I ordered the brownie cake with brigadeiros and grape surprise for my employee's birthday. We usually have a coffee break at the office, and I introduced the Brazilian birthday sweets to my team. Everything was absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it, especially the grape surprise—it was such a unique and creative touch. The flavor, portions, and presentation were all flawless.

Absolute amazing experience ordering from Maria, with a beautiful end result. After reading all the glowing reviews, I purchased an orange cake for my mum’s birthday, citrus being her favourite desert base. The orange flavour was perfectly balanced and delicate, and it was soooo moist. We ordered a small, and their are easily 10 healthy portions. The purchasing process was easy, and pickup was a breeze.
I ordered an orange cake with raspberry the day before my husband's birthday and received it the next day. I'm really appreciated for her prompt action. The cake was so beautifully decorated. It wasn't too sweet and it's like a real homemade cake. We were all satisfied with the cake even my little daughter! It was absolutely delicious and perfect with coffee. I'm highly recommend orange cake. I will definitely order it again! :)
Ordered a key lime pie for my southern husband's birthday. Had to order on short notice and needed something nut safe. Doceria da Maria were able to not only make a fabulous pie but did it over night and made it totally nut safe! We'll be ordering lots from here from now on. Thanks so much. First of all, this is a pre-order business. If you want a cake done, you call ahead and request what you want. However, on a last minute call I made to her, I was lucky that she had one of her orange cake in hand. I personally not a big fan of zesty cakes but this one was really good. Not overwhelmingly orangey, nor too sweet. The cake was really soft. My wife really liked it. We will definitely consider ordering from here in the future
We ordered the gluten-free brownie pie and orange cake for a birthday party. The birthday boy has gluten allergy and we must say both were delicious. Our friends and family also gave us great feedback too and they couldn't even tell the cakes were gluten free. Maria was very responsive to the orders and very nice to interact with. We will definitely be ordering cakes from her...and will have to try out each different type of cakes she offers.
Doceria da Maria is absolutely wonderful. I was in a pinch and needed a cake for work celebration. I contacted Maria on Sunday, needing the cake for Monday, and she had it done in just a few hours. She was more than willing to work around my schedule and do whatever she could to make it work for her customer. I ended up going with the orange cake at her recommendation, and it was such a hit. It was so beautifully decorated (picture), and my god it was delicious!! Everyone loved it, and wanted to know where I'd gotten it. We were all very impressed. Thank you Maria! I will be ordering the Doce da Leite next time, thanks to that delicious sample you included. 15/10 would recommend your business to everyone :)

I bought the carrot cake and pamonha cake. They were both delicious and brought me right back to my childhood in Brasil! They were nice and moist and the sweetness was not overwhelming. Worth every penny.

The brownie was nicely crisp/crunchy on the outside and the inside wasnt dry. Even after leaving it out a few days, it was still pretty good! Got the brigadeiros too and it reminded me of a treat I had a while back called pastillas de leches. I would order again, but would probably request less sugar next time as my friends and family are at the age where they prefer less sweet stuff. Also, Maria is super friendly!
I would give her more than 5 stars if I could! Maria s cakes are homemade, beautiful and taste delicious! You can t go wrong with any flavors, but my favorites are the orange cake and brigadeiro brownie.

I was amazed by the quality of Marias cake, brownie and cheese snacks. The genuine Dulce de leche flavor. Plus, it was really easy to communicate with her and make the order exactly as I wanted. Good price, range of options; It was all perfect. Cant wait to try her vegan options too!
My boyfriend bought me the heart brigadeiro cake as a surprise for my birthday, oh my god I was amazed. Tasted absolutely delicious, just like my childhood in Brazil. Really good and the perfect amount of sweet, everyone loved it and some of the people that ate it dont even like sweet things and still they loved it. I totally recomend it!

I got some samples at first and we were wow, they were so delicious that we decided to try one full cake. We got the Orange Cake and it is a must try. I is so delicious, not too sweet, perfect for special occasions but honestly good for all occasions.
First I need to talk about how delicious everything is! Every time I try another one of Marias desserts Im blown away at the flavour. Maria is such a sweetheart and you can tell that shes passionate and puts her whole self into her work. Shes super flexible and really does try to work around your schedule. I really appreciated the ease of the whole transaction.

I have tried the fitness cake as well as the orange cake. Both cakes are delicious! Super moist and the sweetness just right. On top of that Maria one of the nicest person i have ever had the pleasure to interact with. I will definitely be ordering lots of cakes from her.

I ordered the Orange Cake for my wifes birthday since my wife is OBSESSED with it! It is the best cake my family and I have ever had!! Its delicious and light - the orange taste is perfectly subtle. I called the day before her birthday, and Maria had it ready to go the next afternoon without a problem. From now on, we will always be ordering our cakes from here. Sometimes we find ourselves looking for excuses to treat ourselves to Marias delicious cakes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying the orange cake!

My mouth is watering writing this. Call this place. Get as much as you can stomach as often as you can. I come from downtown just for their cakes. The dolce is my favourite.
The cakes are amazing and Maria is so sweet and accommodating to any dietary needs. I ordered two cakes for Mothers Day and they were both a huge hit I will definitely be back for more. If you havent tried them yet, you must they are so delicious!! And Great customer service!! We will be a return customer, cant wait to host our next dinner so we can pick up some cakes LOL

After a month of deciding whether or not to try this out, I finally pulled the trigger for Thanksgiving and Im happy I did! The Orange Cake I ordered was finished in a timely manner with short notice. The cake it self had a soft, moist, flavorful and light coloured center with a brown slightly crispy texture and topped off with a delicious orange glaze. Everyone loved the cake! I wish I had room for seconds while it was available because it was all gone by the time I was ready for more.
Unique tasting cakes. Theyre really good and if you want to try something new this is the place to hit up. The girl is also super nice and cute ^_^
