Stopped by here for lunch for the nostalgia. We used to live in the area and Id come in with my eldest all the time. Such a cute, local shop for tasty lunch and breakfast. Always friendly.

Amazing food and lpace

I don t know what happened. After 20+ time ordering the same bfast item, I made my first return because the egg on the sandwich was overcooked and rubbery. Was met with some static by the owner telling me that I should order the eggs underdone next time. I m not familiar with law, but a restaurant proooobably shouldn t tell its (former) patrons that. Apparently they feel like they don t make any mistakes. I m easily finished ordering from here. Used to be my go-to in poco. Get some humility, and cook just a bit better.

If you like a nice Classic Breakfast, Good Coffee and. Quiet Atmosphere, this is a the place for you. The owners were nice and I really enjoyed my meal there.

Good food, fast service.

Prices are going up as inflation is costing everyone. Food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Wait time for food is slightly longer than the average place. But still a nice cosy good place to eat so 5 stars anyway.

I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with mushrooms and something else I cant remember, The Omelette was good, and the hash browns were good. I am fussy about my toast, I ordered it butter to the edge, and it was not buttered to the edge, in fact Im sure there couldnt have been less butter on the toast although it was buttered in the middle area just lightly. I would recommend the food and the gentleman running the place was polite and courteous. The entire restaurant, although small, is a clean restaurant with clean washrooms. Wheelchair accessibility: The doorways were big enough for wheelchairs and it is a flat level entrance.

I visited Omega Cafe in Port Moody for breakfast today, and unfortunately, it was an awful experience. From the moment I approached the ordering desk, I was met with rudeness from a staff member named Danny. Not only did he fail to respect his coworker, but he also displayed a lack of regard for customers. Despite repeating our order twice, Danny still managed to miss my husbands breakfast entirely. To add insult to injury, when his meal finally arrived, it was significantly delayed and unacceptable. The lack of respect shown towards both customers and coworkers is concerning and highly unprofessional. I cannot recommend Omega Cafe based on this experience. Respect for customers should be their top priority.

I didnt have a good experience at this restaurant and I absolutely do not recommend it. Especially with a person named Danny who exhibited completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. In my opinion, its better for you to work more on your behavior before you think about the quality of your food!

Very poor customer service.

I went to the Omega cafe recommended by a friend for brunch at 10:50 in the morning on 2024/4/17 (Wednesday). I ordered beef sandwich and a cup of coffee. It was really delicious. My friends ordered other items and chatted while eating. , the atmosphere of the restaurant is good, I will order some other meals to try next time I visit.

This place is awesome!!!! I love the steak sandwich and fries combo. Some of the best fries Ive ever had and its super close to my work!!!! Love it

Perfect choice for breakfast

I have been coming here for years and am always warmly greeted by the owner. He remembers you by name and makes you feel welcome and valued, which goes a long way (especially these days)! And of course, who doesn t enjoy home-made food?!

Had a great breakfast of sausages and eggs with toast and real fried potatoes. Topped off with an excellent cup of fresh coffee. Pleasant staff.

Great food, staff and atmosphere. Once we found Omega it has become one of our very favourite spots. Danny and Lisa are wonderful owners and the quality of food is always great! Our whole family love it!

Came to this cafe on a whim whilst waiting for my car to get serviced. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Although simple, it felt like a well made wholesome meal I was able to enjoy at my leisure. The building felt clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. I will be sure to visit again in the future.

Wow, the hamburger meat and bread are really good. It has a Vancouver atmosphere, and is perfect for Korean tastes.

The food was awful. Chinese (HK?) diner fair. Very strange choices of ingredients and low quality.

Amazing food; I had the club and it was perfection from the crisp but thick bacon to the bun that balances structural integrity with a reasonable bite. Fresh and crisp veggies and real turkey, not the over- brined stuff. Kudos!

So happy that we discovered this place. We went a few times so far and never got disappointed. There is no one best dish - all the ones we tried were very yummy.

