Ramen is pretty solid. I ve gone to this place a few times and they always close much earlier than their times posted. You can t really rely on them to be open. I ve been there an hour before their posted closing time and they already wrapped up. Disappointing.

oddly enough the ramen bowl came with smokes so I figured it was hot but it was lukewarm! I ordered black pork ramen, it was bland and the mushrooms were sweet.. all this combination was weird. Service is ok but Im not coming back. lol

Food was really good. The only thing is, my husband ordered the donkatsu son which was $17+ and the portion was so small. My daughter ordered a karage rice bowl and it was just a small scoop of rice and 2 pieces of karage for $9. The ramen size and price is what is expected. My only comment is the portion size for the rice bowls is not worth what you re paying in terms of price.

I bought this frozen product at Assi Mart. I thought the broth was pure tonkotsu broth. It had a strong taste mixed with anchovy broth. This is what Ramen Jinya broth looks like. It may taste good to some people, but Its quite unfavorable to me. Please write that the product contains anchovies. I would be very grateful.

Best Ramen Ive had

This is our go-to ramen place! They offer kids portion ramen with no greens. The soup base is delicious - made from the real stuff. Service is excellent and they know my kids will always ask for extra rice to finish off the left over soup!

Amazing little restaurant with friendly service and amazing ramen

This restaurant is like a diamond in the rough. Its a small restaurant in the Port Coquitlam area and my family goes there a lot. When you walk in you are greeted by kind employees and theres never really a wait for a table. The food there is delicious and they even serve you an extra bowl of rice to wash down the remaining broth. Even though many people like to go with classics like the Miso Ramen or the Shoyu Ramen, I would actually recommend the Jin Ramen. This restaurant is so good that even the takeout is amazing. It cones nice and hot at your doorstep and with a bunch of delicious toppings. Coming here will never disappoint your stomach.

I can t believe we haven t tried this place sooner. We had the tofu green ramen (vegetarian), spicy chicken karage ramen, pumpkin croquettes and must try fried spicy edamame. Everything was fantastic. It s the best veggie broth in the tri cities. Every croquette I ve found is always potato but rarely pumpkin and the edamame is addictive. We ll be back for sure.

Its our familys most favorite restaurant that we have to go regularly. Soup and noodles have perfect saltyness and have plenty of vegetables and meats. We love the broth so much that sometimes we hope that there is little more soup. The service is really nice and friendly all the times. It has good portions of kids meals too. We picked up the froze bowl last time, and it tasted exactly the same. Again, we wish there were more broth. Thank you.

I ordered ramen for pick up, for 16 dollars such a small portion!! ramen was very salty. Will never back. If you guys charging that much at least put more noodles.

Best value ramen that I have had in the lower mainland. Not as good a Jinya but the prices are way more reasonable for the quality you get, this is a regular spot for me.

Love the ramen here. The staff are friendly and quick. Prices are reasonable. They also have frozen ramen in bowls you can take home and heat up, which is an interesting idea.

An exquisite and small Japanese ramen shop, the ramen and fried food are not sloppy at all. The very rich miso soup, the freshly fried chicken Tangyang is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the fried tofu also comes with 2 flavors of dipping sauce. The chili sauce condiment is very spicy and strong.

We ordered double shio and red hot ramen- honestly the flavours were bland, the broth was runny like water, the egg was cold and hard boiled and on top of that the prices were so expensive. We have tried the OG spots, maybe that is why our expectations are a little higher.

A very cute ramen shop at a convenient location here! Their prices feel a bit higher than the other ramen places Ive been to, but their ramen is phenomenal! I also highly recommend their chicken katsu, its very well made :)

You guys have everything going for you except for the broth. What happened? Completely lacking any depth of flavor in any of the three bowls we had. I understand that its chicken-based and not pork bone broth but really, how does this place get such high ratings? Its just not ramen.

The ramen here was like a really bad cover song of a rock anthem. We ve been spoiled living in Japan for 7 years with the best of the best. I heard good things about Ramen Bella so we went in with high hopes. And the spell of Smokey aromas that filled the space heightened our senses. But once we tired our bowls - my husband and I looked at each other in such disappointment. The flavour lacked depth, the meat slices and chunks were full of fat. It s too bad because we were really hoping to finally find our go-to ramen shop. I d say Kosh s ramen still tops the richness of flavour & worth the bucks. Sorry guys. But never again.

