REHANAHS ROTI AND TRINIDADIAN FOODS LOCATED O 2518 ST JOHNS STREET PORT MOODY CANADA
The food is so good but unfortunately the owner doesn’t seem to have much interest or joy in operating a business. Very strange hours. Randomly closed even during “open times”. But again, the food is great.
This is by far our favourite spot to go to eat ! We love coming here :) The food is delicious, well seasoned, and fresh. She gave us great recommendations to try and we’ve been going there since. Although it is cash only, it is always worth making the extra stop- you will not be disappointed.
Yo, the rotis at Rihanna's are the bomb! They're the best in the whole lower mainland, hands down. These days after covid, it's probably best to do takeout and take it down towards port moody park or hit one of the local microparies with a patio. Pair that beautiful ro tea with some of our local beers. You can't go wrong.
Kind of a burrito with meat and potato stuffing. It could be seasoned more and some carrots and peas would help make it more tasty. The filling was 60 percent potatoes with some chicken. It’s cash only and seems geared towards delivery.
Just moved here and my lady picked us up two goat roti and some beef patty. Dahl puri roti was so...SO GOOD and the beef patties were absolutely 🔥. Fantastic pastry. I guess you have to get it when the gettin's good. But all amazing things should be so exclusive. 10 out of 10 will be coming back. Thanks
My husband offered to take my daughter and I to Rehanah's Roti Shop in Port Moody, and I jumped at the opportunity to go there. It had been a few years since we last went there and I'd been itching to go there for awhile. As the name of the shop implies, they serve Roti, but not just any Roti...they serve Trinidadian style Roti. My mother was born and raised in Trinidad, so Trinidadian food holds a special place in my heart. Trinidadian Roti is basically a wrap sandwich that's filled with curried meat, vegetable or seafood filling. There's dhalpourie roti or paratha roti (also known as bussup shut). Rehanah's Roti sells dhalpourie roti. Difference between dhalpourie and bussup shut? The explanation I've heard is that bussup shut is "busted up" into tattered pieces. Roti: We ordered Shrimp Roti and Mixed Veggie Roti. Awesome flavour; however the filling is heavy with potatoes and sparse on the other ingredients. The Vegetarian Rotis are all under $10; however, the meat and seafood Rotis can be a bit pricey considering how much of the Roti is filled with potato. Service: Fair (One woman running the entire shop. She takes the order, runs the till, and makes the food.) Parking: Free street parking Location: On St. Johns St., which is a main street lined with shops and restaurants in Port Moody. It's a very small restaurant and as a result of the pandemic they only do takeout. There is however, a small table and chairs to sit and wait while your order is being prepared. There are so few places that serve Trinidadian food. This place is a precious commodity!
That's a really really good Trinidadian restaurant with authentic food and a very friendly owner who makes the food perfectly every time. Keep in mind it is takeout and cash only if you want to order doubles, you have to order it 24 hours in advance. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I've eaten a few Roti in my life and I'm very sure that Rehanahs is the best in the west coast hands down. Only time I've tasted anything close to hers was in Toronto. Rehanahs got west coast on lock. 🔐👑👑
cash only. they dont even take etransfer. keep in mind when visiting
The BEST Roti around, by far, and Rehanah is delightful! Recommend to everyone.
Small place. More like a takeout place.
Omg, I have never had such good Trinadadian food in Canada
Closed Early!
Ive tried to come here 5 times over the last year, each time closed. First time for a catering event, second time for 3 weeks in February, and the last 3 times with no reason posted during their operating hours. Never any warning since the website is non-existent and Facebook is rarely updated.
She s closed on Mondays but still served us come delicious chicken roti! Thank you!
Some of the best food Ive ever had! Super yummy
Had beef roti a few days ago (last week of March, 2024). Flavour and spice are right out of Trinidad! Would have taken a picture buttttt, the roti didn t last that long! Well worth your time.
Food was excellent..had the goat roti...was looking for roti done Trinidadian style..definitely going back for more
amazing roti!!
Friendly, welcoming service. Some of the best vegetarian food I have had in a while. Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian/vegan options that are very affordable.
