2800 Murray St, Port Moody, BC V3H 1X2, Canada
Waterfront recreation area with a pier, pool, skate park, restaurant, playground & boat ramp.
It's a nice place for a walk and to get some fresh air. Even though there wasn't an event, it was hard to find parking, so we had to park along the roadside and paid 3 dollars for 1.5 hours. There was an incredibly long line for ice cream, so we decided to skip it. The coffee at the café was really good. It was a bit windy, but the smell of the ocean makes you forget everything. However, I’m giving it a minus point because drones aren’t allowed—it's a park with a drone ban
Fantastic park with beautiful scenery and well-maintained grounds! There’s so much to do here — a public pool, a variety of food stalls, breweries, and excellent walking and running paths. The children will love the water park, which is a fun addition. Whether you’re looking to relax or get some exercise, this park is perfect.
A really nice park with lots to offer. There were a bunch of shady areas, a playground, a spray park, and a trail. Rocky Point Park is a great location to check out with kids, especially the spray park.
Huge park that’s great for families and going kayaking or paddle boarding. It has a nice kids’ water park and the public washrooms are clean. It lacks shaded areas and needs more parking!
Breathtaking view from the dock and tranquility at its best when you walk through. Such a great picnic spot with children and mind relaxing jogging trails.
A great park all year round but summer is the best. The breathtaking views of Burrard Inlet. There were a long broad walk along the shore. But I didn't go to a walk for a long time. It's a good broad walk. A big water park and a pool in summer. It's good for whole family spending a day there. A big long picnic shelter is at the park. We go to the Golden Spike Days on Canada Day. It's a really nice day for the summer concerts. Happy see a lots of people enjoying the day with family and friends.

Lovely park with access to the water for boating. It has particular parking spots for vehicles with trailers carrying a boat. Also, there is an area for picnic and a dock to roam around. If you are lucky, then you may see a seal swimming around. Further by the edge of the park, there is an off leash dog park nearby as well.
Always enjoy my walks there
This is a great place for chilling. I mean you can even have picnic, hang out with friends, take your kid to playground or ride a bicycle around the area. There s also a ice cream place, restaurants, and or food to eat. Playground: Quite a good, big space for kids to play Toilets: Mostly clean restrooms. I can t recall whether they have a paper towel or not. Dog-friendliness: Almost everyone in here has dogs, but they re on leash. There is an off leash park close to playground. Picnic area: Everyone is picnic area just be careful not sit on geese poop :)
Clean and has something for everyone. It s a real community park! Playground: Good sized playground as well as a water park. Toilets: Located near the playground and waterpark. Picnic area: Undercover picnic long tables that can be reserved through the city or first come first served. Lots of concrete picnic table scattered around the park too!
Greedy City council put pay parking in!! But cant fix traffic in the area
If you love nature, water and the majestic beauty of Gods creation, this place will tick all your boxes. Its my happy go-to for calm and exercise. Playground: Its a beautiful space for children Dog-friendliness: Oh yes! There are lots of trails and areas for dogs to play Picnic area: Various areas scattered around the park
Nice park
Not very pointy ... or rocky. Feel like il own one of the houses across the river one day.
Scenic park overlooking ocean with boardwalk
Every weekday;)
best place to watch sunset
The view is wonderful during 4 seasons. Lots of parking plots and you can have a great picnic area.
Despite the light rain, beautiful
Playground: A very cool pirate ship themed playground Toilets: Free public restrooms
The best park around :)
Toilets: Nice clean
Rocky Point Park is a fantastic spot for a day out! With beautiful views of the water, scenic walking trails, and plenty of open space, it s perfect for all ages. There are picnic areas, a playground, and even a splash pad for kids. The pier offers a lovely view of Burrard Inlet, and you can often spot people kayaking or paddleboarding. There are also some great food options nearby, including ice cream and seafood. Highly recommended for a relaxing day in nature!
k Very nice place
Not anymore .Pay parking!
Beautiful park by the water at the head of Burrard inlet. Port Moody has created an area that is very walkable, playable and boatable, with good parking. Large, wide boat launch, very cool-looking water park, scenic views, green spaces and gentle walking paths to the pier.