Our go to in Coquitlam for some comfort food/soup noodles. This is more of a Korean style ramen place. The ebi ebi ramen is my all time favourite if you like prawn flavour broth. It s really flavourful! The prawns themselves are not the best, but I go for the broth. I always order the same coz the soup is just too good. Ajitama egg is delish too. The portion is just right. Service is friendly. Kid-friendliness: They have kid size ramen bowl with shio pork broth and some tiny cubed chasu.

Ordered on Uber. Decent flavour but the soup broth was watery and the pork was so thin it s almost as if they use a razor to shave some off and put it in your bowl. However, I did enjoy the portions of veggies, whole egg, and noodles.

Hidden gem, PoCos own Danbo! Both Double Pork and Chicken Miso ramen was 10/10. Rich but not overwhelming broth, delicious chashu and the option to have it served with either thin or thick noodles. And free rice if youre not quite full after! Very reasonable prices.

A very friendly and warm place to have ramen. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken karage Ramen. My son ordered pork shio ramen and he liked it. I had takoyaki, it was just ok. For me the ramen soup was very garlicky and had too much power over the ramen. I was told that we can ask for less garlic in advance. I love roasted garlic in the food but can t handle the raw garlic. Overall it s a good place to have ramen once in awhile. Staff here are super friendly and caring.

Very small ramen shop, tucked in the corner of a shopping complex. Restaurant was not busy when I attended on the weekend. They have some original menu choices, such as the ebi ramen made with a peanut broth. Service is good and the food comes out quickly.

2 stars because it was edible. Ordered the classic ramen delivery for this place. No utensils, Broth tastes like Campbells chicken noodle soup (very basic and bland), pork wasn t even marinated, had that gross porky taste, was super dry and chewy. Very disappointed, payed way too much for what you get. This tasted the same as a Mr. noodle with a little bit more meat. Go to Sho Bu, it s 2 minutes away and arguably the best local spot I ve found so far.

The ramen was delicious!!! The batter for the chicken karaage was perfection!!! The service was great! Highly recommended this cute little restaurant!!!

Bad experience with visiting this place on Monday this week. It had to be opened until 8pm according to the guidelines and their billboard. I arrived with my entire family at 7:05 to have a dinner (on purpose to this place) but the waiter said they just decided to close earlier today. Then we were forced to go to another ramen place. Tasty ramen that resembles the noodles I ate in Japan. The broth is full of flavors. I also like the texture of the noodles. Japanese-style ramen with a rich soup base.

Korean style Japanese ramen shop Its not bad but obviously very different. Double pork ramen - tried both regular miso and spicy miso. I like the pork provided. 3 thin slices of pork belly. Torches ground pork - gives it a nice flavor. The miso was much sweeter than usual. The egg was not marinated and was more overcooked than normal ramen egg. Noodles were bouncy. The spicy miso used gochugaru and there was a lot of it. The broths dont have much depth to it like it wasnt made by boiling for a long time so I dont think the price tag matches the value. Tonkatsu appetizer - okay sized pork chop. Fried well and the pork was tender. I would say some of the ramen is tasty but dont come here looking for japanese style ramen.

Service with a smile and the chef was very accommodating to a patron who couldnt eat as much spicy as he thought he could so he remade the bowl for him. Good karma!

This is for sure the best ramen place in all of Coquitlam. The atmosphere is incredible and the staff are super kind. If you havent come here I swear to god you have to. I go here all the time with my family and every time is a wonderful experience.

We ordered two combos, Double pork ramen with gyozas and chicken miso ramen with chasu bowl, everything came out fast and taste was amazing. Will come back. Was a little difficult to find after arriving to the mall though.

Simply delicious .. I had the Tonkatsu set and wasnt disappointed. The portion was huge and everything on the plate was delicious. The waiter was friendly and he service was good. I would go back for sure.

Can t say enough good things about this place. My husband and I are coming down every now and then to get ourselves a treat. We are obviously not ramen connoisseurs, but after trying so many different ramens in different cities/countries, Ramen Bella is definitely on our top 5 list. The taste of ramen soup is perfectly balanced, noodles are absolutely al denté to the right point, presentation of the food is always pleasant. They also have a good range of Appetizers to choose from. My favs are cold udon, red hot ramen, tonkatsu and puripuri Ebi. My husband just loves everything he has tried so far. Definitely recommend!

Found this place because me and some friends saw it on a reel. Definitely recommend!! Their chasu melts in your mouth and everything here is delicious. The store is a bit small so I would not recommend for big groups but definitely makes it feel like a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem of Poco, and an overall more intimate space. Vegetarian options: They only have one vegetarian option, but its still very delicious

Had the pork ramen with extra noodle. Also ordered the gyoza and pop combo. Thought the noodles were very fresh and the broth was very good flavour. Gyoza was okay. Definitely will be back but they only have about 5 tables so there may be a wait.

