2755 Lougheed Hwy. #29, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 4R3, Canada
A neighbourhood casual restaurant, serving wholesome Thai food.
beef khao soi is thai-approved. authentic rich and creamy coconut curry broth with hint of spice, squeeze some lime for more zesty taste. need to mention that their lime is fresh and the beef is remarkably tender like no other. what else would one ask for.
This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant. I love the food everything is so delicious. The girls who work here are super welcoming and kind. Don't forget to ask for a sticky rice dessert. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Very tasty dishes. The curry Thai was delicious as well as the pad Thai. The mango dessert was a treat. Great service and food.
This is my third time coming here on Thursday night It’s empty at 7:30 pm. They don’t except reservations after 5 pm. I ordered 3 dishes of Medium spicy but none of them were spicy it’s kind of disappointing. And the side of the dish is small portions but pricey . However, if you are caving for Thai food you should try it because I have been trying to find good Thai Restaurants for long time in Vancouver, Burnaby. Only this one I would like to come back.
I brought my girlfriend here a couple of weeks back and ever since then she’s been begging me to bring her back. She is new to the Asian food culture She always loves sushi and pho But her favourite now is Thai curry And I don’t blame her it's Flavourful creamy and delicious. The aroma and smell alone is to die for Portions are fair and not overbearing if you love your curries and specially, coconut milk, this is the spot for you They have range of spice levels from mild to thai hot Since I work from port coquitlam, I’ll definitely keep grabbing some more
Our first time here but won’t be our last. They have a dedicated vegan menu which was much appreciated. The shrimp fried rice was 10/10 and we had a basil tofu dish that had lovely flavours. Service was friendly and prompt. Atmosphere was chill and good for date night. Easy parking as well. Definitely recommend.
The service was great. We came when it was pretty busy, the waitress kindly let us know that there will be a wait and she put our name down and gave us a call when it was time. The food is absolutely delicious and truly authentic. The service was great, they refilled our water and asked how the meal was, but did not seem overwhelming or pushy. The atmosphere is lovely. It is a small Thai place but very delicious. Absolutely recommend!
Very delicious, service is quick, staff is friendly. Reasonably priced, ordered a total of 5 dishes for 4 people, around $25/person. Different spice levels available, so caters to many with different taste and tolerance!
Clean and healthy food. You have to try it.
Food is very good here would recomend! Service can be hit and miss but the food makes up for it. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: They seem willing to change items on the menu to accomodate
Vegetarian options: Many healthy veg options can be ordered here. Food
Great food and great service. Our server Yuka was extremely organized and made our giant take out order a breeze. Will visit here again soon!
This place is amazing
This is probably the best Thai food I ve had across the Tri-Cities, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. The service is always great and the food is on point! The yellow curry with prawns and coconut rice is my absolute fav! Also they have some fun cocktails! The inside is a bit small (pretty, but small), but that s the nature of the space so it is what it is.
Tried take out from here and ordered the pad thai. The spice level was up to notch, but I really didnt care for the food. Perhaps I came on an off night? Prices were also a bit high and portion size kinda small. Restaurant was clean and service was good however.
Their massanan curry is my favorite. Great service too.
It is a bit out of the way for me, but Ive walked past it several times in the past year. I must have bad timing because it is closed every time I go by. Usually, Im in that area to shop at Michaels, H-Mart, or Pomme. It was closed for about a month last year because the staff went on vacation. The sign on the door says, Business Hours and then lists its opening times. Or does it?!? Apparently, it is open for lunch from 11:30 - 2:30 except Saturdays when it opens at noon, and Sundays when it does not open for lunch at all. But does that mean on Sundays it opens at 2:30? I was there this past Sunday from about 12:30 - 3 and it did not open. So when does it open? Based on this sign; unknown. And its closed on Tuesdays. I find this sign not clear and not helpful. If you are going to post a sign that says, Business Hours, list your OPEN HOURS like almost every other business. As it is, this posting is not helpful at all.
Best Thai food around!!!
Always impressed with the food quality. Love the fried rice. Great veggie spring rolls.
