I remember the pizza being better but this time the dough was overcooked on both our pizzas and cardboard like. They skimped on the cheese too so it just tasted OK. Def not worth the cost. The service was also awful and I felt like a burden being there. The server never checked on us after we received our food and spoke maybe one sentence to us. Just a disappointing experience overall. I guess there s a reason why people line up for Spacca and not for this place.

Pizza was one of the best we have had. Definitely be back!

As a fellow business owner on Murray street I thought I would try mama said pizza place on Murray Street and my surprise it s not just a pizza place. It s a cool bar, but I hope not too many of you find out about it because I love it. I just met the most personable bar tender that makes the most amazing drinks I think his name is B if I m wrong. I m sorry, give it a try if you don t I m just happy ask him to make you something special. Give him the idea of a rum base tequila base and he ll make it for you. You will be quite impressed as I am.

Hands down MamaSaid is one of the best pizzas weve ever had! The crust is thin and crispy and not soggy like some pizzas. The toppings are very tasty and quite different than your usual pizza places. We had the Day Walker which has a tapenade topping which is quite unique and tasty. There was however, a problem with the Uber delivery. The order was slow in arriving and the pizza arrived cold. In spite of having to reheat the pizza, it was still delicious. We notified the owners about the delivery situation and they were very prompt in replying to us. MamaSaid is now our go to pizza place and we highly recommend them.

The pizza was amazing! Tried the mama pizza, it was incredible, the bartender with the moustache made an amazing bone twister and was super fun to talk to, great company, even better employees!

A fun place to have a drink and a pizza. I am biased towards Napoletana style pizza, but if youre looking for something American style but with quality ingredients, youll be very pleased.

Good pizza , electric brick oven. New york style brick oven pizza. I ordered the cheese to make an honest review and not a review of the toppings. Correct amount of cheese, decent char, some flop but not too bad. Flavorful sauce. Crust was ok. Not amazing, not bad. Just ok. This is a solid 7.6 pizza. As a new yorker born and raised i would eat this pizza again. Pretty good. Very good compared to most BC pizza places. A bit pricy. $20 for a cheese pizza i had no problem eating by myself. The resturant/bar is a little on the small side. The service is very good.

We ordered our 2 pizzas at 5:45 and we were told to pick them up at 6:35. We arrived and paid for the 2 pizzas, and were told they would be another 15 - 20 minutes. At 7 pm we were handed 1 pizza and told that is all they made. We eventually did receive a full credit but by the time we drove the 5 minutes home, the pizza was cold. The quality of pizza crust was good but it would have been so much better if it had been hot! They were simply too busy to take our small order of 2 pizzas on a Saturday night. Very poof customer service!

We heard such great things about Mama said; even saw how full the restaurant was, so we knew we had to try it. Called in and ordered 2 pizzas at 545 and was told it would be ready at 635. Arrived at 635 paid and was told it would be another 15- 20 minutes as they had a large order come in. Unacceptable! So I walked back in 20 minutes later for them to tell me they added fennel to the 2nd pizza and would have to remake it. At this time, it had been over 1 hour since we placed the order, and frankly, I was directed with this entire scenario. So I was fed up and asked for a refund for all of it. They had trouble refunding, and after a few attempts, I had to call the manager . Nothing got solved, so just to get me out of there, she gave Mr cash back and 1 of 1 pizzas we ordered. Now, this had been sitting on the bar while all this was going on. So I drove the 5 minutes home .and it was barely warm. The taste was okay, a bit too thin of crust to hold the toppings. Plus, the toppings were literally dropped in 1 line across the pizza, so not on every slice. Will not recommend it and will not go back. Their box even says HOT and FRESH, and it definitely wasnt. Plus, their customer service needs work. Not worth the original price of 48 for 2 pizzas before tip

Tried The Mama and Papa Roni both were great. Great pizza to enjoy at the park. Loved the honey crust.

Our expectations were high because of the ratings. We ordered pepperoni and greenhouse pizzas from the food truck, but unfortunately they were below average for the price.

Appreciate that they were accommodative to topping changes, however I didn t find their pizza amazingly delicious. Especially given the price point. Around $55 before taxes for 2 pizzas is certainly on the higher end in my books and it better be REALLY good. I found the dough really hard, my jaw was hurting. Over hyped and will not be returning, sadly.

