I had a delightful experience at Jimoco, I really enjoyed their cozy atmosphere and excellent service. The linguine seafood and linguine soul were our go-to dishes, both generously portioned and delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, making great recommendations they have reasonable prices and high-quality food, Jimoco is perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. I ll definitely return to try more from their menu!

Jimoco is always a lovely place for authentic Italian. The lunch special is such good deal and delicious. The server, Matthew was so kind and took care of us. Presentation of the food was also great! I ve been coming here for years and the atmosphere is so cozy. 100% would recommend. Do not order out tho, this place is a hundred times better in person, haha :)

Finally this place has come back with a vengeance!... Its as good as I remember it. The seafood risotto comes in the clay bowl and it needs to so that the cream sauce does not go cold and separate. Fresh tasting seafood and well cooked risotto makes this dish out go to, as we drive out of Maple Ridge to come here. We also tried the newly release feature pasta, Mala Cream Pasta, and boy was it fantastic. Tonight was the first night and it did not disappoint... It was spicy, it was creamy (once you stirred it up), and it was delicious! Served with linguine, sliced ribeye, and the seafood medley as like the risotto we had. It was so good I asked for another piece of garlic bread to mop up the clay bowl it was served in. Kudos to the chef tonight, lets hope the quality remains on our next visit as we might bring some friends along for the ride.

Excellent place to eat pasta, it never disappoints.

Great little local spot for dinner. The service was awesome and everyone was attentive and friendly. The portions were big enough that I felt full and took leftovers home. We came a little earlier in the evening so it was a little slower, but it does get busy there after 6 on weekends. The pasta and Risotto were so creamy and flavorful. Would highly recommend coming here if you are craving some good pasta or Italian food!

The best carbonara.

Honestly huge upgrade from the last time I went. They had a huge menu change and the dishes taste so much better than the last time I had it. Highly recommend the seafood fettuccini and inferno penne. Caesar salad was good too.

Had dinner here with my friend last night and it was a wonderful experience! The interior was very nice and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I had the Carbonara and it was one of the best I have had in a long time, my friends seafood pasta was just as good! Portions were large and the price was very very good! The service was really great with all servers being so attentive and kind! It did get busy at around 6 but they accommodated for everyone and handled it all very well! I will for sure be back as it is in a great location and my meal was fabulous :)

I went here for the first time and was welcomed with the amazing aroma of Italian cuisine. They have so much to choose from. I love supporting these little gems and love that they have such a broad spectrum of dishes to choose from. Pasta, seafood boil, pork belly with rice and fried chicken, to name a few. All equally delicious. We will definitely be back.

Excellent pasta and service. The chicken parmigiana and spaghetti carbonara is always delicious. This is an amazing gem in poco. We always enjoy our time here for family birthdays. Our server Matthew was wonderful both times. Good prices and portion sizes. If youre craving pasta in Poco this is the place to go!

My wife and I had an amazing time at Jimoco! The food was absolutely bang on, and the service was outstanding. Mathew, our server, was super charming, kind, and personable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We can t stop raving about the ribeye risotto it was out of this world! On top of that, the prices are just right, making it a fantastic value for such high-quality food and service. We ll definitely be coming back!

My son worked in the kitchen here for about two years. I quit because I suddenly had to move. Ive always heard about how clean and only the best ingredients are, and Im just grateful for the time I spent with great people without a single problem. Even now, I say that the staff who worked with the boss were like angels and precious people like a gift. I sincerely hope that you will prosper even more.^^

This pasta place is great, best pasta in the tri-cities, its updated clean and the food tastes great. We always order to go however this time I came in for lunch with my daughter and it was excellent highly recommend!

Well..a big 2 thumbsup at Jimoco.. 2 Sangrias (really good) and their lunch combo incl a salad, a cup of soup (we both had the chicken noodles) a brochetta and a few chicken nuggets plus your choice of a pasta dish. My Mrs had their Carbonara and I had the pasta Scoglio ( easy on the Chilli pepper tho). It was ALL damn good. Highly recommend. Its too often you get a really good meal without breaking the bank. This place, recommended by our pedicurist was right on...

Coming to Jimoco is the highlight of my week!! The foods amazing same with the service. The locations also got lots of parking so its the perfect place to go with friends or family!! I would recommend the Penne Bombay which is my personal favorite or the saffron shrimp which my father goes crazy for!!

I really enjoyed the gluten free penne bolognese. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious. But they definitely need to get a proper pepper shaker.

Id been getting takeout from Jimoco for a while before finally dining in, and I am thrilled we made that decision! The place is charming, with lush plants and lovely decor. The bruschetta is a delightful twist from the usual, and the tiramisu is a dessert fit for the gods! What truly enhances the dining experience, though, is the exceptional service provided by Halley. Shes been our server on both occasions, and her warmth, efficiency, and genuine friendliness make each visit memorable. Jimoco Cafe & Pasta has quickly become a beloved spot for my family.

