I ordered the meal deal which is 2$ more expensive then other DQs. Which is fine i get they need to make $ its tough to get by giving such a great deal, but they put like half the ice cream as they should. Fill the cup up next time if you are going to over charge me. food tasted good but not filling the cup full probably saved them 50 cents but now they lost a customer hope the 50 cent was worth it. Also the washroom smelt like a broken sewer line and was filthy absolutely disgusting yall need to straighten that out.
Super slow service. Staff seem overwhelmed even though the place was mostly empty at 0830.restaurant needs a serious update or makeover. It’s got an 90s slum McDonalds in a small town in the US vibe. Sundae was still yummy, probably better to get it to go.
Amazing communication and service! Made our son’s excellent birthday cake and even after I made a mistake, they made it perfect! Best customer service and awesome product outcome 😊 Highly recommended!
We come here a few times a year to treat the kids. Service is prompt. We enjoy the fries and blizzards. No vegetarian burgers and we don’t eat meat so I can’t comment on most of their food. Dated eating area but it’s always been clean. Limited parking so we generally walk over.
Unfortunately the staff don’t know the rule to flip blizzards upside down. I've come to this location many times & they did it with the lid on (wrong ) every time! I never asked for lid & today I finally mentioned to them that blizzards are flipped any other location except for here & the rule is if it’s not , then the next ones free . Seems like most of the Staff are unaware of this & hope the manager teaches them the proper way or for corporate to not have this advertised

A Port Moody jewel, this Dairy Queen has been a neighborhood hot weather destination for many years. A tight drive thru but always busy. After serving hot food and Orange Julius as well this location is a fast food competitor. I'll always stop in for a Blizzard, Banana Split, Peanut Buster Parfait or Sundae when the hot weather comes around.
Hot eat and cool treats!! This Dairy Queen has been here for ages and is so nostalgic! A great location right in the heart of Port Moody. It has a drive thru, which is super convenient for a craving on the go or bringing something home for someone special! It doesn’t have much parking and is bopping on a hot day.. but I’ve never had to park somewhere else.. probably would do some good after eating one of their treats anyways haha!! We often have the treat pizzas for birthdays, they are delicious! Tonight we had a Jurassic Blizzard, Turtles Blizzard, dipped cone and a fudge stuffed cookie... which wasnt the best presentation... but it was delicious!!

VERY Long piece of hair in my burger!! I came in with my friend around evening to go for a royal fudge blizzard, poutine and 2 for $9 burger thing and GROSS!!! Threw both the burgers away 2 stars to be nice because blizzard was yum even tho it tasted like there were peanuts definitely cross contaminated Plz get nets & wear caps BOH if u havent already...

Its really okay and thats about it. The kids like the ice cream cake for birthdays. The burgers are greasy. The chicken strips seem popular. They do have pretty good seasoning on the breading. Its worth exploring all the different flavours you could add to the blizzards.

Service was good. They forgot to hand out napkins and the process of putting a plastic spoon inside the Sunday cup is innovative but messy because the spoon gets covered in chocolate sauce and ice cream. One more reason they should offer napkins. Also the access to the drive-thru from the parking lot and the street simultaneously caused a lot of confusion especially when it got busy. I recommend access from the parking lot be blocked.

Charging 25 cents for bags now. Charging for bags is already bad but 25 cents for a tiny paper bag? I know it wont matter to you but, lost a customer for being greedy.

I asked for a burger wrapped in lettuce as I m doing keto. The staff treated me like I was stupid for asking for such a request and I could hear them in the back loudly being rude about my request when I asked them to even just give me a burger no bun. It was very embarrassing as I have never had this happen at any other burger place or restaurant when requested. I usually never leave negative reviews but it was sad to see staff with such poor customer service over what I saw as a very reasonable request nowadays.

I ordered an Oreo Blizzard birthday cake on the phone and just asked them to add some flowers on the cake. They made a very beautiful and lovely cake. Thank you for the one who made the cake and the staff are very nice too

Decent dairy queen. Lines can be long at night. Sometimes they mess up so make sure to check your order before you leave and ask for your receipt. They were willing to do cannabis leafs on my bday cake a while back which was nice!