Best roti I ve had. Cash only. It s also open for short hours so call ahead
Best roti Ive ever had.
How have I never left a review for Rehanahs??? My husband is Trini and when we moved here from out east, he was sad by the lack of quality Caribbean food. I stumbled upon this place and he still talks about it to this day! Come and support Rehanah, her food is absolutely delicious. If you want trini doubles you need to give her advanced notice.
Managed to get in even though it was supposed to be closed. Apparently, people were knocking on the door and she just opened as it was a catering day. I wish she was open every day. Price may appear to be expensive, but the portion is large, the food super fresh, and the quality up there. LOVE IT Rehanah. Keep up the superb work!
Wonderful person and absolutely incredible food.
Been going here for years now. I havent had one this year and was craving a beef roti today as its wet and cold. Rehanah is always pleasant and the food is so good. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended.
Great roti. Hot sauce is awesome.
Amazing Roti, the GOAT + SHIRPM the best. The lady is very nice and the Roti brought me memories from my youth.
Hands down the best Roti in the lower Mainland
Went to the chicken roti and had a chicken roti. It was very good. Cash only is a drag though. They close early and no dine in so maybe call ahead.
**** its really good roti. My first ever. My wife and I enjoyed the veggie combo. We will try the goat next. Impressive for one person running the show.
She makes the best rotis in the Lower Mainland, but they still dont compare to those made by Tropikis and Bindys in Winnipeg! My main beef is the dryness! Even though I ask for extra gravy, the roti is quite dry. They have ample potatoes, which I love, but there needs to be ample gravy, like the Winnipeg ones! Other than that though, Rehanah is friendly and accommodating!
Rehanah is the best and her cooking is SOOO good. I highly recommend this place for traditional Trinidadian food.
Her hospitality is second to none. She is kind, funny, yanks your chain and ensures that you are smiling while at the restaurant or when you walk out holding any one of her delectable Caribbean dishes. Lucky to have her setup shop, operate and survive through COVID. Hats off to this lady, tons of respect. Never seen anyone else but her running the operations. Over the years have tried a number of her creations and love every single one of them. You wont be disappointed and if you are, thats just a good sign to make an appointment with a therapist :)
6/13/2023. They are emphasizing catering. Roti skin taste old, not freshly made.
SO fresh and wholesome. Roti itself is pillowy soft and tender, filling is sooo flavorful. Thank you Rehanah!
Good luck. Btw, this place takes ONLY cAsH. Food
I called in today on Canada Day and the lady said they were closed and shed be there only for a few hours but that she could still make me some food. She was so so nice!!! I called later with the order for me and my friends. This was the first time I had roti and it was delicious! My friends came to PoMo from Kitslano because theyd heard her food is the best in the Lower Mainland. And it was so good. Great food. Best service.
Edit- wasn t being judgmental. Genuine question as to what is the best way to know when to visit. I did read the sign on the door which didn t say anything about if it was closed for only the specific day/time I visited, or how to know beforehand if it is going to be a open on any specific day. I also visited your google page again and read the other reviews to find out if am missing something about timing. This seemed like the best way to get your attention and get a response. Also strategically posted 3 stars as I haven t tasted the food and neither too high nor too low is fair. There is absolutely no need for being rude for no reason. - We have tried to visit 3 times now and each time found it closed even though google maps said it was expected to be open at that time. Is there a secret to knowing when to visit?
Amazing food originally went to taps and tacos, extremely disappointed, so I headed over to Rihanna s and large portions With great taste.
Ya Mon Wagwan! This is a great stop in Port Moody to get your island vibe on! Rehanah is a super great owner operator. Please bring CA$H no cards here. Food
One of my favorite lunch spots in Port Moody, no question. Food is amazing every time and service couldnt be better. Hours can be hit or miss, Id recommend phoning ahead, but its always worth it.