Best pasta in town, exceptional service and cozy atmosphere. I like everything about this restaurant. The food is always delicious, and amazing value for the price (6 course lunch set for $22!!) Their carbonara is the best Ive had outside of Italy. The server also told us the owners really care about the restaurant and treat the staff well. It really shows through the excellent service.

Had a lovely lunch today for a table of 8. Everything was delicious. 15% gratuity for groups or 6 or more. Items in the picture is from their lunch set menu. Nothing fancy or formal, very lax atmosphere with international mix of easy listening music. Dessert of tiramisu shaved ice with strawberry and shaved ice with sweet red beans was a nice refreshing treat. The only thing I would dislike was the wait for the food in order for us all to be served at the same time took 30 minutes, but it was worth it as all 8 of us had enjoyed ourselves, we sat under the tv speakers so myusic was louder where we were. (4 teens, 1 toddler, 3 adults) Kid-friendliness: No booster or high chair offerred

It was my first time visiting this place and I fell in love with the place and the food.

Everything is perfect! It was by far the best server Ive encountered in Canada. Good sense, bright smile, and even a pretty smile. Of course, the food was satisfactory.

I used to love this place. Was coming when they first opened and had wonderful service, great food and large portions. Even when they took the 2 for 1 deals off the menu, I had no problem going back because the service was great and felt that the value was there. Sadly I have gone twice in the last 2 months at different times and had disappointing experiences. The first time we waited for a long time before being greeted. Server took a very long time to greet us and when she did she simply asked if we knew what we wanted. Did not ask about drinks or appetizers. Restaurant was not full and there were other servers/staff working. Food came and was of good quality, very tasty as usual. This is where Jimoco shines. Sadly, the portion size for my $20 gnocchi was tiny. My daughter (who ordered off the adult menu) and I were still hungry so polished off what was left over from my sons kid menu order (which was surprisingly plentiful). Decided to go back a day ago to give it another chance as everyone has off nights. Stood at the door for a few minutes and was not greeted. Couple of staff members sat at a far table and did not look over. Staff member sitting at table closest to door looked over at us then looked away. Didnt let the other staff know guests were waiting. This was at 4pm. I get that some of these staff are kids working part time jobs but it is up to the ownership/management to raise their standards and provide accountability. I used to love this place and would recommend it to others. I cant say that I would do that now.

My meal looked like a bento box of Italian food. I loved the fried chicken bites, the bruschetta, the salad(dressing on the side)and mushroom soup! So many things that came with the creamy seafood risotto. All the food was very nice.

The lunch set was really great value and came with a lot of food. We decided on the spaghetti carbonara and it was absolutely delicious! Loved the chicken bites and soup included. The server was very friendly. Highly recommend, I will definitely come back when Im in the area.

The dishes look nothing like the pictures. They used to bake the penne al for no until baked well. Now it is lightly melted and rushed out. The fettuccine was alright, but again looked nothing like the pictures on menu of the screen in restaurant.

It was a nice little Italian cuisine restaurant with a Korean twist. The dishes are served like you would expect at any Italian restaurant but there are some dishes inspired by Korean cuisine as well. You can also try Korean shaved ice for dessert. I ordered the Bolognese Lasagna which was very delicious with a good ratio of cheese, meat, and sauce. It all blended very nicely and the portion was enough for one person. I also tried their Umbira Spaghetti which was also delicious! I ordered chorizo as an add-on but in retrospect I think Italian sausage wouldve been better. For starters we had the bruschetta which was was glazed with sweet balsamic vinegar and sweet cherry tomatoes which tasted delicious with the crunchy garlic bread. I would definitely recommend this place. In comparison to The Old Spaghetti Factory, this places runs a little bit more expensive but the menu options offer more.

Let me start by saying Im not the biggest pasta fan. I am now. Weve ordered from here twice and ate in restaurant once. The food is amazing. If youre looking for the traditional HUGE portions of overcooked noodles and generic sauces, then this wont be for you. If youre looking for proper sized portions of excellent al dente pasta with amazing sauces, fresh veggies, great seafood & meats, then this is your place. Were hooked. Whenever I feel like pasta, I wont go anywhere but here. It looks like an old diner with an old interior but the food is authentic and incredibly tasty. Weve tried 6 different dishes and each as good as the last. Vegetarian options: The veggies in the Penne Verde are fresh and cooked beautifully. A bit a bite and tasty.

Cobb Salad and Carbonara was very good.

Clean, well lit restaurant with a large menu of pasta items. Portions were decent sized and we all brought some for home. Taste wise, it was definitely a fusion pasta. Dishes came with free appetizer of garlic bread. We also ordered the strawberry bingsu which was piled with sugar coated strawberries and inside the bingsu were more surprises. Overall a good experience and it wasn t very busy on a Wednesday evening. Small parking lot to the side of the restaurant but more parking in the plaza.