Just ate there once and I loved it! 8 out of 10. I had a pretty good portion with awesome flavour. However I did notice the other two people had bowls that were a bit low in the protein. But it was still great food. Great service too, and very cozy atmosphere. However not for large groups, its rather cramped. Parking: Easy to find parking

Fast service, very friendly staff. We were the only customers at the time and were treated very well. We ordered the pork ramen (number one option on the menu) with spicy miso. Broth is very rich and the spice level is just right. Very affordable as well even when ordering larger size and adding extra toppings. Chasu very tender. Added plus that theyre open a bit later than other places. Will definitely be coming here more often!

I discovered this place about a year ago when heading to the local Michaels and I gotta say I really enjoy it. The food is tasty, the staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is comfortable. Its a smaller restaurant but Ive never had trouble getting a seat. Though it may not be the best spot for private/personal conversations - just saying some folks need to be aware of the close confines. Most importantly they have a kids size Ramen option, something that many other Ramen places lack. For me this is a huge selling point as my kid cant finish a full $13 bowl by herself, so having a smaller portion/cheaper option is a huge plus and she loves it to the point of actually requesting it for dinner - which says a lot from a 5 year old. She generally doesnt want anything mixed together but Ramen is always a win! They have daily discounts on the menu as well, so you can cater your trip to the day where your favorites are on special for extra value. A word to the wise - I have ordered Ramen from multiple places via Uber/ Door Dash/ Skip before and it isnt the same as eating it in store. Not a knock on the restaurant at all but unless your driver is speedy the meal wont have the same balance of flavors or consistency as straight from the kitchen. I would give the food a 3 star via delivery for this reason alone and highly recommend making the trip to the restaurant itself for maximum enjoyment. Over all this place has become a regular spot for my family when heading to central Coquitlam, whether for a stroll around LaFarge, a shopping trip to the mall, or any other errands that bring us that way. Heck even just when the hankering hits home its worth the trip. Overall its a great pick. Parking: Its a massive open parking lot, I have never had an issue finding parking near the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Kids sized Ramen for a cheaper price - cant go wrong. It says a great deal about a restaurant when they have value-based kids sized portions on the menu. So many places just expect you to buy adult meals for your kid and deal with it, so it means a lot to me as a parent when that isnt the case. Wheelchair accessibility: Its in a large strip mall with plenty of parking and a lot of easy access to both the restaurant and other venues. No stairs or slopes to speak of.

I had the spicy Red Ramen as takeout. It had two pieces(slices) of pork. Thats it. Im not sure if this is common here or not but at $18 I expect more. The broth is tasty. No bean sprouts but two branches of green bokchoy. No other vegetables. Im still hungry.

Tried two bowls of Ramen Bella Poco and they were super delicious. We got ample portions and the meat was surprisingly tender. The spicy bowl was extremely spicy, FYI, order it if you are absolutely in love with spicier ramen.

Amazing black garlic ramen here. The ramens feel a little bit catered for Korean customers. What I mean is the seasoning, sweetness, saltiness and fattiness are all generally a little bit weaker than authentic ramen experience. Black garlic strongly recommended!

They are the best ramen in the tri-cities! So delicious, my family and I drive for 30 minutes just to get the ramen from this place!

Had the Creamy Udon, the udon was cooked well and the sauce was very creamy, but the tonkatsu was a little burnt. We also came during what we thought was Happy Hour, which started at 2pm, but when it came time to pay we were informed that because we came in and sat down a few minutes before 2, we would have to pay regular price instead even though we ordered after 2pm

The soup base for miso is fine. But thicker in soup base and richer in pork bone favour would sound better. For the Black Shoyu Ramen, the soup base needs to be more rich in favour. For the Chasiu, it is nice but it would be favourable to be larger or thicker in piece. If you live in Coquitlam or nearby, it is still a place to try for Ramen.

Better ramen across the way at sho bu. All the good ramen is in Vancouver but this place needs to step its game up especially for the price point. Had the red hot. Paper thin pork. Plain boiled egg when said was ajitama in menu. I asked the waitress after I paid if they ran out of marinated eggs heard you laughing as I was going out the door and Im not even joking. Flavour was ok not bad but terrible portions for 18 after tax.

