McDonald's in Port Moody

Its a good location as far as McDonalds goes. Not a very big location, though. Limited parking and seating.

i found a cookie in my burger so kind, wait time was the length of a pool (in hours) they didnt give me any straws for the 4 drinks they gave me, ive been drinking the ice tea by licking it with my toung (like what!) do they think im a dog?

Tried to walk in a half hour before closing, doors were already locked, I get its a fast food place but thats just insanely unprofessional.

I was waiting for my order for happy meal 20 minutes and when you talk to them just they don t care

You need to keep pressing on the water tap to get water, so you can not wash both hands at the same time. Also, no paper towels in the washroom and hands dryer does not work. Moreover, the front self ordering kiosks printer did not work, and the sales associate did not able to print a receipt using another printer; there was no printer out of order sign on that kiosk. Lots of tables were not cleaned after the customers. I had this experience when I visited this place on a Wednesday night.

Super small and very little place to park

Food poisoned this morning. I think something was up with the orange juice cus it tasted like soap and was fizzy.

I was at drive thru . Order taker barely understand English . Lady who gave me the food was unpleasant and grumpy looking. Last night Aug 28th I went to drive thru , I ordered a meal and glassware . They forgot my glassware and I had to come back. I was very upset and was talking to this Indian girl name Dilpreet . She did not handle the situation well in fact she was rude and trying to defend herself and answer me back . When a customer is very upset you should not add fire to it and she did obviously being so inexperienced . It might not be a big issue but by talking to her she is adding fuel to this issue . Avoid this place if you can . Thanks

This has to be one of the worst in the lower mainland, bad service, wrong orders and always give a hard time when trying to use coupons or purchase using the App.

This location is AWFUl. Pop is flat. Food is cold. Disgusting even for McDonalds standards

This particular location in Port Moody on St. Johns Street is likely one of the worst franchise locations in the area, considering there are only a handful of McDonalds locations in the Tri-City area within a 15 km radius. I have been to quite a few Mcdonalds locations in and around the lower mainland, and there is something about this location that unfortunately does not meet the standards or upholds any level of exceptional customer service. From the drive-thru attendees to the front counter clerks, even to the on-site daytime/evening supervisors, the franchise owner and the McDonalds brand needs to address the poor customer service at this location. It does not make for an inviting restaurant establishment.

I don t ever review McDonald s but this place deserves it. I ve been here 20+ times as I live next door it is very convenient. Big Macs are not supposed to taste like that. I live right next door and I stopped ordering Big Macs because of how bad they make it. The customer service is completely horribly as well. The staff are very rude. McDonald s never used to be like this kind of sad.

The cashier was very rude when I asked for 6 cheeseburgers to eat as I was with two of my friends. They also seem to forget how to make a cheeseburger when they are faced with such a great quantity. There was far too much mustard!

Good place to take your kids

Always understaffed takes forever to get food. Everytime Im there 3 people are running the store. The one girl has to take a break from cleaning to take my order and then make my food. Staff isnt lazy theyre working hard just not enough of them.

First off, these ratings are in the context of McDonalds vs other McDonalds. Having said that , its alright. Not the freshest fries or the biggest cones but they do have good staff working there :).

Worst McDonalds Ive been in, its just so messed up. Its 100 degrees out and they have no air conditioning going. Brutal, messed up my order and food was dripping grease.

Easily the worst McDonalds that Ive ever been to, which is crazy. There are a lot of them. I live in the area and have been a few times, theyve messed up almost every order. Drive through sucks and inside sucks. The food is typical McDonalds, although that is getting too expensive as well. Basically the service here is terrible and they need to hire some new people, or a new manager. No apologies or fixes for incorrect orders either. I dont think Ive ever had consistent problems like this with another McDonalds location.

The Sausage on the sausage and egg McMuffin was crunchy. Not in a good way. The BLT bagel had a whisper of toasting on it, and half a vat of mayo. Tomato was nasty and the lettuce looked like it was reject mcchicken lettuce. My go to McDonald s in North Van uses green leaf lettuce and it s always fresh. Staff was perfectly lovely to deal with, but I was the only person in the drive through and the parking lot was empty, so they definitely weren t stressed/too busy.

I was here on july 12 2024, 2pm the attended here was very rude was telling me to move my truck from parking and didn t even ask me for the order. I went from this freaking place without having any food and that lady with very poor skills didn t even bother to ask again. Wanna tell the management if she don t like her work tell her to stay home.

BLT didnt have bacon in it. Sprite had zero fizz. Parking lot design is so bad. The only way to exit the parking lot is through the same lane as the drive through, so you have to wait for everyone to order and pick up before you can leave. Trash left everywhere not cleaned up. So dirty. Worst mcdonalds ever. 0/10.

No A/C and no ice on a day thats over 30°C. I wish they had told me they didnt have ice before I ordered my fountain drink...... Not only theres no ice, the Coke was also flat.....