I was craving lasagna, and my boyfriend suggested we go to Jimoco. Its our first time going here and I honestly would come back. The waitresses warmly welcomed us in. The food came in freshly cooked (or at least thats what it tasted like). For the money that I paid and the portions of the food, I would say it was just right.

I love that they have a place in poco now! Their linguine soul and mushroom risotto are my go-to. They haven t decreased their portions so you will not leave the place hungry.

I have been coming to Jimoco on and off for several years starting at their Austin location but have not always had the best experience. Back when they used to have the 2 for 1 pastas, the food would be great but the service was always subpar. For that reason, we stopped going. However, I recently heard that they changed up their menu with more appealing options so we decided to give them a try again and it did not disappoint! The new lunch menu is spot on with the variety of options it provides. My husband and I scarfed our food down and even the server was surprised we ate it so quickly. The service this time around was top notch although we did go during the slow period so there was only a couple other tables occupied, but we will certainly put this place back on our list of places to visit again.

Came for weekend lunch and was seated immediately. Regular pasta orders are larger, but I highly recommend the lunch sets, which have smaller pasta portions but a bunch of wonderful sides. Two lunch sets were enough for 2 adults and a big kid. You also get a $2 discount on drinks/cocktails with your lunch set. Flavours are all rich and fresh. Especially liked the mushroom soup and fried chicken! Servers were very warm and friendly. Will definitely come again...

Reasonably priced, portions were large & good. We ordered wine and they just leave it unopened on the table - so self pour. Only 2 ppl working on a Saturday evening so not the best service even though very friendly. We would return for the value of the meals served.

Jimoco Port Coquitlam location is relatively new but really a gem! I tried half of the items on the menu and I have to say I love every one of them. You can t go wrong so feel free to adventure!

Unfortunately, due to covid, the menu has been changed and cut. The choice has become much smaller. Hopefully, when the pandemic is over, the restaurant will continue to surprise us with a variety of dishes, as before. But the pasta and risotto are still great. The only wish is not to overcook chicken fingers from the childrens menu. Good luck!

Anything on their menu is really good so theres no way that you wont find something that youll enjoy. They also have free garlic bread with every order. Its a great place for a little casual date. And lastly, its affordable.

Love this location of JimoCo. Ordered Steamed mussels as an appetizer and they were not as good as the first time I d ordered them, huge shells but very small actual meat inside the shell. Disappointing, however the pasta dishes we ordered made up for the subpar mussels appetizer. We ordered the chicken Parmigiano with fettuccine alfredo and Linguine Vongole both exquisite in appearance, texture and flavour! The garlic bread and bruschetta were equally fantastic. Highly recommended.

My family and I tried Jimoco on Austin Ave in Coquitlam long time ago. We realized the restaurant has a second branch in Port Coquitlam. We decided to try it. When we got to the restaurant around 11:50am, there were only two tables of customers. The restaurant was very quiet. We got a table right away. The server was very friendly greeting us and being friendly. He asked if we wanted hot or cold water. I think he knew Asian people like to drink hot water in winter, so he asked this question because Caucasian servers would never ask this question unless the customers requested it specifically. We looked at the brunch and lunch menus. All the dishes looked delicious and very attractive. We decided to order their pasta lunch combos. The combo included soup, salad, garlic bread, one slice of bruschetta, some popcorn chicken, and seafood linguine. It s a quite a lot of food. Pricing was reasonable and affordable. I looked at their brunch menu. The smoked salmon was $17+ a dish. But I had the same dish in Vancouver or Richmond. It cost $23! What a big difference! There is free parking in front of the restaurant, so it was great that we could park our car easily and conveniently. While we were eating the lunch, a lot of people came. Some had to wait at the front to be seated. We didn t expect there were so many people or customers. I hope this restaurant will continue running well. I would recommend it to others since everything was so good in terms of food quality, service, atmosphere and pricing.

Recently has dinner here. The pasta was great. Wish the portion would have been a bit bigger but it could possibly be me as the other family members were full. We had the Shaved Ice and it was tasty. Its worth it to just come for the Shaved Ice.

We were expecting Italian food with a Korean twist for every dish. That is not the case! It was Italian dishes and some Korean dishes. Highly recommend the gnocchi. It is very soft and on the saltier/flavorful side, which I personally prefer with pasta. My husband, who loves Italian food, found it a bit too salty. The steak dish was cooked to my liking. Love the sauces on the side. Had a nice light taste of truffle. The other pasta was good. Cheesy snow Korean fried chicken was good. We eat alot of Korean fried chicken so I wouldnt say its the best we ever had.