Oh man..ordered food thru skip with some desserts and drinks. Got one drink delivered on a tray with a fork and a napkin. And the drink was even incorrect. Contacted skip and reordered. Paid the 2nd delivery fee, 2nd tip, 2nd service charge etc. Yeah they missed food again. It had now been over an hour since I initially ordered so I drove down to go get it. They couldnt give me my missing food so I paid for the food a 3rd time. This is after sitting in a drive thru for 30 minutes no exaggeration. And I couldnt reverse out as I was blocked in by a pile of cars. I know its not their fault it was busy but the length each order took was absolutely ridiculous. Having worked in restaurants im actually way too forgiving when it comes to these things and even Im saying it was out of hand. Like 33 minutes to get out of drive thru and i was the 5th car. The worst part is the chicken was old and cold and dried up and lo and behold, they reused one of the missing pieces from my order that was so long ago. I know this because the matching order number was on it. So annoying of a night

Staff are great no complaints and always get solid service. Inside could use some renovations/updates... pretty dated but honestly I can understand why that isnt such a priority these days. I do wish you could do mobile orders at this location. I hope that will change in the future. You cant go wrong with hot eats and cool treats.

Among fast food burger places DQ is by far the best tasting and best value. They are the tops when it comes to great ice cream treats. I stop here often when I go to Coquitlam.
Very bad experience. Bought a crispy chicken burger and the chicken patty inside the burger was raw , not fully fried.
Staff is great, so nice. Honey bbq chicken strips are the favorite. 2 for $5 deals are great to add on a couple of sundaes!

Ordered two medium size ice cream cones. Usually it takes only 5 minutes maximum in the DQ located in Coquitlam center. Well, there are 3 staff working here at the front and not so many customers, and it took about 15 minutes! When I asked for my order, the one who answered me had no idea about my order. Very slow service.
When your cravings wont stop until you give in, which is always the case, go for poutine, chicken strips and sundaes. Where do you go? Dairy Queen!
Love this DQ...its nostalgic! DQ was one of my first jobs and I swear I can still make that 4 oz cone with swirl at the top! Lifelong skill!!

Got turned away while still open. Refused to give us service cause they said they close at 9pm. However we were in line at 845pm. They turned away 4 cars who were waiting in line. Not the expected experience of waiting and then being turned away. If closing time is 9pm, whoever is there up to 8:59pm should be given service. Not a way to treat customers
Long lineup, twenty minute wait for our food. But there is a reason you go to DQ on a nice night and the prices help to.
This has been a local haunt since I was a teenager. Its always been great customer service and the staff is friendly.

Some DQ are good, some are bad. There is times when I have gotten an oreo blizzards and there is barely one whole oreos worth in it. This was not the case. I got an oreo and peanut blizzard today and I think there was more oreo and peanuts than icecream. This location is very far from where I live but you can rest assured that when I am back in the area, I will be stopping here again. If I lived close to this location i would inevitably have to get forklifted out of my apartment.

When it looked like Id missed the cut off for ordering a custom cake online, I emailed the Port Moody store @ 9:30pm and they confirmed and had my daughters Among Us themed birthday cake ready for pick up by 3pm the next day, exceeding my expectations for service and quality!
The Staff Was Very Welcoming! One Staff Member Was Very Welcoming,Knowledgeable and accommodating for when ordering my ice cream cake! One Staff Member Was Very Nice,Superb and very accommodating because I asked for sprinkles to put around the top and bottom of the cake on the top and bottom icing but they forgot or didnt put it on top of the cake so one staff member asked my mom and I to put sprinkles around the cake for us and she did and she also asked us and wanted to make sure that it looks good or not and that same staff member my mom also asked do we still have to use a $5 dollars off of the cake or not and since my mom didnt have that coupon she also did that $5 dollar off discount off of the cake for us!
This dairy queen is %10000 times better then the poco one. While the poco dairy queen sells half a cup of ice cream, while this one serves full cup. If i were you, i d much rather go to this one over the other :)
