Train Wreck brewery in Port Moody is spacious and has a good beer, cider and mead selection.
I finally found one of the best breweries in Canada! They serve an excellent hefeweizen that could easily make them one of the top breweries around. Any Bavarian missing a good hefeweizen should definitely come here and give it a try. They’ve also been recognized for their British pale ale, which is outstanding.
I celebrated my birthday at Train Wreck Brewing and it was an extraordinary experience! The atmosphere was perfect, the staff was very kind and attentive, and the food and drinks were excellent. All my guests had a great time, and the music and decor complemented the evening perfectly. Thank you to the team for an unforgettable birthday! I highly recommend it!
Went for the flight of sours ($9) - a great way to sample a variety of brews. Also tried a couple of the meads, which aren't available less than 12 oz so you can't sample those in a flight but both the Orange Saffron mead and Lingonberry-Elderberry were delicious! We happened to be there for the live music and the guys performing on Nov.1 were very talented and provided great ambience. Best to reserve a table in advance for your friend group. For hot food, you can order burgers, poutine, Mac & cheese from the on-site food truck, but i recommend eating at Sushi Modo or Karumba across the street instead.
We hosted a reception for a funeral at Trainwreck Brewery. My beloved mother in law loved pubs and live music so this was the perfect venue. The owner Chris was an absolute gem to deal with and was more than willing to let us use the space as we wanted to with decor, a mix of food that we brought with food available at the brewery and a beer cheers to my mother in law. Anna and Max were our servers and were absolutely wonderful and so attentive. Mike on the Mic played some renditions of classic rock that my mother in law would have adored. Looking forward to visiting again on a happier occasion.
We had an amazing experience here! We stopped by on Saturday to enjoy the patio and savor some delicious beers - the Mexican cerveza and sours were our favorites! We also ordered mouth-watering brisket from the food truck. We loved it so much that we came back the next day (Sunday) for their breakfast special, which was not only delicious but also a steal at just $8! We highly recommend this place!
Stopped by to have a few drinks. They have a very large selection of drafts on tap. At the present time there is nothing that you can buy and take home. But the server said it will happen soon. I also ordered some cocktails on tap. They were extremely sweet and not very strong so if that is something that you look for the new would definitely enjoy it. Personally for my taste it was way too sweet. They do have a barbecue truck outside that you can order food from. We ordered two poutines and the poutines were really good. This is a very nice place to hang out. They have an large outdoor patio and a large indoor seating area. The servers are very friendly. The patio that is up front is right on the street so you do get a lot of Street noise. But you are in the Sun.
The live music they had was so warm and entertaining, and the staff and I were not stop laughing and enjoying each others company. I am not an avid drinker but they have the best craft cream soda I have ever had! It is a must try!!!
Great service but the beer is quite bad unfortunately
We should ve paid attention to the name because it was a train wreck. My friend and I each had a flight. The first three beers were watery and lacking in any substance and the fourth tasted so much like vinegar that we couldn t get past the first sip. Although not part of the brewery, the pulled pork sandwich from the food truck was inedible. Stick to the breweries down by Rocky Point and save yourself the disappointment of this place.
Top spot with live music on the weekends and some really decent food and drinks. It is food truck food but it s pretty decent and the vibe is good.
Great spot for a beer and a bite, with live music nights and a great weekend breakfast as well as a dog friendly patio; what more can you ask for!?

Came here twice during the Euro Cup and Canada playing at the Copa America! Great panini from an Italian Deli and it shows! Excellent employees and new(ish) owner who is very knowledgeable and passionate about beer and food. Imagine that!! Food
The beer were good, but brisket were dry, almost like eating Jerky(at one point, it took me almost more than 5min to eat one piece of brisket) and coleslaw was one of the worst coleslaw I ever had. I am usually pretty easy on food, but that was unacceptable.

Was walking by after my shift and decided to try their beer as I didnt know this brewery at all. Order a flight of beers consisting - Pilsner, Lager, Ale and IPA. I did like all of them so much that I had to buy a couple of cans and take them home. Looking forward to being able to buy these delicious beers in my local BC liquor store soon.
Stopped in for a beer and a bite to eat. Beer selection was good. The place was pretty slow, it was a Thursday evening. Ordered our beers and food from our server. Unlike other local breweries TW offers table service for drinks and the food truck. This would be nice but this is where the experience broke down. The wifes food came fairly fast and was good. It would have been better if the food she ordered was what showed up, it was close so she ate it anyways. After the wife had finished we asked if my pulled pork burger (sounds yummy) was close to being ready. After some checking behind the counter and s little discussion between servers the server came to the table (not the one who took our order) to apologize that the order wasnt placed, she comped one of my beers and placed my food order. It showed up fairly fast and it sat on the bar for a few minutes before we asked the server if that was my dinner sitting there. He said yes so we grabbed it and returned to our table. The pulled pork sandwich was good. Im sure the pulled pork burger I had actually ordered would have also been good. After the couple beers and two messed up meals we paid, tipped and left. Not sure if we will be going back. The table service is a nice touch but that I where the night out had its hick up. They would be better off just serving their beers (which were good) and letting the customers deal with their own food orders.
Today we ventured out to the brewery s in Port Moody we stopped in at TrainWreck for lunch and a beverage. Staff were friendly, service, beverages and food were great. Would highly recommend putting TRAINWRECK on your list when visiting Port Moody breweries. Next time we will visit when they have their live music .

Though this location is next to St Johns, the noise was not loud at all surprisingly for the outdoor seating area. The service was great! The food truck had a lot of options and was very tasty! The brewery had many options and the Cherry Sour that we had was really good! Will definitely be returning here!
Big place, service was cool , was helped by a gentlemen. Had a chat and got my drink. Its a place Ill go to once in awhile. Just seems very quite and big.

I recently discovered this darling little brewery with my boyfriend and his family. It was lovely. Clean and modern with great service and fair prices. Really enjoyed watching The Canucks win the game while we were there. Its a great atmosphere to be able to watch the hockey playoffs there. Try the crispy chicken! Its delicious. Put it on a salad or on its own,it was finger licking good!!

Absolutely awesome place, the food and service is outstanding (never an empty glass lol) a great place to go and meet friends and listen to live music on the weekends or go and take in a hockey game on their big screens (Lets Go Canucks).......looking forward for the warmer weather to hang out on the patio

I highly recommend Train Wreck brewing. I always receive a warm welcome at the door. The friendly greetings and smiles create a fantastic atmosphere. The spacious and clean environment adds to the overall experience. My go to beer is the Cerveza, incredibly refreshing. It s the perfect spot for any celebration. The food from Truck n BBQ is a delightful complement, pulled pork Mac and cheese, and the Ribs. DELISH ! Looking forward to trying the stuffed peppers on my next visit.
The beer is good. The atmosphere is great. The food I ate was from the truck out front. The food truck improved the rating of Train Wreck. That being said This was in their Soft Opening. 4 stars is fair.

Fantastic place to hang out after a long day of work. Great BBQ Ribs & Food Truck. Staff is great and pleasant. Very clean and large patio, bonus for allowing dogs as well.
