Nice place and delicious and tasty.

The bakery itself is amazing but the customers are insufferable. Everyone spends a half hour at the counter asking questions as if theyre buying a car instead of a pie. Self entitled suburbanites at their worst.

Very sweet local bakery! Gabi and Jules goes out of their way to hire disabled/neurodiverse staff. The walls are covered in inspiring quotes from famous writers and also from one of the staff! Super wholesome community vibes.

Had a few different items from here and everything was absolutely delicious! Will absolutely return :)

They have the funniest mugs for sale there. The staff is super chill.

I recently purchased a pumpkin pie and was so disappointed as the crust was like cardboard. It was difficult to cut and eat. The filling was very nice but with a tough crust the experience was disappointing.

Good coffee, polite service, uncomfotable chairs, no wifi and hard to get cell data, expensive pastries at $8 per pie slice plus $1.50 if add cream. Acceptable if perfect overall but sadly disappointing when mixed berry and rhubarb pie is overwhelmed with cinnamon...not to my personal taste although could be yours.

A pie costs as much as 3 people going for dinner. But its such a good pie it makes you weep and then anger sweeps over you and then you weep more cause its so good.

My girlfriend and I came down for coffee and dessert midday. I had the carrot cake and she had the apple crostata both fantasic desserts. but however the service was quite lackluster and the amount of flys that were buzzing around the baked goods was gross and unsanitary.

The savoury crostatas are so good.

We bought a whole fresh peach pie and 2 frozen pies. Plus more. The peach pie is one big crust with very little fruit. The middle of it was undercooked goey crust. Half of 4 pieces got tossed. That is embarrassing.

The pies are delicious! The flavours are interesting, and the crust is fabulously flaky and thick, yet still tender. The place is really cute too, great to sit down and enjoy. I highly recommend it, because theyll warm your pie for you if you like and theres an option to add whipping cream.

I finally went here and unfortunately, it may be my last. I bought the Apple pie as that was all that was left and was shocked when I bought a package of 6 cookies and a pie for $50!! The pie is huge but the crust doesnt stay crispy. It doesnt microwave well so you need to air fry it for best results. The atmosphere and customer service was amazing. I just didnt feel the cost and quality of the pie matched up.

Very disappointed with the banana cream pie I ordered for Father s Day. Crust was so hard we could barely cut through it, banana filling was quite dense and was a grey colour (a bit off-putting). The pie tasted heavily of pumpkin pie spice - not banana. Cream dolloped on top was delicious - I wish it were simply folded in with banana slices so it would have made for a lighter, fluffier (and more pleasing colour) pie. I expected so much more for $38. and my 6 dinner guests either passed altogether (can you imagine!), asked for just a very small piece to taste, or didn t finish their piece - so disappointing! Help, we still have more than half the pie left in the fridge!

As promised. I have fixed my review now that the butter chicken pie is back! Wooooo!!

Horrible customer service and lack of integrity in handling situation regarding experience with poor quality product. Manager and owner consulted however did not believe customer on what was discussed and agreed upon with one of their staff resistant to try and remedy the issue- they hide behind their black and white application of return/exhange policy. Pies might be delicious here but be warned if there is an issue outside of the norm, their lack of care about customer satisfaction will leave a bad taste in your mouth. I have shared this experience with many friends and family- support other local businesses like Sweet Talk Donuts, Bak D cookies, Doughnut Love- they value their customers and know how to do business.

It has jumped the shark. Used to be cool. No foccacia and the retail spot on Hastings feels very corporate. Too bad.

I wish there were 10 stars!! For both the service & the food I am only visiting for a few days but made time to go in every single day for a treat. We decided to visit Port Moody on a Saturday afternoon and directly went to Gabi & Jules for a pie fix before exploring. We opted for a slice of rhubarb, blackberry & blueberry pie with a hot cocholate. Both were super yummy. So important to note that they only have one or two pie flavours to choose from if you want a slice. Otherwise you can buy a whole pie in different flavours. The per slice pie flavours change daily. The cafe offers a variety of other sweet goodies but I am a pie girl. The set up is cute both inside and outside for seating. Staff are friendly. There is another location in Burnaby and I look forward to visiting. They also sell frozen savoury and sweet pies to take away.

Im really sorry but the prices for a 10 inch pie are OBSCENE. Who pays $50 for a small-ish take home pie. I left without buying anything because the prices are just insulting. The store has good reviews so I guess if you have a lot of money to burn, this is for you. In australia these are everywhere and we dont pay over $25 so this was a shock.