Excellent service and Thai iced tea. When I asked for it they offered to customize it with coconut milk which made it the best
Good Thai food, sweet taste
Used to be my go to for Thai, but will try others in the area now. Was so hot in there, had to request fans turned on. Dont order Crispy Wontons or the mixed platter, zero meat in wontons. Just fried batter. Vege Pad Thai has 2 pieces of raw broccoli and bean sprouts only. Personally I prefer a thicker Green curry. But very runny and seemed too watered down. Its a pity. Good service though and nice atmosphere.
We tried Ma Now tonight for the first time and it exceeded our expectations! The food was a 20/10, the service was attentive and they had no problem accommodating my daughter s gluten free request. Oh and the portions were very generous. We ll for sure come back again soon!
Amazing thai food and service.
Ma Now Thai Kitchen is very delicious and can do great vegan options. Love the Thai curries.
Green curry is my recommendation.
Every time I go, the food is amazing. Lunch special is great. It does get quite busy, so get there early!
Loved the food and the staff friendly attitude.
The ambiance is cozy, customer service was top notch. Soup and plates are ethnic and authentic.
huge menu with plenty of vegetarian options! served hot, flavorful, and delicious
Great green curry and prawn pad thai combo for lunch. Such a cute little restaurant with friendly staff. Food comes out quick also.
Great food!! Great service. Please do not judge by restaurant from outside. The inside is amazing and food is fab too.
Friendly staff, delicious food!
Delicious dishes and wonderful customer service
This was my one of my go-to place for Thai food. Unfortunately, but recent experience has changed my perception of this restaurant. 1) I gave 2 star for food because the portions were inconsistent (I ordered 2 different types of noodles and one was significantly smaller, side by side comparisons) 2) 1 star for service because the server took away our plates 3 times while we (4 of us) were still working on the food. There were very little left on the main serving plates, but we were obviously still chewing the food. Basically the pretty female server budged into our table and as soon as she asked if we were done with our food, even before we could answer that we are still working on it, she removed the plates out of table. The third time she did this (on the same day), I frowned at her and let her know firmly that we were still working on it. 3) 1 star for atmosphere, despite the usually hot weather (I came here twice this past week), they didn t have any air conditioning on, nor had a fan, or made any attempt to at least open the door when I asked about the restaurant being warmer that outside.
Ive eaten here a few times now the lady at the front is lovely patient and polite and the Thai food is super good I havent had a dish I havent loved yet. Also the pad Thai is not too rich its just right
one of the more flavourful meals i ve ever had out, amazing yellow curry, service was great very friendly people
Ordered chicken pad thai.. immediately smelled off like burnt rubber, likely from old cooking oil used. Quality of ingredients was fairly low and not very authentic. Price was just as high or higher than local competitors who serve a better product. Going into the bin. Will not return nor do I recommend.
The food was amazing with great service. Definitely try the Hung Lay. Its a bit sweet so get the Thai spice level.
I love this place!!
Ordered takeout and it was a great experience. Delicious food and they went above and beyond even though they were jam packed for Father s Day. Will definitely go back.
Very good tum yum good soup. Such a delicate dish and they make it just right. Curry and the noodle is well flavorited and chewy. Very good experiences.
Delicious
Their food was ok but we had to wait almost 25 mins for pad thai. And they forgot to bring our food that was already done making. At that time my friend was almost done eating hers.
love this place.. good food!!:)
My favourite place for Thai food!! Amazing food, great quality and very friendly staff
Best Thai food Ive had in Canada. Really great service. Restaurant is nice and clean. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Amazing food, great service, beautiful people Kid-friendliness: High chair provided Food : 5/5 |
Fast and efficient and tasty. Most restaurants require you to pick two. But here I get all three, just like I expect my Thai, or any food for that matter. Well done tho, it hits the spot when you need fast and efficient and tasty and for added bonus cost effectiveness.
Delicious, really good quality food. Not too oily, portion sizes were generous, take out was well packed and still lovely and hot and fresh by the time we got it home. Will definitely come back here instead of Chada Thai...
Delicious food and very friendly service! Will definitely be back
I really enjoyed the lunch menu. I ll be returning to try different flavours. A bit pricy for a lunch. I guess 2024 is Food
Small restaurant with amazing ambiance and food. I ordered a bowl of Kaow Soi and Som Tam Thai as a side. Both were absolutely perfection. The Som Tam Thai salad was super fresh and flavourful. The crunchy papaya paired with lettuce resulted in an excellent combination of textures and flavours. Kaow Soi was full of flavours as well and and the coconut milk-based soup was creamy beyond perfection. The crispy noodle on top made it even better. This is the best Thai food I had so far, 100% would come again.