Unassuming diner type restaurant in Port Moody. Order at the front and seat yourself. Good breakfast and lunch menu. Had the cheeseburger and fries. Burger was pretty good. Fries were fresh and crispy. Had lunch on a weekday, was pretty quiet and relaxing. They seem to have a lot of regulars, which is a good sign!

I havent been back in awhile but have been a customer for many years. I just went back recently and it is pure nostalgia, their shepherds pie is to die for and so many new specials they have each day. A hidden gem of a location. Owner is incredible and hardworking

Easy to find a table on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered the clubhouse sandwich with fries. Portions are huge. Sandwich also had avocado and sprouts, which was a refreshing touch. Fries remind me of the ones from Costco - so crispy. So good. Would come here again. The pulled pork sandwich looked good, but it was sold out.

Just had a meal at Omega Cafe. Wont be going back. They forgot the bacon with the eggs, bacon and toast... Had to ask them twice for it. I asked for my egges to be over hard.... No runny yolk at all. Twice to send it back for runny eggs... Didnt wait for the third round to come out. Hashbrowns were lovely.

Best place for a good wholesome sandwich and a great bowl of soup. We visit every time we are working in the area. Every thing is fresh and homemade!

This is a rare gem in Port Moody. We had a group of 7 people and ordered various types of breakfasts. The seating environment was comfy and relaxing. I loved my order on the bacon and eggs toasts and latte which were yummy and in generous portion. Servers were attentive and customers-focused. Hope to be back very soon!

This little gem is a must. The food is really good, I have never once been disappointed by anything here and the fries are particularly awesome. The prices are really good, its hard to find a place where 2 people can eat for less than 25$ but you certainly can here. Best little breakfast spot, Id call it a greasy spoon but it really isnt, its a lovely, well priced, and very clean spoon. Go there and eat fries.

This palace has some of the best breakfast food my partner and I have ever had. Weve been coming here for almost two years and its delicious every single time. Not to mention the people working there are so friendly! I would recommend this place everytime.

We were visiting from Yukon and randomly found this cafe. The owner was so kind and very friendly. Clean space and very delicious food with good portion. Will visit definitely next time.

All was delicious and perfect

First and definitely last time I come to this place. The server guy needs a coffee before he stars his shift or something. Absolutely screwed mine and my friends orders. We were served the wrong order repetitively for 3 or 4 times, like seriously? Besides his attitude like he was right, and still he kept screwing our orders. When I ask for a refund, the person in the kitchen tried to justify his mistakes also with a horrible attitude. Pretty poor customer service and they definitely do not know how to handle THEIR OWN MISTAKES. Don t waste your time/money there s way better places to go for breakfast and at least with a good customer service.

All I had was bacon, eggs, and toast, but I was pleasantly surprised. For a cheap generic breakfast, this meal had flavour. Scrambled eggs were great, and the hashbrowns were too. Had the deluxe burger with fries and everything was good. My plates presentation was good and the place is really clean. Parking is easy and sidewalks were cleaned and salted after a huge snowfall. Ill be back.

Not impressed, garden omelette was ok, but strawberry smoothie was completely frozen and impossible to drink. Also too much sugar. My parters scrambled egg sandwich was oily.

moderately good breakfast place! but I was a little bit disappointed coz they don t have eggs benny in their menu. All my friends ordered the garden omlette which they said was good. Items are very selected and minimal, overall not bad, good breakfast place in Port Moody!

Update: I am changing my review to 5 stars. I went back again and got vietnamese ice coffee with my partner and noticed that it was a lot lighter than usual and very watery. I dont typically ask for food to be taken back so I did not say anything. The owner had seen that the coffee was made incorrectly and immediately took it back and remade it for us without being asked to! I think the amount of care and pride that the family puts into their food is truly amazing. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone! Great food and atmosphere! Its a cute little place tucked away in the corner. The service was a bit disorganized. The server took our burger to the wrong booth before realizing it was ours and they didnt include fries even though we had ordered fries with our meal. It might have been a miscommunication due to the masks making it difficult to hear one another. I would still recommend this cafe uthough as the food was much better than I had anticipated!