Everything was delicious, from a carrot cake to a chicken pot pie, and the staff is very friendly, they seem very happy to work there. Good vibes!

Realized they were super busy on Christmas Eve but I didnt see that that one of the pies was incorrect until warming it up for my dinner guests the next day. The Holly Jolly was okay (just a very thin layer of the cheesecake and lots of whipping cream) and the berry crumble or whatever it was, was just a lumpy crumbled granola and jam concoction. Expected better for the price.

Great if you love $50 meat pies that feed two people! They don t put a sign out when they sell out of pie so get there early. Utter disappointment when you travel all the way there, stand in line, and the staff tell you no pie left .

Be sure to follow them on social media to make sure you dont miss their feature pie like their Strawberries Peaches & Cream. The perfect ratio between the strawberries and peaches is balanced with the cream custard. Let s not forget the best pie crust. Perfectly flaky and even holds up to a night in the fridge without becoming soggy.

Review is for Burnaby location: I have been here many times and have never been impressed. Kept giving them chance after chance. My friends and I have come first thing in the morning after runs and the service is terrible. Friendly, but terrible. They always forget our orders, take forever, and even after asking for the pies to be warmed up, still get them almost ice cold. Even after asking a SECOND time for the pies to be warmed up, they still come back to us with only the tops and bottoms warmed. The insides of pies are still cold. I learned not to order a fancy coffee and just ordered drip because the other coffees take too long. I am done with Gabi and Jules Burnaby and will no longer go there after our morning runs. Also, no wifi.

Picked savory pies from them . Taste gone down, cost- expensive as always they don t even provide silver bowl in which baking is done. Very disappointed .

Got a Strawberry Ginger Peach pie yesterday from the Burnaby location for a birthday celebration and so disappointed with the bottom crust. I am not a baker so may not use the correct description but the bottom crust was tough to cut through with a fork. Almost as if it was overbaked. We have always enjoyed previous fruit pies from the Port Moody store but disappointed with yesterdays purchase.

Must go for the delicious carrot cake and caramel toffee late!!! Make sure you bring someone with you to share the treats!

Ordered one pastry and orange latte to try and ended up ordering another pastry to eat at the spot and bought two more pieces of pie to take home Great flavors and extremely friendly staffs! Recommend ordering online in advance for whole pies because they get sold out quickly.

Pies are never mindblowingly good to me so this is as good as it gets :) The feature pie was blackberry apple; blackberries were nice and tart, can never go wrong with apples, and the custard inside was a nice touch. Only feedback is for the pie to be warmed up more. Really cute things you can buy like bake-at-home cookie/brownie jars, jam, ketchup, funny magnets and mugs, etc.

Full disclaimer I have never done the ordering from here - so this is just a product review. The blueberry Earl Grey pie is one of the best pies I have ever experienced. My husband got one for me for my COVID birthday in 2020 and it was amazing! Made the birthday special and delicious. He got it for me again this year and it was just as good! We also got a box of the crostatas both times and those are really good as well. The pastry is flaky, but holds up beautifully, and the filling is great and not too sweet. Highly Recommend!

Really happy with everything Ive gotten from them so far. Usually I find certain pies and baked goods overly sweet or even too salty but Gabi & Jules doesnt over do it. The flaky crust on the crostatas is perfect and we loved both the savoury and sweet options. They really do a great job letting the ingredients naturally sweeten/season the pastry. I recommend this place hands down!

Tried the carrot cake and chocolate chip cookies at the poirier farmers market on Sunday. The carrot cake was definitely low sugar which may or may not be a good thing, but the chocolate chip cookies were divine. They tasted just like my own homemade cookies without the oats and didnt even make it home!

I recently purchased the Fudge Brownie Mix in a Jar and I have to say, I am extremely impressed! The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The mix itself smelled delicious, and I couldnt wait to get started. The process of making the brownies was incredibly simple - I just had to mix the contents of the jar with some melted butter and eggs, spread the mixture into a pan, and bake it for 30-35 minutes. The end result was a batch of the most delicious, gooey, fudgy brownies I have ever tasted! I really appreciate the convenience of this mix - I didnt have to worry about measuring out ingredients or wondering if I had everything I needed. We ate them too fast for pics.

Every pie we ve ever tried has been fantastic! We ve never ordered in, but the patio in front is super cute to sit with a coffee and a snack. Pies are a bit pricey, but you can tell they re using quality ingredients so they re worth every penny.