Perfect
Absolutely amazing place and lovely woman. For the first time I watched through the little window to see her making the food, I never realized just how, to order the food was, shee rolled out the dough to make the skin, fried up the raw protein and didnt all while I waited. Its usually no more than 5 minutes, so I always assumed it was fresh today, not fresh right now! Atmosphere is a little dated, but its a good place, not an ambience place. Also noticed signs on the table saying they would be going to takeout and catering only. Meat roti will run you about $20 at todays price, after tax. Well worth the price! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian section of menu Kid-friendliness: Its just a simple restaurant with friendly people Wheelchair accessibility: Single floor, no large transition at the door, regular sized door.
I almost cried it was so good
I ve been eating here for 22+ years and it s always been incredibly fresh and tasty ! Best roti hands down.
Rehanah was lovely and warm, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the chicken roti and the goat roti, and both were amazing - flavourful, tender, the roti was probably some of the best roti Ive ever had. I will definitely be going back.
Incredible roti. Cash only.
This place is a gem. Love the food....I have been going here for years and the food is always consistent, always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend Rehanahs Roti for a taste of the Caribbean.
Whenever Im on the mainland I try to swing by Rehanahs for some big, tasty, authentic Trini roti. If you have the luxury of living nearby and havent tried her food yet, go. NOW
Food is extremely delicious
I really wanted to like this place, I actually didn t even get to eat here. I guess I had a different expectation when I walked in: they were surprised when I walked in and said I wanted to dine there, it s take out only. And cash only, no debit or credit. so I walked out empty handed, in search of another place to eat around.
I love this place. It s the best roti I ve ever eaten. In fact, I d find it challenging to imagine any place in Canada that has better. My only problem with this place is that Google says it closes at 4pm and I m outside this place right now and it s closed. I m here ahead of time to get my roti and I don t live closeby. Pls keep your hours and serve your customers pls.
Simply the best Roti s around
After having Roti from Vancouver to Toronto, over 25 years, Rehanah is still the undisputed Queen
The best!! My dad used to take me here as a kid and I m so thankful to rediscover it. The drive from Richmond is well worth it
Goat and shrimp roti. Sooo good.
Unreal. So delicious. Can t wait to come back
Rehanahs food ALWAYS have de LOVE. Honestly THE BEST Trini food you can buy - highly recommended fuh when u need de taste of HOME Keep up the GOOD, Rehanah!!!
Second time at Rehanahs, second time I came back empty handed :/ First time I drove from UBC and the restaurant was closed. Second time (today) I drove from New West and she was there, but she said she was not open. Opening hours on Google/Facebook page are clearly misleading. I do not think it is nice how this establishment treats their customers. Its almost as though their customers are disposable to them. Cmon man, theres something called social media where you have presence! If you cannot keep consistent hours, at least be upfront about that, and let customers know when you do plan to be open or something, sheesh! I do not plan to give this place another shot.
Awesome gem in PoMo for very tasty Roti, Rehanna is a gem too!
Omggggg just tried this place for the 1st time and it is fabulous. I was missing food since moving from Toronto. This place did not disappoint. Amazing. Fresh and fantastic taste.
Eating goat or chicken roti at Rehanahs is very satisfying. We like our dishes spicy so this works for us. Eat in or take out, its delicious either way!
Best eva so authentic Trinidadian food
Awesome must go there and get the curry goat roti with curry gravy sauce over top Thats awesome and the shrimp a big shrimp more like prawns when you get the shrimp roti she has also a combination of goat and shrimp I tried that today that was excellent
Food is good, when they are open. The past year the Rotis have been getting smaller and the business hour are getting shorter and shorter. Drove from Vancouver several times in the past month, store is open but she says shes closed for catering. So i called ahead as suggested, either the phone goes unanswered or theyve run out of food by 1pm! It never used to be like this, so inconsistent. Its disappointing. Thankfully there are more caribbean restaurants opening in the GVA so i feel this place will loose alot of customers. Its very frustrating and disappointing when you take your customers for granted. Ive pretty much given up on this place.
Just like I remembered from 25 years ago absolutely delicious. Next time Ill remember to pre order some doubles, havent had those since I went to Trinidad in 98 and Ive missed them.
Best rotis on the west coast!
Sooooooo goooood.
Always so fresh and delicious! Rehanah is so lovely and friendly! Any time I call, she remembers my name and usual order. :)
Always worth the drive out to port moody!
