
Excellent dosas and dahi bhalla. Quality of food was good and taste also good. Very satisfied with the service too. Will definitely come back.
They catered an event for us and gave us really good food in generous quantities. All the guests were raving about the food and were eager to know the name of the restaurant. Hope we sent some new customers your way!
I recently moved to BC, was wondering where to have some tasty food, so I landed here and ordered a pav bhaji, it was delicious. It s a must place to have some good delicacies.
Food is decent. However, their service is god awful. The lack of attention to detail or the lack of care really shows right when you walk into the restaurant or get something delivered. 1. Skip the dish pop price is $6.99, I thought they d give me a 500ml ATLEAST. No, it was a can of pop which is sold in their restaurant for 1/3rd of the price. 2. The butter chicken comes with rice. Pictured in the menu and confirmed when I dined in earlier this month. I ordered an extra rice this time and I received NO rice at all. They replaced it with tawa roti which is not an equivalent replacement. (Delivery) 3. I asked for a Diet Coke and received a regular coke. A reasonable thing to do would ve been to replace it with Diet Pepsi so they re both no sugar.(delivery) The waitress had to be called from the kitchen multiple times when we needed assistance. The waitress did not have knowledge on whether the food will be enough for 3 people or not. (Dine in) PLEASE change the music from sad Indian love songs to something more lively for a dinner and to curate a better atmosphere for your patrons. Super disappointed with the service to say the least.
Celebrated a family birthday here and the food was phenomenal! Everything was super fresh and simply delicious! Although it takes a while to get food, the quality is so good! The rava dosa was crisp and savory. The lamb curry was melt in your mouth. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend trying out this gem!
Super delicious indian food in port coquitlam, very professional chef and super nice staff, thanks
A lovely place, my first time! A new found dosa fav! Give it a try in POCO Sanjana, komal and simran VERY FRIENDLY and kind servers. Food : 5/5
Very flavourful and balanced Indian food ! Love their chaats especially the Raj Kachori have not had this good a Raj kachori anywhere in Canada . Chaats are good . South Indian and Chinese cuisine is also good . Biryani and other meat items can be better but overall food is excellent ! Every weekend for us is a Dosa Chaat weekend !
The food was awesome! Best Dosa Ive had. Space is a little weird but food makes up for it. Vegetarian options: Great veg options separated into different sections from the meat which I appreciate
Extensive menu with wide varieties of veg and non veg, streetfoods, chaat, north and south authentic dishes, rice varieties, and what not. Each of them are one better than the other in taste. I have been a great fan of restaurants in Surrey until I found Dosa & Chaat Kazaana,PoCo.
Our new favourite local place! Highly recommend the dosa here. We had the spinach paneer and butter chicken dosas. Both were delicious and we cant wait to be back. Great service as well.
Perfect balance of flavours and reasonably priced
Had a brunch here last week. Food is great and will surely recommend their Chilli Idli. Coconut chutney was below average but all other chutneys were top notch. Washroom was very clean but was running out of papers . Overall had a great experience. Food
Service was painfully slow, slow to take order, slow for water, slow to receive meal. Windows seriously requires a thorough cleaning. Was first visit food will bring us back. If it was based on service would not return.
Food & Service was excellent. We ordered 4 different Dosas and will come back for more and taste new items from the menu.
Loved the Chicken kothu and dosas. Great portions as well.
Our 3 time going back. We have previously ordered take-out too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great service and very kind and friendly owner.
Everything was delicious! Good variety. Glad for the new addition to our neighbourhood. Vegetarian options: Lots of options!
Amazing food, great customer service, great atmosphere, i will definitely come again and I 100% recommend this restaurant.
This place is a hidden gem in PoCo downtown. We ordered Paav bhaji, Butter roast dosa & Raj kachori. The was food fresh and tasteful, with generous portion size and great value for money. Overall a great place for Indian food in POCO.
I am so happy this place opened in Poco!! The atmosphere is great, food is so delicious and I love a family owned business. Will be coming back often!
South Indian food is my absolute favorite, and they make fantastic food. Im so glad they came into the neighborhood. You have to eat here!
Amazing new Indian place in PoCo, will be visiting quite often I feel. Tried the rava dosa and it was bomb. Chaat was really good too!
A fantastic new restaurant in Poco. They have an excellent and extensive menu that is appealing presented. The service was top notch. Gracious and charming. Definitely worth a visit!
The food was excellent! We will be returning. If your looking for good food and service this is the place.
Good services in all kind of food services
Amazing tea...thanks dosa n chat
Great service, yummy food, clean and well maintained restaurant. We tried mysore masala dosa, butter chicken dosa; idli, wada, alloo puri. Everything was authentic and freshly made.
Great tasting Indian food! Would highly recommend to anyone. Lots of tasty options
We ordered 2 masala dosas,1 cone cheese dosa and 1 cone dosa, 2 sets of medu vada, 1 mango lassi and 1 dahi puri. The food was nice, but every dish needed a bit more salt at least for us. The vadas were crispy. Sambhar was average. Service was great. And loved the steel plates!
Loved the rava dosa and refreshing masala mojito! Lots of snacky street foods (chaats, pakoras, samosas) to try. Service was great. A nice large space for family gatherings. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishes on the menu! Cauliflower 65
We went there on Monday. It was very welcoming nice and clean and the food was amazing. Fresh and tasty.
So glad to finally have a dosa/chaat place in the tricities. The restaurant has a pretty good menu - from veg to non veg, dosas, and other items on their menu which was pretty nice to see. We ordered: - Masala fries: these were pretty good flavour wise. We really enjoyed it. However, for some reason we thought they were going to be coated in a masala sauce so we were just confused about that. But good otherwise - Chaat papri: I personally couldn t try it coz I can t eat dairy but my family shared it. We felt that there could ve been more of the papri for extra crunch but otherwise it was good and enjoyable - Pondicherry masala dosa and nilgiri veg dosa: both were very delicious and quite filling. It s got a very casual vibe to the restaurant. Lots of space to sit as well. Service was great overall - one of the servers helping us was a bit confused but otherwise had no issues.