Come here after work all the time just to grab a slice of za and a quick drink. Service has always been fantastic and the staff makes you feel like you are on of their own. Pizza is always fresh and delicious and the drinks are just as good. Only thing that I wish was more seating.

Best Pizza in Port Moody!

Pizza is great but highly annoyed. Ordered online. Showed up to pick it up. The order was in there system but was never made because the ticket didnt print Was told I can either get a refund or wait. How about you give me a refund and the pizza after I wait 10+ more minutes in your establishment without being offered water or anything else. Terrible. Pizza is good but the service makes me no longer interested in this establishment.

Great local pizza! Ended up going with the pepperoni king & caged heat. Great tasting oven made pizza that comes in either 14 or 16 , all pizzas are just 6 slices the slices are just slightly bigger depending on the size. Went with 2 hot honey and 2 chipotle garlic sauces. The chipotle garlic actually ended up being the spicer sauce out of the 2 which caught us by surprise but was good nonetheless Overall pizza and sauces were great but I found the prices to be a bit steep paying $75 for 2 pizzas 4 dips and the tip. Would recommend :)

We absolutely love Mama Said! Its our go-to pizza spot and we always order from here for visiting family/friends. Weve tried half of the pizzas on the menu for takeout and the Pepperoni King is by far our favourite. Do yourself a favour and add the honey sesame crust! At peak times the longest weve waited for pick up is 45 mins but usually its only 20 minutes. Wheelchair accessibility: Its small inside but there is room for a wheelchair

Overall great pizza although there were several parts of our pizza where the crust was burnt. On both of the pizzas we got, I was only able to taste some ingredients on one slice, so my main critique would be more even spread of the ingredients. Same with the fungus pizza. I didnt really taste the mushroom except on one piece so if the mushrooms were bigger thatd help. But yeah overall yummy recipe so yes would come back. Total was $53 Convenient online order system thats ready for pick up in about 30 To avoid being late I would go straight for the free underground parking of the building via same street entrance as I had trouble snagging a spot at prime dinner time on a Thurs

I have got 3 pizzas from this place. Greenhouse which is a vegetarian one is good. Pesto Polo pizza and Cheese pizza are both mediocre. Both times the staff were unwelcoming. I wish they bring the food truck back; it used to have a great meatball sandwich.

Excellent pizza, nice thin and crisp bottom with soft crust and delicious flavours of sauce and toppings. The sesame honey crust is pretty good but I personally prefer regular crust. Lots of good vegan options.

I ve been waiting for this place to open for months and wanted to give it a few visits before I could give a proper review! I ve been a fan of their food truck for a while and this place does not disappoint! On to the pizza - good stuff! Like really, really good pizza! If it s your first time, try the Mama or the Brooklyn. Don t skimp out and get some hot honey sauce for the crusts! If you don t feel like a full pizza, grab it by the slice for $5 each. Not a huge choice for appies but the meatballs are amazing! They re saucy, cheesy, and have little bit of a kick to them. The drink menu is pretty extensive as well but can t go wrong with a good old locally brewed lager! The staff are super friendly, especially if you sit at the bar. Big shout out to Eiman (I probably spelled this wrong lol), Brandon, and Paige for great service and company! There s also tvs everywhere and it s a good place to watch sports games. I live in the building above so my review might be a bit bias but all in all it s my new fav hangout place and I m sure it would be yours too if you give it a shot! Oh and bonus points for being kid friendly! Cheers!

Not bad pizza, but it is overpriced for what you get. Also they only take online ordering (no phone call). This system is clunky because you only get the wait time after you pay. Suprised! You have an hour wait to get your pizza! Food : 2/5

Went this afternoon for lunch. Had the greenhouse pizza. Was pleasantly surprised by the very sourdoughy crust. Very delicious pizza. Definitely worth checking out. Plenty of parking spots available in the building. Just take a right on the next road and follow the road into the parking stall.