Perfect escape from city life, without going far. No crackheads here, very clean and green
Nice park
Nice peaceful walking trails
Well maintained waterfront park with lacking restroom access Toilets: Locked early in the day. Not sure why. For the size of the park few restrooms
Excellent park, relaxing and suitable for walking. And discover pleasant places.
Way too crowded during the summer when launching your boat. Cars are constantly getting in your way and parking in the designated BOAT spots! It is BOAT parking only there! Not to mention the exorbitant price of $42 to launch and park. Which Port Moody says is to cover the cost to dredge the contaminated mud in the area. Not sure why boaters should cover the cost when the CITY should have made the industry that made it contaminated, pay for it. Lame excuse.
Good weather
Amazing atmosphere
Beautiful park. My only gripe is it needs more parking! Playground: Really awesome pirate ship playground and huge spraypark
Big park and resting area, having performance place, ice cream shop, many bars around, and shore line trail to walk
Pleasant walk along the water in a developed site Lots of people on this sunny Sunday
My son love it here
Playground: Nice playgrounds around
It s ok, a generic Canadian city park. Only reason it s getting a 4/5 is because of its proximity to Moody Centre Station. It s about a 10 min walk to the station that is essential for travelling to other parts of Greater Vancouver and vice versa.
Nice park, but not spectacular
Stupendous location for outing with family. Restaurant and transit nearby. Playground: Spacious ground for outdoor activities with a swimming pool area Dog-friendliness: Friendly people together with their pets. Bags available to pick up dog litter Picnic area: Open space with ocean view
Park itself is great. New pay parking is understanable, but machine says no card, only coins and apparently the coin part of the machine is not even installed. I check the app to pay, it only shows 30 minute increments. So if I drop around 2:20, I pay for an extra 20 minute with only hourly increments? If youre gonna implement parking regulations, at least get the payment sorted out before the new bylaw.. Will update review to a 5, once this kink is fixed..Not paying for an extra 20 or so minutes for a parking that I wasnt even parking for..
The best walking and picnic area in Port Moody. Playground: Offering a variety of tools and a small water park for kids, all in one place. Toilets: Clean, spacious, and close to the playground.
A family favourite for all ages. Great views, climbers, picnic space and ice cream store. Only frustrating part is the pay parking online especially for irregular visitors (visitor from out of province its a bit much to sign up and make a profile with a rental vehicle.) Recommend pRking elsewhere.
Playground: Picnic area:
My evening at Rocky Point was nothing short of magical. As the day gently transitioned to dusk, the air was filled with the calming scent of the ocean, a subtle fragrance that brought instant serenity. The soft whispers of the water mingled with the gentle breeze, making the atmosphere feel peaceful yet vibrant. The sunset was an unforgettable sight brilliant streaks of pink, orange, and gold reflected off the tranquil waters, creating a breathtaking view. The sky seemed to melt into the horizon, and for a moment, time stood still. Rocky Point at sunset is the perfect place to unwind, feel connected to nature, and soak in the beauty that the ocean offers. It s an experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and deeply content. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful escape!
5 minutes from my house very very nice picnic place
Nice playground except for one of the spinning pieces that seems to be jammed. Bar the goose poo, a great place to spend the day with kids. Fish n chips, ice cream, playground, water park, by the inlet. Paid parking now which is a stinker.
Very nice park with a nice pier and fish and chips. Water park is also very big. Pay parking has eliminated any poor families, so that s nice.
I never imagined that beyond the busy roads, railroads, and bridge over those railroad tracks, there would be such beautiful peace. A jewel-like park that I always wanted to go and sit in has taken root in my heart.
Small but good place for spending some time with family or friends.
Great park for walking and lots of activities for kids.
It was good experience
Great place to chill and eat lunch
Wow I love rocky point park
Great place to be if you want to see some great views! Toilets: There are public restrooms/change rooms!
Serene place with rolling mountains in the background and Burrard inlet in the foreground
This is a fantastic park. Spectacular views, swimming pool, skatepark, playground, walking path... And if course the ice cream shop. Only knock is that it gets a bit crowded and parking can be a pain, but it connects to other parks so maybe park at one of them and walk over!