The best in town
Amazing rotis!! The goat is my favourite! Rehana has got her food dialed in! I try to treat myself once a month! My mouth is watering just writing this review!
Absolutely delicious.
waiting on the line, lady just came in and said its not taking more orders. Small and amateur business. Do not recommend! on top of that it only takes money
Best roti in BC hands down. I like Caribbean food, especially jerk chicken and oxtail but when it comes to roti, Rehanahs is the best around. The right amount of spice, the roti is chewy and fluffy, the meat and potato ratio is just right. Cant think of any cons but just like with anything special you gotta take effort to get it: as in make sure to call ahead to see if it is open and there is no online ordering (and probably never will). Im sure there are a bunch of diehard fans of this place that it will be in business, regardless of the odd hours sometimes.
Great food and service! Owner is super friendly and welcoming. have been going here for years and years!
Absolutely delicious!
Chicken roti was delicious! Big portion. I would highly recommend.
awesome Roti, great food
Holy smokes. Freaking delicious and Rehanah is the nicest person ever!!
This place is great and so is the food . Highly recommended.
My husband LOVED the goat roti, and the veggie combo roti was incredible! Well be back!
Im a bit torn here. The food is really good, the roti is excellent and its stuffed with tasty ingredients but the menu is very limited. Im going to return and try the pre-order only items and see if they are much different than the 3 roti we ordered. The food is a bit pricey - it was $40 for 3 roti (chicken, beef and goat) with no drinks or sides. Everything is handmade and quality is not an issue. No dine in, limit 2 people inside, cash only.
Amassing!!!
Being from Toronto, we have an abundance of west Indian food. However here in BC theres about 4-8 to choose from. REHANANHS IS THE BEST! Not only is the food fresh to order (less than 10 mins or you can order ahead for on the spot service) but Reh is super kind and genuine. The food is perfect being as I grew up with my grandmother making all this food for me at home. I lost my grandmother a few weeks ago to covid so my recent trip to the shop was for no other reason than the way Reh resembles her. REH your the best, thank you for giving me somewhere to feel like I am home and in ways still have an amazing woman to cook food for me while Im out here. This place is like Home.
Great food. Cash only Closed at 3pm Friday
We had the medium spiced chicken roti. So delicious and flavorful. The roti tender and the chicken moist and full of flavour. The owner was very kind and helpful to me as a newbie. I will come back here in a heartbeat and will try the goat roti next!!
The sweetest ever
Had the shrimp roti and it was delicious. very limited hours.
I ve been here twice now and if I lived closer I would definitely be a regular. The goat roti was particularly good. I got medium spiciness which was not overly hot. I d probably try hot next time. Overall I would highly recommend trying this place if you like Jamaican roti.
Drove 45 min to get a Trini roti. Very tasty! Worth the drive. Been a long time since having such a good roti. Just like being home in the 6.
Delicious and authentic! Best roti I ve had in a long time
Rehana never answers the phone. And if you drive all the way from Vancouver to Port Moody on a Saturday at 12:00 pm the restaurant door will be closed but hours on the door card say open at 11 am. I wonder if a famous Toronto roti shop opens a location down the street, if Rehana will show up to work on time to server her customers...?
A Caribbean festival for my mouth! We ordered the Goat Roti (hot) and were in no way disappointed. My wife, who has a higher tollerance to spicy/heat said some bites were a little too hot for her, but I found my roti perfect, so if you have sensitive taste buds to spicy, best to go mild to medium. The best part was that there was plenty of meat. The potaoes within the stew mixture were creamy in texture which was a beautiful balance to the tender morsals of meat. The roti was flakey and held together right up to the last bite. This was home cooked with love and it was clearly evident from the time of our arrival until the last OooooH YUMMY
The best.
Delicious Delicious
One of those restaurants that you crave and have to get once you start thinking about it! A one of a kind taste! Highly highly highly recommend!
Both she and her food are incredible. my favourite local spot.
Amazing food
Cash only. Must order a day in advance, by phone. The goat/shrimp roti is my favourite. Portion size is good.