Restaurant was neat and service was good. Food was scrumptious!!! Will be back again. Food
Great food and service.
Such a good gem! Very cute interior, good food and great service! I got the Chicken Pad Thai and Spring rolls and it was yummy
Some of the best Thai food I ve had in the Vancouver area. Very warm and comfortable dining room with extremely friendly staff. Food
Great Thai food. Might even be one of the best in the lower mainland. But their takeout portion sizes dont match whats served in the restaurant and I find that a bit dishonest so they get 3/5.
Delectable Meals. We enjoyed each of the Thai dishes... Coconut milk based Vegetarian Soup was extremely delicious. A Good Place for Treating yourself to an Asian Cuisine. Highly recommended Vegetarian options: Many on the Menu Card... They were kind enough to take Orders as per our request with preferred taste.
Loved visiting this restaurant! As a newly vegetarian, it is so refreshing to see lots of plant-based options. The food tasted great, and the portions were super fair for the lunch special. The ambiance is nice and their service was thoughtful and quick. Super glad to have found this spot! Totally recommend it.
We absolutely love this place! We have never been disappointed with the food! One time we had an issue with an uber order (ubers fault) and the manager helped us fix it and was wonderful the whole experience
Wow, what a gem of a restaurant. Very reasonable price, quick and friendly service, and the food was fantastic. Best Thai I have had in a while. We had a group of five, and had to wait about 45 minutes to get in, but it was worth the wait. Highly recommend this place.
Reliably great tasting food. They are great at keeping the food safe with my allergies. Servers are all lovely. Dietary restrictions: Great at allergy safety.
The lunch special was delicious and the presentation was wonderful. Had a great time.
Great food and prompt service for Thai style food in Coquitlam.
I love this place Food is so fresh, flavourful, and reasonably priced. Give this place a try, it s my favourite!
Delicious food every single time! The portions are generous at reasonable prices and packed with flavour.
The food was fabulous. Excellent presentation, the servers were quick, pleasant, and kept our water glasses refilled without being overbearing. The price point was good. The food was flavourful, and the spice level was exactly as requested. I will be coming back even though its not in my backyard
It was my first time ever trying tai food, so I don t even know if my dishes were prepared / cooked in their traditional way? But they were all good taste and willing to try again soon! Server was really nice and friendly as well :) would them 10 stars to be honest!
Best Thai foods shop ever!
It was a disappointed experience . The food was not that good . We couldn t eat some of the plates and we asked to recook it . But the stuff was friendly .
The atmosphere and servicre was great. However the food is a turnoff. First of all every dish is too sweet. The pad thai was a mushy blob of sweet noodles. The tom yum soup tastes like mama noodles and lacked the unique sour taste. The som tam was once again sweet. Had to ask for redo the som tam Missing the authentic taste of Thailand. The cha ma now ice tea ia good though!
Nice clean place, friendly service and food was tasty
Ma Now Thai Kitchen is a must try! Taste is on point and their service is great!
Only one criticism is the same as most restaurants is shrinkflation issue. Otherwise quality if food is amazing, we ate the appetizer platter, marang beef and red curry chicken. Service is great as always thank you!
Very tasty Thai food with modern style cooking and presentation.
Food is amazing, so fresh and quick too, great if you re just on a lunch break. The Kaow Soi with chicken is my favourite! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options Parking: Lots of free parking
Great place, great food, great service and atmosphere
Best Thai food in the tricities. Infact my friends from Burnaby now come to this place.
Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable price! My wife and I have been here a few times now, and it never fails to please. The only negative would be to not sit near the entrance as they do a lot of takeout, and it can be drafty! Food
Always great food!
Great atmosphere and the food is just amazing. Totally recommended
They offer multiple levels of spiciness, but unfortunately they are either inconsistent or are dish-based. The mild spicy level can be very different between dishes. One was not spicy at all and the other was very spicy. Regardless, all the dishes we ordered were fantastic, and the prices are reasonable too. I can definitely see myself coming back and recommending this place to others.