We had a great family dinner at the Mama Said Pizza! The corner seats a perfect for families with younger kids. We all loved the pizza. Friendly service and clean environment! We will be back

My complaint was being offered a drink then arriving with a different drink and charging 30 bucks for the two drinks which I wasn t given an option about having just confronted with the take it or leave and still paying a steep price . Honestly a lot of people told me how good this place is. I tried it a year ago. I have a hard time eating any other pizza now. I m lucky it s walking distance. This place is the real deal. Now they have a storefront and serve drinks. It s a no brainer.

There are other pizzarias in Port Moody and the Lower Mainland. Ive tried many. Some Id give only a passing grade. Others a definite fail. Boiled in a greasy pan? Doughy, underbaked crust? Timid tomato sauce? Artificial cheese? Not here. Mama Said is far and away the best pizza Ive ever had in a long, long time. As a matter of fact, its flavour and style faithfully replicates some of the delicious pizza Ive had in NYC, arguably the pizza capital of N. America. Latest discovery in Port Moody on the recommendation of a friend. Totally lived up to the hype! Super friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and great selection of pizzas. Loved the Hot Mess what a kick! So enjoyed the first pizza that we ordered another variety as a follow up. Topped it off with a to die for warmed up cookie! Mmmm. House recipe and secret, so you have to just go and get one or three!

I ordered the Pine and Swine for takeout and when I got home I realized there was no swine . Disappointed. $25 for pineapple and tomato sauce. Sadly can t recommend because of this. This place is normally great Waitress was lovely though.

I eat A LOT of pizza and have eaten many places. This Za is good... I rate it 8.5 out of 10. Only feedback I have is cheese. They dont put a lot of it and this is a za... give it some cheese. Not sure if Id return based on that because its not cheap.

Nice little spot in Port Moody. My first visit here. The restaurant is welcoming and well lit and clean.The service here is friendly and prompt. We ordered a few pizzas and enjoyed them all. We will be coming back again. If you visit try their mushroom pizza, the Hugh Fungus you will not regret it.

The pizza is good, staff is very friendly, we continue to order as we enjoy the pizza. A little pricy to be honest but I d rather pay a little more for good pizza then buy chain restaurant pizza. It s a shame the food truck no longer serves pizza at the brewery, I was wondering why there was zero line up but it s because they only serve subs now. One thing I recommend, call for your pizza pick up and do not use the website. The pizza was $15 extra ordering from website. Automatic gratuity was placed on my pick up order which I had to cancel and call in. I don t tip if I m not being served at a table. It s extra for the extra mile not a wage subsidy. We are loyal customers and will continue to enjoy their pizza.

I read some reviews online about Mama Said Pizza so we decided to try it this weekend. This pizza was AMAZING!!! Dont want to mention company names, but there is a thin crust pizza co. in PoCo that people rave about. Weve tried it 3 times and each time, its been so soggy. So disappointing!!! If you want to experience amazing thin crust pizza, you have to try Mama Said!!! We tried the Brooklyn. I cant say enough about this pizza. Probably the best pizza Ive had in years! Crispy and tasty, even 30 minutes after as we took it to the park to enjoy. Not cheap but what is these days. I am looking forward to our next visit! Keep up the good work. :)

Pretty much the only place we get pizza from in Port Moody now. The crust is thin, but crisp and holds its shape while you are eating it. Perfect texture (in my opinion). All the toppings have been delicious and really well balanced. Our toddler also approves and we can always find something for the whole family here! The cookie & ice cream have this panko white chocolate crumble on the top that is divine! Pizzas are a good size, and prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality!

Ordered take out pizzas, probably the blandest tasting pizza we have ever eaten, let alone paid $$ for...maybe 1 tsp of cheese on each slice and they advertise 2 types of cheese on the menu... think we will be sticking with The High Street Pizza going forward. We had moved to the area and wanted to support local but... So disappointed cause it was my treat day to boot! Lol

If you think mayonnaise is spicy, then this is the place for you. It was bland, the toppings were sparse, and way too expensive for the quality ($59.00 for two large pizzas). Id choose a Delissio throw in the oven pizza over this any day. Save yourself the disappointment and move on with your search.