Riding by with my wife on the motorcycle in the fast lane when my wife taps me on the head. Stop here stop! Apparently Rehanah isnt open often and when she is you better stop. Had a chicken roti and damn it was good.. Thank you!
Amazing Trini food!
This was highly recommended by a Trinidadian friend. The roti are giant! The first few times, Id order two, and hardly manage to scarf down one. My top recommendations are chicken and shrimp. They lost a single star because sometimes I show up during their posted open hours and theyre closed. This spot is cash only.
Changed my life
best roti in town
We love the welcoming environment and the delicious authentic roti!
My favorite spot when Im in Port Moody. Authentic Trini food.
Everything is lovely here!
The best roti in the lower mainland. Ive been coming here since 1999. Flavourful and filling rotis .the best!
Very very flavourful! Heads up they are closed until March 5 opening again March 6
I dont like to leave bad reviews, but this experience warrants one. Thought wed try this place out since the reviews looked decent. Walked in and the lady working there said be right with you. Cool, no prob. So while checking out the menu she comes out to say shes not really open today,12:30pm on a Saturday when hours stated 11:30am open. But, she said shed make something for us. Ok, so ordered 2 veg rotis abd another item she said was not available. She then said You will get this to go. Ok, so we are now feeling like an inconvenience as paying customer. I asked for a bag of plantains, she slams them down. Is that everything? Yes I thought so. We pull out a card, she says huffing and puffing Im only accepting cash. As Im looking for some cash she storms off to the back to prepare our food. I stopped a second and thought. Why am I here? All I wanted was a delicious lunch. Why would I pay someone to treat me with disrespect and demanding my money? So I looked back at her and said forget it. I have never been treated like such an inconvenience. As a customer this was my first and last visit to Rehanahs. Pitty I didnt get to try the food. But I will only support businesses that are friendly and food prepared with love. (On a positive note, we went to Jamaican restaurant in New West which was the complete opposite. Friendly, informative and delicious!)
What a great, tasty, unique takeaway! Definitely coming back again.
Love this place! Went there last week and she remembered me being there over a year ago. Lovely personality and great food! Would go there over and over again
This is legit roti. Super tasty, authentic, amazing. Grew up eating this in Toronto, this place has got the goods.
Amazing food!
Another gem of Port Moody. Rare and unique.
Outstanding food...fantastic owner. Small eat in area but also does take away. Cash only. Please support Rehanna in these trying times...shes accepting orders over the phone for take away...still great food.
Amazing food. Wonderfully nice lady. Plan to go early in the day.
This is the best place. Rehanah is so friendly and generous. The food is unreal. I go out of my way to stop here when I can. Make sure you bring cash!
We have been waiting to try Rehanahs for over a year, and oh my God was the wait worth it! We got to Ms.Rehanahs shop just a few minutes before close and she was more than happy to accomodate us. We were met with her friendly smile and service and had the best conversation. It is clear that she puts love and care into everything she does from the exceptional food to her great service. Coming from Toronto I have been on the search for good authentic Rotis since moving to BC and I have been consistently disappointed. Yesterday I finally tasted heaven! We had the Chicken Roti and shared a Prawn Roti (we could not resist). The rotis themselves were perfect, and the daal puri was on point! The filling had the perfect ratio of protein and potato and the flavour...chefs kiss. This was particularly impressive for the prawn as most places even in Toronto tend to skimp on the seafood, but the roti was stuffed generously and the prawns were big, plump, and perfectly sweet, with that flavour and pepper...salivating just thinking about it. Cant wait to go back to try the doubles and the beef roti. If you are looking for authentic West Indian/Trini fare look no further. This is worth the trek!
As a Trini living in Vancouver, I ve tried a few places that make roti, however none are on par with Rehanah s! The turmeric colour on the dhalpouri was exactly what it should look like, it let me know right away that THIS is going to be a roti. And the taste had me feeling like home!!! Highly recommended!!!
best roti in western canada ive had
Rehanah has the best Roti in greater Vancouver by far. I have been coming here for over 25 years. Rehanah is one of my favourite people on earth, she is always so sweet and welcoming. If you havent tried Rehanahs Roti yet you are missing out!