Everything we ordered was fabulous, seasoning is on point.
I like how they give such a good amount of vegetables and chicken. It s not too oily either. Good balance of sweet and spicy.
Very nice for everything
It was very good! Good prode and tasty food.
The food and service was exceptional! When Im in the area next time Ill be going back.
On March 18th, my husband and I along with two other friends went to Ma Now. This was our first visit. We were extremely pleased with the food and the service. Specially because three of us were vegans. Each dish we ordered had distinct flavour and were delicious. Portions were satisfying too. We devoured them in minutes. I love the ambiance. I highly recommend it. Cant wait to eat there again. All the best team Ma Now.
We regularly dine-in and order take-out from here. The food is always delicious and the service is fantastic. Very well priced for the amount of food you get also. Plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions also.
I love the way they treat their customers and of course their food is really delicious. Thanks guys
The best Thai place we know. Delicious, reasonably-priced food, great atmosphere, staff. We eat/take out from here almost every week!
I was craving som tum, and it didnt disappoint. I got the hot spice level and I liked that it had some sweetness to it. We also ordered Tom yum goong and the soup base was spot on and shrimp were quite large. Ordered some side rice and put some of it in the soup:) The shredded taro were fried to crisp perfection with sweet sauce ~ they made a great appetizer. The chicken skewers went well with som tum. My Thai mother even commented how fragrant the side bowl of Thai rice was with a good texture. Calm friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. They put on Thai music and Thai tv shows in the background. Ill definitely come back to try different dishes like the home-made coconut ice cream!
Great food, healthier version of Thai with less salt, still delicious. Servings are perfect and there is not an overwhelming amount of food. Ive been here 5 times and tried something new each time and it all tasted great, yet different! (Just make sure to read the ingredients.) Im glad they have vegetarian and gluten free options, you just need to ask.
The lunch special is a good deal, and I love their Thai ice tea. The food here tastes authentic and really flavorful.
Can t get enough of this place. Such fire Thai food!! Pad Thai, pad si ew, salad rolls and all the curry we have tried have been amazing.
Atmosphere is quaint, but nice. Its a small cozy place, nothing fancy, but well decorated and lit. Nice for a casual evening meal.
delicious food suitable for a range of dietary preferences. thai is a comfort food for me and finding vegan options here is a breeze.
It feels different from ordinary Thai food, but without losing the original Thai taste
Its different from the usual Thai cuisine that Im accustomed to, and it even has some Malaysian culinary characteristics. However, it doesnt affect its deliciousness, and Im happy to spend a wonderful evening here on Mothers Day.
Amazing food. Great service. I went 3 days in a row I liked it so much.
sadly not authentic thai food. was disappointed by the pad thai (dry and not seasoned well, beef khao soi (can taste the MSG & maggi seasoning powder which authentic khao soi does not have) & the massaman curry which had thin cheap cut slices of beef, and loaded with vegetables rather than beef and tomatoes (missing). ordered the mojito as well and with all the ingredients it has in it, all i tasted was lime and tequila. sadly it wasn t well made. if you are craving authentic thai food, fat mao downtown vancouver in chinatown is IT. service was great and i had high expectations but i will not come back for great service if the food isn t up to par. in response to the kitchens comment: customers share what they experience and i choose to share comments on restaurants that do an amazing job at serving food to the best of its expected quality & the same for bad food. take it as you will but i know people look for the worst comments & best to help with their decision making & im here to help. :) also, the chefs point was made when they themselves admit that their business chooses to pay less on the meat as it is not their business plan. the meat choice is not suitable to call the meal khao soi. again, fat mao in chinatown uses the right kind of meat.
Excellent food! The family trays are a generous size. We fed 8 people with 3 trays, 2 panag curries & rice. We will definitely order from Ma Now Thai Kitchen again.
I like the flavour of pad Thai, however the vein / intestinal tract on EVERY prawn was not removed completely and it s ruined my appetite.
Had the prawn pad thai, chicken curry and spring roll. All three were great and tasted like authentic thai food. The amount of food you get is quite generous as well I ordered medium spice which felt a bit mild so next time I will order spicy. The staff were polite and friendly to speak with.
