Fresh Bite Food in Port Coquitlam

Delicious sandwiches that are prepared fresh right in front of you. They make their own pita wraps fresh! We ve tried their Philly Cheese, chicken and koobideh sandwiches and they re all great. Philly sandwich is more filling than the other ones. Friendly service too.

Friendly staff. Great service. Food top notch. Amazingly fresh. Best Ive had in a long time. Cant find this anywhere else in the tricities. 10/10 definitely recommend

Ok I would have uploaded a photo but I forgot to take one before we started eating..lol I couldnt do this business dirty by posting a half eaten messy sandwich. And they ARE messy...which is a good thing because theyre so full of toppings and meat and cheese and sauce! Seriously delicious. They are super kind and sweet and personable and very accommodating too. I very much recommend this place. The prices are reasonable too. Its cheaper than subway or a meal from McDonalds and considering its bigger, fresh, made to order, homemade bread and pita, its a no brainer for me. I love supporting local business too, and after chatting with the very kind gentleman inside, I learned they live very close by and in poco. Thats really cool and I genuinely hope these guys make it and dont get pushed out by a chain. There was one sandwich on the menu that had beef chicken salami cheese olives and toppings and was only 13$. We had chopped cheese and Philly cheese. The chopped cheese wasnt like the cheap bodega kind with the processed cheese. It had about 8 oz ground beef patty chopped up, 2 kinds of real cheese, sauteed onion and mushroom and garlic sauce. The Philly was sliced beef or chicken with cheese and they both had delicious spice blends Ive not had before. All sandwiches are then finished with the toppings of choosing- olive, tomato, lettuce, onion, pepper, hot sauce, garlic sauce, more cheese, etc. They can be made on pita but we chose fresh buns. Theyre a large sub bun, probably just under a foot long and overflowing with so much stuff. Both sandwiches with tax and tip were under 30$ and enough for 4 of us (2 women that are smaller eaters and 2 middle aged big men with HUGE appetites lol) I also want to add how clean this place is, even when busy. Majority of food is prepped out front and anything you order is made to order for you, in front of you. I spent almost 20 years in the food and hospitality industry, and to say Im traumatized by what Ive seen in kitchens, would be an understatement (especially in the TriCities and from smaller independent restaurants). This place is spotless. Im super picky due to having a hospitality background, and I notice little things that some people may not. They clearly take pride in their business and are incredibly clean and sanitary and pay attention to details. They were also telling me how they do salsa dance and DJ and had some posters up inside. I thought that was neat...I mean Ive got zero rhythm so I wont be partaking but hey, theyre clearly not a 1 trick Pony these guys Thanks for a delicious lunch and outstanding service guys. We will for sure be back! Hope you guys stay really busy and can get your name out in the community too. Theres lots of buzz Ive heard and Ill try and keep it going too. I know how hard small business can be in this economy and especially restaurants with their slim profit margin. It can be a struggle and its nice to see you dont cut back on flavor, service or portions. Thanks again and best of luck to you! Bread was super fresh and homemade and the pita looked really good too (also made in House) Dietary restrictions: Everything made to order, could likely handle allergies by cleaning grill section and utensil and preparing separately Parking: Can park along Elgin or Shaughnessy, or in the back lot of Sams. Its kitty corner Elgin and Shaughnessy. Kid-friendliness: Friendly and funny owners, would be fun for the kids to watch their food being cooked. Picky eaters could be accommodated too since its all made to order. Wheelchair accessibility: Its ground level and fairly open

Great place for a decent priced meal. The food is delicious and you will not be hungry after eating here. I highly recommend it if youve ever wanted an amazing and filling sandwich

First time trying this place out. Philly cheesecake was absolutely loaded up and delicious. Thing weighed a couple pounds. Check em out!

wont be going back. got the cheesesteak sandwich. was the messiest sandwich ive ever eaten. impossible to eat as a sandwich because it was impossible to hold! bread was saturated in sauce/juice from the meat so it was falling apart. the sandwich itself was not cut in half which made it even more difficult to hold. fortunately, i ate in the restaurant but i cant imagine how much the sandwich would have been mush if i had taken it home to eat. by the time i left there was a huge mess of toppings and juice on the table which the employees graciously helped clean. while the food itself was tastey, i wont be going back simply because the food is not portable. ive had philly cheesesteaks before and this was just a sloppy mess

Best sandwiches in poco!

Really good food and the workers are very nice as well. I got the Philly cheese steak and it was delicious. My husband also loved his sandwich he got the chopped cheese.

So far Ive only tried the Philly cheesesteak and Zapata Giant. Id say theyre the best sandwiches in town. Looking forward to try some of their other options soon.