Such wonderful rotis and patties
I just had the shrimp and goat roti... Omg! I would never pick that combo but it was recommended by many of my customers... Did not disappoint... And its huge! Check it out soon!
Absolutely love this place. Been coming here for years and never disappoints. The owner/cook is lovely and welcoming. The food is delicious and worth the drive out to Port Moody!
Amazing Roti. We tried shrimp & goat and chicken medium heat with a side of hot sauce. Both were delicious. I want to try the mango chutney next time. Only open for lunch ~11:30-3pm. Closed Sunday. Cash only. Take out. Best lunch spot in Port Moody!
Best Ive had outside of the Caribbean
Goat Roti is so good
Goat curry Roti was fantastic. Ill be back.
I looked up Rehanahs when I got a craving for roti and am so glad I did. It was fantastic! This is a great hole-in-the-wall for anyone looking for a delicious lunch in Port Moody. Cash only.
I got a chicken rotti and I thought itd not be enough for me, however, I couldnt finish it! I never had chicken rotti, so I cant compare it to previous experiences, but this was a tasty and moist sandwich. Next time Id like to try it with chickpeas. I had also asked for beef patties, but they had already finished them, so that tells me the lady/owner makes them fresh, which is awesome. Id love to try beef patties at this place.
Fabulous
One of my all time favourite places to eat, absolutely delicious!!!
Best roti Ive ever had. Remeber to bring Cash :)
Excellent food. And makes her own hot sause... Very tasty indeed!
The best rotis I have had. The beef with medium/hot sauce is the best. The chicken is great too. It is going to be a regular place to eat. Also very quick service.
Wonderful food, wonderful proprietor.
Amazing food but please change your google hours for Sunday; as I thought that you were open, only to find you closed :(
This was the best roti I have had in years! Hands down the best roti in BC! I highly recommend, and will definitely be returning!
The best place for an amazing, authentic, hole-in-the-wall lunch. Have been coming here for 10+ years and Rehanah never lets you leave without giving you a smile. Note: cash only.
10/10. Would recommend. Great flavour. Fantastic service.
Delicious roti, made solely by Rehanah herself. Nice spice level. Bring cash. And stick to the roti...the patties are meh.
Very good, tried chicken and goat
Waiting to order at 215, the owner comes out of the kitchen and says Im closed I was so turned off by the owners customer service.
Awesome roti wrap! I had the chicken and the shrimp. Had a tough time deciding which one was my favorite, in the end the shrimp wins, too fresh and tasty!! The chicken was also very good, potatoes perfectly cooked. All I can say is just do it! Its worth it
Its addictive. Cash only and short hours. Sometimes she sells out. Maybe shes playing hard to get, but its working.
Love this place...just wish I knew when it was open or not. The hours on the sign are not accurate. The owner is really friendly and the food is fantastic. The goat is the best!
Edit: Having just visited as of October, 2019, I can say that Rehanah had raised prices by over 20%. Im just not sure if the goat with three shrimp are worth $16.50. I had to take one start off. The very best of home-style cooking - large portions of delicious shrimp and goat rotis.
Best Roti in Vancouver! It is always a treat stopping by an getting a goat or shrimp roti and the combo of shrimp and goat! Wayyyyyy boyyy. I always try to call in advance and place my order for pick up cash only but there is a bank right across the street just incase you need. Great place for authentic Trini food.
Perfect!
I missed this place! I used to go here regularly when I worked in the area. Rehanahs roti are the best. The roti are nice a soft and full of flavour, as are any of the excellent fillings you can choose from.
I knew about this place for so long and heard alot of good things about it but never had the chance to eat there because it closes early and is closed sundays and mondays. I finally had the chance a week back and got 3 rotis, the goat, meat combo and vegetarian. All were amazing. Spicy is actually spicy but you can get mild or medium too The owner is also super nice and the second time I went she was actually closed because she was doing a catering order and I cluelessly walked in and she still took my order. I highly recommend this place if you want to eat the best roti EVER!
Delicious! Our first time trying it, and well be back! A small hole-in-the-wall that is easy to miss, has only a couple of tables, and is cash only. But the food was very good, and so was the service. Definitely recommend for something different to try.