We were in the area and thought we would try this restaurant. So glad we did! Food was so good. Really fresh, well presented and good portion size. Had the Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken and the Panang Curry. We will drive back from New Westminster again. Came back for a revisit. Had the Tom Kha Ga, Panang curry and Pad Thai. Tom kha and curry were outstanding. Pad Thai was very sweet and one note tasting.
Absolutely delicious! I have had chicken Satay many times before having it here but this was by far the best Ive had! Chicken was so juicy it came off the stick very easily not dry and stuck like most other places ...even the rice was so so good! I will spread the word and be back again for sure,! Yummy
Food is good but the proportion size for tge price is not very worth it. Especially the pad thai. The curry is adequate. But still over priced unless u go there to pay for tye flavour. Service was ok. U have specifically ask for ice water or u will only get tap water. For the price and quantity, u would thjnk that u deserve at least filtred ice water. Not tap water.
Nice authentic food and great staff. Had the beef and chicken both were good.
Really fantastic Thai food. Beef had too much gristle and fat on it, but otherwise very tasty.
Ma now never misses! Been having their food for years. Their vegan options are delicious. Every time I find out a friend of mine hasn t had ma now, I get them to try their vegan coconut soup (it always hits). Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegan/vegetarian menu!
It truly is the best Thai food in the area. And in a LARGE area. They were amazing in attending to details, making sure that the other is correct. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, especially during a special occasion. Thank you do much! I will order all my Thai food from you.
This is my favourite restaurant. The food is excellent and service is on point. If you re looking for an authentic and high quality Thai food, this is the place.
yum
Wife is Thai and this is hands down her favourite Thai food place. Everywhere else she says is not as good, and I agree.
Best Thai food in BC. And I m Thai.
The food in this small restaurant is really freshly prepared and tastes very good. The prices are in the middle segment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the toilets are clean, everything recommended. Of course, the ambience is nothing out of the ordinary, but a completely normal restaurant.
Good food.
Great service and delicious food.
Really delicious food here. Definitely recommended. Everything fresh, tasty, full of flavor and deliciously spicy.
Delicious food, limited choices, good for vegetarians, a delight for chicken lovers, not a place for beef not lamb. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from
Lots of vegan options! Happy hour from 4:30 to 6 will get you a couple bucks off their sangria (which is delicious) or $3 kokanees (pretty darn good deal in my opinion), plus there s some appy hour snacks too. Really friendly staff. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The food we got was so tasty. I will be back 100%. After some time away, I will confirm, still amazing.
Decent service. Decent food.
I love Ma Now Thai. The Thai food is always rich and flavourful and I have never been dissapointed by their vegan options. I have also never heard a complaint from my meat-eating friends. My favourite dish is the Yellow Curry with Tofu (and yes, you can sub the tofu with meat if necessary) and I highly recommend the Thai iced tea! Vegetarian options: There is a dedicated vegan section in their menu covering appys, lunch and dinner, and they usually have at least one desert option thats vegan. Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options, which means no eggs, lactose or shellfish, but you should always advise your waiter of any allergies before you order, or call ahead to make sure there is food you can eat. Parking: Ma Thai Now is located in a strip mall with a large amount of parking spots so there is always availability in the lot. Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible sidewalk in front of the resteraunt and the resteraunt itself is one level with a couple of different tables that could be used as seating. The entrance, however, is a very tight corner and a wheelchair may not be able to fit through there. This entrance is made by a bookshelf and a hostess podium, so they should be able to make room if they move these around.
My hubby and I went to the restaurant here for lunch. Their lunch set portion is huge, the chicken curry s spice level is mild and it comes with rice. The curry is mainly with veggies and some chicken breast meat. Also, the set comes with pad thai (I order no spicy, the pad thai is spicy for their original order) with spring rolls. Even half the portion I m pretty full. Their curry has several spice levels. I don t eat spicy, their mild is still a little hot for myself, but for my husband he prefer a little bit more to spice up the flavour. Would definitely try some other dishes here. The lighting at the restaurant is quite dim at lunch time, they are probably wanting to save off some electricity bills.
Food is ok, the beef was sadly dry and unflavored, the rest of the noodles was ok
Ive been twice recently. Both times I had N2. Hung Lay beef and it is amazing.
If youre craving Thai in the TriCities this is a great spot to stop by, you wont be disappointed!
Delicious food, great service & ambiance! We will be back.