One of the best pot pies I have ever had in my life. The crust is comparable to biting into a crisp croissant! So buttery!

The matriarch of Cafe Diviano success. The Gabi & Jules are named after the daughters of the baker. This spot is the mothership. Although I enjoyed the Yelp Elite experience of their new store on Hastings Street, this place is another story. Service is terrible. Rude staff. Kicks us out after us sitting down for 5 minutes, by announcing we are closed at 3:45pm. When in fact they are closed at 4. Looking at their older reviews, it is apparent their business has been declining so much so they leased 1/2 of their space to a martial arts studio. FYI, it is not the times, or inflation. It is the terrible customer service!!

Had a slice of the blueberry Earl Grey pie and another of the strawberry ginger pie. The strawberry one was okay, but I preferred the taste and texture of the blueberry one, especially on the crust. Definitely recommend that flavour. I want to try the chocolate one next!

This is one of those places that you cant help coming back to. We dont live in the lower mainland but we find ourselves at Gabi & Jules at least once every time we visit family in the area. They have the best pies and treats and coffee and service on the planet. Its high praise and I dont give it lightly.

Had the Loaded Potato Pie and it was awesome. Great crust to filling ratio and bacon with potato was perfect. All the other pies look delicious too. Looking forward to going back. Too bad its a little far from where I live.

I ordered the Strawberry, Apple and Rubarb Crisp pie for my friends birthday. We had the Peach pie last year. Their pies are amazing !We have made it a tradition. Cant wait till the next birthday to celebrate with another slice of deliciousness!! I picked up at the Burnaby location this time and the two ladies working in the shop were friendly and kind. You get what you pay for.

went this morning and got a spinach artichoke crostata and an eggnog latte. the latte didnt taste like eggnog at all. the crostata was not nearly as good as it notmally is lacked alot of flavour and was luke warm. been here so many times and loved it not sure if they changed the chef or the recipe .

Everything they make is absolutely delicious, if you can ever make it there before they close. If you have something going on mid-week, or on Fridays, as I often do, and need to pick something up on your way home, but also work full time... tough luck. They should really consider offering pick-up until at least 6 pm a couple days a week. 10 to 4 pm is absolutely impossible to work with for people that work 9 to 5 and are out of their delivery range, or are not home to receive products on the specific days they offer. I would have rated a lot higher if it wasnt so hard to make it there as a working professional. Most of their items are over priced as well.

Cute store with wonderful pastries. Slightly on the pricier side, but worth every penny IMO. Their packaging is fantastic as well for longer travels in the car. Their to-go savory pies come with a baking instruction and its great! Ive tried almost all their pies now and I still look forward to trying more.

Hands down the best pie shop around. Their crostatas are flaky, focaccia is flavourful, and their savoury pies are incredible. Highly recommend their Chicken pot pie and their Blueberry early grey pies. Prices are on the higher side but it s quality over quantity and the portions are generous. TIP: Make sure to check out their feature pie Saturday specials!

Pie so good I had it for my Birthday Cake! The pies here are great but my personal favourite is so stellar Ive had it instead of the traditional Birthday Cake: Salted Honey Caramel Pie. Sweet and addictive, I order multiples when they have it. Im sure youll find your own favourite, but I highly (DEFINITELY) recommend getting on the email list to see the weekly pies and special occasion food as they regularly sell out. Wonderful staff. Lovely place to have coffee and pie / baked goods.

I have been to Gabi & Jules twice. They make most delicious carrot cakes. It is located in the area of Rocky Point where I can go for a walk by the water, and enjoy a coffee and a treat.

I usually never aventure myself out Vancouver, but this was a wonderful experience, the please is just beautiful, the options of sweet where great, abs teste Amazing. Superb customer services

The best apple pie ever

When Langley airport pie wasnt available we came here. Blew my mind. We planned on sharing 2. We ate 3... & took a whole pie home. - Plus, great people. I love to support people that help others etc. Read the messages in the hallway toward the washroom (since youre obviously going to wash your hands before you eat - youre not an animal). Good stuff.