Excellent food, highly recommend the south Indian curry. Staff are friendly, service is top notch. Best Indian food I have had in the lower mainland so far.
A new found gem in PoCo. An exciting confluence of authentic South Indian and West Indian cuisine under one roof. Never have I before been served delicious Rava Dosa and Dalpuri in the same restaurant. The very friendly staff genuinely care about serving you high quality food. It s a must go place for lovers of Indian food.
It was not bad but just pretty flavour less. Ive had much stronger flavour at most South Indian restaurants and I ordered extra hot and it was basically mild.
I came with my family and some friends. Food was excellent, especially the chilli panner and egg fried rice. Service needs to improve, the waiter and waitresses are very kind but need to speak up. We couldn t hear them when giving our order. Restaurant gets busy after 8pm and has a nice atmosphere at that time. I felt like I was in Mumbai again. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: There were kids at the restaurant making noise and the staff were not bothered
Greet place for family gatherings and date nights amazing food and service is always great.
Maybe the best dosas Ive had in Metro Vancouver. Certainly the most generously sized! The chaat was also delicious, a mix of savoury and almost-sweet crisps, yoghurt and something tasty inside. Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: Open to menu alterations, crazy amount of vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Big restaurant, lots of space. Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible.
Great food and service. Just need to go back and try other dishes.
Delicious food!! We had the dosas, the chaat & kotthu roti - and all were incredible. So good to have a restaurant that does these cuisines in the tricities. We were a group of five there for dinner on a weeknight. The staff are super friendly, the food is fresh and really delicious - will definitely be back!
Amazing food! We had mysore dosa, idli vada, podi uttapam and cold coffee and every dish was great. The flavour and spice was just right. It is a must visit!
Amazing food
The ambience is amazing with yummy and very tasty food.Must visit.
I have never tried the wholesome south indian food. Those people who do not like spicy food this is the perfect place for them.
They were super kind and kid friendly we ordered a lot of food every single item was really good.we got vegetarian food they have good options for south indain food there Kid-friendliness: They were so friendly and at the end they gave us chocolate
New place that just opened up. Dosa was good and raj kachori good too. Will try more dishes next time. Friendly service too Food
Food was delicious! Dosa was light, but immensely savoury at the same time. Samosa s were filled to the brim. Excited to have another great addition to downtown poco and looking forward to trying more.
The food is really delicious best place to din in love the customer service the staff is very friendly and kind.
Dosa was amazing!!
The food was awesome and great service.
The food was great. We were 4 and tried different kind vegetarian and meat and was really good . Happy that we have this kind of restaurant in Tri-city.
Food was excellent. Everything was extremely flavourful and great tasting. Service was perfect everyone was very attentive and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.
The food here was amazing. Very tasty and the menu is wide but doesn t feel overwhelming. This is a family ran restaurant which makes it extra sweet but that isn t why I am coming back the food is. Thank you for a great dining experience.
Was very excited to try the place since the day it opened. The menu is very vast and it covers the north and south cuisine of India. A much needed addition to Poco, since we had to always drive to Surrey for good authentic Indian food. We ordered the raj kachori, khazana chicken dry and chicken 65 biryani. Full marks for the presentation. However, the flavors were very very mild even after asking for extra extra Indian spicy. The flavours barely did anything for our Indian palate. The chicken 65 on the biryani was almost bland. We know this is just the first few days and are really hoping the restaurant can make the f Food spicy and more flavorful for the Indian customers as well.
Best curry we ve ever had! Food was impeccable! Service was excellent, huge portions, and worth every penny.
Take a trip to flavour town! Beautifully made South asian cuisine in a family run restaurant
I enjoyed the lamb dosa Lamb was tender and i asked not spicy and it wasn t spicy ( usually in Indian restaurants when you ask for not spicy it still is spicy but they met their promise ) Food
Tried the Chilli paneer, kadai chicken curry, and prawn curry! Everything was super delicious. I cant handle very spicy foods, so this was perfect for me. There was spice, but not so much so that I couldnt eat the foods. My favourite was the kadai chicken. Will be coming back again!!
I have tried a number of vegetarian Dosa options from here and really enjoyed each and every one. They have an extensive menu and I am looking forward to trying all the vegetarian options. Will highly recommend!
Had broccoli masala dosa for lunch. So delicious and very filling. Great value for your money.
Finally a good Indian restaurant with south Indian options. We used to drive to Burnaby for dosa..now its in PoCo
We had three types of dosa. Masala , lamb and a prawn all were fantastic. The people were also terrific. We will be back for sure.
We placed an order for pick up today for my daughters birthday. Was really impressed very tasty and good size portions. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu.
Visited on Saturday and was pleased with the number of tables that were occupied. I hope this continues to ensure its success as I really enjoyed the dishes which were a new style of Indian food to me! Sorry no photos as I had started eating before I remembered. Everything was very tasty & the spices were perfect. Service was good though we were not asked nor shown a drinks menu. I asked about Indian beer & was told they did not carry any... this should be remedied as there are some good versions like Kingfisher & Raj that is well suited to Indian food! We had Samosa (nice delicate pastry) & full of filling. Butter Chicken Dosa very tasty filling and the large toasted crepe was new to us. Should have come with instructions on how to eat for us! LOL Dal Puri the Chana Masala was special, next time will have entre size! The pricing was very reasonable for 2, lower than many other alternatives in the area.