I absolutely love the Thai food here, fantastic taste with just the right amount of spice. Great location and staff. Just tried and highly recommend the vegan options as well! Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious options. The tofu is seasoned and cooked perfectly. Must try the veggie rolls!!!
I ate Som Tam lunch menu, curry, beef, and tom yum shup. Although the seasoning is a bit strong, it is healthy and has a neat taste.
Sometimes I like coming back to this restaurant. The food and service are fabulous!
Clean and cozy. Our favorite Thai restaurant. Good food, good service, good ambience.
Wow, what a great local gem. The food was excellent, service prompt and atmosphere pleasant. They serve Oyster Bay sauvignon blanc by the glass...yay! On Wednesdays and Thursdays they have hpuse wine for $5 a glass. Our bill was VERY reasonable too. We will definitely be back!
Their kow soi is probably the best one I ve ever had in my life, I would come back in a heart beat.
The food is always delicious and the customer service is great!
Food was really tasty, and good portion sizes. Definitely wouldnt mind going back.
Amazing Thai food restaurant with great service! The portions are large and very authentic. The Kaow Soi was easily one of the best I ve ever had. Highly recommend!
This time for very attentive, every time we looked at the wall behind the bar with some art that thought we were trying to get their attention and came over. The food was also super good and had fantastic portion size. I had green curry, chicken and rice.
My first time to dine in here. It is my son s birthday so we gave him the prerogative to choose what food he preferred, and he opted for Thai food. After reading some of the reviews we decided to give it a shot . I m glad we did! The ambiance is amazing , food is absolutely delicious and the service is great ! So Next time I crave for Thai food, I know where to go! I also highly recommend it for you to try. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options to choose from.
On Nov 11 - a holiday on which MaNow usually does not open for lunch, they opened early in order to do a take-out meal for our 20 person luncheon. They provided great options to manage the various dietary needs and preferences of our group. The food was ready on time, was plentiful and very tasty. All of us enjoyed the meal immensely! We are thankful to have MaNow in our community as they are thoughtful, professional and the food is delicious! Vegetarian options: A couple in our group of 20 are vegan, a couple are vegetarian, etc. We were happy with the options provided. It was all so flavourful and delicious.
My visit to Ma Now Thai Kitchen was a delight! The pad thai I had was full of flavors, a perfect representation of this classic dish. The balance of sweet, savory, and tangy elements made it practically perfect. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service complemented the dining experience. Ma Now Thai Kitchen is a definite go-to for those seeking an authentic and flavorful Thai culinary adventure.
I LOVE ma now! I order at least a couple times per month and it never disappoints! I am also celiac and they have soo many dishes that are gluten free! They are very accommodating with my allergy, as it can be difficult to order having celiac and I don t trust restaurants super easily, but rest assured I always trust ma now! Dietary restrictions: gluten free
Their lunch special was delicious! I wish I took a picture. I had pad Thai with shrimp and side rice with red chicken Curry for under $20. Great flavour in their iced Thai tea.
I love this place! Their food is delicious, service is always great! It s a cute little spot for dinner, I love their satay chicken & their spring rolls are sooo good!
Edit Ok, I ordered from them again last night. I would never take advantage of a company for anything despite them offering in their previous response. Ordering was a challenge, as I simply wanted 2 orders of vegetable red curry, and mild. No meat, no tofu. Just veggies. Its apparently not on the menu but should be a fairly easy request. I also ordered 2 orders of vegetable spring rolls and a vegetarian pad Thai. I get my bag home and see that theyve instead given me 2 salad rolls rather than what should have been several spring rolls. I had 2 kids who dont like Thai food but love spring rolls waiting for this treat and I discover I have nothing to offer them. It was faster and easier to just order them some pizza rather than deal with the restaurant again. The place is nice and the people are friendly, and obviously had I wanted inside wed have been able to fix the mistake quickly. I wanted to give them another chance due to how people seem to love their food, but Im 2 for 2 having a disaster with them. The previous order had what appeared to be over an inch of metal in the food, which thankfully my wife noticed before putting it in her mouth. I definitely wont try again. Original review: Food was decent, though bland. Spice/ heat was there even for mild. Rice was excellent. Portions were a good size and spring rolls are larger so we had a little too much food. Vegetation red curry isnt an option so it was a special order. Disappointed it was all bamboo shoots and baby corn, very little peppers or any other vegetables. I guess thats our fault for ordering outside the menu parameters. Normall restaurants use peppers etc, vegetables people actually want to eat. Chicken curries were good. The thing that soured us was that in that vegetable curry, there was a piece of coiled up wire/ metal, about 1.5 inches long and about 2 mms wide. Possibly it came from the top of a can that had been opened? Thankfully she saw it before it went into her mouth. Had that happened, the restaurant would have heard from us, but we arent angling for free food or a discount etc so we didnt call them.