I got the chopped cheese sandwich. Super satisfying, very filling, good price. The sandwich contents are grilled/chopped right on the grill in front of you, super fresh. Takes a bit of time so dont go there in a rush, but this is expected for a fresh sandwich. When I went they did not have jalapenos as a topping. My only suggestion is I wish the toppings fit into the sandwich better. My sandwich was so packed with meat/cheese/onions that the toppings they put on afterwards were sort of just floating on top and easily fall off when eating.

Chopped cheese sandwich in PoCo? Yes, please. Everything was warm, melted and fresh. Its sooooo goooood!

These gents are kind and helpful with the best Chicken kebab I ve had all year. Simple ingredients that are house made - they whipped me up a fresh pita bread on the spot! Definitely recommend

So happy to see this sandwich shop! Walked in and it smelled amazing, the sandwiches look and taste so good. The hot sauce really went well with it, next time we will try the kebab. The scent of them on the skewers was so tempting.

We arrived just as they were about to close, but they kindly made us two delicious sandwiches. The homemade pita bread was amazing. So soft and fresh! The place was super clean, and the owners were really friendly. Awesome food, great vibe. Definitely coming back!

These guys gonna put subway on Shaughnessy out of business! I got the Philly cheese steak and the wife got the chicken kebab. Both delicious and the fresh pita for the kebab was so good!

Easily one of the best restaurants I have been too! Not only is the food incredibly delicious and fresh, but the people are so kind and make you want to come back and support their business! With them making the pita right in front of you and grilling the chicken fresh, you know it s gonna be some good food! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic food. Was a fun experience just watching it all be made. Went at lunch time today and the pair preparing everything was doing a great job. Great prices for great sandwiches.

Unfortunately, as another reviewer mentioned, I ordered a sandwich today and the employees immediately touched raw steak, and then started handling the buns as well as the fresh ingredients. I noticed they also grabbed what appeared to be raw chicken that they did not change their gloves for, and continued to handle the sandwiches and ingredients. The service was not great, without a clear understanding of where to order, and what we were able to add to the sandwiches. I was unfortunately afraid to eat it. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Probably the most delicious and filling sandwich I ve had. This place is a hidden gem you gotta do yourself a favour and try it out. The owners are super kind and friendly. 10/10

The food might be good, but the Customer service was terrible. I could tell they were having problems with their transaction system but there is a difference between understanding and not being greeted or spoken to while standing there for what felt like five minutes. I went out to take a work call quickly and came back in and still no one spoke to me or even made eye contact even though there were two men working who were speaking to each other. Even the other customers gave me a look of what the heck?? Then, as soon as two men entered, they explained to one of them that the system was broken, and after the first man proclaimed to have cash, they asked him what he wanted still not even speaking to me. It s been a long time since I ve dealt with such blatant sexism.

Swung by here to try a sando today. Ordered a Philly and a chicken sandwhich. Everything was cooked fresh, including the pita, and the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Very happy to have a great local sandwich shop. They also had corrected the previous negative comments about gloves and debit machine etc. Glove came off for the key pad and saw him throw it out. Would recommend trying the food here 5/5

Got the beef kebab, the thing that grabbed my attention is that they make every pita wrap to order and it def makes a difference, saw the sandwiches were massive will have to give that a try next time

Sandos were great and very reasonable priced (lets hope it stays that way). Made fresh and it makes a difference. I gave them 5 stars for service but its just 2 guys right now and they just opened, and it was busy. Give them a break. It was worth the wait though! Maybe the kitchen layout and flow or ordering could be better as the menu is around the side, then you come back to the front to order, back to the side to pick your toppings, the back to the front to pay. That being said, If they keep it like this, theyll be popular !

It s obvious the owners care about the quality of the food and the freshness. I am glad there is a new place in Port Coquitlam that offers this quality of sandwiches. It is a new place so there is some kinks that need to be worked out such as where to order, where to pay, take out menus and what options there are. The store was spotless and I wish the best for this new business on the block!

Yummy food and friendly service! Love that each sandwich is truly made-to-order. They roll out and cook pita fresh. The pita is so soft, with the perfect amount of chew and integrity to hold the ingredients and sauce. A nice asset for downtown poco. Hope the quality remains as time goes on.

The chopped cheese was one of the best sandwiches Ive had in a long time. You can tell they use good quality meat. They stuff it with cheese and other toppings of your choice. Im coming back for sure.

Im really happy to see a hot sandwich place in downtown PoCo and glad it was busy when I went. Food was great and the staff were so kind and friendly. I hope the community continues to support them and they stick around for a long time.

I enjoyed my giant sub with everything on it. I think I would have preferred the cheesesteak as it the steak looked better. Only complaint is if the veg toppings could be put inside the sub more to avoid it them falling out. Friendly staff and Id come back.