The ramen is sooooo good. And they have veggie options! Service was excellent, and quick! Will be back

I ordered the chicken miso ramen and the broth was amazing ! I love the firmness of the noodles and the taste overall was just so nice and rich. They also do check your vaccine passport which is a plus as not all restaurants do this. Customer service was excellent

Saw the reviews and had to check it out myself on this rainy day The Koko Bella (Ramen) was recommended by my server (details are in the pic) the broth was delicious, every ingredient complimented each other perfectly The Tonkatsu (Pork) meat to breading ratio was perfect and seasoning was on-point! Sauces are just what you expect in flavor, Kimchi was not too spicy (which I enjoyed), surprisingly the mayo sauce on the macaroni was spicier haha Gyoza was a great add-on, crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. The restaurant is small so goodluck getting a seat ;)

Not a bad ramen place! Ive been wanting to go to ramen bella for a while. We got the ebi ramen and the black garlic ramen. The ebi ramen was alright, I liked that they deep friend the shrimp so it was crispy and added a nice texture. I also loved the deep fried wonton chips soaked in the broth. The chashu was quite good and the noodles were the kind that are not straight but more squiggly. The broth tasted VERY shrimpy, which is not entirely a bad thing because it lives up to the name. I think for me though it was a little strong - my partner said it tasted more of shrimp paste. The black garlic ramen is good if you love garlic. Im not a huge fan of a lot of garlic flavor so I didnt love it but my partner liked it a lot. For the price, you get very good value. The ebi in particular has a lot of toppings (i think the onion couldve been left out - a bit of a strange addition) so for $15, its a good deal. I did notice though that the presentation of our ramen was not exactly as pictured as on the website and previous photos so if they could keep the presentation consistent that would be nice as well. Overall, not bad.

Who doesn t love a comforting ramen when they are sick.and i Used to love this place so decided to order one yesterday. Was shocked to see the soup quantity. Absolutely low even the noodles couldn t dip properly. I ended up re-ordering from Takano ramen as that was super amazing. Ramen bella has lost a loyal customer for good

Ive been to the Langley location which had huge portions with good broth, so I was looking forward to checking out this location. The noodles were cooked perfectly but there wasnt much else to the rest of the ramen. The cha-shu was a very thin slice, broth was ok, and portion was much smaller than the Langley location. The space is intimate and service was ok. Food took a while to come out.

Didnt really like the ramen there. Quantity was also small. Spent $1.25 to add some Bok Choy and they gave me 3 tiny pieces. The oil used to fry food was also old. Not impressed.

My experience here was pretty positive in overall. This is just my personal taste and preference though, I think it wouldve been much better if the ramen soup was hotter (temperature wise). Definitely worth a try if you havent been there yet.

Came in around 3pm during the snowing time. Place was warm and not busy. Chose the basic latte ramen. Compare with the nearby Sho Bu I normally go to, heres portion was kind of small and chashu was pretty thin. Broth was good and tasty though. I also asked for a high spicy level, but the chilli was not spicy to me. Price here was slightly higher than Sho Bu too. I would come back here if I am in the area.

We had another delicious dinner at Ramen bella in PoCo tonight. I was hungry so I ordered all of this for myself Red Hot Ramen with gyoza combo, Spicy Agedashi Tofu, and Takoyaki. We were a table of 5+1, and despite being busy with steady takeout and food delivery orders, our food came out fast. What we love about this place is the cozy seating and nostalgic flavours. I finished every single bite of everything that I ordered down to the last drop of rich creamy broth

Bella Ramen is a place I often come to, and I think this is a pretty good ramen shop in Coquitlam. When I came here yesterday, I noticed that the menu had been updated, perhaps to provide consumers with different new flavors. Vegetarian friends can also come here, there are many vegetarian options here. One thing I have to mention is that I really like to eat the free kimchi they provide, but since I came here this time, they dont provide it. I dont know if its because of the high price of the ingredients. . . Forget it, in this kind of world, dont ask for too much. I feel very happy to be able to eat noodles with my daughter.

Karage don was tasty, wife thought food is too salty in general but if your a fan of salt this place is pretty good

2 stars cause it wasnt tasteful. Had the miso fried chicken. You get 3 small strips of fried dark meat and half a egg with a portion of noodles in broth. It wasnt a hot meal. Great customer service tho. Just not my liking

Amazing ramen really hit the spot. I ordered the ebi ebi ramen. It was exactly as I had hoped. A rich seafood broth. Noodles were done just right. Wifey ordered the black garlic ramen and thoroughly enjoyed it. Daughter ordered the shio ramen and was very satisfied. Soon ordered the tonkatsu set. That is a very generous portion. Definitely will be cutting again soon.