A very fun place for family and friends with great views. Lots of activities around here. Good and easy trails for simple hike or bike. This place is popular and parking can be a challenge when weather is good.
Toilets: Only ONE restroom for the whole big park .lol The washroom behind the ice cream shop rocky point ice cream , just walk farther.
Took our 2 dogs for a walk and had ice cream. It was very clean. No goose poop and ice cream was delicious. Great experience. Too bad they are making it pay parking soon. Playground: Awesome lots to play on. Toilets: Clean and large Dog-friendliness: Very good for on leash walking
Boating Doc is very convenient
Scenic and enjoyable
Nice place to visit.
Port Moody always delivers. Very pretty area, and puts on the best events.
One of my favourite spots in the TriCities. Playground: Nice playground although a bit old. Very nice wsterpark. Toilets: There are restrooms. Dog-friendliness: On-leash trail and there is also an off-leash area. Picnic area: Good picnic areas
Beautiful and perfect.. Highly recommended.. anyone looking for ice cream, view, walk, run, play, picnic, sit, kayak, paddle, just perfect..
A quick visit smell of ocean nice park
Amazing experience! Definitely check it out!
good park with boat launch, spray park, playground, consession and pool. nearby resturants. Summer can get extremely busy and parking can be choaic. free parking as of Aug but saw signs noting pay parking coming soon. Playground: good for toddlers and older kids alike Toilets: public bathroom / chamge room. gets wet and a little nasty when busy. Picnic area: great for picnics, lots of open spaces.
Great Park, Pajos and Rocky Point ice cream is ridiculously overpriced
Great place to enjoy a stroll, picnic, kayak, eat, swim or just look at the scenery.
Great Park to spend the evening. I enjoyed walking on the trails a lot.
Cute playground for younger kids and an awesome spray park for everyone.
I love how this park is clean and has lots of seating area. Depends on the time of the day, park could get very busy. My niece enjoyed the playground while we are having lunch. One thing though, not enough washrooms. Playground: Kids friendly, woodchips on the ground. Toilets: Clean, but only one. You have to use the porta potty if being cleaned. Dog-friendliness: Pet friendly. Picnic area: Lots of open spaces for picnic.
Beautiful but can get quite busy. Lovely place for a walk or a relaxing day in the park
I went on July 21st, during the Bib festival. The event was very well organized, with about ten stalls from different countries, each grilling meats like chicken, beef, and pork to compete for the championship. There was also a live band performing to add to the excitement! There was a dedicated area for alcoholic beverages, including beer and cocktails. The sinks and toilets were very clean and convenient. There were plenty of seats, and paper towels were readily available on the tables, which is great because you need a lot of napkins when eating BBQ. There was security at the entrance, and no alcoholic beverages were allowed to be brought in. Overall, I had a great time! This event happens every summer!
Picnic area: A great place to spend time in summers
I spent a warm September afternoon and evening at a picnic event recently. A really beautiful oasis adjacent to Pacific Coast Terminals and the brew pubs and bars of Murray and St. John s streets.
We start jogging from this park to sassamet Lake. Good route.
Well maintained spot
Rocky Point is a beautiful waterfront destination with stunning views and plenty to explore. Perfect for a relaxing day out!
Great for families and friends gatherings. It has multiple facilities like kids pools, playgrounds, ice cream shops, sand shore, piers, and cafteria.
Peaceful, serene and well maintained
This place is our go-to site for any family outing. Great place to be around.
a splendid view at a different time and season is unforgettable.
Beautifull place. Its super easy to get there if you dont have a car. Just take the skyline train and walk a few minutes. It was a little busy, but it was Sunday. Still a place where you can walk, enjoy the view, and see some seals.
Green tea shots and Moscow mule were really good
Beautiful place where people come to walk, ride a bike, skate, etc., what draws the most attention for those of us who are not from here are the warning signs in case of encountering a bear... wow, I dont want to imagine hehehe ...and you cant leave without trying the delicious ice creams that everyone recommends!!
Nice park but the entrance is through an industrial area kind of dificult to navigate for visitors. Another drawback is the parking fee starting Sept. 16/ 2024
Great splash park and playground, and treat yourself to Rocky Point Ice Cream after!
Beautiful
Great place to visit. Ocean view lots of play are for kids.