This place is phenomenal. Every time I come in im greeted with a smile and you can tell the staff are experienced and skilled. The cocktails are expertly crafted (shoutout Brandon) and always leave me wanting more. The pizza is always perfectly done. All in all I ve never had a complaint and I ve always been taken care of with the utmost care and hospitality!

Third time I go to this place, and first time they just want to close right away, even they have still one hour to be open service terrible, and today and another day I went already, they suppose to close at 12, and I show up at 11 and guy very rude say, that they are it serving more food, so why u guys have open until 12 is you guys don t gonna sell food, don t got it, anyway. Driving all the way down to have pizza and just making wasted time of the costumers

Unique pizza flavours that have great potential. With that said, both of our pizzas were extremely burnt on the bottom. My wife and kids wouldn t eat it and we had to make them somethingelse for dinner. Waste of $60+.

This is the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. There were no toppings and it just tasted like hot sauce on cardboard. And it was $60....for this....Was really excited to try because of an insta post. Disappointing for sure. I remember joking with my husband earlier and he said he was going to get pizza from Dominos instead - I wish he had.

Port Moody has become a hot spot for great pizzas. This is another great addition to the scene. They definitely have some unique pizzas, like The Mama that are worth making the trek over there for the ingredients are all fresh and the flavours are amazing.

Absolutely fantastic pizza! We tried the pine and swine, and the black garlic sauce pepperoni (a bit too salty). The meatballs were 13/10, highly recommend! Amazing flavor and tiny bit of spice. The garlic sauce dip on the side was really good too. I think this has become one of my favs and I will most definitely be returning.

Their menu is not complete. They have more ingredients/seasoning than they display on their menu. So if you have any food preference or allergy you should stay clear from this place.

Had the Mama pizza. Was really tasty and that honey glazed crust was something unreal. As a savoury type of guy, I had my doubts at first but the combination of the sweet and savoury paired so well. Would def go back to try the other varieties. Recommend! Tip: order early. Our order took 50 minutes but they call you when it s ready. Worth the wait!

I ordered on Friday night. One whole pine and swine to go. Order took twice the time as quoted, this I didn t mind as I was having beers at Twin Sails brewery. I received the pizza and took it inside the brewery to enjoy. When I opened it up, there was literally no cheese. Think frozen pizza style. I was the saddest puppy in town. I ate one piece but it didn t cut it. My partner took three bites. We tried drinking more beer thinking we weren t drunk enough to enjoy. We let it sit awhile, took a couple more bites, but to no avail, it was just tomato and crust. We walked out to talk to the employees working but the truck was gone. My guess is that they made our pizza as one of the last pizzas of the night and ran out of cheese and tried to stretch our order. Signed, a sad pie

The best pizza you can get from a restaurant, let alone a pizza truck. Fluffy, but crisp crust. Minimal toppings if you want, but you can also beef the pizza up if you need. Go for the mama pizza, it s my personal favourite!

Really really good pizza!!! Or as they say on their website a damn good pizza. We ordered the Pine & Swine and it was delicious! One of the best pizzas that I ve ever had. We ordered soon after they opened so got our order in 20 minutes. I highly recommend! I can t wait to go back to try their other pizzas.

Mama told me to trust no strangers but mommy didnt say anything about eating pizza from them! Not sure where Im going with this but their Pizza was amazing and I bought the margarita pizza and blew my mind and taste buds away!

Pizza was good but the customer service was terrible. Not friendly and they forgot to make one of our pizzas (we only ordered two). Nothing was done to compensate. Disappointed as this was our first time ordering.

Fantastic pizza and service

Went to enjoy a few drinks on the patio at Twin Sails and get pizza at their food truck Mama Said, but when we went to order at 6:45 only one person at our table of 4 people were allowed to order. All we wanted to add was one pizza because the food was amazing in the past and we were all craving it! Somehow the lady making the food decided to just stop taking orders because she said she had to leave at 8pm regardless of the line that was wanting to order and she wasn t very kind to myself and didn t even turn around to talk to me standing at her window.

Great pizza but keeping that in mind it does sell out on busy nights! Ive tried a few pizzas and the mama is definitely the best! Speck is similar to Prosciutto. Make sure you get the garlic sauce and order ahead! Hoping theyll open up a restaurant locally one day.