I think Ramen bella is one of the best restaurant in Coquitlam. Especially, my kids really love this place. When you want to eat delicious food at a reasonable price, I totally recommend this place. In particular my favorite is Ebi-ebi ramen and chicken karaage. If you like shrimp, just try it! Soup is very thick and the texture of the noodles will be good. Chicken is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I ll be back here again!

By far one of the best vegan ramen soups I have been able to find anywhere. Rich, garlic, full flavor. My next lunch staple food for sure.

Decent food, nothing special, and a bit pricey, but I would eat here again on a rare occasion I was craving ramen. The interior is quite small so you can expect it to be mostly full at any given time. They also seem to have a remnant tile wall from the previous establishment which makes for an interesting decor.

Probably the best ramen option you have in the tricities! I recommend the shoyu black as it is the closest to the tonkatsu black of Jinya. I actually prefer the soup to the tonkatsu black. the only thing that I did not like was the egg and the noodles. Egg felt like it was just a regular boiled egg while the noodle felt like almost instant noodles-y. But overall, with the current selection in the tricities, this ramen shop is the best

One of the best places to eat in Vancouver, hands down. After trying many different ramen places, this is definitely our favorite! Amazing service, reasonably priced and great tasting food (looks like the pictures), you cant go wrong. Definitely recommend the Chicken Miso Ramen. We will continue to come back. :)

So happy I found this place! Had the chicken miso Ramen, and am feeling soòooo content right now. So flavorful, and sooooo comforting! Cant wait for a soggy west coast rainy day so I can come in from the damp and really, really appreciate this place.

We got take out from Ramen Bella for dinner. The noodle tasted really bad. They look like noodle but when I put it in my mouth it tasted like a big piece of dough thats been soaked in water for too long (keep in mind they packed the soup and noodle separately). The ajitama was tasteless like a plain boiled egg. Overall the meal was a disappointment. Im quite surprised that everyone has left pretty good review. Maybe its just my luck... EDIT: had upset stomach that night... Definitely not going back again. Parking: Located in a strip mall so plenty of free parking

It was good ramen.

Um. What is this? We ordered two bowls of ramen (one with cha-shu and one with chicken) and both orders tasted... disgusting. I will rarely use this word to describe food, but the noodles are gooey and stuck together like glue and even tasted like glue - I can barely swallow it. The texture of the noodles is like melted cheese (see the attached photos)! The cha-shu somehow had the same texture. We got the orders as take out, but the noodles were packed separately from the soup, and we started to eat soon after we got home. Unfortunately the store is closed now. We plan to go back tomorrow and I hope they will give a full refund. Neither orders were edible. $35 for two bowls of glue.

Mediocre. Ordered the chicken miso ramen. Broth didn t have much flavour and neither did the egg. I was craving ramen, but it was kind of unsatisfying for me.

- Waiter did not wear a mask properly. - Waiter took off their mask when in the kitchen when customers are not watching. - No screening for vaccine cards. - Dishes were incredibly dirty. I had to ask for a spoon 3 times. my fourth spoon was the only one without leftover food still attached to it. The dishes were handwashed so its not they went and got cleaned in a dish washed. - Waiter forgot my water moments after I ordered it. - Ordered a ramen that 3 methods of customization, they only asked about the first one. - menu items I saw pictures of online are not menu items. They are pictures on the wall. - Tried cold ramen. It was very sweet and got stuck in my teeth. - Tried miso ramen. The broth wasnt anything special and the noodles were overcooked and too soggy. They were so wet and soggy to the point I was struggling to pick them up with my chopsticks. - From the point until I left the restaurant until I got home all I could think about was I was stupid to eat there, and how much I wanted to brush my teeth. - Im convinced that anyone who 5 starred this place was paid to give their review.

Kids friendly place !! We went to Ramen Bella with our 2 years old daughter and we LOVED it. Foods were so fresh and clean. Also staff were so friendly and she knew exactly what we needed. My husband had black ramen, I had cold ramen combo with tonkatsu and sharing plate for karake don. My daughter absolutely loved their tonkatsu and ramen broth. Not too salty but just right taste. We definitely will go back for our family dinner. :)

We had the tonkatsu-don combo with gyoza to share with the two of us. The katsu was super juicy and nicely fried and the rice was very flavorful. The portion was pretty good. Staff was very friendly as well.

Terrible service

Good flavour, but found a chicken leg/foot in my vegetarian soup, which was rather unpleasant.

Excellent food, staff is friendly and really is the best ramen in the Coquitlam area IMO. they have several veggie options too which is great!