Absolutely the worst McDonald s I ve been too. Wouldn t give me my food because THEY couldn t find my order number when I showed them the receipt they told me to re order. I came to pick up my food another time (keep in mind I was on time to get it) and they just closed without giving me my food. The staff are SO rude and act like they don t want to be there. I wouldn t either but at least fake it. Everything comes out sub par. .5/10 don t recommend.

I went there and the price was different another store and when I asked why charged me for a paper bag and why coffee was a different price and the food price was deferment answered me that this store was corporate and by Port Moodys low

Quite possibly the slowest McDonalds in the western hemisphere. Only ones in the restaurant and still had to wait 15 minutes for our order around 8pm.

There is a drive-thru though its hard to find -- its underground. Enter at the far end of the building and youll come out beside the McDonalds. Quite busy during the Peak summer and Winter months. Parking: Theres no free parking anymore, so consider using their underground drive-thru or curbside delivery.

I have ordered a Oreo Mac flurry the past 3 times I gone here and every time they only fill the Oreo a quarter full and the rest is vanilla ice cream

Yesterday I went here around 6pm, it was not that busy staff where just talking amongst their selves, the person taking our order was not attentive at all, she continuously asked us to repeat my order 4 times. I didn t feel I eating there so I asked a take away bag refused to give it she said she will charge for the bag, i paid, I asked her so give me a bag with handle she refused to give me saying it s only delivery bag. I would not recommend going here.

Slow service, unprofessional did a take out on the app but payment did not go through, went in the store and waited 20 minutes to be served. They paid more attention to the cars in the drive thru.

The Big Mac taste really bad, the meat was so bad that the first bite I wanted to throw up. I had to wait 10 min for them to take my order , because they were all laughing and talking.

Please STOP the constantly changing menu screens. Hi can i take tour order? :No you cant you gonna have to wait because i was reading the menu and IT KEEPS CHANGING CONSTANTLY This is the stupidest idea i have ever seen in my entire life. This goes for ALL LOCATIONS. Stop! There are literally 10s of thousands people complaining about this. Why does mcdonalds insist on this idiotic and frustrating idea? Edit: eating my sandwich now and i got shredded lettuce in my breakfast sandwich. This is NOT what goes in an Egg BLT mc muffin. I dont mind too much but at least inform me first jeez.

Utterly disgusting. Avoid this location at all costs. Theres a much better establishment 5 minutes down the road in Coquitlam that Ive never had any issues with. I keep trying to give this location a chance (more out of personal convenience than anything else) but after this last visit thats it... I am never going back again, and I suggest you all do the same. The straw that broke the camels back was a McChicken combo tonight that was less edible, and more like a dangerous melee weapon. I swear it had been sitting under a heat lamp for the past week, and if I threw it at somebody Im pretty sure theyd end up in the hospital with a concussion. Im just happy I didnt break any teeth from the one attempted bite I tried to take out of it. This is just one story out of many bad experiences Ive had at this place. Now please excuse me while I rummage through the cupboards and try and find something to eat.

Horrible experience. Ordered 2 large fries for my kids on the app. Pulled into stall 1 and updated Im here in #1. Waited 10 to 15 min. no one came. Went inside asked where my order was no one was out to bring it to us. Manager said its sitting on the counter. Receipt says #2 on it. I said were in #1 waiting 10 to 15 min. Manager says nothing and takes the tray with 2 fries away. I said why isnt anyone bring out the order? Manager said I didnt order a bag. No apology, no well make you some fresh fries, nothing. I walked out. This is the customer service you get from a manager and when you overpay for 2 large fries for $10?

Good food good service

I went in with my wife to make an order and waited with no one else ahead of us in the line up. We kept waiting with the staff looking at us not caring that we were there. The women wearing the black manager shirt said Im off so I dont care if theyre waiting (in Punjabi) so I turned around and asked are you short staffed here? The other manager still on shift turned around apologized and said no sorry how can I help you? The other manager that was off started talking with the staff in the back in Punjabi thinking I didnt understand and said make him a special burger! The other staff turned around and said in Punjabi well make him an extra special burger. This is absolutely unacceptable unprofessional, unethical and quite disturbing! I highly do not recommend going to this location! (I am not one to leave bad reviews but this was quite disturbing!

Kitchen music was very loud and abnoxious (didnt mix well with the christmas tunes in the seating area)and forgot 4x fries with order of 4 meals and when they corrected it they still only gave me 2x fries. On a good note, we got some of our order.

This location is the worst one I bought from it, they gave me fried potatoes frozen , and mixed between my order and my friends order .

I recently visited this MacDonalds location and unfortunately had a very negative experience. The staff took my order 10 minutes after I arrived and then informed me that they didnt have the item I had ordered. When I pointed out that I had seen the item in the tray, the staff were rude and unhelpful, and the managers behavior was even worse. The manager was extremely rude and did not even apologize for their mistake. Their attitude was unacceptable and made me feel disrespected as a customer. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this location. While I have had positive experiences with McDonalds in the past, this particular location needs significant improvement in terms of customer service and management. I hope that McDonalds can address this issue and ensure that no other customers have to go through a similar experience.