Simple, delicious roti. Recommended!
Unbelievably good. Perfectly cooked. I would recommend for most people that you buy the mild, and get some side hot sauce. The owner makes everything from scratch, and it shows. Youre not getting some generic food with here. She puts love into this. I have only tried the goat , but others I was with ordered the chicken and loved it as well. If you have a large order, call ahead. This is way better than ordering a generic sandwich, and for large groups its way cheaper and much better food than ordering a generic platter from a chain store. *Pro tip: Be very careful with the extra hot curry. Its absolutely delicious, but you will not be prepared for the heat.
Delicious Roti and well worth the trek from downtown. Found out the owner used to work at my favourite Roti place back in Ontario, the goat easily lived up to my expectations and was super tasty. I look forward to coming back and trying more!
Food is too salty and dry
The roti is definitely delicious. A Trinidadian lady that went to the place told me that in Trinidad they had the roti not in warp, but in plate. She recommended to eat it like a pancake/or waffle with toppings.
I have been eating at Rehanah s Roti for over 16yrs. It s The Best Roti s In BC, hands down. Soul food cooking. Filling. Rehanah herself is ever so friendly. Thank you Rehanah for filling my stomach all these years.
I love this little place. No bells and whistles. I call ahead always. As far as I understand when the owner sells out the shop is closed. Ive tried the goat, chicken, veggie and veggie combo. Both the goat and veggie combo are my favorites. Ive heard the goat sells out fast.
The best roti in Vancouver.
Tasty rotis. Love Rehanaha
Authentic roti made fresh daily with meat and veggie options. Rehanah is an amazing lady Stop by the shop and experience Trinidadian cuisine, but don t leave without trying her homemade hot sauce!
Best roti in town. But limited quantity. Closes early. Doesnt have full menu consistently. Best you call first.
Authentic!... Best Roti in the Lower mainland
I had never hat Roti before but we came here on a friends recommendation. It was absolutely delicious and we will definitely come back next time were in Port Moody.
Not many roti shops in the area so Im glad Rehanahs exists. The veg combo roti is fantastic.
This is one of the best places for food in Port Moody. I order the lamb and shrimp roti with a good amount of spice. We also ordered the potato roti and we re not disappointed. Service was slow because it s just Rehanah working but she was very friendly and it was worth the wait. Can t wait to go back.
The best roti in Vancouver! Shrimp and goat roti is my favorite
Zero star for the Coustomer service Food is ok
.Love her food!
Hands down best roti I ve ever had in Canada ! Food is highest quality and made with love . A genuine authentic Roti experience . This has become a weekly tradition for us .
This is the hidden gem of Port Moody....Ive been coming to Rehanahs for over 15 years and her rhoti are simply mouth watering. Always perfectly spiced with amazing flavour, Rehanahs rhoti are to die for. I dont say that lightly. Shes an amazing woman who I hope will give me her recepies before she ever decides on retiring, but I have a feeling that will never happen....
This gem of a place is a must go if you are planning to visit the brewery row. The down to earth atmosphere has limited space but you can take the authentic homemade rottis to go. Most of the breweries in the area allow outside food in their tasting rooms. The hours are limited because its a one woman show. Youll see how its worth all the shortcomings once you taste the delicious offerings. I recommend the shrimp and goat if you have adventurous taste buds.
Great customer service. Good for take outs.
The best Roti in the city!
Now this is how you make roti!!
My family and I have been enjoy this place for 20 years now and we haven t lived in Vancouver for the past 15 years. I m writing this as we are driving to Victoria from the interior of BC. We will be making a significant detour just so we can enjoy another goat roti!
100% best Caribbean food in the entire lower mainland. Ive tried probably five other places looking for good roti and none of them hold a stick to Rehanahs. Ive easily been eating at this restaurant for 15 years with my family
Good roti.
Very authentic and delcious. Great place to go if youre looking to try trinadadian roti. Service and seating is limited as Rehanah operates the place all on her own; shes the cook, cashier, server and everything else. So be patient, check the hours and bring cash (cash only).
Love this place.