Came in this morning for the first time and got their scrambled eg sandwich with ham on it, and a cappuccino. Super friendly service, I could see the smile behind the mask and it was very welcoming. And let me tell you, that sandwich was absolutely amazing!!! Scrambled eggs were made perfectly and on the cheese bun. Omg 500 stars

Place was nice and everyone seemed clean and friendly but I had a black hair on my slice of bacon ( didn t say anything because I didn t want my man to feel weird about his own plate of food) and then the server took my plate away before I was going to eat the only sliver of watermelon that I was looking forward to :( People were wholesome and I ve got nothing against the place, I just had bad luck I guess.

Went in expecting a nice reasonably priced lunch. What I got blew my mind. The food here is astounding. The price is great. I got the BLT. It came with fries, watermelon, cucumber and bean sprouts, and an absolutely great presentation. You just dont see this kind of thing at this price-point any more. The BLT was 100% delicious and refreshing. Fries were excellent. The real MVP however was the chicken noodle soup. I have no clue what magic goes into that, but it was divine. I will be going here much more in the future. I wish I could give it 10 stars out of 5.

A neighborhood gem that never disappoints. This is a quality diner that really delivers on being satisfying but not a greasy spoon. My guilty pleasure is their creamy chicken pasta. Ive never had a version of this dish that didnt make me feel sick after, until I had the version from Omega. Its sauced perfectly, with plenty of fresh and crisp veggies, tender chicken breast strips, and juicy grilled prawns. Truly a place Id never hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Been coming for 10years, food is home cooked feels, I LOVE their burgers and fries. Breakfast is great too. The owner Danny also makes his own donuts ! Never disappointed, service is always great.

Friggin great hidden gem! Came here late morning on a Wednesday randomly with my lady. I had the ham a cheese omelet. It was better than most for sure. My lady had the club sandwich and gave it rave reviews. Owner was friendly as could be.

Casual little diner, came here cause I was in the area and looking for some brunch past 3pm, reviews seemed great. Food is delicious with very generous portions, cappuccino is also delicious. Menu is super small, we did expect a little more, but no disappointments.

My favorite spot in Port Moody.Great food always, I come here often. Dont question the newest rash of bad reviews they were a covid protest, when they did not get seated without covid passport. They all ordered pickup before showing up to hurt the business. You people are the worst part of society. Truly terrible people, fighting to stay in your ignorance.

This is the best breakfast in Tri-Cities. The food quality is better than Cora or IHOP and cheaper too. The roast potato is always amazingly well done. The Garden omelette is very unique. Everything is made with lots of care. They starts at 7:30am in the morning which is perfect for me to have my meal before work. This place is clean and the owner is super friendly. It will be your regular place once you tried it.

Omega Cafe is a great place to get a cheap yet filling breakfast. Whenever I come out to Port Moody for a summer hike, I always stop in for a chicken omelet (no more than $14 with tax) which comes with slices of toast and hash browns. You definitely get the best bang for your buck here.

Came here after a morning of solid fishing at a Sasamat Lake. Had the clubhouse sandwich and chicken salad sandwich. Both delicious made with fresh ingredients and perfectly filling. Excellent customer service with super friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back here!

At first I thought that the lunch items were a bit pricey, but I was wrong! The excellent quality of the soups, salads, and sandwiches justified the price range. One of the two soups of the day was a delicious, thick, chicken and corn (with other vegetables diced into the mix). The tuna salad toasted whole grain sandwich was bulging with very flavorful tuna mixed with celery, and presented with small wedges of watermelon, sliced tomato, and cucumber! Much better than having standard fries. The clubhouse sandwich came on a ciabatta bun and also included slices of fruit and veggies. The Greek Salad was exceptional, including a variety of really fresh vegetables that are rarely served in even the specialized Greek restaurants... and the large side salad was only $5.99! Coffee for under $3 is seldom found at restaurants nowadays, but here it was. We enjoyed it so much that we wish we had tried it a few years ago, and we will definitely return. The picture of the homemade chili looks awesome, so that will be my choice next time. Danny and his wife work hard to provide great food at a reasonable price.
