Stopped in for some perch, it was delicious, friendly staff also. Will definitely be going back
Loved the upper deck. It was raining a bit and they shut the cover. The food was excellent and portions large so I enjoyed 2 meals! A win win for me!
It's not what it used to be. I could brag about this place before, the main of perch was very good. Pricey No signature on the salads. The wait staff saved the day. Otherwise???
Had a quiet dinner with my nieces while being served by lovely wait staff! Food was acceptable and affordable. We left satiated. They were out of the pumpkin bread pudding..next time!

Service was excellent for our group of 18 despite a limited number of staff on hand to serve multiple groups spread throughout the restaurant. Great outdoor views and menu prices were what you would expect for this type of restaurant setting, somewhat in the mid-range category. Main course and dessert were excellent but I was slightly disappointed with the soup appetizer. The soup portion was generous enough however I have had far better Manhattan Clam Chowders elsewhere. In fairness to the restaurant I did not let my dissatisfaction known to them so they were never given an opportunity to rectify the situation. Overall a very pleasant experience and a place I would recommend if you are in the area.
Food was so so, waited quite a while to be able to sit on the rooftop patio only to be seated in the centre with no view, next to a wall with an air conditioner/exhaust vent beside it. A few large groups left, opening up alot of seating and the line for the patio subsided at which time we asked multiple times to be moved. Was told no basically and that some of the other tables were for larger groups, then watched within a few minutes as they seated other smaller groups at these tables instead (they weren't reserved either). Had been waiting a while to try this place out and really wasn't impressed by the service or the food. Plenty of other local places I'd rather eat at.
Service was great Kelly and Judy were awesome.. Food was amazing we had perch the 8 ounce cooked to delight and a chicken Caesar wrap plus they’re well-known celery bread. Plus drinks on the patio they were awesome would highly recommend this restaurant
Poor quality food.
Always my goto for perch. Pickerel is also very good. The rest is typical pub food, burgers, wings, etc.

Weird menu & selection of food with a fine dining atmosphere. I felt like Gordon Ramsey was going to come out of the back. I Left confused

Got take out, perch and wings. Everything was excellent. Food was still hot when we got home.
Maybe it is the casual atmosphere, or possibly it is seeing Rose again my favorite waitress. Rose has served me for over 30 years, either way I always love the Erie Beach Restaurant. I recommend one pitcher of draft beer, one platter of Perch, a plate of Shrimp, a plate of fries & you cant forget the celery bread. The Erie Beach makes great deserts as well Im always to full but my sister in law always gets a rice pudding to go. Always consistently a great meal & always a pleasant experience.
The calamari was way over cooked then I had perch fish tacos with fries...the taco shell was not even room temp it was cold like it came out of the fridge... absolutely none of the food was hot... Couldnt even say it was warm. We ordered 2 orders of calamari to start..sent one back not even touched, waitress did ask if we wanted a new order but we said no... there were 3 of us none of us ate more then a bite of our food it was so disappointing. Bill was 180$ we did have a cocktail and a glass of wine . Do not recommend, would not go back.

Terrible food (absolutely no seasoning), bizarre menu (lemon jello with horseradish, marshmallow salad, canned bean salad, cucumber salad which was mostly dressing). Servers were great, very attentive and hard working. Great nostalgia for those that grew up going there but holds no appeal to me.
The food is good, but not excellent. I had the pickerel dinner. The atmosphere is great! They even had mist machines helping to cool us down on a hot day on the rooftop patio! The servers were attentive. Food : 3/5

We were crowded into The Rose Room. Set up was not conducive for a group, we were charged extra for the room, tips were automatically added. Yet we had to ask for coffee, extra salads, celery bread. Not impressed. Not pleased with the costs charged. Hype doesnt equal what we received, sadly.

Great good and view from the outside patio. Perch and pickerel are both great. Its pretty expensive, but its a higher end restaurant.
Waste of a drive from Hamilton when they dont get your order right and dont seem to care

Good family restaurant. I ordered beef on a bun . The beef was shaved thin tasty and tender. It was served with fries and a jus on the side. A very enjoyable meal which was served in a timely manner.

Ive been here a few times before, actually surprised I havent done a review yet! I ordered the battered cod for dinner. Without a doubt, this was one of the best fish dinners Ive ever had! The batter was perfectly crispy over the whole fish pieces. The meat itself was flaky and thick, also cooked to perfection! For the sides, I had coleslaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, and of course their famous bread. The whole meal was delectable, and I cannot find a single thing to criticize! Highly recommend, prices very reasonable, will definitely be returning many more times!

The patio is great for drinks. Nice vibe and clean. The food on the other hand is over priced and just plain average. Great for drinks. But stay away from the food.
The patio is really nice and seems quite new. The food is quite good but dont expect large portions. It is also priced a little more than average. Overall its a great patio and atmosphere with good food.

We were there on Good Friday and it was extremely busy in spite of the bad weather - it was pouring outside. As usual the service was excellent and the price reasonable. We keep on returning to this restaurant because of the consistency.
The location was great, the staff were very attentive but the fish and chips were average at best.
On special occasions my wife and I have dinner at the Erie Beach restaurant in Port Dover. Last week we had our usual perch platter & meal. Service was great, salads excellent, celery bread was delicious. Not wanting to complain to each other during the meal, but both of us commented later in the evening that the perch was only warm, not hot, a little wet, not crisp, tasted undercooked. Was not the same as we have enjoyed in the past. Would go again but ask that the perch be cooked longer, till a little crisp.

Great place to go for fish and chips right out of the lake.