We were super excited to try out this local spot. Unfortunately for us when we were asked if we wanted to have our pastry s warmed up (we had 2 savoury and one sweet) as we were dining outside on the patio. They came out barely warm. Centre was cold and the pastry s were barely even flaky as to lack of it being heated up properly. When brought out to us they called out our number and set them down at the take-away table they have set up outside for pick up orders. And then told us to grab it from there. But other guests that were also sitting at tables beside us got there items brought to them at there table?? Hmm.. and then we went inside to ask for a glass of water. Charged .50 each for a cup of water even though we chose to dine in and dropped $21 for the 3 pastry s and left a tip.. meh in my opinion.

Been going to this place for years . Since they changed names it s been horrible service . I went today to grab iced drinks and they took our order and after waiting 23 min we asked and he had forgotten to make our drink . They apologized and said they will make them ASAP . After couple min he said that they are out of ice and they can make us something else instead. When I asked for a refund it took him another 12 min to give me a refund without the tips that I had payed . At that point I just wanted to leave and never go back . Lot of descent differ shops in the neighbourhood with good service . One employee can always cost a business customers. I guess they changed names for a reason but I will not be going there ever again .

I got a piece of a rubato strawberry pie and not the whole small one I ordered. Nobody asked me if I wanted a piece of the pie or the small whole one which didn t have name on it. I called and no compensation from place except telling me the name of the pie I suppose to order which is a Rosetta. I wanted the Rosetta for the crust not the one I got with a bunch of filling and hardly crust! I went back and saw a small sign by the Rosetta pie which was always there. Please make sign bigger. This establishment offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that perfectly fits Port Moodys cozy vibe. The abundance of pastry, both savory and sweet, requires more than one visit. But their pies are headliners of the whole experience. Seriously, try them. They even make dog treats. This place is excellent.

Gabi & Jules is a new addition to my neighbourhood (Burnaby location). I ve been here a few times and tried their Pie slices, crostata and croissants. Also enjoyed their mint mocha frappe off of the summer menu. Their pastries are delicious, flaky and flavourful. Gabi and Jules is a cute coffee shop with other items to purchase for the pantry as well as fresh and frozen pies. I ll definitely be a regular here!

Wonderful pies!!

While their sweet pies are to die for, their meat pie was very underwhelming. We ordered a full hardy beef and mushroom pie and two slices of the apple toffee pie. The apple toffee pie is the best pie I have ever had. Hands down. The meat pie is probably the most disappointing, especially considering how good the apple pie was. For $50 it was not worth it at all. I could probably count the shreds of meat in there on one hand. And it was very scantly seasoned. The crust was spectacular as usual for their pies. But it did nothing to make up for the deeply underwhelming filling. It felt quite terrible because this was the first meat pie I tried from here after being a very happy customer of their sweet pies. Thankfully they do sell their pie dough. And I will be coming back for the sweet pies.

Blueberry Earl Grey pie was a massive hit

This was my first purchase at Gabi and Jules. I am glad I called ahead and ordered my pie as there was a limited selection available. I ordered the strawberry, peach and ginger pie for a friends birthday. It was delicious. My only reason for giving a four-star rating is the high price and the new trainee lacking customer service and a smile. I will recommend this bakery to friends but it is very expensive! The brownie that I also purchased was dried out and not fresh. Hopefully my next visit will rate a five-star review.

Stunning Pies. Had never been here or even heard of the place; but we got some pies for Thanksgiving and OH my WORD. Wondrous. Excellent taste, texture, and even came with personalized instructions to heat them to perfection. I will shamefully admit to keeping one such purchased pie for myself... Yet I dont regret it in the least!! To top everything off it was one easy call to setup a pickup, order was ready within a couple hours, hand-off was quick, efficient, and delightfully cordial in all ways. We are thoroughly excited to try more of their selection, and if theyre half as good as my first purchases Ill be needing to buy some new belts!

A delightful spot in Port Moody Came in for the 1st time, customer service was wonderful and boy it smelled good in here! Have a Dairy-allergy so I was limited to the Dark Chocolate Mint Cookie and even manage to snag a Chili-Rosemary Focaccia! They both taste great!

The pies are just amazing and tasty. Blueberry Earl Grey is my favourite. They are made fresh in house. You can also buy frozen ones and bake at home. Highly recommended for your pie cravings.

Ive been coming here for years. Its one of the best bakeries youll find. And they make pretty good coffee and other beverages too! Highly recommended. Everything Ive had here has been awesome.

Got a few little pies to try out and boy am I happy I went in to grab them! Super tasty! I asked them to warm it up for me and in the cold weather it hit the spot!

Very sad that they have discontinued making the ginger molasses sandwich cookies