It was not bad,but I wish dishes were a little cleaner.
We have been there a number of times and always had the Pad Thai. This time it tasted different, it was less than impressive, and the serving was smaller. When I asked the server if the chef had changed and the portions seem smaller, she replied no and didnt seem to care. We will not be back.
We had lunch and the food was really flavourful and delicious with good portions at a reasonable price. Will definately be going back for more!
The chicken satay is amazing! Looked a little small today, but they threw in an extra to compensate. Very nice vibes in the store and always smells amazing.
My favorite dish here is their Kaow Soi with Chicken. The curry soup broth is delicious. Medium spicy is just enough spice. The egg noodles have good flavor, are nice and soft and go well with the crunchy noodles. Another good dish here is their Cashew Chicken with Rice. The sauce is soo... good! Servers here are always friendly. The restaurant is modern, looks new inside, has a chill vibe and is clean. Parking: Lots of parking
One of our fav restaurants around Coquitlam Center area. Great food, great service, great vibes.
70$ for 3 plates, food was bland, noodles were over-cooked, barely any chicken in any dish. The thai curry was ok at best. This is the second time I was disappointed with this place...
Best thai restaurant! Was close to where I worked so I ate here a lot and never had a bad experience.
food tastes good. however i noticed if you order to go, they tend to give less portions. sometimes skipping out on small things like the lime or peanuts. unless they ran out during service, not sure. friendly staff tho
Ordered take out from the restaurant as Uber Eats website kept causing errors. Wish you could place phone orders with the restaurant directly (especially when the delivery sites are not working properly). We ordered off the vegan menu and both dishes were amazing, so flavorful just wish they would include more vegetables without making you pay for extra. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, had the spicy noodle and yellow curry and both were delicious. Dietary restrictions: Quite a few vegan options. Everything I have tried was delicious!!
Everything was good. The food tastes nice. The chicken satay was a little bland (not juicy enough) and in the chicken dishes, the chicken pieces could have been a little thinner. The staff took real care of the guests and made sure all was good during their dine time.
Great price and atmospher
Dietary restrictions: Great options for Gluten Free foods. Food
Amazing little thai spot, authentic and cute atmosphere. I always forget about the nice possibilities close to home. Not worth going downtown vancouver if you are craving thai, the best spot is right here! Order the satay and beef stew, its phenomenal but limited quantity! Will be back! Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options tofu substitutes for meat Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options Parking: Lots of parking shared with other stores in strip Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant welcomes kids Wheelchair accessibility: Rampsa nd floor level access removable chairs for wheelchairs
Very clean restaurant, friendly hosts and waitresses, and very tasty and good quality food.
We made arrangements to hold a rehearsal dinner here for 30 people and it was the best decision! Winn was so great to communicate with and very accommodating and the food was incredible! Everyone enjoyed it thoroughly and it was very affordable.
I have absolutely loved this restaurant and have ordered their takeout quite regularly since the pandemic hit. Their Satay sauce is pure magic! I used to love their Pad Thai but tonight was the second time I ordered it and found myself disappointed as there were only three small pieces of chicken and about the same number of pieces of tofu. It is so disappointing because their Pad Thai is so good! Apart from that they give excellent service, their staff are always incredibly polite and friendly and their prices are really good! And theyre Craving Cashew is absolutely addictive.
I ordered online for pick up, food was ready quick BUT Worse chicken pad tai I ever had , what waste, AND other order was too oily and greasy .
My friend accidently tipped over her wine glass and asked for another. She was charged for two glasses of wine. As we were eating the servers were all coming over collecting our dishes before finishing and asking for the glasses back as if they were trying to get home early.
Food is consistently delicious!