Always stop by here for drive-thru. Great and speedy service. They always get my coffee order correct.

This is a place I visit at least once a week. French fries are always warm, crispy, and delicious. The staff are also friendly and nice. Its a very nice place.

They are charging for their bags now and if you say no they will literally hand you the burger. Only in Port Moody apparently since it is bylaw... Saving the world unless you pay for bag, if you pay dont worry about the world. Oh by the way, it makes zero sense to cut corners via paper bags since McDonalds itself is a huge contributor to carbon foot print in the first place. No offense to staff there and I know it wont make any difference to management but I wont be coming back. Thanks.

Hopeless. Ordered chicken big mac, they put a regular big mac in the chicken big mac box. Its actually pathetic that they would pull this. It just shows how incompetant they are.

Stay hungry but not get food from here

I happened to drop in for a coffee on Sunday morning and the lady at the cashier counter start serving only Uber drivers waiting to pick up orders..and completely ignored the line in queue for cup of coffee for about 25 minutes..even though the lady saw many times people waiting in queue completely ignoring was worst part and lousy customer service ever you can get..I got to draw attention to other staff as this lady continues to ignore the line.. worst customer service ever .!

Service was disappointing, the young guy taking the order was chatting with this girl customer for a very long time about the most random stuff, and was avoiding eye contact with the customers waiting in line, after a while we just left without ordering. Giving two stars for cleanliness.

The place is very small, there were not many people, there was enough staff and still they couldnt cope, they served us quickly, but there were people who had been waiting for their food for longer, a little annoyed. The soda machine was all over the place with soda everywhere. The food was the same as all McDonalds and the children still enjoyed their happy meal even though there was no play area. Kid-friendliness: It is uncomfortable for the children because the place is small and they go to McDonalds and they want to run and play, and this is not possible. Other than that everything is normal.

DANGER DINERS price gouging. McDonald s iced coffee large 3.20 and Starbucks Venti is 3.95. Starbucks tastes 1000x better than McDonald s watered down coffee. Yuck!

Very rude customer service

Great McDonalds. Opens late. Perfect to go to after drinking a bunch of beer at the nearby breweries. Does not have ordering screens like other McDonalds but thats okay Food

They definitely abuse the drive through parking system here. No matter how small my order is at the drive through, they ALWAYS make me park and wait. Even when NO ONE is behind me?? Last time I waited there 15 minutes for two little items and I could see in my rearview mirror that they then go on to sever like 5 others with big orders behind me before I even get mine.. I was in a hurry! What happened to first come first serve?! That parking system should only be used when it s busy and people are in the way with a large order. Not a small one!

The staff here in the mornings deliberately try to s*#! In your cornflakes, they re rude, slow, and almost never get the order right and are quick to say it s customers fault.

Open whenever they feel like it. I have gave them. A few extra minutes and still no one showed up. They have messed up on my order over 3 times.

Unfortunately tables were dirty, garbage needed changing, in the bathroom soap dispenser was pulled off the wall so not usable

I waited over 20 minutes to buy two cups of coffee at Drive Thru. It wasnt like that, but its been so slow since 3 weeks ago.

Quality of service and food was A1 as always from the McDonald s crew. But the trash bin was something of note. IT WAS OVERFLOWING ALL OVER THE PLACE BLEH!!!

Its McDonalds. Personally I dont really like McDonalds but this one is top notch. Service always good even at night I often am driving home late and this is the best place for dinner and it may taste strange but the staff are always super nice. They get it right the first time and are very helpful in ordering. Great establishment will come again.

Poor costumer service and late

What a horribly run mcdonalds last time forgot both my brekkie sandwiches in bag had to go all the way back , time after that there app wouldnt open properly to use coupon they saw the coupon but it kept opening old coupon made me try ten times refreshing, reopening app till I finely said forget it and left. Now today I went ordered a few items ordered a double cheeseburger for my friend made like a big Mac they charged me an extra five dollars I asked why she said for big Mac sauce I said are u kidding me telling her multiple mcdonalds do it no charge so basicly paying the same damn price. Last time I go I hope you read this mcdonalds your management team is horrendous at the port moody mcdonalds on st.johns. I went there 2 times in the past and then I gave up and always went farther to other McDonald locations, because the wait time was simply too long. I feel it is true that this is the WORST McDonald. Looking at other reviews, it seems the service didn t improve over the past years. I will keep skipping this place.

Their food is good, like every other McDonalds. The only problem is that its very crowded and somehow it takes really long time to get order and prep the meal. Understandable because its very crowded.

I placed a pick up order through the McDonalds app in the evening (1:30 am). When I picked it up on my scooter at the pick up window. they refused to deliver my order as I had to have a car to order through the Drive thru. Is this ok? Was just there .30min ago, ordered coffee, drove off only to taste that my coffee is watered down. Hot water added really???? Tried calling 3 times and they are not answering. That s dumb, doing that to someone that picks up coffee there daily. Unbelievable!!!!
